6 months is good and long for newbies and you don't have to choice between bitcoin and ETH, they are good both contenders for holding that long.

And what do you mean by other coins? If you think that you have to add some other alts on your portfolio, go with IOTA and Zcash.

There's nothing wrong for promoting AI's it is a sort of test and it depends on how you'll take that AI seriously. And with the rewarding system, it is only applicable for PvP not against AI.

Miners will still mine anyway when the total supply of bitcoin has reached, they will mine for the confirmation and will earn through fees.

We have to take time for resolving the current issues that we are facing and that is with the miners fee, it is too high now since the value of bitcoin is starting to increase too.

Holding bitcoin is a good practice of patience. While you are holding your bitcoin there is another thing that you are doing and that is to be patient for better profit to come in the future.

You need to download the entire chain for you to be able to use bitcoin core but you have some other choices like electrum and greenaddress.

Currently I'm using electrum and it's an easy wallet and user friendly. I did tried to use bitcoin core too but I don't have enough time downloading the entire network.

Every hour there is a movement for the price of bitcoin and yes if this will continue we might see $30k - $40k easily.

But just like what's with the flow of bitcoin today it showed a little bit of falling but that's just a minor fall since every price increase it was followed with it.
