8021  Other / Meta / Re: Can Jr. Members in Bitcointalk have links in their signature on: February 21, 2018, 09:59:04 PM
Thanks for the updated information, guess we just have to move on with it, and contribute to get to higher status!  I just hope when I finally move to the next status, they won't tighten the rules again to leave me at the almost same limitation... that would be so upsetting!!
If you really need it i think you can use the upgrade option to copper member it could allow you to post a link with hyperlink in signature its just same as member rank..
So if you really wanted you need to donate a small amount..
Just check the guide and use here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote
8022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions - please help! on: February 21, 2018, 08:15:44 PM
What i seen about your transaction according to your post
your transaction almost got 28555 confirmations and 6451 confirmation. You should received it to your exodus wallet.

Do you have any private keys backup from your exodus wallet?
You can try to follow this method how to backup or export your private keys from exodus wallet.
Check the guide here https://support.exodus.io/article/86-how-can-i-view-my-private-keys

Then after you get all of your private keys import them into electrum wallet then check if your bitcoin is there And update here if its solved your issue or not..

8024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The current BTC growth seems abnormal [Late Feb 2018] on: February 20, 2018, 10:29:47 PM
I should agree and its always been happening that includes panic selling.. I believe that there is a big group behind this after the burst drop now its getting pumping.
I don't see any news that could help to increase the price back.. What i see here is Exit pump..
If they handle a large amount of bitcoin when the price was drop at $6k then they are slowly buying just to support the price to increase and leave it to other traders to pump the price until they hit their goal before they sell,. While they are holding a large amount of bitcoin they can sell and get profit that can cause panic selling. So they can buy low price of bitcoin again after that..
Its always happening and i think they are a large group or a rich man that could invest a large amount of bitcoin and sell if the price is high enough..
But for me it is normal movement of the price its just like the same as what happen from the past years ago,,

ps: my wallet is installed on my Iphone.
I search and i found that this is an old bug of breadwallet sometimes result no funds that is why it couldn't sent or getting error when sending.
Did you back up your seed phrase(bip39)?
you can try to restore it in electrum instead by using the BIP39 option when recovering your wallet..
And check if your bitcoin still there..

You can also use this BIP39 tool to get all private keys with bitcoin https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
choose derivation path bip44 for electrum or mycelium and collect private key in import it to electrum wallet..
You can also choose derivation path to bip32 if you wanted to recover it into multibit HD.

I don't use jaxx wallet because i heard a lots of issue about this wallet and maybe its a jaxx wallet issue..
Like the above said better to share with us the TXID to check if its confirm or not or you pay a small fee when sending bitcoin to jaxx wallet..

8026  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone buy from www.antminer-s9.com/ on: February 20, 2018, 06:29:32 PM
OMG antminer s9 for $499 usd i couldn't even found 2nd hand antminer s9 here in my country $499 mostly the price is higher than $2k ..
Everything inside of the site are full of lie you couldn't mine 1 btc per month..

I feel that who posted is the owner of the site and he just wanted to get linked here in forum to increase his ranking in search engine..
I saw this in youtube and no one believes it..
And i also saw this in reddit so for those who read this beware you will be scam..

If you really wanted to buy antminer s9 better to directly buy in http://bitmain.com/

8027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to power on/off L3 and S9? on: February 20, 2018, 06:15:04 PM
My guest you receive a defective power supply since you have 3 power supply and the other power supply works fine then the 1 power supply is defective the only thing you can do now is to contact the bitmain support about your power supply then ask them if you should send it back to bitmain to replace a new one or there's other way to work the psu as new one..

I also suspected the cables maybe its not fixed properly from the psu that's why your miner not running. .
8028  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: copay problem 403 on: February 20, 2018, 05:39:54 PM
This is an old issue or bug of copay wallet but i think its a server issue did you tried to update the copay first maybe the old copay wallet is no longer support and disconnected to bitcore..
Try update it..
Hope that you are always backup your wallet before you are depositing in any wallet because if the wallet crash you can recover your wallet in other supported wallet..

I suggest you to wait in 24 hours if the update not work then once its working again better to move to other wallet instead i suggest you to use the latest electrum wallet to hold your bitcoin ..

Edit: Just add this link https://github.com/bitpay/copay/issues/5197
and looks like other user's didn't solve their issue..
8029  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Do I have to back up Jaxx regularly? on: February 17, 2018, 07:31:12 PM
One more question, in case something happens to jaxx wallet, lets say app for some reason stop functioning. Is it enough to have 12 words backup and private and public key back up, or we need to backup private key regularly, i.e. do we have to backup private keys after new transactions occurs?

