8141  Economy / Economics / Re: I think Bitcoin is the biggest bubble and ponzi in the universe or it isn't? on: April 12, 2021, 08:52:51 PM
As usual, when somebody misses the train, he complains and tells negativities to just let go of what he feels about it. Have you forgotten about how mining works?
It's one of the backends why bitcoin is valuable, think about how much energy consumption that it got for its network to keep going. It's like the gold reserve of bitcoin.
8142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 12, 2021, 08:32:11 PM
Players and coaches are willing, so most likely we will see a PBA bubble soon, we are just waiting for the formal announcement.

Cone willing to go through another 'mentally wearing' PBA bubble
He should be willing because he was successful last bubble, and since Fajardo has not fully recovered yet, I'm guessing Ginebra will again win in this set up.
Yeah, just a formal announcement, and all of our expectations and speculations would be filled by that one huge announcement. Everyone agrees with the bubble setup because it's the best idea that they can do these days.
They're in a very situational event and it's still timely to do it, they don't have to imitate the NBA that most of them are back to their own courts because the situation is different and they've got more vaccines than us.
8143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy Coins on: April 12, 2021, 08:04:07 PM
Monero is the best on its portion. There's no need to debate on it, there are other privacy coins that can also be said as a good privacy coin but nothing beats Monero.
And I think many will agree with that statement about XMR. It's the most beloved privacy coin of everyone.
8144  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversifying with REITs - buy a prison :) on: April 12, 2021, 07:44:24 PM
I've been interested to invest in REITs and the ones that mostly being offered in our country are condominiums. I'm surprised to hear that you can do that with prisons and I find it odd.

I like REITs and own some shares of Realty Income - The Monthly Dividend Company, . They do not invest in prisons but in commercial properties subject to long-term, net lease agreements.

Ideally, I will complement this in the future with a rental house, as REITs, although they are an interesting and profitable investment option, are still paper assets.
I'm thinking of it if I can't make it with REITs then that's the best option is to have an own house for rent to have passive income. Although, this needs more capital and a good location.
8145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is being done with the exchange CoinBene ? on: April 12, 2021, 07:19:59 PM
Did they require you for the KYC because of that? on their telegram, message the admin and ask them to assist you. Are you just chatting on the group and not messaging the admin? you should've messaged the admin or staff so that they can assist with what you're problematic about. But beware about the scammers that imitates them.
And about wallet maintenance, not on their exchange but usually it's that the coin's network itself that the devs are having trouble and that's why they're also affected but in your case, for that long, it's still on maintenance? that's really odd.
8146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with LTC ! on: April 12, 2021, 06:17:25 PM
why people still believe in LTC in today's market.
The community that supports it seems stable and that's why many are still believing in it. Just like how Dogecoin has been abandoned yet keeps going on despite being made as a meme coin, it's still a good coin as an investment. Even without good news about it, don't be surprised if it pumps a bit during this bull run.
8147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: April 12, 2021, 03:35:10 PM
"...Because several of the youths involved in crypto currency will end being unemployed.."
<sniP>
But regardless of it, I respect all of the religion and if they don't look at bitcoin in a positive manner, we need to wait for them until they change their stance or we should remain to respect them with that.
IMO, I don't see reasons to wait for such humans all becasue of their believes that are contrary against trending events. We have moved from the stone age to technological age and they (religions leaders) should understand with this movement to blend with the norms of this generation. Should we constantly keep ourselves from embracing new technologies when need arises? we needed a cashless policy and we had one, then boom religions leaders will swig into action by reading different meanings for such techs and preach their loyalist against it. No need to wait for anyone, they should join us soon!!.
Who knows if there are religious leaders who are already aware of the newer technologies that lie around on the internet. They'll embrace it soon when they're ready and we can't really do something with that if they can take action as much as we want and as quick as they want to.
There's no need to rush, just like the other people that are still doubtful about bitcoin, we can't do something with them if they don't really want to.
8148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Exchange for a first Listing on: April 12, 2021, 03:08:32 PM
binance is a very good entry point. you are already hitting the top exchange. if the OP believes their project is strong, they can always tap their opportunities in binance. afaik, they are not charging listing fee because they only ask for donation and goes fully to charitable organisations. but if they are aiming to be in a DEX, binance has DEX as well and you can just check their requirements on their site. dont look for third party that will do that for you, because you may end up being screwed and lost your funds for listing. communicate directly to the team
Surely it is. Yes, they won't ask for a fee if they find your project as a top tier but about the donation? that's the first time that I've heard about it.
Most of the exchanges are asking for a fee for each project that wants to be with them but hearing such, I don't think that how it goes.
8149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 12, 2021, 02:16:37 PM
Maybe I didn't get the exchange feature here in the Stake the first time I tried to play here. What percentage do they charge for this service? Do they have a statement as to why they removed it? If it helps, maybe they should return it.

