8001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 14, 2018, 11:10:46 PM
I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even exist.
He is existing and this is his account here in forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

It's a mystery to say on who really Satoshi Nakamoto is. But the closest person that others are guessing that he is Hal Finney.

Hal has the first transaction made in the blockchain so that's also plausible and close that he is Satoshi but he didn't admit that he's the creator of bitcoin.
8002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN or ETHEREUM? on: January 14, 2018, 10:54:25 PM
I've been studying about both, but it seems Bitcoin is highly popular among all other coins but the price is already too high... I'm wondering if Ethereum is also a good coin to keep long term investments?
Because it all started and the price of it is higher than ETH. Without a doubt, ETH is also a good coin to hold if you want it to keep as your long term investment.

It's price moved quickly before 2017 ends.

Last quarter of it before it has reached and broken the wall of $1,000. It was only around $400 but look at it's current price, that was a quick pump and I guess it's stable there already.
8003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: January 14, 2018, 10:37:42 PM
If you have taken profit on it already, don't blame yourself and don't regret. This is happening not only to you OP but to every traders that wants to sell what they have.

You should assign some of your coins that's good for long term holding and some of your coins that are good for day trading or short term holding.

I think we all have a version of this story.
Yes we do have the same story and this is the reality, we don't know when a coin will pump or when it will be dumped.
8004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King and Ethereum is Queen , Do you agree ? on: January 12, 2018, 11:39:09 AM
#1 Bitcoin = King

#2 ETH = Queen

Don't need to have any argument on this. We can call any queen that we want. When LTC is also pumping there are traders who are calling it as their queen.

But it doesn't matter if ETH will be the queen of crypto's as we can't deny it's popularity and it's market cap.
8005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe my post last time? on: January 12, 2018, 11:29:31 AM
Mate you have edited that post today forum time at 8:57 AM so how we would believe on what you'd said?

But I'm surprised on how Ecash pumped. I'm ignoring it even though there were some rumors that I've read that everyone should buy it immediately.

It's increase was surprisingly high at +381%.
8006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: January 12, 2018, 11:19:12 AM
Those reports that were hacked or their balance were vanished through their wallets. The only reason that it was gone is because they were phished.

They put their recovery seed / private key / log in details to that fake website or wallet that they never noticed that it was a fake one due to their negligence and for not being aware of this situation.

The solution is buy your own hardware wallet, nano ledger s / trezor or if you have a laptop, download a desktop wallet and keep your details safe, don't connect it to the internet.

And don't ever save those important words on the web.
8007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherscan.io is down? on: January 12, 2018, 10:45:35 AM
Yep it's down.

Etherscan.io is currently offline and should be back up shortly.

Thank you

And it's also on their twitter https://twitter.com/etherscan/status/951520539255881728

and is that why i cant see my tokens on myetherwallet?
Yes, you can't see your tokens because it's down but have you ever tried to log in to your MEW account and check manually those tokens that you want to see?

Anyway you can try this https://ethplorer.io/

where can i see my tokens. ethplorer doesnt show any information. it shows i have no tokens. or any transactions.
Have you inputted your Ether wallet address? Just like on traditional etherscan. If you did then it should show information on the tokens you do hold and the transactions been made. It do works fine for me since I have tried now to check my balance on my wallet since etherscan as of now is not usable. If it does work on me then it should really work on you. Just be sure to put the right address of yours if you do believe that it has a balance on it.

i just sent my tokens on myetherwallet . i was checked on default pcl token. it was there when i sent. but today. i couldnt see in any way. any other websites like ethplorer or etherchain doesnt show any information with my adress.
Okay problem solved mate etherscan.io is now working again. And with ethplorer.io tokens will show too.

Anyway what's your ETH address that you sent those PCL tokens? I'll do the job for checking it out if those tokens were sent to you successfully.

But today everything works perfectly!
Yes just like what I noticed upon getting back to this thread.

8009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you sell your altcoins ? on: January 11, 2018, 09:33:52 PM
Hello everybody , I am kind of new to this world.
I have made some investments in the altcoin , I think I have some good coins wich I can trust more in my portofolio like PRL , Onions , Dubai Coin and in my opinion Potcoin also.
I also have some coins like Verge , Power Ledger , Dogecoin in wich I dont have that much trust but I really just can't sell them , I'm like afraid that they will rise good and I will regret selling them.
I have some coins on my mind wich I will also like to add to my portofolio but it seems like my only option is to deposit more fiat money and buy them also , because I really can't convince myself to sell any coin Smiley.
Do any have this problem, have this fear of selling altcoins before they rise from the buy price , I really can't give up on anything I buy If it doesnt make a huge jump to generate some profit Smiley
You can't convince yourself to sell any coin? Then just keep on holding it and if there are other coins that are getting your attention then you don't have choice but to pick some bucks on your wallet or savings.