I currently mine zcahs, and I'm using jaxx for payments from the pool. After generating t address I have done back up of 12 words, and private and public keys, so my question is do I have to backup keys again after few months time or is it enough that I have done initial backup.

12 words seeds and private keys is always important to backup.. backup private key regularly is recommended if the wallet is always generated but if not auto-generated backup them once is enough..
I heard many users having some issues and problems about using jaxx so i think better to switch to coinomi wallet.. Since we are same mining zcash i recommend you to use conomi wallet my best option to received mined zcash and use to other cryptocurrency. as wallet..  Just always make sure to save the 12 words seed and private keys for future wallet recovery.
8030  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Not sure if this is specifically an RPC problem or code change... on: February 16, 2018, 11:56:00 PM
Maybe this one could help recently updated 13 days ago.

Just test them first because never tested it..
8031  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I still claim my free Bitcoin Cash and/or Bitcoin gold? on: February 16, 2018, 11:26:35 PM
You can be still redeem it there's no expiration if when you planning to redeem your bitcoin cash or bitcoin gold..
Just always make sure that if you are planning right now to redeem your bitcoin gold and bitcoin cash make sure to transfer your bitcoin to a new wallet before you redeem your bitcoin cash or bitcoin gold..
then just backup your private key from your bitcoin core wallet using this command in debug console

Code:
dumpprivkey 1yourbitcoinaddress
After that restore this privatekey in official wallets or import it in coinomi wallet and after that you check your wallet or refresh your bitcoin gold or bitcoin cash should be in your wallet..

bitcoingold core wallet check it here https://bitcoingold.org/downloads/
For bitcoin cash check their official announcement thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2040221.0
You can see the list of bitcoin cash wallet but mostly other use electron wallet to redeem their bitcoin cash. .
8032  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay any insights? on: February 16, 2018, 08:54:18 PM
@OmegaStarScream  I was wondering about the "store all coins in one place" policy they have, and exchange services.
 Anyway, I had second thoughts.
I believe its suicidal to have all your eggs in one place, mostly when we are talking about money. A lot of money.
Same feeling gave me this new ICO https://ico.savedroid.com/
They claim they will handle EVERYTHING in one place: Wallets, exchanger, etc. They just dont tell you how, or how secure it would be.
Either way they can offer me Pentagon security, and I will NEVER have everything in one place.
Besides that is just the definition of CENTRALIZE, and it defeats the whole crypto movement.
You don't need to be worry its not the same as ICO's well to me i am using this when i was selling and i wanted to be automated when selling services and products online the good thing here  bitcoin payments could be directly to  your bank account every business day base on their settlement page..  https://bitpay.com/docs/settlement
And mostly bitpay are use by many well known company.
And its easy to use and easy  to launch on wordpress if you are planning to sell something in your wordpress blog you can just add their plugin and follow the instruction..
This is good for newbie seller or merchant..
8033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help! Electrum wallet new adres! on: February 16, 2018, 08:11:16 PM
Hey guys. I have a problem. I have a electrum wallet wich i had to restore from my seed. Now is my public addresses/wallet adress changed. The one which i mine at the zclassicdonation pool to get btcp is gone.. I have like 20 new adresses but not the one that i use for mining.
Is this a problem? And how can i check if the adres is known by electrum. Can i retrieve this one in my wallet? Or does someone know if i can change my adres at  zclassicdonation pool.

Can please some one help me. I dont hope that i mined the hole time for nothing.

Greets
Are you  talking about ZCL zclassic? Where did you create your wallet before and get your seed? Maybe there's a compatibility issue about the seed and the electrum zclassic wallet that is why you get other wallet when you restoring your seed in electrum..
Let me ask if you made your account here https://zclassicpaperwallet.com/ and use the multi signature..
and Z addresses is mostly had bug issue but if you using T addresses your mine coin should be there..

Much better to ask it in their announcement thread so that you can get best answer about your question i mine this coin last month i stop because the price was drop last week ago.
try to ask it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1671982.0
8034  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: TREZOR or Nano Leadger? on: February 15, 2018, 09:34:04 PM
I heard trezor HW is hackable base on what i heard before but they already fixed it with the latest firmware until now never heard any issue again..
The good thing in TREZOR HW they can block all keylogger this features not included in Ledger nano but as of now i never heard a major issue about ledger nano S like they said more altcoin and ERC20 token are supported than TREZOR, Only few advantage of use of 2 hardware wallet but for me if you wanted me to choose what wallet i wanted to use i think i'll go with ledger nano S because people still not experience to hack their ledger nano s wallet..
8035  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: anyway to import wallet from block.io? on: February 15, 2018, 07:18:00 PM
I think you can import your wallet from block.io since your wallet is multisig wallet this is one of the hardest thing to recover because if you use the mnemonic seed BIP39 to electrum in standard wallet you can recover only the p2pkh address first symbol(1) but the p2sh address start symbol(3) not included..

