I wonder what date is considered to be the first day of campaign, from when the posts count?
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: June 18, 2017, 12:57:44 AM
Bitcoin is future itself. It represents the whole new financial system and it has influenced on traditional finances and changed it forever. So far I think it's obvious that with time bitcoin will become stronger, more accepted and implemented and among digital currencies it will probably stay dominant and the most valuable for very long period of time. It has bright future.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 17, 2017, 07:11:20 PM
I don't think that bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will replace dollar or any other fiat currency. There are no preconditions for that and that would mean that the economy should be turned upside down and everything should change from the ground in the whole world. I.just don't think this is possible.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: June 17, 2017, 07:07:58 PM
Everyone who wants to profit and don't want for the bitcoins to sit idle will invest them. It's risky and you can always lose but it's the only way to have active profit, not just wait to earn something if the price goes up. You can trade, lend or buy altcoins but besides profit be also prepared to lose.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to rethink the way we look at 1 BTC value... on: June 16, 2017, 05:29:43 PM
It's true, 1Bitcoin is not worth equaly everywhere in the world. In poor countries this is a fortune, on.some even more then one year income. And in rich countries people look totaly different at bitcoin price, for some this far less than monthly income, so differences are very big.
For people in poor countries the only profitable solution is to earn bitcoins and that can also help them financialy.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: June 16, 2017, 03:51:49 PM
Bitcoin is money. Ask yourself, is it worth spending time collecting money? Of course it is. As a matter of fact, it's even worth it to collect bitcoin instead of fiat since bitcoin can give you profit by just holding it. If I were rich on fiat and I discovered bitcoin, I surely will convert all of my fiat to bitcoins after knowing all these stuffs going on behind the fiat system and after understanding how bitcoin works.

I can not emphasize enough how lucky we are for being the first million users of this forum. In the future, when bitcoin goes mainstream, the bitcoin that we have right now will be an insane large amount of money.

Exactly. bitcoin is money. This is not like you are collecting stamps or something. If you earn or buy bitcoins and don't spend it than this is like saving and investing. And with time your "collection" of bitcoins will only get biger and more worth, so yes, it's profitable and you can have great use of it.
807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: June 16, 2017, 01:48:33 PM
It's a big loss but you know the best how much you can afford to lose. You are not so experienced and you are probably making a lot mistakes. This is the hardest way to learn trading but the most efficient ones. Don't fall for emotions but if you see that trading is not for you better quit before you fall too deep.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2017, 01:28:50 PM
we can't just put all idea of bitcoin in their faces they are too young to understand what is crypto currencies,, but we can teach them how to save money and hoard some things not money because they can't just hold too much money in their young ages,

They are young but they understand some things better than we do, beleive me. They are Internet generation, they get different information all around and learn very quickly. Maybe kids are not ready and they wouldn't suppose to "play"  with money but teenagers are very skilled. Some are already here on the forum.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 16, 2017, 01:00:47 PM
I'm not so brave to use bitcoins as my main source of income. I don't get it enough and because of big volatility I would feel very unsecure. But bitcoin is for me great source of additional income, something to complete my budget or be my savings. But I know some people who live only from bitcoin income.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin needs to die on: June 16, 2017, 09:06:02 AM
I'm so tired of these "bitcoin death" threads. If you don't like it, don't use it. If you have bad experiences with bitcoin that doesn't mean that everyone does. Like everything else bitcoin has some bad sides that could be improved but still.is has gone a long way and achieved a lot, it represents revolution in finances. And it's not going to die just because someone would like that.
811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Call the bottom on: June 15, 2017, 06:13:26 PM
hopefully back to $800 but I think that is just wishful thinking

I hope this will not happen. And actualy, I.don't quite understand why people whish the price to fall that low. I beleive that the main interest is strong and powerful bitcoin with high price.  Ok, they want to buy at low price but if they want to profit the price should rise again. And  many of them wish one day the price to be below 1000$ and very next day above 3000$ so they could make huge profit.
But the market is not functioning that way.
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: June 15, 2017, 06:05:47 PM
I'd say hold, don't sell. Many users have doubt these days because the price has fallen a few hundreds but I don't think this is something we should be worried about and actualy now it's the good opportunity to buy some extra bitcoins, not to sell them. So try to resist to those who are saying that it's time to sell.
813  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will up. dont worrry on: June 15, 2017, 05:59:14 PM
I'm not worried, this is regular and common phase in bitcoin price cycle. The price will recover and go up again, that is for sure. Now it's the opportunity to buy some bitcoins if you have funds on disposal and also great opportunity for traders to make.the profit. So, smart users they don't panic but make money.  Cheesy
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DAO.Casino - Blockchain Protocol for the Gambling Industry on: June 15, 2017, 05:51:58 PM
The site looks fantastic, great web design. I'm sure it will attract many players also because it has new interesting platforme. I' m sure that developers have done the great job and that the players will have the opportunity for exciting and fair conditions for playing their favorite games.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: June 15, 2017, 03:57:58 PM
Hard to say but at the moment I don't have saved bitcoins. Because of some solution in my life I had to exchange my coins to fiat so now I'm at begininig again. But I have the plan to save certain sum in the future and now I'm looking all the ways to get and earn the bitcoins. Let's say that my target is 0.5 BTC by the end of the year.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Will third world country hold their foreign reserve in bitcoin against Dollar? on: June 15, 2017, 10:06:59 AM
I don't think this is possible.  No government, even in third world countries, don't trust bitcoin that much that it would keep the reserve in it. And for that bitcoin should be regulated and accepted, full implemented in economy and that is still not very likely. And there is big volatility problem so  I don't think any country will go for that.
817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 15, 2017, 10:00:14 AM
Bitcoin still has many issues that stop it from beeing used as fiat currencies, like fees issues, time of confirmation, volatility of price and so on. With time some of these issues might be solved, some not. But I doubt that will be ever so fully adopted and implemented like fiat currencies, bitcoin will always be a kind of "side player".
818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: June 14, 2017, 07:03:26 PM
Without huge investment and starting capital this is almost impossibe to achieve. 1000 bitcoins was very possible for early adopters but today it seems.like.mission impossibe.unless you are ready to invest a lot, take a very big risk and have a lot of luck. Or if you are performing some.illegal activities which I wouldn't suggest.
819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does a trade take? on: June 14, 2017, 06:59:01 PM
You can't become a trader over night and you can't make some profit over night, it takes time. People often think that trading is some method that enables you to become rich very quickly, you just have to buy low and sell high. But things are far more complicated than this and it will take months before you achieve some result.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: June 14, 2017, 06:32:26 PM
Many preconditions for cashless society have already been fulfilled but still it's not easy to transfer our finances just like that. Cashless society would make many things much easier but I think it's in human nature to love the cash and feel it in your hands so many of us wouldn't like to give up the cash.
