801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OKEX to be donated to Chinese government? on: March 10, 2018, 01:20:41 AM
The founder and CEO of OKEX Star Xu said they will be ready to hand over the operation of the platform to Chinese government at anytime, what do you think? Good news for the market?
https://www.coindesk.com/crypto-exchange-okcoin-prepared-to-donate-it-to-china/
It doesn't look good for me. Let me guess if star xu will try to hand over okex to the chinese government and there will be so many people are leaving to trade in okex. Okex moves to overseas to reach more demand in the trading platform.
I'm as one of the traders in okex will try to leave it as soon as possible if that will be happening soon.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK staking on: February 28, 2018, 11:16:12 PM
Isn't ARK a fork of Lisk? ARK and RISE all do delegate staking is this correct? Why would you want to hold or stake ARK, and not buy LISK? I see bigger potential and price break out with LISK than ARK.

Yes it is a fork but they have different goals now and I happened to like ARK's project more.

LISK is a good coin and I think both are good to invest on, I just see better return with ARK...I could be mistaken.
Lisk is not right as ARK in my opinion. With so many inflation and therefore I never heard about the result of SDK development. ARK was working to build coss bridge to another blockchain system just like what will be happened with ethereum to construct a blockchain to the dogecoin and then make it reusable again sooner.

I have 10k ark and I just keep my mine in mywallet.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or ETH? on: February 28, 2018, 11:12:21 PM
Which should I invest in, that potentially has more growth? I know this really isn't able to be given a direct answers, but what's everyones opinion and why are they different?

To me it seems more people are interested in ETH, over LTC which seems to be the case. More investors equals more interest, and a better growth.

The current issue with Litepay has kind of turned me off of LTC, but if things work out that seems like it could be a good spike in growth as well.
Litepay failed to launch not because of problem of technology or development. It is only about card issuers that are against crypto.
What the heck has happened with litepay.us?  If the card issuers against the cryptocurrency and you try to move to another card issuers. How a lot of people are feeling disappointed caused by this case.
It looks like tenx project still working on a better project rather than litepay. So many people are hyping litepay as a new gateway to buy litecoin. And that has become another fail? Sounds not good for me. Just the matter of time until their are moving towards another card issuer.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on: February 28, 2018, 10:57:27 PM
The cryptocurrency market has had a banner year thanks to the meteoric rise in bitcoin prices and the huge popularity of initial coin offerings as a new way of fundraising. Will the price of Bitcoin increase this year?
It will, ATH should become another future pitstop to reach the next ATH again and that may happen at the end of this year, So many people are speculating the future of bitcoin itself. When you are seeing the price of bitcoin jumps just in some minutes from below 10k to almost 11k and then you can try to take a conclusion about the possibility of bitcoin to reach another new ATH in the future again. That's your own decision dude. I just give a rational thing for you.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Charlie Lee is moving from Litecoin to NANO on: February 28, 2018, 10:42:28 PM
Charlie Lee looked at NANO 2 days ago: https://np.reddit.com/r/nanocurrency/comments/80c6fg/questions_about_nano_from_charlie_lee/

And it look like he adopted it: https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/968931625001140224 ... even though it is a completely different technology and a direct competitor to Litecoin (fast and cheap transactions)

What does it mean for Litecoin and Bitcoin (the coins he was strongly supporting) ?
He's adopting the nano but it seems charlie just bought some nano and out them all into his wallet.  But it looks like another FOMO from charlie lee or he has got a paid to promote such centralized coin in hit twitter. NANO used DAG systemn which very similar to IOTA itself. Used the server to validating any transaction to make the fees worth zero because they don't need to pay the miners again.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Whois to prevent possible scams on: February 28, 2018, 10:38:56 PM
I am trying to use WHOIS to know who is the owner of some ICO related web pages. Sometimes the identity is protected. Should I immediately suspect these? Is there any good reason to have it hidden?
I am talking about the WHOIS service of the internet domain registration authorities.

I know that some projects are protected their website data. But it seems not have 100 accuracies. Rather than use whois as the measure to define if that was a scam project or not and it think the whitepaper and code should become a very good measure for that. But with the protected whois data and it will be a good thing to see that as a suspicious project that there was a possibility to be a scam project.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any transport related coins on: February 27, 2018, 11:44:43 PM
I heard of "CarVertical", are there any more coins on transportation field?

I don't see any mention of FRAS until now.

You could check their ANN https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2661040.0

The ICO is ongoing and they claim to have UBER for partners.
UBER is not officially partnered with frascoin. That was a scam coin. You can ask uber directly about that, and I can say they are lying to the investors. How so many dumb people in these days invest without doing any research about that.
The developers are a greedy bastard. You can see that the frascoin's office just like a dead house. That's fucking a shame.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is dead, long live the ForkDelta on: February 27, 2018, 11:41:02 PM
I will stop using Etherdelta now. Forkdelta isn't what I'm looking for. Three management team has changed. They ran a bull shit ICO for Etherdelta and now they are enjoying their money. I recommend everyone to use idex exchange which is fast and better then forkdelta.

