8141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Thiel bought about $15 million to $20 million of bitcoin on: January 03, 2018, 07:21:34 PM
Better to have this type of news rather than those crap news that are keep on spreading FUD.

What a nice and good welcome for our New Year, I knew it that bitcoin will have a good come back by some people who will buy bitcoin and will make the price go up again.

People like Peter Thiel will attract other investors to make the same move of buying bitcoin, let's wait for them to come.
8142  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 03, 2018, 07:01:07 PM
Definitely the bitcoin price is slowly down in fast few weeks because of christmas and new year, many people using their money. but dont panic hold your bitcoin because sooner or later the price will gradually increasing again. I think temporary drop, nothing to worry just be patient. bitcoin price will increase soon.
Due to correction and because of the holiday seasons that everyone needs some cash to spend and buy gift to their friends, loved ones and whoever they want to.

I didn't panic at all during those times. We've been through many times that bitcoin has been down for so long and if you used to that experience then it's normal for you to see this coming.

Only those people who has the guts to keep their bitcoin and don't have trace of panic will enjoy future profits.
8143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble on: January 02, 2018, 08:10:14 PM
I have a question
Would you buy a bitcoin to hodl if bubble explode some reason and a lot of people dumping their coins
lets say price per btc 1000-2000 would you buy?
There's no bubble that will explode as bitcoin is not a bubble. Don't be infected by those personalities that are giving their statements during their interviews that bitcoin is a bubble.

And everyone here will say yes when the price is starting to decline. It's the best time to buy bitcoin during those times but for now if you bought when it was around $13,000, congratulations.

The price is starting to rise now and is currently $15,000.
8144  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Transaction stuck for about 3 Weeks on: January 02, 2018, 07:54:55 PM
Hi
I am in a very similar situation. I have also been waiting 3 weeks for my transaction to confirm. Is anyone able to help me out?

TX ID is a5a59ec8a15348eb53a371fdf05bf951b96da13883b9b62db35e8cda4cd28e73

You sent 5.666 sat/B as fees which is very small. You'll be waiting a very long time for this to confirm. I don't think I've seen such a low fee before. You arn't going to find many miners/free services willing to help you out due to the small fee.

I would suggest contacting a paid accelerator service if you need it to be confirmed.

Follow Welsh' suggestion.

There's no one that can help you out here and if you are in need of that amount immediately then you must pay for the right fee.

You paid too low so don't expect miners will just put it on their first priority, next time don't pay that low and don't regret to pay suggested fee so that you won't have inconvenient transaction.

8145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Billboards and Signs vs TV Commercials vs Internet Ads on: January 02, 2018, 07:19:53 PM
In general, which form of advertising/marketing do you think is the most effective?

TV commercials are the most effective way of advertising before not until internet has conquered almost everything.

I'm not familiar with the pricing of billboards and signs but I think it's not that cheap as internet ads. And the most expensive one is tv commercials and this is how television network companies are earning.

To the countries that aren't innovated yet the most effective are TV commercials and billboards and signs but to generalize it internet ads is the best and most effective.
8146  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin in Bangladesh on: January 02, 2018, 06:05:00 PM
Hi, Is bitcoin legal in Bangladesh?

As, I am new here, please advise me, how to start.

I read someone posted here that bitcoin in Bangladesh is illegal already and in that case if you'll not know that it is not allowed on your country then you may charge some serious files against it.

And you are not the only one that is experiencing that feeling of disappointment that bitcoin is illegal to your country, there are also other countries that are banning bitcoin and everything which is related to it.

You are living there so you must know certain websites that is related to your government news but you can just google search it and this popped out.

* Central bank issues notice banning Bitcoin in Bangladesh

8149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin rates on: December 27, 2017, 06:38:11 AM
Bitcoin is volatile and it can change every time we would trade.

But with what happened, the price did wen through a correction last week and this will be enough for bitcoin to increase.

No one knows when will it get through a dip again.
8150  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Unconfirmed transaction for 8 days! on: December 27, 2017, 05:58:10 AM
Paying with a lower fee and the  gets stuck with your TX. Everyone of us has been dealing with this lately.

If you are lucky enough to accelerate your TX through viabtc's accelerator.

You only need to wait for xx:00:00 before submitting your TXID for free.
8151  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: December 26, 2017, 09:58:25 AM
What are the possible reason on thier contradiction?
Those people that are recommending cloud mining experienced profit through it and they don't have capital to buy their own mining rig.

