8781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 13, 2017, 11:15:16 PM
If teaches us that not all the time you will experience good things in life. For example playing in dice games, there will be times that you'll win for consecutive times but after that you will not experience with it again. Also it will teach us not to be greedy because the greedier you are the more lose you will get on it.
8782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which coin is best for tradding??? on: June 13, 2017, 11:02:17 PM
I have watched a video about Dennis Rodman's fly to North Korea and meet Kim Jong Un. And it's clear on that video that he is wearing a t-shirt with a logo of "potcoin" I understood it immediately that it is an alt coin. With his advertisement maybe that coin will pump and can attract a lot of traders. But it's main used will be for marijuana businesses, it's illegal in our country so I'll stick to ETH.
8783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: June 13, 2017, 10:50:45 PM
No, I don't trade at multiple exchanges. But I have a lot of choices, what I do is if I'm not satisfied anymore with the current exchange I use that is going to make me jump from others. But today I'm currently good with the exchange I use and it's very convenient to me, I don't have plans now of using other sites.
8784  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 13, 2017, 10:40:16 PM
Perhaps because bitcoin is more futuristic digital money and makes bitcoin an attractive money and a great breakthrough for payment tools.

It's being predicted that will be the future money and transactions will be through bitcoin online. There's a lot of difference from using cash and bitcoin, I will still depend and use cash as it is an important tool for living in every country. Just use them both and if you think you can live all along with pure bitcoin transactions stick with it.
8785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 13, 2017, 10:26:23 PM
I have used low fees without many problems, sometimes to my surprise the transaction gets confirmed within a short period, some others I've had to wait days for them to confirm. On a couple of occasions after waiting forever, the tx were discarded by the network and the bitcoin returned to my wallet.

Before, I'm setting my transactions at the lowest priority and fees today are really high. I did experience to wait for almost 20 hours before my transaction gets confirmed because the fee is only 0.0002 BTC. I have seen people paying .001-0.002BTC just for their confirmation gets faster. Hoping this will fixed soon.
8786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: June 13, 2017, 10:19:52 PM
Trading is still profitable than gambling where every traders knows about this thing. but others even they know its profitable why they still go in gambling? it is because they want an instant millionaire because they are luck dependent.

It's a fact when it comes to profit power, many will still dependent to trading. But gambling is also a good way to earn not by the usual way of gambling but you can invest to different casino's that are allowing people to deposit to their bankroll. The profit is not that high for small investors but if you've got a big load, you'll receive justifiable profit.
8787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: June 13, 2017, 09:57:22 PM
Even knowing some people just gamble for fun, in the end the expectations is the same to all, to reach the profit, soo in the general no one does gamble without taking those into consideration. I do have pleasure sometimes when i gamble, and the result for me doest matter since the ammount is very tinny.

I have also the same thoughts for most of the people here are gambling for profit. We have our certain reasons why we gamble for profit. We want to be financially abundant so that we can buy everything that we want and we think in gambling that's going to be a good thing and it can be an easy way of making money.
I doubt very much that gambling was for someone way of earning money. The majority of players lose their money. You can only talk about the hope of the earnings and the pleasure of risk. Someone can spend money on extreme sports, someone gets the same adrenaline in the casino.

The concept of gambling for profit is very normal and why you would gamble if you are just gambling for fun? The logic starts there, why they won't fight for their money if there is a chance to win while having fun? And those examples you had mention if they just want to have fun, they can go with other hobbies.

8789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is winning the Race - Bitcoin or Paypal? on: June 09, 2017, 05:09:24 PM
There is no race cause both serve different purposes, some people seem to think bitcoin is competiting against USD, others say its against paypal and others still think its against gold. In reality everything has its own purpose and none can replace the other.

Yeah I don't understand why people are keep on comparing bitcoin and paypal. They are both providing good service to all of us and yet they are different in terms of accepting payment or processing money. Bitcoin is for bitcoin and paypal is for USD transactions and directly depositing to our bank accounts.
8790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: June 09, 2017, 04:36:25 PM
I fear too... any problem on BTC don't have a solution until now.... But I believe,, the blockchain and Bitcoin have a big solution for this case... cause BTC and blockchains so soon if death, beside of this case Bitcoin and Blockchain is a good technologi for future financial,  Undecided Grin

I'm also aware with these problems that can give investors doubt on investing with it. Companies can just adopt the blockchain technology and if there will be no solution for these problems on bitcoin for sure we will see a lot of people to adopt and migrate to some alt coins that is next to bitcoin. But I think if many will migrate there, the same problem will be experienced.
8791  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: June 09, 2017, 04:05:41 PM
You can earn bitcoin as much as you want if you are lucky in gambling that 0.1 BTC is so easy to get if you are lucky as i said. but if you want to gain more profits in safety way try to play in trading,,, exchange some coin their.

Why you will gamble if you want to earn decently. You might lose what you earn in some other places and why you need to gamble if there are a lot of ways that are exposed already by everyone here. I don't think there is still a secret to earn this amount weekly.
8792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: June 09, 2017, 03:50:25 PM
I prefer to you to just hold your btc. Do not sell it in this era. Sell it in near future. That is a very good action that I know you wilk do. The value of the btc is still rising and think about it if you sell it near future.

