8041  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 15, 2017, 12:47:04 PM
The reality of that dream is gone now that most people know the importance of Bitcoin. People are always on the look out for any bit of news or development around the bitcoin. I really don't see that chance of anyone getting so rich any more from the Bitcoin gains as was in the past. And anyone buying that coins around the current price is doomed for a great financial loss because it's most likely the price must crash before going up again (that is if it can).
8042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: April 15, 2017, 11:06:27 AM
It's a good thing that we have websites like Bitcointalk where there is a Bitcoin gambling community that posts threads and posts reviews on the different gambling websites that are out there on the Internet. Bitcoin gambling is one of the most important things when it involves playing online because the payments are almost instant and the money is easy to transport. People could just use their smartphones and gamble on the airplane if they wanted to.

Exactly that ! There also some review sites popping up that have well written non boss reviews of bitcoins casinos. They even starting to review altcoins too. Good sites to visit first.
The problem with review sites is that they can be bought and give good reviews to the ones that don't deserve it, the problem is the centralization of the information which by the way is the same reason bitcoin is a decentralized currency to avoid the tyranny of someone having full control over a currency that banks and governments have a t the moment with their fiat.

I do not trust in reviews posted on any company's website. Most often these reviews are bought. If I want an accurate review or rating about a site, I just look around on the internet. I look around everywhere but not on the website of the company of my interest.

Again, I can smell scam around a company if it's claims and promises seem too good to be true. That's if the claims look bloated. On this, I tend to treat most Bitcoin doubling and mining sites as scams.

Will you be accepting more users anytime soon?

Of course, you may want to stick around to confirm this. Keep checking this thread for an opening.
8044  Economy / Services / Re: HIRING: E-sports lovers and writers! on: April 14, 2017, 07:06:10 AM
I am a writer. But the major problem with writing articles online is on how to receive the payment. Most guys advertising for writers actually don't pay up after the articles are submitted. I don't mean to offend anyone here but let me ask, has anyone got paid yet?

At least this thing has gone on for over five months now. There ought to be testimonials of payments received.
Yeah, I get paid daily. But we all know that you are just spamming your signature. If you were legit, you would just check his trust rating, like most members in the forum with 112 activity.

Well I didn't see any trust rating on the OP apart from it being in default setting. Or is there anywhere I missed it? Anyway, please don't take it personal but you know your spamming accusation is baseless. To counter my doubt, you may want to show us proof of the payment(s) you have received so far from this task. Thank you

8046  Economy / Services / Re: get $0.15 valued btc for simple review on: April 14, 2017, 03:46:04 AM

Neither of these transactions confirmed, Huh   So far nobodies received payment for reviews.   I get no payment I'm leaving a bad review, pretty shady stuff

Lol...

OP, Nah! I don't think anyone with a good conscience will want to embark on such a misleading review as you want people to do of a service they don't even know of, let alone use because a bounty is attached to it. I am not being moralistic here but that's the bitter truth. Conscience people!
8047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 13, 2017, 07:04:03 PM
It will be a great idea for Yo-Ex to introduce a faucet where its coins will be earned freely too. It will equally increase the level of awareness just like this signature campaign is doing.
You want yobit similar faucets for earning on daily basis ? Have you ever got chances to withdraw the coins you had received from faucets ? But unfortunately I never made any satoshi out of them. I remember I tried to convert some free altcoins but I got error message of trading volume less than 10k satoshi is not allowed.

I believe faucets on exchange is not a good idea unless otherwise there will be an option to play dicing.
[/b]

Not necessarily having the free coins on the exchange site. They might donate them to sites that can they give it out to participants. And yes, I have claimed and redeemed some satoshis. About 25,000 satoshis which was an equivalent of 25 American cents. I must admit that faucets are generally a waste of time.

8049  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 13, 2017, 11:04:29 AM
Nature itself is unpredictable and that applies to business too. It's the reason the expression,"Don't put all your eggs in one basket."  will forever remain the wisest saying in busines for me.

Yes, sometimes the temptation to go all out on a particular investment because of its juicy nature may be there. But as humans, no one can correctly  predict the future. We can only take a guess and most often than not we make bad business calls. So, it's advisable not to throw in all one's fund into one investment. Diversification is key in business.
8050  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: April 13, 2017, 06:10:04 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
It's very easy if you will dedicated yourself to work fulltime in bitcoin, for me the first way is signature campaign and then the trading because I think almost all of bitcoin user are go to trading and that is good way to make money but sometimes there's a loss in trading.
Lets see, 0.1BTC is about $122 in USD right now. Get a job that pays minimum wage in the United States and work 40 hours a week and you will have 320. That is more than twice the amount you want to earn in a week.

