Ethereum is not bubble, ethereum has a real used case for blockchain. Yes i know many scam project on its blockchain but its equal to some succeed project. Hoever invest to start up is a big big risk and if you new to start up investment you need to learn it more and diversify your investment as much as you can. In real life investing in start up also have a high risk and give great return too.

Indeed, the Ethereum is a platform and brings value not only as a coin (payment mean) but also as an enabler for other apps build upon it. Although most of eth ICOs will never achieve the goals they promised the fact is Ethereum enables building Dapps with much less tech effort really makes a difference.

See the same pattern in both threads, you got done over by an ICO now you're sour, most people have made losses and come back stronger than ever, trading is no place for emotional people.

I don't see how Eth is over-valued, it is a very efficient method of making and receiving payments (slowly getting worse, but by no means beyond repair). It has the ever popular and ever developing smart contracts (most people simply see this as an ICO platform but it extends far beyond that, especially with other projects providing more extensive use such as Loopring)

Why is ethereum the cancer of crypto when it has the most transactions among the crypto and many others usage. It has the function to justify the marketcap instead of other coins that only has whitepaper and big marketcap. 1) FUD is by definition not "good" as it is irrational, and not reasoned
2) If you argue for a bubble, which is fair, then  ETH is nothing special. All crypto's can be said to have been in a bubble
3) If you look at the price development across coins, you will see that ETH was lagging the market, not leading it and thus cannot have caused the recent downturn
4) ETH as a coin and Ethereum as a basis for tokens are not to be confused. You hardly can make ETH responsible for any abuses
5) Tokens can be shown in wallets. If MEW has a problem, that's a problem with the wallet implementation, not ETH

Abover are just the facts, defuting pretty much everything you are going on about.

And furthermore, I believe ETH should be be priced higher, not lower, at least when benchmarked against BTC. ETH has MUCH more to offer than BTC.

I think ethereum is one of the few not bubble coins. It might be a little bit overpriced, that is not an issue. Bitcoin and ethereum is not bubble, but overpriced for now.

Without the Ethereum the meaning and term ICO would be invented. It was the Ethereum project which first started the trend of ICOs based on ERC-20 standard. The project raised $18,439,086 and the tremendous success made other developers follow its steps. I do not support dislikes of the Ethereum because without it many projects that are successful today wouldn't even be possible.

This is the second thread where I see you bashing Ethereum. SCAMMED buying ETH at $1400? Think again, most likely ETH will soon be worth more than that. Almost the whole ICO economy is based on ETH, so people will want to buy ETH even when it will reach 2000$ or much more than that.

let me guess, you hold a lot of eth and want it to grow, no matter what common sense says? so you try to trick people into buying eth for $1400 and more just so your stack of ETH makes you a millionaire some day? such people as this are the death of crypto. if we split up the eth market cap of $100 billion and give it to 1000 dev teams, $100 million each, they would skyrocket crypto and blockchain into the future but thanks to ETH scammers progress is pretty much halted........ even for an investor it makes no sense to buy expensive, you only have the risk of eth crashing and losing 95% of its value with the only upside of maybe making x1 or x2 while small projects can easily make x50, x100, x1000

unfortunately people become blind to all the negativity of a coin when that coin is rising because they made a tiny amount of money from that pump. but the fact is ETH is one of the worst cryptocurrencies that ever existed. it is also the most profitable one because of the mentality you see in the response in this topic and also the fact that there are lots of powers contributing to the pump of it: centralized banks that were impotent in bitcoin so they chose ETH, ICOs that keep attracting a lot of money that has to go through ether, newbies with money desperate for profit,...

No, I actually don't hold a significant amount of ETH, because I prefer to invest in ICO's.

Actually, ETH is a very useful crypto and has been a great addition to the crptoworld.  It has allowed for new coins to flourish and will continue to be  useful moving forward.  Can you imagine the cryptospace being what it is without ETH?  I sure can´t!

The problem is that eth is not the coin that is majorly affected. Look at bitcoin, ripple, iota, litecoin.. They all are good but they have serious price decrease.
Eth haters have been around when it cost $15. They said it's a scam and it will not succeed. Turned out eth wasn't a scam and actually got very successful. And eth is a real innovation. I mean, it was at a certain time. Of course, now there are many coins like it which even improved some of its disadvantages, but so is bitcoin one of the worst coins nowadays and yet it's #1 because it was the first one and showed the world innovation once.

I do not think that is speculation, because ethereum is one of the top altcoin with a huge investor and extends all over the world. With a relatively stable price, making Ethereum a lot of people.

 Since ethereum launches its own platform, ethereum is getting better day by day, so the price is always stable even increases. Although there has been an issue that keeps the price of ethereum down, but it only happens temporarily, after which the price of ethereum returns to normal. thank you