I would have liked to try it they call Dinabot but I can't get it, I'm confused.
There's none IIRC. AFAIK, integrated exchanges are provided by a third-party service and they have their own rates but totally different from the usual rates on exchanges.

Maybe they could've got other plans, like the recent addition of buying cryptocurrency through third party service providers.
Yeah, maybe they have better plans and I get it why when I've visited it and wanting to exchange, I thought that it's just an internal error.
8150  Economy / Services / Re: Centralised Exchange Looking for Signal Group Leaders on: April 12, 2021, 01:19:55 PM
What does that mean? you're partnering with a signal group and they should mention your exchange as the exchange where they're trading?
Hmmmmmm.  Roll Eyes
8151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum GAS fee so high? on: April 12, 2021, 10:58:29 AM
As far as I know, high gas fees are caused by the number of transaction within a timeframe.
If there are a lot of transactions happening in the network, it will really make the fee to be up.

But as what I've read recently, ETH 2.0 will be a great help to reduce as hasten transaction on the blockchain.
It will and hope that it will really solve scalability issues.

Just to ask... how can I able to see how much gas fee will be needed for a particular input?
Your wallet will have its own estimation for your transfer but you can use this website too for checking.

8152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB price on: April 12, 2021, 10:10:12 AM
Bnb is pumping insanely right now it's over $600 now and it still pumping, I guess we all underestimated bnb when it was at just $30,i think bnb has out performed so many altcoins on the market, the recent rise could be because the amount of projects on the BSC has grown tremendously within this year due to eth high gas fees,I expect bnb to reach the $1000 mark before June.
I did underestimated it months ago but not anymore today. It has reached $600 in an instant today but also dumped to $545 quickly and then goes $571 after a few minutes.
It seems that there are a lot of traders that are playing with this coin while the holders remain calm as they've already made profit from it and won't stop so they still hold it.
8153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to Poker on: April 11, 2021, 11:24:00 PM
Edit: I'm just regarding games that you can play PvP and not against a house-edge-casino.. Wink
This could be a setup that you personally will make and have a match against another opponent but hard to find that kind of platform that will do that for you.

There is always blockchain based splinterlands and alien worlds.

https://splinterlands.com/
https://alienworlds.io/

Splinterlands is a PvP browser based card game similar to pokemon, yugioh or magic the gathering. Their site hosts tournaments where money and prizes can be won(like poker). Cards double as NFTs thanks to their limited production being certified and validated by blockchain. There are also a few different exchanges/markets where cards can be bought or sold. Which opens up very small (ARB) arbitrage opportunities for those interested in trading. The same card might sell at $0.05 in one market and $0.06 in another. Which could make it possible to buy a card at $0.05. Move it to the other market and sell for $0.06 to make a small profit.

I didn't expect much but splinterlands is actually a very good game IMO.

