8041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of ETH? on: October 09, 2018, 06:27:40 AM
Speaking frankly, today there are quite a few positive moments for the development of the cryptocurrency market, as well as strengthening the position of ethereum in the market. But for some reason the market reacts differently to all these circumstances.
Now with small pumps we are happy to see and consider it.

This movement cannot determine the future of a coin but while its market cap remains high and currently sits as #2 there's still something to it. Strength of it is there are people that are holding and keep on investing to it who have seen it grew up to $1,400. And that's what everyone aims and pushes to keep ETH.
8042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEAM CARD TOKENS on: October 09, 2018, 06:10:10 AM
I see no interest on this project and please don't bump your thread with those newbies out there. It's obvious that those posts aren't even reading what the thread is all about.
They keep on saying "good project" and "airdrop" which can't be found on the thread. You should also move this to Announcements (Altcoins).
8043  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is KeepKey hardware wallet safe enough? on: October 09, 2018, 02:38:11 AM
I haven't used it because I'm sticking to Ledger.

If you are worried about it, Keepkey is also a good wallet suggested by bitcoin.org

8044  Economy / Economics / Re: A global currency may be powered by the blockchain on: October 09, 2018, 02:09:32 AM
I've heard of this conspiracy and its accompanied with one world religion and one world leader.

I even thought that bitcoin is already the currency that conspiracy tackles. If a government controlled cryptocurrency will come out it needs to be supported by the biggest countries so it can be verified that its the one world currency that we're saying but if none exists, then probably bitcoin is that thing but its decentralized.
8045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? on: October 09, 2018, 12:12:04 AM
Obviously people are into cryptocurrencies because of its popular and the technology that it brings to the future.

It's not just your very own investment but you can use it almost everywhere now as long as there's acceptance to it. Crypto is an allin one type of money and investment and with large total market cap, it brings a brighter future to those people that wants to have it.

Is tomatocage reliable?
Yes but he's last active since May so contacting him through the forum is going to be hard for you.

I see that you posted on OgNasty's thread.

8048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: LiteDash Coin on: October 08, 2018, 10:50:18 PM
What's with this? you are giving the people an idea of what litedash coin is with those basic information.

But what you really want to do? you're going to sell? this is a marketplace for altcoins so I'm guessing that's what you really want or you're just exposing and trying to make a thread for it? Is this a fork that's about to come for Litecoin and DASH?
8049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start investing? on: October 08, 2018, 10:30:17 PM
It's your job to DYOR while you are still new in crypto's.

For security then use only wallets that you hold private keys or seeds or mnemonic phrases for recovery. And with what amount you should start investing, that depends on your capacity but as a beginner I'd advice you to invest only with amount that you can afford to lose.
8050  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: October 08, 2018, 09:57:14 PM
Joining BTC? no.

What facebook is about to do is to adopt blockchain technology. And this is one of the move that caused those rumors.
Facebook's blockchain team is looking for a lead dealmaker
. It's either they will start making business using it and will create their very own FB coin.
8051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying eth Selling btc on: October 08, 2018, 09:34:46 PM
Its easy to exchange those to any exchange out there. You'll be paying more with the fee and cut that your transactor wants but if you insist to continue this.

Deal with escrow. Another choice is to look for a trusted man on Currency exchange.
8052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin is preparing to leave Ethereum. on: October 08, 2018, 08:58:17 PM
Where's that tweet he made? I'm looking on it on his twitter account but it seem that there's no tweet like that.

He already said suc words before that it can no longer recover but if that's what he really meant there's no looking back for him. This man has a vision to the project before but after the bear market he seem to be skeptic about it and probably sold a lot of his coins at the peak.
8053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which industry is New Zone going to change forever? on: October 08, 2018, 10:01:02 AM
The main problem is which industry will try to adopt the technology that has already used by crypto? I have seen so many projects have been using them all and they tried to combine it with the technology of crypto.
But till this time and none of them have created such a useful product. Basically crypto can be used to change the economic system.
That's it, I've seen that Venezuela is doing their best to adopt the tech and use of their very own Petro coin.

