8041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please help me i want sell all altcoin in less 1 month on: February 05, 2018, 10:33:51 AM
Man, you have a good investment portfolio. You can make a good profit if you stop panicking and wait a few months.
Op is not panicking. He/she is just going to need cash and asks whether it would make sense to wait for another month.
If you badly need the money wait for atleast half month since you have still a month to decide
I suppose this is the best decision. Op should just make regular checks of the market. If it goes down another 15% - I guess the hope for now is lost, time to withdraw the money. However, I do believe that in a couple of weeks the situation can change to a better one, so waiting seems to be a good idea. People mostly panic about bitcoin, but other coins are doing a bit better, I think. They are likely to be bought now when the prices are very cheap.
8042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FUD is good & ETH is the cancer of crypto on: February 04, 2018, 05:00:24 PM
FUD is good because it opens peoples eyes to what insane bubble ETH has become. We need to contact vitali and convince him to destroy ETH then we split the ETH market cap over 1000 dev teams who will work hard and bring real innovation unlike ETH.
The problem is that eth is not the coin that is majorly affected. Look at bitcoin, ripple, iota, litecoin.. They all are good but they have serious price decrease.
Eth haters have been around when it cost $15. They said it's a scam and it will not succeed. Turned out eth wasn't a scam and actually got very successful. And eth is a real innovation. I mean, it was at a certain time. Of course, now there are many coins like it which even improved some of its disadvantages, but so is bitcoin one of the worst coins nowadays and yet it's #1 because it was the first one and showed the world innovation once.
8043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the perfect moment?! on: February 04, 2018, 04:49:21 PM
PS: this things, with country x banned the crypto currency, or exchanges or regulations are part of the phenomen and this will result in a more notoriety of crypto markets! (they can't stop at all this phenomen, they know this).
I hope you are right, because so far some people lost a lot of money and might feel very depressed and it's all because of the news, since nothing bad actually happened to coins.
It is possible also this year. But you have to choose the perfect coins!
In my case I want only to have multiply with 4-5 times. not more than.
And how do you choose coins? One of the rules you stated in the first post was about telling people which coins you had. Could you tell us then? And it would also make your post much more valuable if you had some proofs of your words.
This is the perfect moment to buy ,the dip is now closing and we will see.a huge bounce on bitcoin and altcoins  price starting tomorrow.  I dreamed about bitcoin yesterday where its price skyrocket to $30k.
But a dream is not a sufficient source of information  Smiley. I don't understand why is the price so low when lots of people are saying that now's a good time to buy. If now is good then why don't they buy? Bitcoin has been down for almost a month now.
8044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethlend the quickest 10x on: February 04, 2018, 04:33:17 PM
Almost 100% earned since the subject opened. It seems to be getting even higher.

Actually OP was on point. The bull run started just the day he opened this thread. It's 10x in 3 weeks already.
I bought this coin in first day of new year and made 2x in USD terms. I believe this coin, we will see much better prices.
Well, the op might have got 10x indeed, but then people started selling the coins rather fast. Idea of a landing platform seems pretty good, but is it really easy to use? If the process is still complicated then this token is useless, since advanced blockhain users can perform smart contracts themselves on more popular and trusted coins like eth or byteball. Their interface looks fine, but I got another question about lending: as people don't identify themselves and while a person needs a loan he/she doesn't have the money to repay after a while, how do contracts really help? One can literally have no money to pay back and a contract cannot make it appear, right? Thus, the risk always remains.
8045  Economy / Economics / Re: Ιs the market of cryptocurrencies inevitably going down? on: February 04, 2018, 04:14:47 PM

I do not see it as a bad sign, a good news even. If you look at it, it will lessen the bad and scam ICOs from facebook. Thus lessening those newbie crypto investors getting caught in bad ICOs, less bad reps for crypto. Less people associating crypto and bitcoin to scam and ponzi.
Yes, I agree with that, I just didn't know they banned all kinds of crypto advertising.
if you think it is easy money then many people would be millionaires very easily, there is no easy money, people strive to make money
Well, in my country the average salary for a full-time job (in the capital!) is about $300. For a part-time job one can earn about $180 in a very good case. There used to be a time recently when one could have $350 per month for a signature campaign job, which is an interesting and not very hard job. That's what I meant by easy money. Oh, and secondly, the easiness was out there for trading. One could just pick 4 top coins, buy them and have solid profit from 3 out of 4 in a few months.
8046  Economy / Economics / Re: Ιs the market of cryptocurrencies inevitably going down? on: February 03, 2018, 09:27:09 PM
Nah you are already a Hero Member so at least you should know how price behaves. Can't believed you are still worried after some more years lurking in this forum. or maybe that account is a purchased one so you are not used to experienced this kind of crash, well just kidding.

