Collapsing faster than we've seen ever before, get out while you can now!
That must have been one quick collapse, calls it the bubble that went sideways Then back up again to the moon

Simply put AM is a wait and see company in my opinion From the strong result last year to a fundamentals company but with no cash to distribute one can look at it like a traditional non paying stock and try and value it based on just assets, which seems like what the market is doing at present.

Scientists achieve quantum teleportation breakthrough that could prove Einstein wrong. Quantum Teleportation has the potential to bring about a more secure mechanism of data storage when applied to technologies Rather than a series of bits labeled in 1s and 0s This may be a key step into Quantum communications with accurate teleportation of quantum information a key step towards building quantum networks exponentially more powerful and secure than today’s supercomputers. While regular computers store information in bits (signals which exist as only a 0 or a 1) quantum computing uses ‘qubits’ which can hold multiple values at the same time. Getting these bits to communicate with one another as the physicists at Delft say they have could then be key to making an unhackable network of quantum computers. "The main application of quantum teleportation is a quantum version of the internet, extending a global network that we can use to send quantum information," said Professor Hanson. "What you're doing is using entanglement as your communication channel. The information is teleported to the other side, and there's no way anyone can intercept that information." Einstein himself doubted the existence of quantum entanglement, a phenomenon in which particles located as far away as opposite sides of the universe remain inextricably linked. Whatever happens to one particle instantaneously happens to the other like a quantum-powered Voodoo doll. So is teleportation the evolved future of Bitcoin and its related technologies or is that a question that only time can tell. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/scientists-achieve-quantum-teleportation-breakthrough-that-could-prove-einstein-wrong-9462053.htmlhttp://www.engadget.com/2014/05/30/physicists-claim-reliability-breakthrough-in-quantum-teleportati/As a bonus Bitcoin blocks are generated every 10 minutes as Satoshi programmed it to and In the Maryland experiments though, this one-in-a-100-million success rate still meant that a qubit of information took only 10 minutes to successfully transfer. This gives some indication of the staggering speeds at which even the most basic elements of a quantum computer function. Coincidence Edit: Agree with the comments in the thread Einstein didn't say it was impossible just highly unlikely

I guess this is a final farewell to the btct days Activeminer died a much slower death than labcoin but nonetheless it was a failed asset
"The fact that somebody is selling investments through Bitcoin rather than traditional currency doesn't change their obligations to investors, and I encourage Missourians to call my office before making any Bitcoin investments," Kander said in the release. "Investors have a right to know the full set of facts about both an investment and its backer, including the risks, profit-generating strategy and pertinent financial history."
Additionally, Kander said Slaughter should have advised investors of relevant complaints against Slaughter and his previous company, Active Internet Communications.
Glad this investigation yielded a result though for the investors in Activemining

Literally a day before the Apple news came out. Should I just sell it and keep my iphone 5s?
It depends on your preference if you want to experiment with the Samsung why not that said if you have a 30 day return period and want to save some money returning the phone makes sense. That said I am not an apple person so would say stick with Samsung but finances come into play so that bias says if you have a spare phone and don't need it return it pocket the money and use it on something else you can benefit from.

I think coming back here 65 years later to say you were wrong would kind of be ironic It means that bitcoin was around at least 65 years and the forum kept an archive of the thread that long Anyways a doom and gloom prediction should be in the next 5 years or less in my opinion otherwise its unfair Kind of like saying the USA will default someday sure but the question is when I say within 20 years if nothing is changed otherwise switch to mulit currency system or Bitcoin and virtual currencies being that sector

The Summer Rally! is progressing well as new short-term highs have been coming almost every day. The drop from $660+ to $600 was "scary", but it recovered fast and is testing the recent high soon. It's going up faster than it came down.. Soon 666$ thread will pop up again.
Good call, the 24 hour high at btc-e is currently $665. Tssk I'm a bit disappointed that it missed $666 the number by 1 dollar Well there is always tommorrow Anyways bit curious I see 668 on BTC-E not 665 High: 668.416 USD

A bet that no one else but Mark Williams would take now if he put his money where his mouth is this would have been an interesting bet. However since he did not we can just have fun poking at him Now I wish they would change the economics books sigh teaching a whole generation of bad economists

An open court trial would be very interesting.
I don't think that the CIA will permit an open trial for Snowden. There is too much of classified information at stake. The CIA will raise objection and everything will be conducted secretly. I agree the CIA would force the judge to not include evidence in the trial. Sometimes deciding what is not fit for the trial or applicable to it can make or break the result.

