What is the reason of this giveaway?
I don't know if this link is legit. It seems that the website has been created just to run this promotion of Nano Ledger and TRX.
How is it ensured that this contest is not fake?
This is legit contest.

The threat will always continue to exist till the time 100% of the virus is over form the world and where there are large crowds come it becomes riskier. So would not travel at this point of time or visit any such places where the risk rises. It may take some months now before things get back on track.
Very dangerous to travel at this time to casinos or any place that gathers a huge crowd.
You don't need to travel when casinos are closed due to the virus, and I doubt the owner will give the life of his business in expense of his life and lives of his staffs. I keep on thinking what does the millionaire or billionaire casino players is doing now, maybe they'll fetch each other using helicopters and play casino games in one of their penthouses haha
Most businesses are close and what I'm just responding to the guy I've quoted about the danger of travelling.

Whether the casino company do care or not with their employees, they are not allowed to operate.
8043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: April 20, 2020, 08:50:37 AM
Even before the lockdown, I am not comfortable gambling somewhere crowded and I don't want to get destructed by voices and opinions whenever I gamble. It is either I play online or play with only a few people when I gamble. Staying in crowded places will only put you at risk, and suffocated.
We've been hearing the news and if you have been hearing it as well, you will never think of going to the casinos.

Because if you do, you don't care to your health even if you really want to gamble. There's always time to go there someday when things are good but not today.
8044  Other / Off-topic / Re: best ESPORT online games on: April 19, 2020, 10:38:48 AM
League of Legends is the most profitable Esport right now.
If you ask me, you should try be a good player at this game. It is more profitable than Dota 2 or CSGO because it has more players in the community thus more spectators.
If you are thinking of becoming a professional player then LoL is the way to go.
I know League is also a known esports today but comparing to the highest tier tournament of League and Dota 2.

I would say that Dota 2's The international is much profitable than the league's world championship.

Compare the history of two big tournaments of esports.

8045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: April 19, 2020, 10:13:04 AM
I wonder what would be a 5 year old kid bet, 3 candies and a lollypop?  Cheesy

You can start gambling when you are ready to realise what and how much you can lose. Some people understand that at the age of 5, someone dont understand that at the age of 55. There should be no age restriction, but person should understand all the consequences.
It's not about what the kid can bet at his age.

The puzzle is if that's really part of their culture and they are allowing as young as a 5-year-old to gamble. In different countries, we don't know the culture that they have with regards to gambling.

You'll be a potential carrier if you are not careful enough or you can't stop yourself. But the good news is that you have no place to go if you want to gamble because casinos and other establishments are closed due to lockdown.
8047  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Remember Plustoken? they are still active and massive sell-off keeps going on on: April 19, 2020, 08:43:23 AM
With your opinion, maybe time will come for these exchanges across the world that they will create a union to become connected and unite if such incident happens again.

I think Binance will have the initiative for this but only time will tell.
8048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: April 19, 2020, 08:12:40 AM
Never imagined something like this happening to me, but so far at least I often get news about the leader of an area or a member of the council or maybe people who have influence in their area do something negative and not just about gambling. With the incident that I found, then I just assume any position will not guarantee your reputation is clean and when the accusation occurs, then I think no one can evade it because after all the negative accusations occur because of his own behavior that does not have a good mindset and wise.
But what if that guy justifies if he can change and past is past.

That kind of incident will affect him and it cant change the impression of other people. But people change if they really want to.
8049  Other / Off-topic / Re: best ESPORT online games on: April 19, 2020, 06:27:24 AM
Good question.

The esports is growing now and the other professional gamers are migrating to other game so if they have been on the MOBA scene, they can easily adapt the new nature.

That is the idea that starts on my mind so average players like me can be part of the pioneer competitive players.

I see, that's true if they maintain those core game mechanics.

Not sure if you've heard of this, but there's Heroes of Newerth too. Not a new player, but it's pretty large in South Korea.
I have played that once and some of the pro players there migrated to Dota 2 like notail and EternalEnvy.

That is why the other non popular games can be full of opportunity if you played and became competitive for that game.
8050  Other / Off-topic / Re: best ESPORT online games on: April 19, 2020, 04:21:56 AM

Majority of the people here if it's MOBA, Dota 2 is the choice.

The next would be League of Legends but I'm starting to explore the other kinds of MOBA games that are not so popular.