Just think of this, what is the bitcoin back when you are still a Newbie rank here? Compare it to today's price or even the lowest point yersterday and you will see what I mean.
The account is not purchased, it's just that the price drops bitcoin experienced before were not so significant. Even if in terms of price they were (like when the price went down from $800 to $300 in 2015), it didn't look that bad at that time, because the marketcap wasn't that high and people were more cautious of the coin and sort of expected it to behave risky. Now, when the capitalization is so high, each time there's a serious decrease, billions of dollars are [temporarily?] lost. This is a big deal.
I believe bitcoin will be able to get over it, but I agree with one economist whose video I watched that we've never seen anything like this before and it indeed went far below what would be a normal price correction. And besides, I heard bitcoin advertising on facebook has been banned and I guess it is also a bad sign, since they want to protect people from risky investments.
8047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins still standing? on: February 03, 2018, 09:09:50 PM
Monacoin still going strong.
Maybe because of the recent hacks in Japan Exchanges, they found that Monacoin and its wallets are the safest place to store their assets.
This coin is too unstable! It fall down the hell lot IMO. It was worth almost $20 in December and is now less than $5. Come on, even btc's 50% drop is considered to be a very serious one, whereas this coin dropped 75% from its max already.
The cryptocurrency market is not stable so it totally up to your choice which investment is much better for you. I would suggest you BTC, ETH, Litecoin, SONM, these coins have potential to give great benefits in near future.
I wonder how SONM ended up being in the list with such trusted old coins as the three before it. Yes, its project seems quite good, but the coin is not even in top 100 in market capitalization, even though it's been around for half a year already.
8048  Economy / Economics / Ιs the market of cryptocurrencies inevitably going down? on: February 03, 2018, 05:50:49 PM
The market is down, especially disappointing is btc's behavior. The news on btc say sad things like that bitcoin is just a bubble that exploded and everything.. But not only bitcoin is having hard times. Most of top coins are as well. I want to know what the forum members think about all this. Is it really the end of nice and easy money? Will we ever see bitcoin worth $20k again?
I was saving some money in btc and it is quite depressing that a month ago I had about $900 and now every week I receive the payment from a signature campaign and see the sum in USD decreasing...
8049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bicoin annonced as illegal in india on: February 01, 2018, 01:20:34 PM
Quote
Finance minister Arun Jaitley, in his budget speech today (Feb. 01), stated that the government will do everything to discontinue the use of bitcoin and other virtual currencies in India.
He reiterated that India does not recognise them as legal tender and will instead encourage blockchain technology in payment systems.

“The government does not recognise cryptocurrency as legal tender or coin and will take all measures to eliminate the use of these cryptoassets in financing illegitimate activities or as part of the payments system,” Jaitley said.

Hmm  Undecided
Well, it is not very good, but I don't think the indian crypto community is big anyway. And encouraging blockchain is kind of a good thing. Yet even if finance minister did say that bitcoin's use is not recognized, that still doesn't mean they'll ban it. In my country the main National Bank provided an official statement that cryptocurrencies are not recognized as means of payment and what is not recognized is considered illegal. However, there are lots of exchanges here, nobody is doing a thing about it and there was even the project of the law which would make btc fully legal.
8050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: views on Arcblock on: February 01, 2018, 11:36:58 AM
The arcblock project prides itself as helping to develop the blockchain 3.0 frontier. More specifically, it is inherently an OPEN CHAIN ACCESS PROTOCOL, a set of rules which allows the creation of an abstract ops/processing layer to enable interoperability of applications across blockchains. This reminds me of other cross-chain projects such as wanchain or aion, which have garnered a lot of attention recently. Any views from the crowd here?
What you say sounds sophisticated and maybe it is so, but is it really needed?
On their official website it is said that their project can make an app work on different blockchains. If that's not possible yet then it is a good feature. The team includes well-educated as well as experienced people. However, I remember that there was already a project of uniting blockchains... Well, this one is about apps, though. Perhaps it indeed can succeed. I don't like the token distribution a bit. Miners get only 32% and most of tokens are going to be sold.. The team gets 15% officially, which is also quite a lot IMO.
8051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN value is decreasing, ANY chance of rise in other Currency? on: February 01, 2018, 10:12:58 AM
Don't worry if the bitcoin value will decrease because this is just a temporary. It will rise again so you need to wait. If you want to invest, then you can try some other altcoins, like Ripple.