If you are scared of selling your coins that you think will increase in the future then reserve it and have trust on those coins. And as you mentioned that you have these coins that you don't have much trust, why not just let go of them.

Emotion will be the worst enemy when it comes to trading. You need to decide for yourself and your choices aren't hard to pick off.

Just deposit with fiat and your problem is done.
8010  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will Bitcoin transations be taxed in all countries in the future? on: January 11, 2018, 09:16:22 PM
Will Bitcoin transactions be taxed in all countries in the future?
I guess so if regulations has come up to this idea and transactions are also covered whether it will be inside or outside the country's jurisdiction, it's up to the government.

And as there are countries that already banned bitcoin and if you are found to have some transactions with it or deal with someone, you'll definitely go to jail.
Laws and regulations are now entirely different on each country since they do have different views or jurisdictions when it comes to cryptocurrencies which same as you said if you got caught making transactions and your country do prohibits it then for sure you would really end up on going to jail. Talking on taxation then its possible but it would be applied for those services who do make dealing or transactions on crpytocurrencies like on those exchangers.
Yes they are different and also they have different beliefs when it comes to implementing those laws that they are applying but some countries doesn't fully rely on other countries law.

When other countries started to prohibit the use of bitcoin, some did followed but mostly didn't.

But when it comes to taxation, this is one of the kind and an exception and for sure others will follow when they have seen it's a good source of income.
Theres no doubt on taxation which they would really always consider that thing even they do either accept cryptocurrencies or not as long they do saw that they can able impose taxes or get money from it then it should be fine but to know the fact that most government doesn't really only rely or see things only on taxation problems on bitcoin but also on other aspect too like anonymity and can really lead up into some serious crime like money laundering or illegal doings.
That's the biggest concern that each government is taking a look for bitcoin for now. They wouldn't advise new investors hop in to bitcoin because of that.

And they keep on reminding their citizens that bitcoin can be used that way but if you'll try to understand the logic behind it. Since before fiat is being used through that concern and they can't even give a single solution on stopping those illegal activities.

Anyway, no matter what happens bitcoin will be taxed if a country starts supporting it.
8011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC OR BCH ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! on: January 11, 2018, 08:56:51 PM
Both will fall for at least 12 months so neither.
Are you sure that bitcoin will fall for at least a year? How it will happen? Do you have any insider or you have your crystal ball that says it will fall?

you probably just want profit so you should just buy xrp..
Nah, if I'm on the position of OP I wouldn't give any interest on XRP. It's being played by it's centralized market.

I wanna buy some bitcoins now that the price dropped but I heard that BCH is gonna explode soon so maybe buying BCH would be better

What do u recommend me?Huh
Just do what will make you feel happy but if you'll listen to us, majority will say go for bitcoin while it's discounted.
8012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 11, 2018, 08:41:20 PM
I was not so interested in investing in Ethereum, but now after seeing the progress , this Altcoin is very promising for the future, now I think I will invest and hold some Ethereum .
The same mind the way I think too. I don't intend to invest to ETH before as I thought $300 - $800 is expensive but look  on it's price, it's already $1,170 and it reached $1,200 if I'm not mistaken.

After being replaced by XRP on it's rank at CMC, it has regain its throne again back. There's a future for ETH and I already included it to my long term stash.

ICO's that are using it is really helping ETH to pump. Most alts now are dropping while it's standing still.

8015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: January 09, 2018, 04:20:02 PM
Doge lives forever lol
It will live forever as it's supply will last forever because of there's no stop with it.

Doge will have a future but that future isn't that clear as it will remain as another coin that will just add to the coinmarketcap.

But it's a good coin if you want to save a lot of fees instead of sending bitcoin.

8017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Wallet on: January 08, 2018, 04:45:25 PM
Most preferred would be myetherwallet.com

And if you can avail to buy your own nano ledger s wallet then just buy it. That's one of the most safest wallet where you can store your ETH's.

Don't store in exchanges if you are holding that much, don't trust them that much.

8019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto currency down :P on: January 08, 2018, 03:08:25 PM
is this the best time to buy now any currency its 8 th jan 2017 and just now seen all cryptos are down ...

Before the only thing everyone knows is when bitcoin is pumping, all alts are pulled down and pushing bitcoin to pump.

But on these days, it's totally different. Almost all cryptocurrencies are down and even bitcoin is down, majority altcoins are not that up instead they are also being pulled down.

It's different now from those early days of checking the market.
8020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 08, 2018, 02:56:13 PM
From the time that this thread was posted ETH's price was around $700 I guess, correct me if I'm wrong on it.

And look what happened now, Ripple has been RIPPED off by ETH if you guys will check out coinmarketcap, ETH has gained it's throne back at #2.

Eth down $200 this morning
Same as a lot of coins

Will they go back up?
The whole crypto market is on blood bath but as expect, it will go up again.
