8043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Whats happening at Poloniex? on: February 12, 2015, 07:08:25 AM
Just want to relay my recent experiences with Poloniex

I lost access to my registered email address at Poloniex a few months ago. I had email link requirement ticked, for any withdrawals. I therefore have access to the account, but cant withdrawal anything.

On 2nd Feb i sent a message through Poloniex to advise what i need to do to resolve. On the same day, i was told it would be 'escalated'.
For 4 days i hear nothing, so on the 6th Feb, i sent another message through Poloniex, and i sent a message to Busoni via this forum. The next day (7th Feb), i receive an apology for delay from Poloniex, and asking for more details of my problem, which i replied to that day.
Two days later, on 9th Feb, i am asked to supply screenshots of my account and IP address. I replied that day with requested details.
Its now 11th Feb and ive had to send another message through Poloniex, as its all gone silent again, not only from Poloniex, but Busoni has also chosen to not reply to my three messages via this forum, despite him logging in.

Ive always trusted and respected Poloniex/Busoni, but for me, its big red flag time. Nearly 10 days to sort out this relatively simple issue is questionable at best, or something very wrong, at worst.

@Busoni  I would like access to my funds today, or is there other issues to consider here?

how can you lost access for your email address?
have you tried to use forgot password feature for your email address?
try to ask for mod help there i guess
8044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why CEX listing wrong pair? on: February 12, 2015, 07:06:52 AM
Why is CEX listing Virtual Coin as VCOIN, it symbol is VC & not VCOIN.

Amount will be 10 VC & not 10 VCOIN

https://c-cex.com/?p=vcoin-btc

It should be
https://c-cex.com/?p=vc-btc

try to contact them via support or ask the mod , since you will hardly got any answer just by posting here

7. How is the profit achieved?
As previously mentioned, we are the group of professional traders and skilled analysts with valuable experience in the sphere of cryptocurrency. Once your transaction is confirmed (it takes from 10 minutes to 1 hour to get confirmation from the network), your investment will appear. Please be patient. Contact our customer support if your investment is missing after 1 hour.

12. Can I make additional deposits to the addresses given in the third step?
Yes, there is no limitation. You can make as many deposits as you want to the addresses given in the third step.

13. Why is my deposit amount underlined different to payout amount?
Underlined amount means that you can see the transaction id of the payment by clicking on it. The deposit transaction id is available when you made an investment. The payout transaction id will be available after processing of the payout.

14. 98 hours have passed, when will you process a payout?
The payout usually takes around 10 minutes. In some cases the payout could be delayed up to 12 hours, because we need to refill the hot wallet of the cryptocurrency.

Hey wait, I just thought of a third thing that could happen! The price could go up.  Shocked Mind F-ing blown!

i wouldnt dream of this, because at the most i think the price will only vary sideways, but if the price goes up because of this hardfork then it is a mindblown

8052  Economy / Gambling / Re: Suggestion for a new gambling site on: February 11, 2015, 09:41:58 AM
The bot problem could be solved by either a simple captcha, or simply clicking the mouse at a certain spot which after that is moved to another spot on the screen.

some coder are smart enough to code a bot that can bypass all captcha or whatsoever, but the idea is good anyway, greed is the essential problem, if someone think he can manipulate the game or whatsoever then he will thought of a way to do this

You are right, I guess maybe some coders even has bots for input the correct captacha. I don't know am I right or wrong. Cheesy

yep i've seen few bots that are coded to bypass captcha anyway, so if a skill based game is developed, this would be abused , but luck based game is pretty much boring for an unlucky guy like me
8053  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am leaving guys. :( on: February 11, 2015, 09:40:39 AM

8056  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: WeeklyPonzi.com 'v3' | 100% Automated | Secure | 130% Return | 700+ BTC Invested on: February 11, 2015, 09:35:13 AM
I seriously don't understand why people are still playing.  OP has been dishonest from the start about his fee and 2nd week was a real scam.   Then there have been all the payment issues and strange payout order repeated many times.

It's because it works.  The fee calculation is a bit strange, but %6.5(=0.065) is small.

its called greed, because those who deposited faster still gain profit and they dont care whats happen next as long as they get out their money + interest already
why should I worry about people I do not know? People try to make money.

make money?you cant simply say stealing others coins as "make money"
8057  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi247.com | 100% automated | 130% return | starts 15 Feb on: February 11, 2015, 09:31:55 AM
Yawn.. How boring. Direct copy of weekly ponzi. Isn't anyone original anymore?

The script is on gitHub (open source) with some changes: https://github.com/Crypton33/CryptoPonzi   A lot of ponzi sites are using it because it is "free" and easy to use.

well this really explains why there are alot of ponzis that keep spamming day by day, free script for all so that everyone can start their own ponzi like this is giving this boards a bad images
8058  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: February 11, 2015, 09:29:02 AM
Still waiting for the OP to respond to see his next moves.

Well hes clearly not posting here again, with the amount of people commenting...

his intention was clearly to put in some troll as the day of the post was when bitcoins is rising anyway
8059  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin should be re-named to... on: February 11, 2015, 09:26:59 AM
Monicacoin!

It "goes down" so often and for so long. What do you say?

i think this one should be in offtopic , reporting to mod
8060  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 11, 2015, 09:25:27 AM
A lot of people in this thread seem to agree on one thing: Bitcoin rising and rising the next x years.

Why are you guys so certain?

The price has been going down for a year, I think because of the gox shock and some other negative events, but other parameters are promising.

So based on the belief that it is still expanding, the argument is that if someone prefer bitcoin over fiat now, they will do more so in the future, when it becomes more liquid. The expansion feeds itself like a slow explosion.

The persistent problem for the past year is microscopic trading volume and no buying interest to speak of. Unless that reverses for some reason the price will continue plummeting. Obviously. So, itīs the classic question of waiting for the bottom and not be trying to catch a falling knife.

i am one of the guy that are certain about this and i think there is no solid proof about this
we can be reach someday by holding bitcoins or bitcoin could be worthless by x years