And for those people that are saying that it's risky which is right they know how cloud mining works and for sure they are once a victim of other cloud mining.

Whos recommendation should i try and why?

DYOR mate.
8152  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to avoid high bitcoin transaction fees? on: December 26, 2017, 09:36:55 AM
10-20 payments per week then you want to avoid high fees? I think it's only a very small amount to you as you've been receiving a lot of transactions per week.

We all know the exact rate for the fees, and they are insanely high right now.

Yes, they are insanely high but for someone that has tons of transactions and receiving bitcoins weekly it can't be noticed.

Transaction fees can be known the estimation here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ and when it comes to transaction size it's also written on that site at the very bottom that answers this question, "Which fee should I use?"

You should know that the recommended fee are 0,0023 bitcoins, but if you send 400 satoshis per byte it will get the first confirmation in less than one hour maximum.

Nah, there's no exact recommended fee for each transactions, you see details here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
8153  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 26, 2017, 09:15:18 AM
Why then should people invest in or buy a currency that can rise or fall by 20 percent in an hour or two?

It's the advantage that anyone can earn more than 20% on the easiest way.

Think that you are a trader and within few hours you can gain 20% base on your total capital, isn't that the best advantage of all?

But you need to take time before you will have a life that way. And if you are not willing of investing that way then don't take the risk.
8154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 26, 2017, 08:19:36 AM
Seeing those funny MEME's on different trading group online, others are making laugh of those newbie traders that bought at high price and sold it at lower price.

What you need to do is when the prices are falling is first, you need to understand that panic selling won't help you during those times.

Cutting your losses isn't a solution and you must believe on those coins that you had bought. Buying during those falls is a good way to take advantage on it.
8155  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: claiming my Mining operations as a business on: December 26, 2017, 07:24:40 AM
It can be determined as a business if you'll declare of doing it so.

There are special questions that might be thrown to you but here in my country there are miners that are declaring mining as their business just for the sake of authorization and taxation.

They don't want to avoid taxation and it's much better to declare it as their very own business operation but others aren't taking any legal action on it and remains to avoid tax.
8156  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: December 25, 2017, 11:03:13 PM
If it's not mentioned and it's given to me as a surprise then for sure I'll jump for joy if someone will give it to me.

I rarely receive any type of gifts now since I'm older and there were no people nor relatives that are remembering me when it comes to gift giving.

I'll appreciate it if someone tends to give me 1 bitcoin, it's a remembrance and as well economical.
8157  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: December 25, 2017, 10:52:04 PM
Because it is physical and human nature loves physical things.
And also the tenure of gold in this world is really long enough to say that gold is better, centuries or thousands or millions of years - gold has been existing.

But there are people who are also loving those things that are good and looking forward for the things that are innovating and one of it is bitcoin.

We can't say that majority or most of the people will say gold is better but for people that are into crypto's, it's obvious they'll say bitcoin is better.
8158  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What If Govt makes BTC legal in India? on: December 25, 2017, 10:39:52 PM
Hello Guys!!

I'm just curious that what if govt. makes BTC legal in India does it have the same value what is now or lower or higher??
I hear they are going to make it legal soon with gambling.

thanks!

I have no idea that in India bitcoin is illegal?

In every news that there comes an adoption or it's a positive one for the sake of bitcoin then that's something that will increase the price of bitcoin.

And if they will legalize it with gambling then there will be too many Indian's that will gamble through bitcoin, simply gonna make the demand higher again.

Gambling and bitcoin are 2 different aspects and Gambling is banned from starting itself.  Regarding bitcoin govt is still not much in favor since they have already told that in terms of legal tender it cannot be accepted.  Now they would collect the tax on the income earned through the revenues of the bitcoin and once they receive it they may ban it or make the stringent laws if they do not want to promote such virtual currencies.

Yes that's 2 different thing, gambling is for gambling and bitcoin is for crypto's.

That's the only way to make bitcoin legal anywhere in this world. Government can take the advantage of those people who are earning through bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well.

And that is by taxing us.
8159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: December 25, 2017, 10:29:04 PM
No one knows the future of Ethereum 5 years from now but if you're a person that is targeting profits for long term basis and you want to sure of it, then go with bitcoin.

But I can also remember a year ago that the price of Ethereum isn't that high but now it's really increasing everyday. Why not try to have both of it, they are both reliable and can generate profit to all of us?

I have most of my investment in bitcoin and did sold some of my ETH before when it was around $400.
