Usually when the 1 set is lost and the player retires in the second they would count this as a loss for most sportsbooks since the first set has been completed.
But the websites rules vary so you can contact the one you placed a bet on to verify if it is indeed a loss or if it voids the bet. Then it would return your wagered amount if this is the case.
As avirunes mentioned it differs from each bookie which whom you bet with.
I remember betting on a site called directbet and their rules for some matches were different then another site I was wagering on the same game but they graded them differently. I think because directbet was in europe so their rules were different from the other site which was in central america.

Not a good day indeed, and even the last pick that you have mentioned, even without CJ, Blazers still managing 16 points leads before the last quarter, though chances still there for the pacers they have still a whole fourth quarter to make the rally and try to snatch this game. Another ordinary day, knowing gambling always accompanied by risk. , the rest of the game, it's Blazers who are controlling the tempo. This proves that Pacers are not really a good road team, if you look at their record, you will see that they are dominant at home but don't play good on the road. This is when I placed a bet live on the home team to win it cause they are very good at home. They were down 18 to 29 at this point so the odds were juiced so high it was hard not to take them to win it cause if you watch their games you know they know how to win it in the clutch final minutes of the game. This is why they are a playoffs team knowing when to foul and when not to. I also loss tonight, was thinking that without CJ they will struggle but they didn't.
Other players also step up tonight, they don't let the absence of CJ affect their game, it's just a bad day for all of us here who shared picks.
CJ is not all the trailblazers have so they can win without him unlike so many other teams who cant cope with an injury to even one of their top players. Just like the raptors tonight. Spurs have been on fire, won 8 in a row now. I mean Derozan is still not the Raptors Derozan we all know but Spurs decided to focus more on Derrick White instead of focusing on Derozan and trying to fix him somehow. They really really do need a decent forward for their team but honestly with just a all-star level forward which they could get if they just trade Derozan to another team they could become a championship contender.
Think about it, they have Derrick White, Dejounte Murray, Patty Mills, Lonnie Walker, Bryn Forbes and so forth all great guards in their positions plus Aldridge and Poeltl on Bigs so all they need is a decent forward lineup and they will be really dangerous to whoever they face. If Kawhi didn't left just for one more season and they had no injured players I bet they could have challenged Warriors even this year with that lineup.
San antonio are just trashing the warriors right now and are 50 - 38 nearly into ending the first half. Looks like they are not quite in playoff mode just yet. Will see if they can recover in the second half and in the fourth quarter like they always seem to do to pull their games out of the fire. Warriors always recovers, the chemistry might change a bit because Durant cam back and Bogut already played. The spurs should not be underestimated as they are winning lately, it's their chance to prove that they can match with the depending champ. Well in the final Federer lost and also Kerber lost from the women side.
Thiem had an excellent tour. Lucky me that I did not bet in the final or I would go with Federer. I did have a bet for Kerber to win in final, Thiem to win in semi and Federer to win in semi. The last two were ok but Kerber lost the final and with that I lost my bet LOL.
By the way, Andreescu is playing in WTA Miami. She has a match tomorrow against Begu who is 70 in ranking. Andreescu should get an easy win after winning the Indian Wells title.

It was definitely a very surprising tournament and having federer losing just sealed the deal for the wackiest tournament I have ever seen up until the finals match for the mens. I didnt even notice thiem until the quarterfinals cause during the past two years I have been watching his progress slowly going down hill. But he has managed to sharpen his tennis awareness enough and strengthen it with experience to defeat the biggest name in the atp to date. Kudos to him on an excellent match as well. |
