8041  Economy / Economics / Re: The market starts looking real nice in Q2, 2019 on: April 10, 2019, 04:05:10 AM
yes agree, Q2 2019 crypto market will look good than the month before. there is a lot of good news like BAKKT, NASDAQ, SEC that will accept bitcoin. Prediction experts like Botjoe, The Wof also said Q2 was the beginning of a bull run.

Any source about this? Afaik Bakkt and the gang is still unclear, there is no definitive on when they will start their services, so I doubt the recent bull run has any relation to that. I personally believe the sentiment for this is not as strong as before, so any news about them, unless it is explicit such as Bakkt will start trading tomorrow confirmed by SEC will affect the market in any way.

Pretty sure Q2 will be better than Q1, especially with the halving sentiment rising steadily.
8042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to distinguish Token with Coin ? on: April 10, 2019, 03:40:51 AM
Technology
+ A coin type needs to be developed with its own storage wallet. Transaction fee will be deducted directly from that coin.

Even though it is rare, some coins use a different kind of coins as the gas. For example, ACM (GCOX) requires you to hold/spend APL if you want to send ACM, which is annoying for some kind of people.

Keep in mind that some wallet use the tokens itself as the transaction fee, such as Bitberry (only support several tokens).

Bahkan kalau agan pakai hardware wallet kan disuruh catet seednya dulu. Agak aneh sih kalau mau make USB wallet tapi ga punya backup.
8044  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: ELECTRUM - BITCOIN WALLET on: April 10, 2019, 02:50:09 AM
Ada rekom desktop wallet yg support seqwit om? Tadi sempat jajal Greenwallet sih, tapi kurang sreg dlm menggunakannya.

https://bitcoin.org/id/pilih-wallet-anda

Salah satu alternatifnya bisa make Wasabi om.
8045  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Mengenal istilah - istilah dalam dunia CryptoCurrency Part 5 on: April 10, 2019, 02:44:35 AM

8046  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Current Singapore bitcoin exchange options? on: April 10, 2019, 02:31:29 AM
I use Luno several times. Though you don't own your crypto because they're the one who has your private key, I think they're a good alternative to buy/sell/cash out. Just remember that if you want to store your Bitcoin or another crypto, move it asap to your own personal wallet.

However, if you don't like KYC, your option is limited. Almost every crypto exchange that has bank relations requires KYC.
8047  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Berbagi pengalaman on: April 10, 2019, 02:21:25 AM
guys....
Menurut saya apa gak sebaiknya thread ini dimerge ama thread ini? [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst.

Jadi bisa via pm aja next time.
8048  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Pandangan negatif terhadap para pengguna crypto on: April 10, 2019, 02:11:05 AM

Situs Forkdelta Palsu

Alamat: forkdelta.io
Status: Sudah diblacklist oleh Metamask, tapi Google Safe Browsing masih belum.
Saran: Gunakan Metamask kalau agan sering mengunjungi forkdelta biar ga kena phishing (sekalipun metamasknya ga ada addressnya/kosongan).

8050  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Ada yang tau bagaimana cara bikin flashdisk biasa jadi hardware wallet? on: April 09, 2019, 12:08:14 PM
Menurut saya hardware wallet bukanya sangat bersiko yah... Apalgi flashdisk mau jadikan hardware wallet.

Walaupun kita make Samsung S10 kalau passwordnya tanggal lahir ya sama aja.
8051  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Lost my bitcoin after I have installe electrum 4.0.0 on: April 09, 2019, 11:58:46 AM
ok I have just reinstalled this version. Can I do anything to recover my bitcoin?

You can't do anything, period. The only thing that you can do from this point is to ensure your computer is not infected with other viruses/malware which could potentially steal/hijack your clipboard. Do a clean install or wipe your hard disk if you can't be sure that there is no other malicious file except that Electrum file that you've just downloaded.

