8041  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Samourai wallet - all transactions (and BTC) lost? on: February 14, 2018, 07:45:49 PM
If its still not loading yet you can recover it to other wallet
check this samourai wallet article here https://support.samourai.io/article/7-importing-a-wallet-from-another-app

There are other wallet that you can use to recover your wallet from samourai wallet.. i can only suggest electrum as safest wallet and use the mnemonic seed and restore check if you can see all of your transaction history and bitcoin.. Then if its still there you are lucky now transfer it to new wallet for safety just to make sure your bitcoin are safe if ever samourai turn into scam..
8042  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cryptopia Withdrawl says "invalid zcl adress" on: February 14, 2018, 06:58:18 PM
Hey!

I bought 2 ZCL
i want to withdrawl them to the Zclassic Electrum 1.03 that i have
when im trying to withdrawl from cryptopia it says invalid zcl adress

maybe when i created the wallet i defined it not good?

someone please help
thank you

ZCL its altcoin and electrum  for bitcoin is for bitcoin only. there is a 2 type of zcl address the 1 is starting from t1 sample address t1cfZe9yoqHTQfTcUiirEFi85ioTNHC181G and the other address is starting from z  sample zcC6v4AWLPBHVvnzKn7d1DFp8x1VxQDVqDBmfq5tP4Gwfg5f1UjTUN5ZvRWthz527X4Mn2V5KzoZtiu VtGYAiuiDGwpz2Wr
unlike bitcoin address on electrum legacy 1Fh2GwdSfSDpfB5PpYjscB9u2inCoTmumX and for segwit support address bc1qptg5vvtmwwgn96qgwgalpflqjvxxmvlwmu8529

If you wanted to get it valid you can try to use this wallet https://zclassicpaperwallet.com/
and choose only t addresses because this is always valid and mostly use the z address is not working in many exchanges or even mining zcl in supernova.

You can also ask some good wallet in their official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1671982.0

8044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help in exporting privkeys from multiple bitcoin core wallet.dats and importing on: February 12, 2018, 11:52:38 PM
I did that with 3 wallets for testing purpose.
But it shows in the GUI only the first wallet... what now?

Here you can try this command this time you can export all private keys

Code:
dumpwallet "filename"

sample dumpwallet myprivatekeys
and hit enter
The you can see where it save and you can open it in text file

or you can export it only selected address
Code:
dumpprivkey 1YouRBitcoinaddress

Do this if you wanted only selected addresses to be exported..
For importing you can use this command

Code:
importprivkey [Anylabelyouwant] [rescan=false]

or import wallet from dump wallet you can use this command
Code:
importwallet filename

Hope this works..
8045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Turning XMR into BTC Safely ($100 to first helper) on: February 12, 2018, 10:37:38 PM
thank you guys so much for all of your helpful responses. i am *thinking* that i know what to do, but again am not 100% certain.

the major question i have is if i use one of these platforms such as shapeshift or changelly is it possible someone (such as a hacker or someone that i'm not authorizing could completely wipe out the entire rest of my wallet? it says the max transfer i can do for 1 transaction is only about 40% of what i have in my entire monero wallet.

TLDR

i guess what i'm asking is if someone has any of my wallet information will that potentially compromise my entire wallet?

thanks again for everyone being so helpful.

I'm using changelly to exchange ethereum to other altcoin i stop using shapeshift due to lots of issue and problem about shapeshift but about hacking or authorization to your account i think they only exchange the amount you wanted to exchange and they are no longer access your wallet because they had no any control of your wallet just make sure to always backup your private keys that you can recover to other wallet..

about the warning message from shapeshift you should use the address which is you fully control or you have the private key save anywhere in your pc or written on the paper. .
You can use the open source wallet from their official website here https://getmonero.org/downloads/
This wallet only is for your refund address..