Don't go for ripple, i recommend you to invest in other alt coins... Ripple is not fully decentralise like bitcoin and ethereum, so better to invest in other decentralised currencies.
Yes, ripple is not decentralized. However, it doesn't make it a bad investment. Perhaps, it makes xrp a traitor of crypto ideology, but that is not something everyone cares about nowadays. People stick to fiat. However, fiat has it's big problems like inflation, paper expenses, possibility of fake money or of not knowing how much money there really is.. That's why ripple can help replacing fiat. And especially because of it not being decentralized, government are more likely to choose it rather than other coins they can't control.
8052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum vs NEO on: February 01, 2018, 10:02:13 AM
Search on youtube for the presentation by Da Hong Fei, the founder of Neo. He explains that they're not competitors, Neo and Eth.

To answer your question: For February I'd say Neo, but for 2018 I'd say Eth.
That's interesting that they are not competitors! As for the prices, this is not about marketcap and not about the price per coin, right? Because I am sure it's hard to believe that NEO will beat eth in these ones. If we count the percentage change in the price, then, as eth sort of stabilized for now, I guess NEO can even score more throughout 2018, as eth is now is the temporary state between mineable and not mineable and eth will probably have this Constantinople fork by the end of 2018.
8053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best altcoins to buy for 2018 before price goes to the moon? on: February 01, 2018, 09:45:43 AM
Most of people recommend very unpopular coins, that's pretty strange since investing in them is a rather risky decision. I would recommend bitcoin (there's no doubt we'll see it doubling the price in months) and ripple (I now it sort of mooned already, but I believe it can reach its previous record, thus giving the investors 3x profit).
Stratis , i recommended everyone here about this 2 months ago , and will keep suggest it till it BOOM . Dont be late

Agree with Stratis and another similarly placed coin I would recommend is Waves
Whereas Waves at least offers a good platform for creating tokens (freeing one even from the need to be good at programming), I really don't understand why people believe in Stratis. Their whitepaper is very weak, mostly telling about general things like blockchain and smart contracts!
8054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON (TRX) Scam on: January 31, 2018, 08:44:35 PM
I sold all of my TRX bag when I heard about that most of the whitepaper was copied from another coin.
This matter of fact destroyed all of my trust into this project.
But did you really check the whitepaper? Is it truly copied? I don't think trx is a good project, but I also disagree with it being called a scam, since so far people have mostly benefited from it. I got some trx during the 'apologize airdrop' on liqui, I am holding it for now, though maybe it's time to sell while it is worth anything.
A coin can be called a scam only after there was some unpleasant situation with people losing their funds. Moreover, with some coins even such stuff did happen (eth, iota) and they are still considered to be fine.
8055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what altcoin is suitable for daily trading and long term trading ? on: January 31, 2018, 08:27:39 PM
please give me the tips to know how to see a good coin for daily trading and long term trading
Well, surely, nobody an give you the right advice and the risk as well as responsibility is all on you. That's why I'll just state my opinion and nothing more. I think that the coin for long-term investment and trading should not be the same. Their properties have to differ. When looking for a long-term investment, one needs to explore the coin and project behind it (if any), analyze the price charts and roadmap to see whether the coin is becoming more expensive with time. A good example it bitcoin which has a strong tendency of going up no matter what and not having long serious price dips that can make people nervous. For trading you shouldn't care much about the project as well as the general tendency of the coin. The most important thing is regular cycles with the price going up and down. One person on youtube was explaining it on fair coin, which used to have regular fluctuations and so the only thing one had to do was learn how to follow them.
Good luck!
8056  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies aren't anonymous anymore on: January 31, 2018, 08:04:23 PM
What a clickbait title ! Anonymity is not leaving Bitcoin ! You can still buy your bitcoins with cash and get covered without any problem ! Only sale is monitored on South Korean exchanges, which represent, let me remind you, a very minor part of the world volume.
First, sale is monitored NOT only on the Korean exchanges. I am using bittrex and I haven't withdrawn any money from my account so far, but I did get notifications that to do that I would be asked to provide full information on my real name, origin and date of birth. Secondly, South Korean exchanges are actually quite a big part of all the trading volume there is. It is hard to count it, but I would say that they have about 10% of the top coins' trading volume. That is not too big, but big enough to draw attention and lead others to panic selling for quite some time.
8057  Economy / Economics / Re: bloated economy on: January 31, 2018, 07:43:10 PM
Are all of these recent icos good for the economy of crypto? I have seen a couple of brilliant one's (ethlend). But some, are garbage.
I think all the coins are good in a way, because they add something to the overall marketcap and thus make the market more noticeable to those who don't really know about it. However, it is true indeed that some projects are very bad and they lower the reputation of cryptocurrencies, since they make a lot of people lose their money.
İ think the economy is inflated. In a short period of time a very ridiculous volume had formed. But I think it's starting to normalize.
Of course it's inflated. It has been hyped up so badly, that people aren't thinking anymore before investing their coins or money into whatever ICO project.