But if you really wanted to recover it to your electrum wallet the only thing that i know is to recover and import it into electrum using mnemonic seed that you got from block.io..
But this part is hard because you need to use some tools online but i don't know if its safe there are many members here recommend this tool but i really don't know if its safe or not you can try it in your own risk..

Or you have to manually or otherwise extract the private keys from your MultiBit HD wallet/seed...

Automated (but technical) method requiring use of python scripts: https://github.com/HardCorePawn/multibit_recovery

Manual method:
- Create offline version of https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/
- Put in your MultiBit HD seed
- Set Derivation Path -> BIP32
- Set Client = "MultiBit HD"
- Copy all the address/private keys (click show more until you are sure you have more than all the addresses you ever used)
- Set Client = "Custom" -> Set Derivation Path = m/0'/1
- Copy all the change addresses/private keys (click show more until you are sure you have more than all the addresses you ever used)

Once you have all your private keys:
- In Electrum -> New/Restore -> Standard Wallet -> Create a new seed
- Once wallet is created, "Wallet -> Private Keys -> Sweep"
- Paste in all the private keys you got from automated or manual method

You should now have all your coins in an Electrum HD Wallet.

You can only get the private key which is p2pkh addresses that include you bitcoins just skip the multibit hd from the method ..

Why you honestly wanted to import your wallet from block.io? i saw your thread that you wanted to redeem or get your bitcoin gold ..
Note: to do this better to transfer your bitcoin instead to segwit address in electrum it should be a good choice and more advantage than  the legacy wallet..
8036  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: how to claim Bitcoin gold from Block.io ? on: February 15, 2018, 07:03:19 PM

8037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pc crashes with two gpus on: February 14, 2018, 09:50:35 PM
Did you tried to set your fan first to 100% fixed and test if either overheating issue or a driver issue..
Also Did you tried to use MSI burner to overclocked your gpu?
You should also add power connector to gpu 8 or 6 pin cable in the upper side of graphics card..
If its still not working try to change the riser and run your graphics card 1 by 1 for testing and trouble shooting..
8038  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need help with electricty on: February 14, 2018, 09:43:05 PM
I'm going to guess its the difference in power supply efficiencies.  7 vs. 6.3 is only 11%, well within the range of that.

There are 2 hot lines for a 240v circuit. So a PSU rated at 7.8 amps @240v should be showing 3.7 or so on each line, not 7. The 6.3 seems correct for a PSU rated at 15 amps.

Looks like your psu has low voltage output that is why its only showing 3.7 amps instead of 7. Looks like the server psu is not compatible or the server psu you bought is only for gpu mining..
Maybe there is different voltage output or efficiency of the server psu is low.
I suggest you to use psu that recommends by canaan which is sorcerer psu v1 or v2
8039  Economy / Economics / Re: Peer to Peer Exchange on: February 14, 2018, 09:11:51 PM
Localbitcoin is the one that i know peer to peer  bitcoin exchange other than that mostly scam but its a long time that i didn't heard any news about localbitcoin..
As of now i don't want to recommend any telegram or a group for p2p exchange just heard a telegram before with p2p but i don't think it is safe..
You can also try meetups if you are planning to buy you can make thread in meetup section
Also you can do p2p here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
Just always use escrow if you deal to non trusted buyers or sellers..
8040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Mining - 2 x rx 570 or 1 Gigabyte Radeon RX Vega 64 GAMING 8GB Card? on: February 14, 2018, 08:09:20 PM
We can't say that 2 rx 570 will be more profitable than RX vega 64 it will still depends if how much you bought the graphics card.. Look at the price right now of rx 570 its getting increased and i think if you can buy RX Vega 64 in low price you can make more profit with this card honestly base on what i experience RX vega 64 is more higher hashrate in cryptonight unless if you bought it for low price but if you can buy cheaper rx 570 i think around $300-$330 its really cheap and i will say its more profitable but mostly the price is above $400 any brand..
If you really wanted to mine why not Go to Nvidia instead and mine zcash or ZCL this more profitable coin as of now for nvidia cards and nearly come of ZCL fork..

Edit: adding this just to calculate your earnings and when you break the ROI here check this just put price of your hardware and it will calculate how many months you can break your ROI.