Why not selling your XMR instead in current price in trusted exchanges like poloniex or bittrex or any exchanges support XMR to bitcoin. .
8046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A safe XRP Wallet ? on: February 12, 2018, 10:14:27 PM
The only wallet that i heard and recommended by XRP devs is toast wallet  for desktop and mobile its an opensource wallet which is i think safe to save your XRP.
But you must save your secret key and wallet address for future restoration or recover if you are planning to recover it in other wallet..
You can download or check the toast wallet here https://toastwallet.com/

The safest hardware wallet that i heard is ledger nano and 2nd safe wallet is trezor like the posted above

The safest would be for you to use hardware wallets like say ledger, trezor etc.
If you don't have them you can buy them here :
Ledger :- https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products
Trezor :- https://shop.trezor.io/
You can also use wallets like say electrum, a desktop lite wallet.
You can download it here :- https://electrum.org/#download

I think electrum wallet only support bitcoin not for XRP..
8047  Other / Meta / Re: I got banned, I regret what I did... on: February 12, 2018, 09:15:45 PM
Honestly your account is brand new and its not worth it to recover your account much better to stay use that brand new account..
This is your main account that you wanted to unbanned https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1256457
And i found only 1 post in your account in google which is deleted here in forum..

The chance that you can unban your account is 1% but you can be still try maybe you are lucky today..
I suggest to stay use your new account or make a new account with awesome name. .
8048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What else after this massive dip ? on: February 06, 2018, 11:31:55 PM
I think FUD almost done and right now the price is gaining and increasing back again.. watch the price movement right now https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitstamp/btcusd
Its bouncing back but there are still panic selling and hope soon they realize that price is rising normally..
So better to buy right now while the price still in low price and hold them for a long time just to make sure you make a good profit wait for a long time..
Don't worry about the price drop its always happening every year and i heard not only crypto market are down also in forex market there are massive drop..
So its a normal that we are seeing price drop in few days.. and now should slowly increase back again..
8049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dropping again like a stone on: February 06, 2018, 10:59:25 PM
Another FUD better to go and sell your bitcoin and exit don't push other people to sell their bitcoin because they are strongly holding their bitcoin and they know what happen.. If you are bitcoin haters please go to altcoin and support other coin than bitcoin..

This is another fake news and lier so don't follow this man ..
Watch the live graph of the price here https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitstamp/btcusd
And see if what is the live price of bitcoin right now and  its gaining recovery and increase slowly. .

8051  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: s7 Hash Board Repair Options US? on: February 06, 2018, 10:39:40 PM
I think i found the thread where you can fix the hashing board for s7 check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420909.0
And make sure to read every page because there are some post and images could help you to fix and found what parts should fix or change.
Take note do at your own risk if you are not techy guy better to find some to help you soldering or remove parts from your hashing board to prevent short circuit from the board..
8052  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: AdBlock Killing Blockchain Websocket on: February 05, 2018, 11:30:58 PM
Looks like you adblocker conflict with youur blockchain web why not change your adblocker i don't really safe if your adblocker is not wellknown i am always using kaspersky total security that support crypto and adding plugin in chrome that can block ads so if you wanted you can try download the kaspersky and install and go to chrome plugin and look for kaspersky in chrome plugin and add it then you can enable the anti banner.. This is more safe than using other adblocker.. And i think its also works in smart phone..
8053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awesome! The average Bitcoin transaction fee is now $5. on: February 05, 2018, 10:32:26 PM
You can get lesser than $5 if you use segwit wallet base on what i experience today i pay of almost 0.00015 btc which is $1 and the transaction was fast with 3 more output..
If you are using non segwit wallet expect that you will pay $5 or above and i think this is just because of the price drop and only few bitcoin users right now are still holding bitcoin and the average amount of transaction these days was drop a lot that's why the transaction fees drop a lot and also affected by the price decreased. So i think bitcoin right now is getting back to normal just like before and i still happy what is the price today even it was 60% drop...
8054  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 7K the right price to buy in at a bottom price? on: February 05, 2018, 10:11:32 PM
Not good if you buy under $5k the price was too low and the price was hit almost $6,600 today and i think this is the bottom price of bitcoin..
If you still wait maybe sooner or later the price increase a bit and stay..
After the drop happen today expect that you will heard a good news about china and india about regulation in bitcoin. that can push the price of bitcoin up again..
What i see right now people are panic selling.. they are likely exit in bitcoin investment which is they don't know that this is always happening in bitcoin that the price always falling and gaining back again in few months just like years ago still never change until now..
So if you keep holding bitcoin make sure that you are always ready and hold them tightly and much better to do if you can invest more bitcoin better to buy right now because the price will increase back after bitcoin reach at the bottom. .
8055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain’s S9 January shipments on: February 02, 2018, 11:11:48 PM
Again thanks for all the replies.

