801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New In Cryptocurrency on: February 25, 2018, 02:21:03 PM
I think you are better off with investing on an ICO, trading, airdrops, and or bounties. I believe you can hardly make profit of that.

Just do read a lot especially here as I'm pretty sure you will learn a lot and potentially earn more.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Relation between Altcoin and BTC on: February 25, 2018, 08:35:04 AM
It's the first thing that comes out of people's mind when they think of crypto currency or digital currency. A lot of people are ignorant, that's why they correlate altcoins to bitcoin.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good bounty campaign to start right now on: February 25, 2018, 08:13:10 AM
This is someone from a friend. I don't use it as I only try to join one bounty most of the time. This should be useful if you join a lot of bounties.

But, if you ask me. I research on my own and try to find out which are most likely to be worth it.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are ETH's Biggest Competitors? on: February 24, 2018, 11:34:28 AM
I personally HODL ETH as I view it as the top blockchain in terms of what ICO's and projects use. If your opinion(s) out there, who do you think are their biggest competitors in terms of ICO's and blockchain projects?

I have heard that NEO is one of them but I'm curious to know who else could challenge them in that regard.
I think NEM (XEM), and Universa (UTN) are going to be ETH's top competition. I am holding on some Universa as it might become the next ETH, though I want to buy XEM but have no funds to spare at the moment.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: February 23, 2018, 05:11:20 PM
Hey everyone!

I am very new to joining airdrops. I just wanna know if you had experience joining into some ICOs but did not receive your expected tokens? Or what was your first tokens that you received?

My first received token was very rewarding experience, still counting other and tracking my airdrops atm.

Can you share some of your experiences about this matter?

thank you!
Most airdrops are a waste of time and will give me more frustrations than reward.

I prefer bounty campaigns such as signatures as I can give a proper effort and be rewarded nicely. It's exciting and gives me chills every time the campaign ends as I am excited to what the project will be headed.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your trading plan? on: February 23, 2018, 07:42:55 AM
My plan is to take some profits and hold most for long term. Risk is necessary if you don't want to FOMO later on.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The problem with cryptos on: February 23, 2018, 03:27:09 AM
I believe it's just because of what the general public are: fearful. That's why there are only a few successful people, because they fear too much and not have their eyes on what could go in value in the near future. I think the term is "hunter-gatherers."
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC scams on: February 23, 2018, 03:17:27 AM
I have seen evidence of some scams being run under the guise of KYC in order to gain your passport and government issued id's.  Be careful out there and remember that a lot of these coins end up being scams.  Do you really want them having your passport/photo identification?  This is how people fall victim of identity fraud so please think before sending your information in.

Good post! This should be useful for those who think they can just signup on airdrops/ICOs with KYC without repercussions. I never submitted such as of this moment but will do my due diligence to spot legitimate projects that wouldn't do such.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new bounty campaigns out there? on: February 23, 2018, 03:05:22 AM
This thread is for new Bounty Campaigns!

I struggle finding them so let's help each other out.

Share with us where the new or even fairly new bounty campaigns are for altcoins

I hate starting a bounty campaign with little time left to earn tokens enough to my liking

Please share where the newest and best bounty campaigns are!  😉👌
Check this board and find on the column where you can see the number of posts and date and you'll probably find what you are looking for. Good luck!
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin bleeding. When does it stop on: February 23, 2018, 02:10:00 AM
Bitcoin reached already Resistance at 11.6k and failed for now. Can we predict an Altcoin recovery as soon as bitcoin corrects to 10k ? oR do altcoins recover first if bitcoin is stabilized?

I actually do not know if i should hold btc or buying cheap alts or waiting till alts start to recover.

i would appreciate an experienced answer.
I don't think it failed and even though, I still believe in it as a good long term hold. There's no stopping bitcoin, only a few disruptions.

Do you know what this address is about? Ether and Tokens are just pouring in.
It could be an exchange wallet address, a mass scammer/phisher or just a rich personality. The crypto space has so much to offer and one can have that wallet address anytime soon.

Is anyone here from Acorn officially who could confirm us that Bounty is over?
Check my comment here. Someone said it's already over, he said he was working with ACORN. I hope it's true or anyone can confirm this will be appreciated.

When would the bounty campaign end?
I think not earlier than ICO ends or hardcap is reached, for more info there are devs in telegram acorn collective chat that communicate with each person. Feel free to ask there.
They said they will update the bounty thread but it still isn't.

When would the bounty campaign end?
to mine, if I'm not mistaken - until the end of February, on the first page the information was
Yes, that's what is on the bounty thread but they said the ICO was moved so we should expect changes and wait for it.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: February 19, 2018, 01:33:24 PM
Hi,
I created this topic to probe: What coin do you HOLD in 2018?
HOLD from early 2018 to end of 2018.
I HOLD: BTG, ETH and BNB (Each coin about 3k USD), i hope it will be up to 9k each coin ^^
Holding large sums of VEN, NEO, ATS, and UTN for 2018. Surely a stronghold on my picks as I truly believe they will be big, especially VEN and UTN. And I forgot about ACO, you can see it from my signature. I collect tokens/coins from bounty campaigns as they are surely something that will bring back the memories in the future.

When will be last day of bounty campaign?
Will bounty continue till the end of main ICO?
Same question here but it should have been ended today if we base on OP quoted below.

Quote
The bounty campaign will run until the end of the ICO scheduled for Jan - early Feb 2018.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DogeCoin never go to the moon? on: February 18, 2018, 03:57:52 PM
I think it will never moon but who knows. It was referenced to a meme so I don't expect much about it. Of course, there's a chance, but I'd rather have it as a collection that something for a long term hold.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Travel altcoin or travel agencies on: February 18, 2018, 02:36:14 PM
I have heard of TravelChain. Just seen it back then. It should be about travel.

It's really cool to have altcoins relating to travel as it makes it more convenient perhaps. Are you looking to invest in such?
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram has raised an initial $850M on: February 18, 2018, 02:17:19 PM
That is really huge and I really wanted to participate but it seems like it's got a huge demand and the price is most likely high. I'm excited to see where that one is going to go especially once it hits the exchanges.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did You Just Invest In A SCAM? on: February 17, 2018, 04:12:42 PM
That's a good idea for newbies to avoid scammers. Most people are susceptible to scammers especially those that are just starting out. It's just that people take in too many data or information that's why they'll just invest or can easily be fooled.
