It is true that it is high risk and what others dont see is as the price goes high the needed amount which basically most trading site want is .01 bitcoin if I am not mistaken. In ETH most preferred .1 ETH which is growing in value. So the $100 will only just give a little amount which wiill not be sufficient to be accepted by trading websites. |

Because most people think if bitcoin prices go down, they think bitcoin will die.
It's precisely my thinking and many different people, because i'm sure more and more number of bitcoin users today, will not make bitcoin die, which obviously will grow and popular.
Many People who say like that only people who have the mindset that bitcoin is a fraud.
Just a little price fall and it is shaking them already. The panic is entering their minds and they cant control it. After that they would create a ruckus in social medias and even here that bitcoin is dying. It is all non sense and should not be listened to. |

Bitcoin can still be popular because of its efficiency. People can easily pay bills and go shopping online with the use of bitcoin. You can also earn buy joining different kinds po campaign and get paid through bitcoin.
Yes. Combining it with the necessities of the people is the best idea it could have but that is unseen until now. Only countries which accepted it can really do it. Merchants will have a hard time telling if there will be profit or none. It is a big risk that is why most of the services just created their own coin to avoid much fluctuations. |

It seems to me that people have turned bitcoin in God and now pray to him in the hope that it will enrich all. Can't all be rich. It is beyond the power even of God. Why do you believe in such optimistic forecasts? The growth of bitcoin 10 times in one year is unlikely. It seems to me that if the price held at about $ 5,000 is already a very good result.
Some do have a blind faith in bitcoin but I think the reasons for that and why everyone thinks we can become rich with it is for the simple fact that we still got early in bitcoin, if the price is this high with such a small amount of bitcoin users, then when bitcoin reaches world wide adoption the the prices are going to be much higher and that is going to give us all a chance to become rich. One good reason to keep it. Everyday there could be a new user that wants to have bitcoin. If that happen then it will be just a manner of time when every user will have that bitcoin and there will be less in the circulation. With that demands will increase and that is a sure way of a price hike again. |

If it is about the fork then it should be going up.
Last minute changing their altcoins to bitcoin for the airdrop to come.
I dont think that is the reason there may be something behind it.
The fall will just come after the fork and I am sure that will happen dividing investors to where they would want to be and bringing their altcoin back.

i think its not buying early back in 2010 or 2011-2013 its really cheap that you'll have big doubts but the price now is so high you'll think its too late to invest to it but that mindset will only leave you regrets
The biggest regret many of us did. That time where the trust rating of bitcoin is so low and no one really cares what will happen. There was always the thought that it will just fall back to nothing again after a short time of hype. One of my regrets too that is whh I came here to get more knowledge and make my trust higher. |

Yes, but not the world in general. It has just changed our perspective on trading. It has made an improvement in the current state of trade and investment that we've goten used to. Now that there is a possibility, I hope more developments like these occur in the future.
This is once in a lifetime change and yes it did good. A lot have happened with just years. We havent even reached a decade and yet many testimonies came out. It is not just bitcoin but the whole crypto world is making progress. Using it for development of projects or upgrades with ICOs. Although some of them are fakes. |

It is just me or others doesn't have the same anticipation on this fork as compare to Aug. 1?
The forum was full of anticipation on the Bitcoin Cash before, but I don't feel any with the Bitcoin Gold? Previously, I felt that the forum was lively and there's a lot of discussions on Bitcoin Cash before, and almost everyone is updating what's the current situation of the fork and what blocks are we before the fork. But with this Bitcoin Gold, all members just want to get this free coins and dump it hard. And some have even stay late to be part of history.
But why with this fork everyone is not excited?
It already happened. It is not new anymore. They know what will happen so how can you get excited with that? The exciting part here is if there will be a real airdrop like Bitcoin Cash then every bitcoin they saved will be rewarded. But what if there is none? They even sold their altcoins in a price which is not profitable just for this. So I guess it will be a lost for some. |

I think that would happen too since it really gain massive distinction in the globe this time and I think in just short span of time that price you might want may come in due time. As long as many users or bitcoin enthusiast that keep on using the availability of bitcoin in these days no doubt that price and future price we want to predict will always be possible. I am on the positive side as always that bitcoin would really pumped up that high that could even up to high as $10k, let's just be patient of holding our coins and wait for the moment that it is needed to be sell/withdraw.
I agree that it could up to $10,000 because there is really a potential with bitcoin besides the fact that it is a limited resource like gold. Unlike bitcoin, fiat money can be manufactured in a limitless manner and that is what contributes to inflation and we all know that it is not a good thing because its value will be going to depreciate. Yes. That is the idea that is why many of us are hoarding more as fast as we can. We are targetting a price where we could feel safe. I guess I am getting my retirement here instead of my job.  7k will be reached and I am vouching for that but 10k will take more time. The fork could heavily affect the bitcoin price. |

I have a strong feeling people will start selling some BTC, when they have received their FREE Bitcoin Gold from this fork. The price will go down and then people will sell their Bitcoin Gold to buy some more BTC and the price will go back up to $6000 or even $7000, if Bitcoin Gold trades goes well after the fork. We will see $7000 in November and December of this year.  Why would it matter to Bitcoin how Bitcoin Gold trades? They're different coins and I'm pretty sure that Gold will just get dumped into the ground, with BTC not really caring about it. I think he is right. That is a good strategy. After receiving the Bitcoin Gold from fork holders start dumping Bitcoin price, then they sell their Bitcoin Gold, wait Bitcoin price dump to cheaper price as possible, then start buying again with the profit made by selling Bitcoin Gold + profit made by selling Bitcoin. They are different currencies, but the profit of Bitcoin Gold can be converted again to the original Bitcoin, however I don't know if Bitcoin has power to reach $7000 this year yet. Bitcoin Gold should be dumped before anyone else has the chance to. Holding Bitcoin Gold for any longer than absolutely necessary is not a good idea, since it's junk. Exactly. 1) Sell Bitcoin Gold and dump it next (take profit in BTCs); 2) Sell Bitcoins (for dollars and hold it); 3) Wait Bitcoin be dumped; 4) Buy Bitcoin again and hold. Not saying it's the best to do, but a possible strategy to execute. If most of us will do it then it will surely fall. That way we could buy again at a lower price then bitcoin will be pumped again. The question is when you will do it. Patience and right execution will be the key to perfect this kind of strategy which is not easy. |

The fork is coming and again this might affect bitcoin at a large scale.
Halving the investors and taking them to the new coin when they see they can profit more if they are inveted there too.
Same will go just like what happened with bitcoin cash. So that 10k of yours will hardly took place by this year.