I feel sorry for your loss, please be careful next time and always verify the signature of every file that you downloaded from the internet.
8052  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: No need to look for Exchanges anymore. on: April 09, 2019, 11:44:17 AM
There are still so many altcoins that are listed on sites like Hitbtc, Kucoin etc and these sites don't require KYC but those sites that required KYC have almost no trades going on and sites like Liqui that were famous back in 2018 have shut down. If they partner with exchanges like Binance and Coinbase, it would be better as they are reputed and safe.

I'm pretty sure they went insolvent because they didn't have enough volume, not necessarily because they implemented KYC. Coinbase also requires you to do KYC, don't they?

I think they won't be able to partner with Binance or something similar because most centralized exchange requires creating an account, while Changelly and the rest use swap (you send token to an address, receive another token in return).
8053  Economy / Services / Re: Help me with this machine language problem. Get paid BTC in return. on: April 09, 2019, 11:32:29 AM
I'm not sure if this is the correct board to post about this. You should move this to Services board, it should increase the exposure and definitely attract interest from those who might be able to do this job. Beginners & Help is more about introductory thread or guidance thread for new members or newbie in crypto.
8054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen in the new bullrun without the past huge power of Tether? on: April 09, 2019, 07:04:45 AM
If Tether was really used to manipulate the market (like what some reports suggest) then the next bull run should be more mature. I think even if Tether dead at that point, there's nothing to be afraid of as people can still use fiat or something similar to buy Bitcoin, which in turn still increase the price. As to what extent the next bull run will be, I can only think that it should at least touch the previous ATH.
8055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto news Sources on: April 09, 2019, 06:49:01 AM
Afraid that you will lead into sh*t ones? No worry, it was filtered. That's what Google worked on why they are one of the reliable search engine in the world.

I'm afraid Google won't help that much. For me, Coindesk, CNN and so on is not a really good news site. But where do they show up on Google?

IMO just read as many articles that you can find, sometimes the truth lies in the middle.
8056  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CASPEND - The next bitcoin marketplace ! on: April 09, 2019, 06:42:19 AM
Urge the ICO directories to ask for this.  Don't use the directories that just accept any listing.

Not sure if there is any ICO listing site that does this, or wants to do this. One of the reason is that the ICO team don't have it or they don't want to make it public because it's "company secret".

Hell, I even found a project that doesn't want to tell how many tokens are exactly in circulation.
8057  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-06]The Next 4-Year Cycle in Bitcoin is Underway on: April 09, 2019, 06:19:31 AM
I was a believer of this 4-year cycle thing, but I no longer think it as a foolproof theory anymore. Got rekt hard last year so I'll stick with money management where I save some profits and calculate how much the cost and risk to hold for years.

I'd be more into attributing it to halvings above all, and both halvings had a bubble after they took place. As it stands this cycle so far is matching the previous one. Obviously that could diverge at any moment.

Those bubbles seem to keep reappearing after the halving finished. So it seems there are some "cycle" too where halving is the center of that cycle.
8058  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-08] Bitcoin Fever Driven By Stocks 'Pessimism' As Global Debt Hits $243 on: April 09, 2019, 05:59:57 AM
I also believe the recent mini bull run on Bitcoin was based on technical analysis only. No big fundamental changes, just chart looks ok and some people fomo in to get more. Maybe they hope or believe in the halving theory that is due to happen in the following years. Some people even suggest that Bitcoin should reach $62k after the halving, and another one said $100k. To put it simply, everybody looks optimistic for the halving.
8059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-04-07]Blockchain Accelerator is Rolled Out for Juventus on: April 09, 2019, 05:50:21 AM
If I remember correctly, this is actually an ICO project called Chiliz. They claimed to have made/build a partnership with Juventus and PSG to release their fan token on the platform (saying that with those tokens fans can influence the team decided on marketing, and so on).

Binance was rumored to be one of the giant behind this project IIRC.
