8041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: U.S Based E-Commerce Company Buyaladdin.com INC Reveals CEO Read More on: December 19, 2019, 08:04:53 AM
Something like this is what is needed by the crypto world. It is indeed not the first but this will greatly affect the future development of a healthy crypto world. Yes, of course, by synchronizing payments through cryptocurrencies, it is expected that ordinary people can get to know bitcoin and good altcoin and of course in the long run they can invest in it.

No. The crypto world doesn't need more corporates. It needs regular people like you and me to keep making a difference, to keep using crypto the way it was meant to be, and that's peer 2 peer. With each other, keeping our funds controlled by our private keys that nobody else knows. The moment we trust someone else to keep and use our crypto is the moment we actually stop using crypto.
8042  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: December 19, 2019, 06:51:04 AM
No, signature campaign members for months discuss contest that is non existent since there are no rewards.
It's used just to bump thread while Bitdice raised millions for and can use some of it for real marketing.

I would look elsewhere to engage in meaningful conversation if I were you. If a thread annoys me I don't go back to it. And if you're going to criticize something, it's totally fine too, but at least get it right. No one has been talking about any competition going on, where did you get that from? Criticism is welcome, but make it constructive, thank you.
8043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: December 19, 2019, 06:07:26 AM
I can't believe I'm actually seeing someone suggest stoploss is an evil.

If you have a strategy, then you surely must have SL in place to say okay I was wrong, so now I'll think again and take this losses. Without stop loss you're trading like okay I was wrong, now let's hope the market swings back or I'm fked.
8044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vechain hack of $6.5 Million due to Human Error on: December 18, 2019, 09:48:12 AM
Centralized altcoin central leader says it was a human error.

So guys, is this a lesson to you? Are all the crypto hacks in history a lesson to you?

Put power in the hands of a few and you either see your money disappear in hacks due to negligence or due to human error. End game is, if you allow crypto to be exposed to such few points of failure, it's a matter of time before that failure becomes apparent.
8045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 18, 2019, 09:02:37 AM
Arsenal COULD try & win the Europa League. It looks a lot more likely as a route to next seasons CL than finishing in the top 4 of the league.
I’m surprised at how poorly Emery did in the PL, probably just a case of wrong place at the wrong time.
Personally, I don't see current Arsenal, considering how they are playing. Even team like Olympiakos in next round won't be easy for them. I think Arsenal fans should forget about Champions league for another season.

Actually DeathAngel has a point. Arsenal as I see it are just very prone to nerves and pressure. They have expectations of top 4 finish in EPL which their entire supporters also pressurize them for.

In Europa maybe a bit different, no one expects them to win PLUS against new opponents everything is a surprise, and I think teams are also surprised by how fast and agile Arsenal players can be (when they want to).

Another final sounds about right for them. But if they meet another English opponent, then bye bye...
8046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 18, 2019, 07:45:23 AM
Its funny to hear that coming from someone promoting BSV scam

Actually, it's not really funny. After everything we've seen in the past 2 years with the Bitcoin clones and the incredible lies they build and actually believe? It's expected. I've come to see and expect the worst from the types who follow CW, Ver, etc. I'd actually be really surprised to hear them start making sense. Best leave them be.
8047  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: December 18, 2019, 07:11:21 AM
Barca all the way tonight! We were extremely lucky to drop points, and then see Real Madrid do the exact same thing (although in fact they did it very very late!).

El Clasico never the same without Ronaldo but even with him we could win it and I don't see any big surprises tonight, it will be a slim victory or a draw. Simple ML with boost, almost 2/1!
8048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Investements Groups on: December 17, 2019, 09:40:48 AM
MY advice. Don't pay attention to any of them. You can try them for fun, if you don't believe. Fake buy their portfolios and signals but in the end you would do just as bad or good on your own, without paying anyone any money.

Look at all the famous crypto funds themselves. They all lost money in 2018 in the bear market, ALL of them. Look it up. But if you just held Bitcoin you'd be fine today.
8049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 17, 2019, 09:06:21 AM
Coins with good partnerships is like a symbol of seriousness in project teams, i don't like coins that have none or unknown partners, real use cases is a plus too

Not really. Bitcoin never did any partnerships and never needed to. The problem with partnership is that it implies some kind of control or centralization. And worse for me is if you partner with corporates then you know money was involved somewhere.

A corporate coin for sure but not if the coin itself is supposed to be decentralized!
8050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2019, 07:47:44 AM
Anyone happy with the draw? I think the favorites have to be Inter Milan now or Salzburg. There were strong teams already in Europa for sure but these two performed so well in CL they were unlucky not to progress. The Scottish teams got lucky too I think, Braga and Kopenhagn are not so strong this season it seems.
8051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why didn't Bakkt launch bring $25000 on the table? on: December 17, 2019, 07:16:13 AM
Because the only people who were saying Bakkt was the product every big whale was waiting for were Bakkt, and people who really truly had no idea how Bitcoin buyers work.

