8081  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Online Bitcoin wallet with lowest transaction fees on: February 28, 2017, 04:26:04 PM
Well, I don't think you can get both "cheap" and "fast" because the higher the fees are, the faster the transaction will get confirmed. I use btc.com and I'm really satisfied, my transaction always go through fast enough and I consider the fees are not that high (never paid anything more then 0.0005 BTC) but again everything is based on the calculations done on the size of the transaction.
8082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else hopes the ETF does NOT pass? on: February 28, 2017, 03:40:32 PM
I used to have the exact same idea as you in the past, but I decided to change my goals. I mean even with the current rates , 21 BTC is something achievable but really hard to get and waiting more years doesn't really worth it, If bitcoin doesn't progress and get more demand, this will only mean that its a failure so I would prefer seeing it rising and getting more users rather then being on the 1 million club for the moment.
8083  Other / Politics & Society / Germany Recorded Over 3,500 Attacks Against Refugees Last Year on: February 28, 2017, 02:18:18 PM
Germany witnessed more than 3,500 attacks against refugees and their accommodations in 2016, according to a report by the interior ministry. This comes at a time when the country is divided over Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open-door policy for asylum seekers.

8084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Discussion] Bitcoin ETF on: February 28, 2017, 01:38:24 PM
We are assuming the ETF does get accepted for this bull run to occur however. Delays are no longer possible and the final decision is indeed to be made March 11th, but what if it's denied? Will this lead to a dump? Are we going to see three figures again?

I believe so, because If everyone is buying right now for the sole purpose of making profit when the price increase after ETF gets approved, they will obviously get disappointed and sell everything they bought.
8085  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin and crypto coin logos for project? on: February 28, 2017, 11:43:20 AM
Coinmarketcap don't let you get them as well but how hard is it? The pictures are based on the name of the coin (and that's something you could retrieve) then you add the extension to the URL which is .png each time. You could get them directly from coinmarketcap or save them in your PC and retrieve them the same way.

8086  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: February 27, 2017, 04:53:11 PM
What is the hosting plan that you are using to run your website? Is increasing the stats of the host will make things faster or that's totally up to the algorithm you are using?
8087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: New computer on: February 26, 2017, 05:05:03 PM
Everything should be stored in your AppData folder (It's mostly the wallet.dat what you need). %appdata%/Bitcoin
8088  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 26, 2017, 02:30:00 PM
I'm so disappointed, I had my e-coin visa card lost so I ordered a new one and I got a mastercard instead which can't be used with Paypal, money lost.

You stopped offering VISA physical ?

Yes, they stopped offering it a few months back. If you want to verify your PayPal account or to withdraw funds then you can always take the virtual card. (Visa available)
8089  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: February 26, 2017, 12:32:03 PM
When are you guys going to list TIME Tokens (ChronoBank) ? I heard you will be the first ones but Mercatox already added it while you didn't yet.
8090  Economy / Exchanges / Coinbase.com Account hacked ? on: February 26, 2017, 11:02:27 AM
I was sleeping and today when I woke up, I found an SMS from Coinbase about my security code. I didn't connect or used Coinbase for months so It's impossible for whoever got access to my account to have a malware in my PC.
I also have no balance on my account as I don't trust these kind of services to hold my bitcoins for me, but I just thought I should let you guys know because probably the Cloudflare leak has something to do with it.
8091  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Exchange platform in Morocco/africa on: February 26, 2017, 06:03:44 AM
I'm from Algeria myself and I can understand the fear behind your hesitations, compared to other countries I guess both our countries and Tunisia are very open to the bitcoin idea and running an exchange could be successful If done right.
I have never tried peatio so I can't tell how good is it , as for the difficulties then I guess you should make sure you have the proper funding before starting anything, you don't want to run out of supply a few days after running and I highly suggest not storing everything in hot wallets otherwise there is a risk of getting hacked.
8092  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Post your SegWit questions here - open discussion - big week for Bitcoin! on: February 25, 2017, 05:09:10 PM
I hate to say that but 95% is unlikely to happen in the next a few months, If we never succeed to reach that percentage , what's going to happen and until when this SegWit signalling process should remain active ? (whatever It takes) ? because It literally could take forever.

SegWit voting will continue till block #491904. U may follow the progress @ http://segwit.co

I see, and If we fail to activate until then (I'm interested in knowing how much months/years this would take), another alternative will proposed for the miners ?

8094  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-24] How Specifically The EU & US Intend To Tax Your Bitcoin on: February 25, 2017, 03:19:16 PM
Who's fault is that ? It's the bitcoiners fault clearly. The exchanges are simply having a business and should follow the laws otherwise they get screwed. If there is anyone to blame here then that would be the community, exchanges are simply making bitcoin more and more centralized and less pseudonymous and someone who is using bitcoin for something other then making profit only should understand this.
8095  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i want to know more about campaign!! on: February 25, 2017, 02:52:20 PM
At your rank (newbie), you can't really join any signature campaign that make you earn something decent. It's simple to understand though, people are wearing signatures for services and getting paid for it, It's advertising just like the ones you see on websites but those are on the signatures of users.

Only campaign taking newbies at the moment is WhyFuture as you can see on the full list[1]. You must first apply on the campaign thread and wait for the manager/owner answer (If you got accepted or denied). Finally, I suggest reading the general guidelines[2] so you don't get banned.

8096  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: February 25, 2017, 02:27:57 PM
I'm not sure If it worth adding or not but there is wblockchain.info which is being sold[1] right now on the Digital goods section. The seller clearly mentioned that It's for phishing attempts and I don't see any other reason why would people buy the domain name.

8097  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BitMixer.io SCAM? on: February 25, 2017, 01:51:27 PM
The reddit account says Btcmixer.io and not Bitmixer.io and those are two different services , In fact that website is making a phishing attempt to catch users who use Bitmixer.
I'm not saying this because I'm wearing their signature but all the other links provided have lack of information's and no one actually posted a proof that they got scammed. It's being some years since they are running and advertising on the forums and I see no reason why would scam people over small amounts.
8098  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WHERE CAN I SELL AMAZON GIFT CARD E-CODE AGC e-code? on: February 25, 2017, 01:21:36 PM
Bitcointalk is a good place for selling Amazon gift cards, you shouldn't find any problem selling your GC at 75-80% of the real price  (50$ GC for 40$ or so), make a [WTS] thread including your rate and payment methods and wait till someone replies.
8099  Economy / Exchanges / Re: evolve.markets - can they be trusted? on: February 25, 2017, 01:15:16 PM
I read a review[1] about them on newsbtc a few days ago and I guess you should check it out but I would suggest not getting involved too much in a new service as things could easily turn out to a scam, better safe stay and not deposit large amounts until It turns out that the service is 100% legit.

8100  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by hero member Darkwinde on: February 24, 2017, 07:28:24 AM
The account probably got hacked , he didn't post for a long time (since 19th January) after changing his password on 20th February, he starting posting again.

Quote
February 20, 2017, 04:47:08 AM - Darkwinde - password changed

He could've simply sell the account and get more then 25$ but the fact that he decided to scam instead means that he is not able to provide a signed message to sell his account which again , makes me think that this account got hacked.