Alien worlds I have no experience with. But plan to try later when I can.
Wow, didn't know that there's one that exists through a browser. It's easier because it's on the browser as it doesn't require to download. I'll check that splinterlands. Thank you.
8154  Economy / Speculation / Re: small price correction after this bullrun on: April 11, 2021, 10:25:44 PM
If they can no longer buyback, they have an option to reinvest it to another crypto that they trust and think has a good future too. There are plenty of those only if they are that type of investor. But if they aren't, that's too bad for them if they're not going to buy back bitcoin.
Another option is to reinvest the cash they've took to another asset but no longer in crypto but in other traditional assets like real estate, bonds, stocks, gold, etc.
8155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: April 11, 2021, 09:43:03 PM
It is a fact that it won't last forever that everything will still remain bullish. I've taken profit even before bitcoin hits $50k-$60k and I don't regret taking it. Although I've got a bigger profit if I did but that's fine, I've held those coins during the bull run and it's a relief to see that I've sold more than the price when I've been holding. But, this bull run isn't ending soon based on its movement, and likely that we're going to see more peaks very soon.
8156  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 11, 2021, 09:14:34 PM
Right, KYC is only enforced if needed so. But don't worry about those that don't have suspicious activities on their accounts and only use it just as is.
You won't be asked for KYC if you know that you're cleanly using the plaform.
I did verify my KYC on the site because when there was a breach in Primedice a few years back i had to submit my details to log into my account after a gap and had to search my old deposit addresses and transaction ID to get back my account and the reason for my verification is to avoid looking for my old transaction if anything happens in the future  Cheesy. I have not heard stake asking for a mandatory KYC unless someone is abusing the system.
That's right, they'll only ask if there's something wrong with the account and activity of the user. In your case, that's a different thing and it's for the sister company primedice.  Tongue

Most of gambling sites does have similar terms when it comes to this.
Right, most of them won't ask until finds something suspicious on the user's account.
8157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Exchange for a first Listing on: April 11, 2021, 08:40:29 PM
Even Binance, won't ask you for a fee if you've got a good coin which will make them a lot of money.  Tongue
Indeed they are. Who paid for Bitcoin listing?  Grin

I once saw before an event to top the votes for a free listing in their exchange.
It was years ago so I forgot who won the votes.
Maybe OP could look for those kind of promotions which could accumulate them more supporters instead of paying more.
Not everything could be bought by money. Some supporters will look at the project first before profit. Hit two birds with one stone.
Yeah, there's also a feature from those exchanges that they allow community voting. It's a good way for a coin that has a good and large community but not yet listed to those exchanges that have it.
They can use that feature by that exchange and get an instant listing if their community will help them to vote for their coin.
8158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to predict a coin is going to be listed in one of the top exchanges? on: April 11, 2021, 06:23:13 PM
It's not a prediction, Coinbase really announced that they're going to list those coins. You should follow all of their social media channels, newsletter and blog site.

That would be already too late...
Late for what? I don't see any reason that it's too late. And besides, they're the ones that will always decide which coins to add. They have to keep it up with more coins just as the other big exchanges that are existing today. And those users that you have seen predicted those coins will be added Coinbase just took the information from those channels of Coinbase.
8159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 11, 2021, 05:54:16 PM
The Lakers without AD and James won the Nets by 25 points. It looks like Drummond turned out to be very useful for the Lakers, considering that he has made two double-doubles in a row after injury. Did someone bet on the Lakers? What were the odds?

I thought of betting on Nets but I changed my mind. I'm very happy to do that now.  Grin

Lebron and Davis both were absent in this game but still Lakers did a great job by defeating Nets. Durant and Irving were in the game but they couldn't prevent the loss. But they didn't play for a very long time in this.
Drummon's very effective. Who would have thought that the Lakers will win this game without those players? the majority have thought that this was going to be a Nets game but it didn't.
There's a huge score lead for this game and this makes it more impressive.
8160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is altsignals on telegram legit? on: April 11, 2021, 05:33:09 PM
Haven't used that but I wouldn't recommend any person to pay that amount for such signals that they call. Don't waste your money by buying those signals and feeding them with your own money.
You learn the market through your experience and time by looking for those news that will affect the market.