Ethereum is the perfect example of what massive inflation looks like. Seriously, without ICOs, Ethereum wouldn't manage to come even close to its current levels with so much circulating coin supply ~ it's mind boggling.
Yes, the prices are too much for now and perhaps they aren't really normalizing yet. The problem is not that some coins like eth are worth a lot because some projects are built on their platforms. The coins are mostly used for trading. People care about the projects sometimes, but they still mainly care, because they want to predict whether it's gonna be a profitable one. At the same time, coins are supposed to work as means of payment of different sorts, not some subjects of price fluctuation games.
8058  Economy / Economics / Re: As long as you convert your crypto to fiat, we will never go mass adoption on: January 31, 2018, 07:32:45 PM

The next time you pay for something, always encourage them to accept crypto.
This is how your transfer the market cap from fiat to blockchain and this is how you realize true gain, your 10 coins valued at let's say 100$ can go to the moon if more people would switch to crypto.

I believe the two lines above are a bit inconsistent. For people to help cryptos become massively adopted asking people to accept coins as payment is sort of a good idea, but, like you said, they should not convert it into fiat. If they don't then they should not really care how much in fiat do they have in each moment of time. 1 btc is always 1 btc regardless to whether it is worth $600 or $6k, right? Only with such an attitude cryptos can really replace the fiat. You, on the other hand, say that making people adopt the coins will help them to moon (and you give a sum in usd to prove your point), so it's still about converting stuff to fiat eventually.
8059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin for short term investment. . on: January 30, 2018, 04:39:09 PM
Mates, I need to know what is the best altcoin to buy now that I can invest some money in it as a short term investment in the way that I can gain some quick profits??
I mean just few weeks even a month or something like this and not more than this. Waiting for your help please.
Thanks a lot.

at the moment it is difficult to say exactly what you buy at the moment, while the market has fallen, you can buy enough coins, I would advise you to take such as
1. Stratis
This coin is not likely even to give one 2x profit since it would be breaking the record price for it. Bitcoin and litecoin are both low, but the situation is pretty much like with stratis for these coins. I think ripple is the best choice for now, because it used to be worth 2.5 times more than now and I believe in about a month it would pretty much be able to fully recover.  Bitcoin cash is another option, since it is also very down right now and it can probably be worth the sums it used to be worth quite fast. Good luck, op, with choosing one! Just don't choose a shitty coin and everything will be fine.
8060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin? Will it become a mainstream of currency. on: January 30, 2018, 04:29:46 PM
Future of online currency will be a mainstream or it's popularity will wane?
I think a few years Bitcoin will rise in price. Experts predict the growth rate in 2019. Bitcoin will be worth more than 20 thousand dollars.

Being worth more that $20k is no prediction, since it doesn't say how much more it will cost. We already saw $20k, so to make a difference it should cost about $50k by 2019. As for it being mainstream, well, I find it hard to believe that all those old people counting everything they have will manage to deal with those huge fees as well as price fluctuations people have with bitcoin. Not to mention that many people are against all this technologization and are hardly comfortable even with fiat on debit cards.