If we do extrapolation using data from 2009 till now, you only need less than 1 bitcoin to become extremely wealthy in 20 years.
So buy 10. That sounds about right a penny saved is a penny earned so A bitcoin saved could be a fortune later That or try an altcoin lol Then again a penny saved is $0.0094 earned after adjusting for inflation. Touche Taras I should clarify that a Penny Saved in a non inflationary society is a penny earned In Bitcoin this occurs in 2140 But fine tries another quote It's just like the magic penny hold it tight and you won't have any Lend it spend it and you'll have so many they will roll all over the floor

I would say China was the main factor involved in the rising bitcoin prices during November 2013 The breaker was mtgox and several legal regulations regarding Bitcoin being set Although the USA senate hearings were part of the bull run at that time.

Let's assume all upcoming news are great. At what point would you dump like share price’s 4 again?
If I woke up tomorrow and shares were selling for 4 BTC, I would sell over half of my shares. While I applaud your enthusiasm, I cannot foresee the share price hitting 4+ BTC ever again with the exchange rate and increased competition. Would be nice though, wouldn't it? One can always dream although I think raking in 10 times profits seems more than reasonable from these levels Let alone 20

Few quick updates.
W. Mill - There have been some somewhat major issues with the heating/cooling and plumbing. Tenants are weeding out the issues, all due to it being a 134 year old home, there was a sewage backup and our guys got sprayed with.....stuff. Cost us a few hundred bucks to fix all the problems.
I just imagined that it sounded really unpleasant to say the least. Thanks for always keeping us up to date and keep up the good work (And bring goggles and a facemask for stuff...)

Yeah, this guy can give us work for years to come How come stupid people become famous all the time? Your guess is as good as mine on that topic but guys like that will definitely keep you busy ^_^ Goes with an idiot quote “When people lack true culture or are devoid of innovative ideas, they speak about wine, various brands of alcoholic beverages, or the quality of soap.” ― Dimitris Mita And a fractional reserve economist quote A mathematician, an accountant and an economist apply for the same job. The interviewer calls in the mathematician and asks "What do two plus two equal?" The mathematician replies "Four." The interviewer asks "Four, exactly?" The mathematician looks at the interviewer incredulously and says "Yes, four, exactly." Then the interviewer calls in the accountant and asks the same question "What do two plus two equal?" The accountant says "On average, four - give or take ten percent, but on average, four." Then the interviewer calls in the economist and poses the same question "What do two plus two equal?" The economist gets up, locks the door, closes the shade, sits down next to the interviewer and says, "What do you want it to equal"? Good collection http://www3.nd.edu/~jstiver/jokes.htm

Well you guys could try more technical things like second level protocols for dummies or sidechains for dummies Break it down so people are able to understand what they are and clear any misconceptions before they arise Talk about Ethererum, Mastercoin, Maidcoin, Sidechains Blockchain compression etc.
This series is targeted for the mainstream and Bitcoin. You have to keep your focus, right? Possibly but in a sense development is dynamic and never static That said I found a good series of myths from economist Mark T Williams you can break down http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/mark-t-williams-bitcoin/2014/02/17Got some goodies like Bitcoin Developers and Miners are Central Bankers Bitcoins are Too Volatile Bitcoin Has a Software Flaw A Cyber Attack Triggered a Flash Crash Down to $102 Bitcoiners are Commodity Traders Bitcoin is Illegal in China, Iceland, Russia, Thailand, and India Bitcoin is for Money Laundering and Tax Evasion, Not a Failsafe Financial Innovation Bitcoin Has Flawed Software, Has No Trading Infrastructure, and Should Be Tightly Controlled And yes that was a snub on him

I am not a great cook. The only dishes which I can prepare are:
1. Bread omelette 2. Cheese toast 3. Fruit salad.
Think you can expand on that list and add potato salad all you need is some potatoes and cheese Then throw in some fruits for variety raisins etc.