MOBA games are plain pain in the ass to deal with mainly due to the community. Not beginner-friendly unlike FPS like CSGO.

But why explore the not so popular ones though?

8052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 19, 2020, 01:10:59 AM
Probably the 2nd time that I've seen this kind of topic was made. But it has a point that bitcoin should also be accessible by them.

Check out this project that goes over the wallet part: https://icywallet.com/ with a combination of ADA tools like screen readers they could visit an exchange's website to buy or trade coins. There are guidelines like WCAG here: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/ that go over accessibility. I'm unaware of any exchanges are trading platforms that have incorporated this into their offerings, maybe someone else can chime in here.
Interesting.

I think I've seen this too on that topic before.

Let's see if huge corporations and known crypto companies, exchanges and other manufacturers will apply this idea to their next editions.
8053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading an Expensive Coin vs a Cheap Coin on: April 19, 2020, 12:47:39 AM
You can get a better profit with bitcoin although it's cheap and the quantity you'll get is lower.

How do you get a better profit with bitcoin when its price is higher and the quantity you get is lower, and it moves in less percentages compared to a cheaper coin?

JH
It's a timing-based of selling and buying.

The 'buy low and sell high' strat of all time.

What moba game do you like?

8055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember WannaCry? one of hackers bitcoin address is on the move on: April 18, 2020, 02:53:27 PM
Probably selling it for the need due to lockdown.

I believe the address is tainted  already, it would be interesting to see how he/she cash out. I know most exchanges would not allow the person to cash out because the big exchanges in the space are now working with the security agencies, maybe he will use one of these Asian exchanges to cash out
Binance do blacklist addresses that's involved in shady activities so if ever the guy transfers it to Binance, his funds will be locked immediately.
8056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading an Expensive Coin vs a Cheap Coin on: April 18, 2020, 02:18:25 PM
Let me re-phrase the question in another way.

Do the cheaper coins have a greater chance of doubling my investment (because of more volatility) than investing in a more expensive one which takes ages to move even 10% of the cheaper coin?
Depends on the cheaper coins that you are about to choose. Not all of them are good investments even they are cheap.

Furthermore, if I invested in the more expensive coin, I would be purchasing less coin with the available BTC I have, and thus the profit would be lower compared to the same move on the cheaper coin - right?

Would it be better making 5% on a cheaper coin or 5% on a more expensive coin?

JH
Like bitcoin as an expensive coin, this depends on how much you will invest. It's likely to be the same amount invested to the cheaper coins. You can get a better profit with bitcoin although it's cheap and the quantity you'll get is lower.

Bitcoin has a great volume unlike the possible cheaper coins you will buy, they might have drop their volume as soon as you buy.
8057  Other / Off-topic / Re: Change my mind on: April 18, 2020, 12:45:32 PM
Governments declare the value of cash and then we declare the value of bitcoin.

Are we the "followers"?  Huh
Theoretically speaking, with the stupid covid19 we've seen value of USD going down & also value of
crypto following the same pattern. There are also many more factors involved in the price fluctuation and
there is so much pressure on crypto "to gain value" so I would totally understand the reasons.
Yes, that's understandable.

The affection of crypto to go down truly because of the covid19. People were forced to withdraw and sell what's on their stash to provide themselves food.

You identify yourself whether you are a follower or not.

He has a well established portfolio. He voiced anime characters and that's his foundation. There's no competition in their industry, they're all helping each other and whoever gets the project, there's no jealousy that's being showed by their other co-talents.

Before the lockdown, he goes to the company studio but with the latest that I know, he has his own studio.

Ah, okay. I thought it's something like the Voicebunny site which you offer your services along with other members doing the same.

Every man's dream is to have his own company Smiley
Well, it just came to my mind that I want to be a voice actor someday and that's what every guy is dreaming of, to voice your favorite action movies, cartoons, animes, etc.

I've asked him if he's planning to put up a studio for workshops, he said yes but no definite time when.
8060  Other / Off-topic / Re: High paying online jobs on: April 18, 2020, 10:26:22 AM
I've met someone who's part of my childhood who's a voice actor for different series translated into local. I didn't asked how much he made but he made a good living out of it.

Get to buy his house, cars and can sustain his family. But it's also a struggle if he doesn't have work because it's just a project basis as we can see on tv series'.
He's one lucky guy to be able to sustain in the industry. Must have been difficult to compete with other talents. But is it purely online or he works in a studio?