If you were a millionaire or bank with millions to put into Bitcoin. What do you do? Wait for something like Bakkt to happen and go in at whatever price Bakkt happens to launch in?

Or go OTC and have your own bitcoin immediately?
8052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: December 16, 2019, 09:47:04 AM
30 is like a buy signal for me, on the way up, and 25 is my buy signal on the way down, so you can be sure I am holding in Doge. This is a coin that faithfully will go up towards 3 digits eventually. I never really wait till 100 sats of course but 80 even is always perfect for me since I do about x3. Been doing this several times now and I still hold my own never to be touched stash. Gotta love this coin for so many reasons!
8053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex is lying about Digibyte! on: December 16, 2019, 07:44:21 AM
Yes, I have some Digibyte. Kind of a funny coin for me, I made my profits from it already in 2017, along with a bag of others, but for some reason I actually bought into the development roadmaps for them, so I ensured I kept aside some of those coins, DBG included. Practically worth nothing now, but just a reflection of every other alt.

Can't be bothered about Polo, left that platform AGES ago. Bittrex is where my DGB's likely to be kept some day;)
8054  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: December 16, 2019, 07:13:50 AM
Nice to see people pop by every now and then to point out what already has been. Notice it's not Provably Fair but Absolutely Fair, I'm sure this is a nod to the fact that third party slot providers have their own form of RNG certification that's also itself third party. Anyway, everyone deserves to have their own say, and this is the spirit of openness from most crypto services.
8055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 15, 2019, 12:39:22 PM
The market situation is not suitable for making new investments and waiting in the dull market is boring. The expectations have to be met in various ways and the investors have to make their hard decisions. That's the reason why many investors failed in the crypto investment. I hope the next year will bring good things for the crypto community.

Then again, if most traders believe that things will recover (and they mainly do), then now represents the perfect time to reenter the market ahead of 2020. I think a lot of whales already see this and entered at the 5k and 6k mark. They definitely took profit once we kept trying to hit 8k, but once we really move on, we won't be looking back for a while.
8056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stratis rapidly pumps after hitting above 4500 sats? on: December 15, 2019, 12:07:33 PM
Honestly I don't know anymore. I have a healthy amount of stratis, so I'll be really happy for sure, but it actually makes no difference to me if Stratis goes x5 or x10, I still will hold on to it. It'll have to be a serious bull run at this point for me to let go of any longterm holds. 4500 pump to 100k sats, WHILE BTC itself also pumps in USD value? Now that would be the ideal scenario. Then of course I hope BTC goes to ATH and we get to new ATH vs ATH.

140k sats at BTC=20k would be $28. We can all dream can't we?
8057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: December 15, 2019, 10:48:21 AM
If you think you having a bad day,  think about a guy whose game was busted due to Barcelona draw against Real Soceidad, this is the kind of energy I was expecting from Inter Milan during champions league meeting,  Barça played without Messi, still they couldn't win Barça,  I felt pity for Milan,  Real Soceidad played beyond my expectations today,

Yes, think about the guy who picked Parma (Napoli was shit and I was right), Burnley and Barca to parlay... and lost it all because of our defense. We really need to do something about our backline seriously. It's like their minds were elsewhere or something.

So now we have to hope for Real to also stumble, otherwise us winning El Clasico isn't going to make things safer.
8058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 15, 2019, 10:08:23 AM
Can't remember the guy who mentioned here but if you HAD gone for underdogs last night, you'd also only be up 3. Parma, Cologne and Bournemouth were the only underdogs who won. Yes, Leicester and Barca (I almost felt like dying goddamn) also failed to win but they ended up to be draws so very hard.

Anyone who has 4 last night is probably leading!
8059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential ETH Prices in December the Lowest 98$ and the Highest 222$ on: December 14, 2019, 12:50:16 PM
From the chat above , price is still bear and this being that no force that is pushing now, I think it is going to remain on the level it is trading until we cross the season of December.

The bear market got chances to dominate lately, that why we noticed a lot of fluctuating market. Our market situation seems to be very difficult to correct all sorts of price declination, because there's a lot of reasons which needs to adhere prior final recovery happens. If we see an opportunity, don't you ever waste it.

There is no force except Bitcoin's own force pushing it, that's for sure. But most technical analysis now agrees that buyers will have to test $160 this weekend to give it enough push to go towards $200 before the year end. This is an unlikely scenario though, more likely for us to just see ups and downs in the same $10 range UNTIL Bitcoin breaks out or loses support at 7k.
8060  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is your Android Wallet secure? Most of the 37 wallets should scare you! on: December 14, 2019, 12:19:21 PM
Good thing that you recognize this problem. Just because code is open source and verifiable doesn't mean anyone is actually going out of their way to do this.

One suggestion is to introduce a thread in the technical and wallet section for Bitcoin. There are actual wallet users there who are good with coding (I'm not one of them) who, if interested could try out your code. How many programmers do you have?