But it looks like its failing because of many factors. Most of those industries can change forever after adopting crypto, blockchain technology and other things related to this innovation.
8054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which season is ETH now? on: October 08, 2018, 09:50:22 AM
ETH was around $20 last 2016 and I didn't took the chance of buying when it was there.

Can't say what season where are we right now but there's clarity on my point of view and that is we are still in the bear market. And if you aim to see ETH @$1000 for this year, no can guarantee you that its possible. You saw its downfall and high's as well while waiting for that uplifting season, buy more of it.
8055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: does anybody do reaudits anymore?? on: October 08, 2018, 09:32:06 AM
There are still plenty of them. I saw one on Service Discussion (Altcoins).

Twitter audit pro

That's the link, you just need to look and search a bit in the forum. He's active yesterday so I think that service is still active as well.
8056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think their will be another Bull Run this year? I D0 NOT THINK SO! on: October 08, 2018, 08:57:59 AM
I respect your analysis and everyone does but there's only one thing that I also believe right now. I'm optimistic with the market but understands on where it is currently sitting but everything can happen within a snap.

Novogratz has previously made some very optimistic price predictions for Bitcoin that could reach $40,000 by the end of 2018, but has just recently adjusted his prognosis.

https://coincodex.com/article/2448/mike-novogratz-adjusts-2018-prediction-for-btc-i-dont-think-it-breaks-9000/
He saw that the time isn't enough for bitcoin to reach $40,000.
8057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: October 08, 2018, 08:37:00 AM
Hope that they are not, because without ICOs it will be impossible to develop cryto market in the future.
Even without ICOs development of crypto's can still be on going.

ICOs are made to support those projects that doesn't have enough fund to continue their project. A billion dollar company can develop blockchain or their own crypto even without having an ICO. That's the fact that ICOs will come to an end for the upcoming years and bounty as well.
8058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: October 08, 2018, 07:48:59 AM
Advisors aren't the only people that are responsible for those ICO's but the devs itself.

Do your initiative that only support those ICOs that has a legit project and is being backed by a real company. This is just my standard although I'm not really into ICOs but if someone out there and is a fan of ICOs, change your standard and don't support those ICO scams.
8059  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: October 08, 2018, 01:36:11 AM
Helping to reach people where payment processors doesn't operate on their location.

Not only helping businesses to expand but helping to add another payment option and the business itself can just simply convert those crypto payment in fiat in real time with the use of exchanges. This is the type of adoption what the world really needs in able for crypto to have more demand.

Its true. If cryptocurrency used for payment, sector like tourism can be increasing. Tourist can be more flexible and dont have to carry paper money, they just bring a device that contain crypto to pay anything and anywhere if mass adoption become reality
This will be applied soon on tourism.

There are some companies now that are accepting payments for airfare tickets through bitcoin and other selected crypto's. If you'll take a round tour to a country like Japan, there are many stores there that are now accepting crypto's and what you said is already applied there.
8060  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: October 08, 2018, 01:18:50 AM
It will gain exposure to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. You know its facebook and when there are companies like this that supports an idea, people are going to believe what they are saying.

If it is for raising the awareness yes but when they come up to an idea of making their own coin for sure they will work very hard for its own promotion.
I agree with you because they were too influential to most social media's platform, they can tell what they wanted to tell to everyone but they really have to work hard if they want to make their own crypto currency and a lot of people on the other platform are doing it. He might get questioned again if there's something with his crypto currency in his platform.  Grin
They are the most popular social media so that really makes sense to say that there's an impact to the crowd.

They aren't only operating to a single location but they cater the world's entire target market. Though they are facing some security issues lately that's probably the hint that they should start and focus with innovation integrated with blockchain and start accepting sponsorship payments through crypto.
