8081  Economy / Exchanges / Re: AN OPEN LETTER TO CZ_BINANCE on: April 07, 2019, 06:21:50 AM
Did you really believe Binance believes in decentralization, fair opportunity and things like that? I don't think so. They need to make profits, kill competitors, and if possible conquer the exchange world. So they will do anything as long as it keeps the BNB pump continue. Not necessarily bad but if you hope Binance to give plebs a chance to get rich, that's wishful thinking imo.

IMO, the WorkLock by NuCypher is a better solution if you aim for decentralized distribution model and strong community support.
8082  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CLOVERDEX CLDX token where to exchange? on: April 07, 2019, 06:09:23 AM
The best place to ask is their Telegram group.

Judging from the transaction on Etherscan, I think there is no big exchange that listed them yet. You can try your luck with Forkdelta or Etherdelta, though I doubt the price is as good as you hope.

Most bounty tokens are worthless nowadays.
8083  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Changelly failed transaction - how long to resolve? on: April 07, 2019, 05:58:21 AM
@OP, you should give some updates if this issue had been resolve or still pending as of this moment.

He's not online since April 4, and I'm pretty sure he will post here again if the issue is not yet resolved. But I'm not surprised if he just gives up and then decides to no longer continue his complain here because that doesn't really helped his case.

Maybe contacting or posting on Changelly thread is better to get the attention he needs.

However, looking at his transaction ID, it seems that the TX itself is not valid due to insufficient funds. So maybe, Changelly doesn't hold enough funds in their hot wallet to send the USDT to OP after he exchanged it?
8084  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitsdaq exchange probably (SCAM) on: April 07, 2019, 05:53:19 AM
https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001493326-Bitsdaq-Launching-Asian-Digital-Asset-Trading-Platform-Powered-by-Bittrex

Bittrex confirmed their partnership with Bitsdaq tho. Not sure about this exchange performance in the future, but at least you can blame Bittrex if something happens.
8085  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FREEWallet.org is a SCAM on: April 07, 2019, 05:40:22 AM
We appreciate your patience and understanding. Withdrawals (including USDT) will operate normally as soon as we finish the verification, so our support team looks forward to your message.

Can you tell us on what basis you conduct an account have suspicious activity? And how did you prove that they really have suspicious activity? I think this verification is working backward. Before accusing them of suspicious activity, I expect services providers to provide the necessary evidence that supports their claim publicly (or at least to the subject).

Simply saying your account is suspicious, so we need your ID is out of my mind. Would you allow us to request the ID of the site operators/team?
8086  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: exchange don't want to withdraw my bitcoins! on: April 07, 2019, 05:33:14 AM
Seems like they're going to go full exit-scam mode at this point. Do you have ane screenshot of what you posted on their group before they banned you? Did they really ban you because you complain about your withdrawal or something else?

Their support looks really terrible, on top of that, saying that the team is busy so they can't process withdrawal is really unprofessional imo. Whatever happens, withdrawal & deposit must be processed asap even if they lack manpower.
8087  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reuben Godfrey on: April 07, 2019, 05:23:09 AM
Kepler is one of the shadiest projects born in the middle of 2017 bull run. What have they done to this date? I regret showing interest in their product. Hopefully, the next bull run won't invite people like this to make the same scam successful again.
8088  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptonews Sources on: April 07, 2019, 05:13:31 AM
If you want to get news asap, the best thing you can do is to subscribe on Reddit. Most news that was posted on major crypto news such as Coindesk was posted 1-2 hours earlier on Reddit or another social media like Twitter.

Based on one of your response you also want to find the latest news from one coin/token asap, but that is impossible unless you subscribe to every channel like Telegram ANN for each token that you want to follow. News site such as Coindeks won't post news of token/coin that is not ranked in top 100 by CMC afaik.
8089  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone knows whats going on with Bitcoinwisdom? on: April 07, 2019, 05:05:35 AM
Just checked a few mins ago and it looks like they have fixed it (I see the graph, no straight line like you mentioned on Bitfinex chart). But I use this link: https://bitcoinwisdom.io/markets/bitfinex/btcusd.

As an alternative, you can check https://cryptowat.ch/.
8090  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-04] This Bitcoin Price Rally is Masking a Serious Problem on: April 06, 2019, 05:44:53 AM
Seems like not everyone believes bitcoin could continue the run up to $6k. I personally believe that breaking $6k would require more than just TA stuff. Need some good fundamental to come up and then push the price even further.