I sent a message to Bitmain via this link https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new inquiring about this order. Is this the correct place to ask them since this is not my order?
I think better to subscribe to bitmain directly for me i always receive email notification message from them if they had stocks base on what i receive these days they notified me about A3 miner which is the latest miner they released last month.
If you paid your order from ebay via paypal i think better to ask for refund and buy alternative miner and buy directly to bitmain.. I suggest you to buy the antminer T9+ which is still available..
Since you order last year november its not a normal that you still didn't receive your miner yet because there are lots of november order got their miner same as mine when i was received my miner january from november order..
My guess i think they are running first the miner to get the small benefits and earn profit they send them to buyer. this is just what i think since you said its reputable seller so this is just what i think anything could be possible..
8056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hashrate on cgminer not same as pool rate on: January 29, 2018, 07:01:37 PM
I think slushpool if you are comparing your present hashrate to their dashboard its not inaccurate but base on what i heard its not affecting your earnings..
If you still not satisfied better to ask slushpool in their official thread they can gives you more insight about your issue..
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.22660

If you really wanted to earn higher  i suggest to go kano pool and the pool fee is 0.9% which is great.. they pay higher than other pool base on what i experienced..

8057  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Does the old thermal paste generate hardware problems? How to change it? on: January 26, 2018, 11:18:47 PM
My guess its not a thermal paste issue i think the problem your temp detector is your problem i don't have antminer s4 but maybe it is the same as antminer s7 or s9 try to follow trouble shooting guide from bitmain here https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/220872007-Possible-problems-for-Antminer-Troubleshooting-for-S7-S9-L3-
8058  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum received transaction with 0BTC instead of 0.275 on: January 26, 2018, 11:03:26 PM
According to your address you received the amount 0.275 btc if you didn't receive it to your electrum wallet i think there's a problem about syncing your wallet to the server
Can you check the electrum wallet if the circle in the bottom right corner is red or green?
Also check the bitcoin address carefully. And the other reason that i think that is why you still not receive it to your electrum the transaction fee is too low.
But its should reflect to your electrum wallet your transaction is already 27 confirmation so if you still didn't show the recent transaction from electrum the possibilities are your wallet couldn't connect to the network or you send your bitcoin to the wrong address..
Let me ask if what electrum version you are using?
8059  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: use electrum in windows xp& on: January 25, 2018, 11:50:16 PM
I think the latest version of electrum will work on windows xp try to download it here https://electrum.org/#download
And let us know if its working or not if not the only version of electrum that i know will work with electrum is version 2.6.x
But low version is too risky to use right now due to critical electrum vulnerability here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702103.0
So if the latest version didn't work much better to upgrade your os to windows 7 to be able the electrum could work..
8060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost some BTC when I split my BTG on my LEDGER NANO S - Can Someone Help? on: January 25, 2018, 10:46:12 PM
Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate if someone could weigh in on this.  I'm tech proficient by obviously not enough to understand what
has happened to my missing BTC.

When I used the split tool to create my BTG, I lost some BTC. This is super alarming.
My BTG total is correct, but after the split, somehow I'm short 0.6571644 BTC.

I have never spent any BTC, I'm a super hodler, so where did this missing BTC go?

I can see from my operations history that it was the sum I sent from my Poloniex account way back in July.  I have to
deposits that day, and I have hodled since.

So why would that amount suddenly disappear after I use the ledger split tool for BTG???

I'm waiting to hear back from Ledger Support on this. But it's been over two weeks.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY THOUGHTS... I WOULD BE SO VERY APPRECIATIVE OF THE HELP.

Thanks,

Mark

You did a wrong way what split tool you are using anyway? did you use the btg split tool from ledger nano?
The you forgot to transfer your bitcoin first to a new bitcoin wallet before you split your bitcoin gold..
I hope next time you search first for safety of your bitcoin because sometimes there are tools are fake and scam and there are some other bitcoin holders that wanted to split there bitcoin gold and do the same as you do and their bitcoin also gone the same what happen to you..

Let me ask if your bitcoin gold credited to your ledger nano?  Let me know your public key (bitcoin address where your bitcoin save before you split it in btg tool)