Well, Etheredelta are having a hard time to make a good services. Its better for ICO's to look for better exchanges so many investors will come and try not to use etherdelta because its a total mess. Idex exchange are good right now, new coins should be listed here for good.
I think forkdelta will not be good in the coming months it is like etherdelta. It is like etherdelta that has more issues with it comes to daily transactions too loading the page and even withdrawals. Much better to use good exchange for a security purposes.
Have you been reading about the latest issue of etherdelta's API? It seems to become the main reason how etherdelta becomes a crap right now. But forkdelta was coming with a little increase in the UI.l It's a better response compared with etherdelta. Or I can think if someone behind forkdelta is the developer of etherdelta itself. It looks pretty odd this person can build forkdelta very similar with etherdelta.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My friend thinks raising $150,000 in 14 days is impossible on: February 27, 2018, 11:36:10 PM
I told him I saw an ICO where $60 Million was raised in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately he's using kickstarter as a fundraiser instead of an ICO.

Anyone suggestions on how to get crypto results from a product based fundraise?

The only possible thing to use their crypto to do a fundraiser. The result will be based on the how many people are using it in the future and the demand of the crypto of the fundraiser platform itself.
There is a project that was working on it just like kick ico but it seems there is no a lot of people are using 3rd party platform. They are all still investing in the ico directly.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MEW Safe to use now? on: February 27, 2018, 10:53:31 PM
Recently there was a split between the team behind MEW and a new paper wallet site opened up.  Is MEW still safe to use with a Ledger?
Both are the same the team gets split and created such another similar site just like mew called as mycrypto site. Basically, both of site was using the same system. I'm still using my trezor with mew and all of the things is working smoothly dude. You may need to feel worried about that. It's just about the competition who will be the best ethereum online wallet.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Polymath overtake Ethereum? on: February 27, 2018, 10:51:01 PM
Polymath is all paper idea for now. Their platform is not yet test to see how it will work or to see it in action. The price is going up because they did airdrop not much people got as much as they want so no dump. Until their platform is fully deployed and test. They are not to be compared with eth

Thought this was a great announcement from them: https://blog.polymath.network/introducing-polymath-core-polymath-js-800b80eea9b
Not so great as you said but how dumb OP because he can't see the differences between polymath and ethereum. Polymath aims to build security token market which it's fully regulated. Ethereum tries to build the future protocol based on the smartcontract. It's totally different. This thread is obviously created to shilling polymat. the marketcap doesn't even worth 300 million dollars. This is a joke.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dent might get listed on binance on: February 23, 2018, 05:04:39 AM
Considering the fact that listing on binance worth 1,5ml, - that's a very good chance for a new coin with not a big capitalization to have a place on the biggest exchange. Developers of new coin just can't afford such an amount to spend on these top exchanges. This will have a huge positive impact on the coin price.

Are you sure, about the figure you quoted above, $1.5 million to get listed on Binance, that is very crazy to me. But i think the reward far out weigh the risk because the huge volume of it is going to drive up the price and it is good for the team also because they too are holding huge numbers of these tokens
I don't even think about the binance exchange site was putting such amount to the new altcoin to be listed on there. Remember binance contains billion dollar volume in 24 hours. It may worth for developer to pay million dollars.
But the fact that wepower still become the number one and then it was following by elastos and the last was zilliqa. Dent will not be listed on the binance exchange site and wepower will be listed asap.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves - is a Scam and fraud!support the petition! on: February 23, 2018, 05:00:09 AM
Why do you keep saying they only distributed 1BCH? Did they ever say how many they'd be distributing. I hold wavesand think it's a good coin but I don't really follow the air drops.