Nevertheless, the upside push looked attractive only from the intraday perspective, for it lacked the volume required to declare a breakout action. We covered our view elaboratively here, discussing three converging bearish factors that could withhold bitcoin gains from flourishing any further.

Seems like the lack of volume doesn't affect the price too much atm. Bitcoin is pretty comfortable sitting at $5k position.
8091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins Price and Network Activity Edging Each Other on: April 06, 2019, 05:34:25 AM
At the beginning it was always intended that Bitcoin’s user growth and price should move in tandem. Lately this has proven to not be the case as the price has been left in the dust by the user growth over the last eight weeks.

Defining user growth with the number of wallets is a bit naive. You don't know how many people actually use crypto actively, and one person can have more than 10 address. I think determining how many people are actively participating in the crypto ecosystem by looking at the number of active trades in exchange is better than looking at how many addresses were created/has transaction history.
8092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do this if you don't to be dragged to different telegram ICOs on: April 05, 2019, 11:58:03 PM
Another option is to not add any username. Never engage in any bounty or airdrop campaign and join any crypto related channel/group. If you do those, it is likely that you won't get added by random people to crypto group/channel.
8093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Create Your Ethereum Token - Create ERC20 Token on: April 05, 2019, 11:16:25 PM
Posting this on Service Announcements (Altcoins Board) or Services should give you better exposure. IMO also add your portfolio if there's any directly on your thread so the potential customer won't need to contact you first. That is definitely a plus (especially if you have a verifiable portfolio).
8094  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN][SSX] SOMESING | Kampanye Bounty Youtube SOMESING on: April 05, 2019, 02:04:22 PM

8095  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Q&A][TIPS] Seputar Bounty/Airdrop Di Sini on: April 05, 2019, 01:50:32 PM
Belakangan sepertinya Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) mulai menggantikan Initial Coin Offering (ICO) ya?

8096  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any way to recover gmail? on: April 05, 2019, 01:38:48 PM
Whenever you change your email  address, the forum allows the old email owner to lock the account within 15 days as a preventive measure.
So at worst, the hacker will lock your account.

By the suggestion of one hero member i stake my BTC address. Hope it will work and i think this thread will be a strong proof for this issue.

When did you stake it? Before this incident or after it? If after it, then I doubt it is really a strong proof. Do you have any previous posted bitcoin address that you still control right now? Maybe add a signed message from that address too.
8097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FOR THE NEWBIES on: April 05, 2019, 01:24:48 PM
Minor correction though. FUD = Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. Here is a comprehensive list:

[1] Cryptocurrency Lingo/Slang
[2] Terminology

Should have merged this topic with the existing one, or maybe just comment it there. No need to create a new thread about it with more or less the same content.
8098  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Old bitcoin history: @johoe return 870 BTC to the owners on: April 05, 2019, 01:20:05 PM
I don't think a VIP status would be appropriate based on that recognition was made for donations which he isn't one.
Hal gets a free VIP rank. [Do I need to move this topic to meta board?]

Hal got free VIP rank because he contribute to the development and he has done some great writing on this forum. Not sure if johoe could get the same treatment but I do agree he needs some sort of appreciation (he got trust already). I think as long as community members agree on it, or if theymos feels okay to do so, then that status will come sooner or later.
8099  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-03]Crypto Exchange Halts Services due to Indian Regulations on: April 05, 2019, 01:02:54 PM
Another one bite the dust. Not really unexpected since India is not really friendly to crypto. But if they have enough funds, they can simply move out to other countries like what Binance did and continue their 'freedom' of operation here. Sadly not everyone think and has power like Binance.
8100  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019.03.28] 14% of Major Crypto Exchanges Are Licensed by Regulators on: April 05, 2019, 12:39:20 PM
Are you going to fully trust an exchange that says we have no problems, screaming "fake news" and the next day is fleeing to some off-shore heaven?
I will certainly not!

If somebody trust what an exchange says, then they don't have full experience on crypto yet. It is hard to trust anyone in this space, better learn how to verify and manage or mitigate any risk that we found. Don't "like" an exchange too much, ask them for more transparency and if they can't provide adequate transparency, then it's time to move on.