I will also prefer to hold it, if you can endure and you still have enough cash for your daily living there's no need to sell your bitcoin. Because the longer you will hold bitcoin the bigger value you can get with it. And look on the progress of bitcoin's price that keeps on increasing so you can have an insight that bitcoin's price movement is positive.
8793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: June 09, 2017, 03:34:57 PM
For me it's not the best strategy because I can trade my bitcoin in an exchange with other Crypto coins and make more money faster than holding it. That's what we call "velocity of money". I don't like hoarding anything including bitcoin. I love my money to working for me fast.

How about those people that doesn't prefer to exchange and they are satisfied by just holding their bitcoins through their cold wallets or any storage they prefer. They are saving a lot of time and they are busy with other things so for me holding is a good way to make money and you will see it's good result in the future.
8794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: June 09, 2017, 03:20:02 PM
I think there are a lot of people gambling under the legal age. I believe that it's going to be hard to control that access online gambling sites just because when using bitcoin as the currency, there are no verifications needed.
yes there is no doubt about that fact that  there are a lot  teenagers who are playing gambling and specially though online gambling, where they do not have any restriction, so the number of teen age gambler will be more in online world.

There's no rule about the age limit on gambling sites so teenagers are free to gamble in any online casino they wish to play. And even in real life there's a lot of teenagers who learn gambling at a very young stage. They sports bet with their friends so that's another way for them to gamble while they are young.
8795  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: June 08, 2017, 11:08:45 PM
I could see this thread 10 years from now with people saying..."my biggest bitcoin mistake was selling at $2800-$2900."    How crazy would that be?

So many people got in at the right time, but then sold at an all time high of like $250, and then $500, and then $1200, instead of holding long...

I did that with ETH.  Got in super cheap, still made a good profit, but not nearly what I would have had now obviously...

The same regrets, I have my worst decision that was made for selling it lower but I'm pretty sure there were so many holders out there before that sold a lot of their bitcoins at lower price. In my case, I sold few of my holding earlier and though I regret it. I learned from it and I will keep on holding until the day of bitcoins price skyrocket.

Basically anyone that has sold at any point in the past short of $2910 or whatever the ATH was...currently regrets it.  Nobody can time it perfectly so obviously the best strategy is just to sit on the coins for the long haul, unless you need the money to pay for living expenses or something like that.

Seriously every single time I have sold a coin of any type, I have come to regret it.
With the current price I can say that $2,910 is already a big amount and there's no regret while you can see the range of price at that moment. But when it is starting to rise up just like what eveyone is expecting, regret is starting to get inside your mind.
8796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: June 08, 2017, 10:51:38 PM
I'm a lazy investor and in that case I will probably let that amount invest to bitcoin and will just hold it until the price gets higher. By that way, I will be no longer going to think on how I will grow it in the future.
holding bitcoin in present time is a good and wise decision, but I think 500$ is not such a good amount to hold wait for the price to increase. I think even after a long long time you will not get a satisfactory income for which you are waiting, therefore to me I think it will be more profitable to find a cheep but potentially good altcoin and invest your 500$ there. and hope that if the price of such altcoin goes up it will give you a decent income.
It is good to hold but that's one of the thing that you need to understand. $500 may not be big or good amount to some people but for those people that are in third world countries this is already a big amount. And its hard for them to decide whethet they will invest or not. So if you are in that state of thinking much better to hold.

8799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: June 07, 2017, 09:24:17 PM
The transition fee is a big issue and it is not advisable to make small transactions and daily payments otherwise you will be losing a lot to transaction fee. To my best of knowledge this fees are what miners feed on. And it is needed to sustain mining.

Small transactions will only eat your balance payment and it's not worth to do so. I have some micro earnings and I don't decide for it now as I know it will only goes to the miners fee. The fees today are considered high but it's because of the demand and if waiting is not an issue to you, just set it to minimum fee.
8800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: June 07, 2017, 09:15:20 PM
Control greed on gambling really very tough.you need to setup your target how much profit or loss after you stop and you should obviously strict on that target.gamble how much can effort.better to stop gambling.I never seen  anyone win on gambling continuous.if you are addict on gambling you must lose all your investment.
Yes, although gambling are just games but there are no wrong when play gambling, we must have rules on play gambling, include money management, risk losing management on play gambling games. Stay follow on the rules that has been made and  always  dicipline will control feel greed on gambling games.

You need to be good in money management if you are a gambler, that will be your indicator if you are going to keep on moving or you need to stop for awhile. And as your goal is to control your greediness, you need to have the full control on your money as you can't gamble without money Be tight when holding your money.
It's not just gambling that you need money management from, normal people need that. Some people tend to spend their money on things they do not need or need yet, instead of using their money in more important matters, they just spend it on themselves. Not all people are like that and probably some do manage, some don't. It's the discipline that you need, in the day to day lives, not just in gambling.

It's another factor that you need to spend your money for those important things only but it's out of being greedy. Being greedy is something you want earn badly even you know what will be possible outcome of that move. Discipline yes it's needed, it's what everyone need and you can have control if you have it.