So I'm sorry you lost money and didn't receive as much bch as you were expecting but I don't see anything that shows you were scammed in anyway so you're spreading misinformation about a good project.
The only solution for OP never to try to keep all of his amounts in the waves platform to receive any airdrop, but as you can see the only thing that you can do just like to get the more explanation regarding what already happened with it.
But this will help you a lot for that https://support.wavesplatform.com/en/knowledge-bases/2/articles/9821-bch-airdrop-faq-9-nov-2017
There was only 100 BCH to be airdropped for all of WCT holders. That's why you are only getting a small amount of BCH.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH VS BTC which one will be worth to invest? on: February 23, 2018, 04:53:38 AM
Is suitable to continue to invest in bitcoin? It's future is not clear for us...
What about the ETH? what is the opinion for it?
http://blog.epay.com/c/ethereum_vs_bitcoin_which_one_will_be_worth_to_invest
what makes you say that bitcoin is not clear? Like Father, Like Son! I think father and son of this coin are both very potential for the future. most people would rather invest bitcoin because they know even if the price fluctuates selelu but its profits are very large, some people also invest ethereum because ethereum is good to be made On the second thought. they realize that investing in one place is not good.
essentially both the same and good to invest in especially bitcoin, because the father of all these coins is very influential in the world of crypto.
Bitcoin has been getting a solution to the transaction fees and what's next? I'd expect nothing about that. But it looks the fees back again to the moon https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
Ethereum has so many usefulness compared with bitcoin and it has a lot of advantages such as smartcontract and you can make any dapps based on ethereum platform and what will you do with bitcoin? Nothing.
Bitcoin only as an actual payment method and no more.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western union confirms ripple on: February 18, 2018, 07:13:04 AM
Did you know about litepay?
What're the differences between litepay and ripple made in cooperation with western union? I may think if you are thinking about litecoin can become a competitor to the western combined with ripple right?
The problem is the bank doesn't know about litepay service and then I just curious what will be happening if the bank knows about that.
But the test of ripple by western union doesn't seem a good step.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized exchanger or Decentralized exchanger? on: February 17, 2018, 01:47:23 PM
What do you prefer :

Centralized exchanger like Bittrex,Poloniex, Binance,Kucoin and others
Or
Decentralized exchanger like Etherdelta, Idex, cryptobridge, and others

In my opinion, decentralized exchanger like Etherdelta is very high fees and very slow site load. But, it is safe for trading because you traded peer-to-peer.
Centralized exchanger is high potential scam with Hacked reason

Give me your oppinion

*Sorry for bad English

Not sure about the security on etherdelta because basically you are storing your value on the etherdelta smartcontract and then if you are making any order and the smartcontract will try to execute by sending your transaction to the others who are selling or buying your token.

The best thing about the centralized exchange is it's user-friendly for everyone right now and no more.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between Altcoin and Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2018, 01:45:01 PM
Besides from the spelling, what are the differences of bitcoin from altcoin. Thank you.
Altcoin was building from bitcoin protocol which means it looks an improvement version of bitcoin itself. I remember when litecoin was born from the bitcoin code. Someone was sharing bitcoin code and then the litecoin team and charlie lee made litecoin from there. But remember there will be more and more altcoin with a lot of improvements soon.
Bitcoin still becomes the main pegged value for altcoin.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now we have to do a live video to participate (KYC) on: February 16, 2018, 11:07:28 PM
WTF is up with having to do a live webcam feed to pass KYC to participate in airdrops, bounties and ICO's?  Are you guys actually doing this?  Seems like a huge personal security issue.  I don't even use the webcam to talk to my family let alone some mysterious crypto project that is going to do god knows what with my personal information.

.gov agent sets up project, finds out who is using this new currency that is in direct competition with theirs and now has you on video tape trying to purchase it.  Look up Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi to see what happens when you stop using the central bankers currency.

We as a community should come together to stop this.  Using JPMorgan is more private, secure and less risky than this.  I really see no point in Crypto other than to profit if this is the direction things are going.  It seems as though the movement is being dismantled.
Lol but I'm too, How those people are being so greedy to earn quick bucks from flipping through ico. But ico being so mad to earn money and why they are putting the more restriction to the participants?  This is not normal in my opinion. Look at how more and more new ico or even shit airdrop token putting KYC verification. Is it worth to earn some dollars with our identity? i can say no for that.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest News! on: February 16, 2018, 10:53:30 PM
I was reading today that a single btc address assumed to be a big whale pirchased 400 M usd worth Btc from the dip, now the market outlook has become positiveand we can see good bullish momentum in coming weeks.
Is there a reliable source for that? At least we can see the address that bought 400 millions worth of bitcoin from the dip. I was thinking if that was true and then the whales will try to sell it again next year to make a big bearish and buy in another dip again. But i was feeling curious about the truth of that news. we will see what will be happening soon.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the price of bitcoin and alts at the end of this year? on: February 16, 2018, 10:51:20 PM
I saw some news that Bitcoin will reach 40,000usd at the end of this year and this guy predicts that 90% of Altcoins will fail?? how do you react on this? Will give me some analysis. Thanks in advance Smiley  Check this out: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-foundations-llew-claasen-says-bitcoin-will-hit-40000-90-of-altcoins-will-fail
LOL that guy doesn't even know the truth of altcoin right now. As you can see about the fact that 90% percent of altcoin fail at this time. Only top 100 or 200 coinmarketcap is reaching success. They are making random speculation without trying to do a bit research about cryptocurrency itself. 40k for bitcoin looks real consider the fact that we are on the bullish way.
