It's currently one of the most entertaining spammy spots on the web board, the way it is. Don't be so butthurt! nice, burn it with fire!
FTFY. No, seriously, just avoid that section and keep reporting those that are unable to find it.

Hier die Nachricht von themyos dazu: It's best to include it naturally in a post. But if you can't, you can send a PM to an account that won't delete it (you could use DefaultTrust for this). After you send it, check your outbox and make a note of the PM's ID (visible in the quote URL). -snip-
Beispiel: -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- My account Shorena has NOT been hacked/lost. Please DO NOT reset the email to. The current date is 9th of January 2015 and this is just an example. The address I used to sign this message can NOT be found in a PM to DefaultTrust with the ID #secret, because Id like to keep this a secret.
[1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=917636.0[2] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=122551

True.
gmx is a german website so it's only logical to assume that the gmx exploit affects mostly germans.
Yes, I changed my mailaddress/password for the board after reading this thread. Just to be safe. Edit: I also posted a warning in the german section, link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=918752.0

Quoting two unreplied questions. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That's great! Blocktrail is becoming better day by day. Just a simple question, using PHP, can this be used for faucets?
Do you have any plan to include a "broadcast raw transaction" function on blocktrail like the one on blockchain.info and blockr.io?
~~MZ~~ It takes time for them to reply here[1], might be better to just send a mail[2]. [1] check the post dates here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756279.msg9289621#msg9289621[2] https://www.blocktrail.com/about

Yes, my last payment was for 7.1.2015 ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I did not understand yet how the payment works. Sometimes it seems to be daily, sometime once in two days. Its manual. We will be switching to automatic withdrawal processing within 1 week. Everything is taking longer than usual right now due to the Holidays, but everything will be back on track on Monday.

one coin one wallet. be v careful when downloading and running altcoin wallets as they almost all contain coin-stealing trojans.
Multidoge is fine, Electrum for Litecoin is fine... it greatly depends on the coin.

This post in itself would be ban evasion.
AFAIK, people are allowed to register a new account to ask about their ban here in meta. If they don't use their new account (posting or sending PM) outside meta, it won't be considered as a ban evasion. Yes, asking in meta about the status of the ban is fine. -snip- Everything you said was right. I did break unintentionally and inadvertently the rules of the forums. I respect the decision of the admins. But I would ask them to reconsider about it.
Thank you
You allready got your answer when you "demanded"[1] your ban to be lifted. No.
No.
Sir, can I ask you why? bad English, for one. also being too impatient to wait 7 days. [1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881140.0

To help you remember: take ginseng ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) blll ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Why should a newbie trust you or me? Because he would be better of if he trusted the majority of experienced users more than the advice of a random selection of users. If you or me are scammers, that won't matter as long as the majority of us "veterans" are not.
Sure, but scammers don't profit from leaving feedback. They profit from not having negative feedback.
Fair enough. I think I start to see the point behind your suggestion. Leave positive feedback wherever he "hit" and wherever we like. But even if not, would it matter? Let pirateat40 leave negative feedback. So what? That's only a problem as long as there's very little feedback at all, which is the one thing we should really change. Encourage people to leave feedback more often.
While I like the notion of leaving more feedback, I think it should also be backed by a reason. I usually give very little about ratings without a reference.
|
|
|
Why would you need the trust system?
I wasnt refering to me personally, but since you are asking: to help me remember. What I tried to say is: why should a newbie trust me or any other Sr.+? So why would it matter if someone you don't necessarily trust showed up "green" in this system?
Because in your system feedback by ScammerHero[1] would count as x2 regardless of his trustworthyness. Either that or there is more to it you did not explain, because you also say: If somebody really gamed the system, "we" would notice and should leave him negative feedback, which would easily counter his efforts.
which would not change the weigth of the scammers rating if I understood your proposal correctly. If our ScammerHero now runs around and leaves negative feedback because "reasons", what could "we" do about it? [1] This is meant to be a generic well known scammer with the rank of a Hero Member. Any resemblance to real persons is purely coincidental.
|
|
|
How about a much more straightforward approach?
Get rid of the trust list, just treat each and every feedback the same, but weighted by the rank of the person who gave the feedback. E.g.: Newbie: x0 Jr.: x0 Full.: x0 Sr.: x1 Hero: x2 Legendary: x4 Staff: x8 (or whatever)
Give users the option to change these settings, i.e. one might chose to ignore ratings from anything below Hero and set Hero to x100, Legendary x1000 and Staff x0 (if they don't like staff) ;-)
That way, it'll be difficult to gather a lot of "fake" feedback, and it will be easy to counter by a small number of more experienced users.
Thats a bit broad isnt it? I dont trust all Sr. Members alike. In fact the rank has very little to do with the amount of trust a person deserves in my opinion. The rank just says: has been here long, posts a lot. Thats not what makes someone trustworthy, at least not in my book. It could also be gamed / bought. It would certainly raise the price of Sr. and higher ranks which might make this infeasible.

Hi all, I am newbie with bitcoin. I am trying execute createrawtransaction function. But I can't see what each params are. In manual -------------------- createrawtransaction [{"txid":txid,"vout":n},...] {address:amount,...}
Create a transaction spending given inputs (array of objects containing transaction outputs to spend), sending to given address(es). Returns the hex-encoded transaction in a string. Note that the transaction's inputs are not signed, and it is not stored in the wallet or transmitted to the network.
Also note that NO transaction validity checks are done; it is easy to create invalid transactions or transactions that will not be relayed/mined by the network because they contain insufficient fees. -------------------
but I can't understand what is txid,
txid = transaction ID, e.g. 2c43f351a43be08df9efe38ac040d73e757593b2c43aba48cf016dd7dc433b1b link: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/2c43f351a43be08df9efe38ac040d73e757593b2c43aba48cf016dd7dc433b1bvout.
Is the ID of of the output of the transaction. A transaction can have more than one output, thus you need to point at which output exactly you want to spend. What mean address:amount,
address refers to the address of the receiving party amount refers to the amount of bitcoins you want to transfer. Keep in mind that the sum of all inputs will be spend even if your output is smaller. Whatever is left will go to the miners as fee. Thus 1x 2 BTC input, 1x 1 BTC output = 1 BTC fee. what meaning ",...".
etc. It means there is no limit of the number of outputs you can create or the number of inputs you can use. I would appreciate for help.
