8021  Economy / Speculation / Re: falling at a price of $ 6k on: April 11, 2018, 02:29:16 PM
I follow a bitcoin price prediction forum that says that within the next week the bitcoin price will fall on the $ 6k price range
It's been almost a week and bitcoin is still $6,900+ which is a good sign that bitcoin has moved up for awhile.

this is based on the graph of bitcoin price fluctuations
What is your opinion
My opinion on this one is we shouldn't focus on day to day fluctuation, it's just going to us a lot of stress.
8022  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is making btc price going down? on: April 11, 2018, 03:55:31 AM
I've been observing  the market for a longtime  it’s now about a year .  in your opinion,  what is main culprit of decreasing the price of  btc so dramatically  ?
The whales who are manipulating the price are the main culprit but they are also helping the price to get higher after they took profits.

Are you expecting the price to go up dramatically soon ?
Yes I'm expecting the price of bitcoin dramatically very soon, let's wait for few more days.
8023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your family past incidents effect you? on: April 11, 2018, 03:34:44 AM
My family doesn't really care at all if I'll gamble, they just let me gamble. I'm grown up and they are just supporting me with what I do. What's good here is that I'm the only one that gambles in our family so my parents are good with it and there's no past bad experience from gambling.
8024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: seling or holding your altcoin ? on: April 11, 2018, 01:55:22 AM
Best strategy? There's no best strategy, there's an effective strategy by just buying while your desired altcoin is low.

If you have a good chance to sale your bitcoin at a good price then sell it. But if the price is at the lower level or in a red status and then no other choice but to keep on holding your altcoins.
Today's not a good chance of selling bitcoin. You have to wait further until it reaches back at $10,000.
8025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: April 11, 2018, 01:36:25 AM
I did bought bitcoin during ATH but I don't want to think about it anymore. I will hurt myself with that mistake however, this isn't the end for us. We just have to wait for a little bit longer until the market fully recovers.

Many newcomers make these mistakes. Dont be upset. You have received an excellent experience and henceforth your purchases will be more successful.
Including me and the feeling is there of being upset. We just have to learn from this experience.
8026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money or virtual currency? on: April 11, 2018, 12:15:11 AM
My country is average. They are too familiar with outdated and old technologies.
In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency.
There are places that aren't even engaging with modern technologies. And there's nothing wrong if they treat bitcoin as virtual currency, it is a virtual/cryptocurrency.

BTC does not bring anything to life. They just think Bitcoin investment is gambling, chance, black red.
They are lack of knowledge and aren't totally familiar with bitcoin, bitcoin has even called as scam in some places.

Why do not they look at Bitcoin, ETH or blockchain technology for the present.
You can't force people to look and embrace new technologies.

And you? How is your country?
Crypto's are good but there are people who are using it for illegal things so others who are starting to be enlightened are becoming upset due to it.
8027  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible effect of potential billionaire investor? on: April 10, 2018, 11:59:46 PM
Just before this event, he's been negative on bitcoin, calling it a bubble and etc, but with his sudden interest now in trading with his $26 billion assets, I guess we could probably say that he saw the potential of cryptocurrencies.
I'm not going to doubt any billionaire that said they are negative about cryptocurrency. Jamie Dimon did even said bitcoin was a fraud before but look on what he did. He put hyped just for their own interest and get managed to buy bitcoin while it's very cheap.

How do you think will this affect the market and all the user of cryptos?
It will bring positivity as we are all looking up to the richest people and what they say are gold for us. And if he give advice and says "buy bitcoin" it's positive to us.

Can we expect a price spike in the market then after a while, a sudden downtrend movement again?
I guess so.

8030  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest more of what I don't have (money) on: March 23, 2018, 05:16:38 AM
So motivated to invest. But lacking the funds.
You are motivated but you lack of funds? Then starting gathering some funds, do you have day job where you can use your salary to start investing?

Don't hesitate and rush if you are not yet ready with funds there's no way to start but you can study while waiting for your funds.
8031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: March 23, 2018, 04:54:20 AM
I've seen many exchanges that are advertise through google and even in youtube.
What exchanges are you referring to? I honestly haven't seen ANY legitimate looking service advertising through either Google or Youtube's platform.
I've seen those exchanges that are based in my country.

I can now smell why google started to ban cryptocurrency ads.

8032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50'000 USD to invest NOW on: March 23, 2018, 01:59:54 AM
You can now take plenty of bitcoins with you and the advantage is in your hands. Remember that we've been through a big correction so this can finally be ended for the next months to come. And with your goal of holding for 1 year for sure you can earn more than 100% after that period.

8034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you look at the potential of the project or its price? on: March 21, 2018, 05:24:46 AM
I have noticed that many investors are buying during ICO but not because of long term or they want the project.
The main reason and spirit why ICO's are being done to support the goal and aim of that project is becoming gone. That's why ICO's now are becoming a way to make devs more money by just creating ideas, ideas that aren't going to be executed after collecting much money.

8035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Below $500 on: March 21, 2018, 05:14:14 AM
It's up again $585 so for those who bought during $500 then you got $85+ in profit if you bought one but the more the merrier.

When ETH dropped its value some are having trouble with their minds and thoughts
Not only with Ethereum but there are many who are putting themselves in trouble for thinking too much. You'll see these people mostly the ones that are holding bitcoin.
8036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: March 21, 2018, 05:02:35 AM
There's no doubt that the Bitcoin is the Mother of all the Coins out there.
Mother, father, king or any title will do.  Grin But only one thing, yeah there's no doubt that bitcoin is the foundation of all crypto's.

And because of that it is also the pioneer in cryptocurrency the most trusted one and the best among the rest. Try to search in the Internet for more info.
It's the starter of the crypto market and as a pioneering it gathered a lot of investors and this is now the start of financial revolution that will breakthrough fiat system so it's the reason why it's price is so high considering the supply of it which is only 21 million.
8037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: March 21, 2018, 04:42:54 AM
The reason is because their companies were being used by the advantage takers who are scammers. And this is why they are trying to ban crypto paid ads, they are not literally banning the whole concept of cryptocurrency but they want to ban the paid crypto ads because of these scams. Twitter ban is just a rumor and there's no update yet about it.

Yeah, this is kind of misleading news that cause people on panic. Well, all I can see in crypto ads is just a pure ICO and most of them are just a scam so better that thing to be shut off. One day, I know those big companies will finally use this kind of technology and who knows they might create their own token so for me don't panic about this news.
I think even useful ad like crypto trading exchanges that are also using them to advertise will be banned as well. I've seen many exchanges that are advertise through google and even in youtube.

If we look at the bright side, facebook and google banning cryptocurrency might bring better impression on cryptocurrencies
This already gave bad impression for cryptocurrencies so there's no bright side that way. Maybe there are some but this isn't that side.

Nice list Dave the only one that I'm familiar with is the water project. I can remember the name but I haven't donated yet. So far I don't know any other charities that are accepting bitcoin the rest that are only scams who are hiding in some sort of charities but doesn't really help the others.

Good luck on finding one!
8039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: March 21, 2018, 04:05:01 AM
Bitcoin is an alternative investment if you don't have gold. Choosing bitcoin vs ethereum is like you are comparing apples to oranges. No matter what others will say bitcoin is different from ethereum and so ethereum does. As an investor I will choose on where I feel secured and I think that is with bitcoin.
8040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: March 20, 2018, 11:38:19 PM
If the market cap of cryptocurrencies will reach trillions then this is possible and by that moment bitcoin can be $100,000 - $200,000.

Very nice it will boom soon
As bitcoin booms, ETH and the rest of altcoins will boom too.