Some of that will be lost if you decide to convert it into Bitcoin but you will still have plenty more than $122 in bitcoin each week. Trying to make that money by working directly for Bitcoin would be much harder though. But I don’t see the point.

Exactly my thought! OP made it look like Bitcoin is way beyond reach.
8051  Economy / Services / Re: VIDEOSLOTS SIGNUP PAYMENT on: April 12, 2017, 04:36:37 PM
What do you guys expect where forum members rush over themselves to carry out any kind of task once there's a financial reward or bitcoin tied to it?  Sometimes it gets annoying as even highly ranked members who should note the red flag join in the fray and throw caution to the wind.

Ok, move on guys. The scammer has had a field day but don't let him have your mind too.
8052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you think , better time for trading ? on: April 12, 2017, 07:23:31 AM
Yes, the best time to start trading or to buy altcoins is when:
1. The bitcoin price got hyped or got high because many people selling their altcoins when bitcoin price is high and they convert it to USD then, when the Bitcoin price got low they convert it again to Bitcoins.
2. When the newbies are panic selling, as you see in the market if the altcoin is getting low value and always read the trollbox when people spreading fake news.
3. Buying cheap altcoins and researching about that coin if has a potential to increase their value.

Trading is not easy for the first try because you need alot of experience before you become successful.

It's really difficult to tell when the price is so high that it can crash. It might still be trending up in spite of being overbought. There isn't a right time to buy or sell off. For all we know some people think bitcoin is overbought now and are selling off. While some are pilling up now and expecting bitcoin to still go higher, even to $2000.
8053  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: April 12, 2017, 06:17:14 AM
Comparing Satoshi Nakamoto to Bill Gates in terms of wealth is like comparing oranges to apples. They are not match. While Gates is worth over $80billion, the total worth of Bitcoin is just $19,488,974,150 as at today. And Satoshi doesn't even hold all that worth. Maybe in the future he might worth more. But not now. Gates remains world richest.
8054  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: April 11, 2017, 11:49:10 AM
I think OP is making a mistake by tagging all MLM or  as a Ponzi scheme. The real Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) or affiliate marketing outfits do actually have tangible products they sell in addition to the referral bonuses they offer. This is quite different from schemes that encourage participants to pull money/resources or bitcoin together to grow some other participants' contribution without marketing any tangible products. That is a clear Ponzi scheme and a scam

I'd rather consider this as a disguise

In other words, if you remove this tangible asset from the whole scheme you will get the same Ponzi where the first comers receive money by selling some shit at absurd prices to the next comers. The difference is purely quantitative, one of degree. In outright scams, the tokens used for transferring value (say, MMM vouchers) are purely virtual while things used in MLM schemes are tangible and allegedly have some utility, after all. But inside, it is still the same good old pyramid scheme. It doesn't crash all at once simply because the tangible assets used there have some value on their own, i.e. their value can't fall below their true market value

Well, I don't know if I should doubt you. But all I know is that I am a participant of an MLM. And so far, so good. The company has returned almost have of what I invested within six months in products and in cash.
8055  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: April 11, 2017, 04:13:37 AM
I barely have any saved up now. You have to earn bitcoin first before saving up, right? Trying to earn bitcoin through faucets is a real waste of time and  it's even harder trading it if one wants to build up the little earned. This excessive crave for Bitcoin, I guess, makes it the new gold...Nah, oxygen!
8056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 11, 2017, 02:12:14 AM
I like the home page a great deal. It's an easy to use site. Even the http://www.yocoin.org is also cool. I wish dev will allow visitors to the site peruse it without first having to register on it. Again, is there any plan to include "lending" to it in the future as some exchange and trade sites have it?
8057  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 11, 2017, 01:25:18 AM
If anyone is going to keep money that they won't spend at the moment, I think they should invest it and not just save it. Why save it when one can make it grow by investing it and earning some residual income. But I would advised that they do not pack all into one investment. Put some into short term investment and others into long term. Keeping the money at home or in banks as savings hardly bring in interest any more.
8058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: April 10, 2017, 05:47:51 PM
No, I haven't received such. When I hear of things like this they sound like fairytales to me. Anyway, I cant be sure how I would react if I get Bitcoins from anonymous donors wrongly sent me. But I will like it  to come above 1btc when that happens.

That said, I won't invest in such a scheme knowing full well that it is a scam. A good name is better than dubiuos riches.
8060  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: April 10, 2017, 12:01:55 PM
I once was involved in forex trading and did make and withdrew a little profit from it after several loses. To that extend I will say yes people can make money trading forex. The key thing is to avoid greed and emotion by trading with money they can afford to lose. But first, learn the basics and how each currency pair moves. The market and PA (price action) should also be a focus during trading.
