8141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox coins laundered through BTC-e (Breaking details) on: July 27, 2017, 02:12:33 AM
Feeling sad about all this. BTC-e was one of the most trusted exchanges out there. It was one of the oldest as well, being established in 2011. And more importantly, it was perhaps the only major exchange which doesn't ask for ID verification.
8142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: July 27, 2017, 01:45:09 AM
I agree with the death penalty. As long as the cops are unable to prevent violent crimes (especially rapes and murders), death penalty is necessary. It will make the criminals think twice before committing any crimes.
8143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The survey in Russia. on: July 27, 2017, 01:42:35 AM
In Russia conducted a survey and found that about 30% of Russians believe that the sun revolves around the earth. Approximately the same number believes in witches and sorcerers. Does anyone still believe that this is a civilized country?

Ridiculous. Do you have any reliable proof for this? This is not a place to show your Russophobia. If you want to do that, then please go to the Ukrainian sub-section of the Local board.
8144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will President Trump build the wall? on: July 27, 2017, 01:40:06 AM
He should build that wall. He's totally right when talking about illegal inmigrants and the troubles they bring to a country. I assure you that those people who say stupid things about him only because they hate Trump also get upset/angry when they see those "poor illegal inmigrants" are involved in most of illegal business in their country, etc. (*cough* hypocrites *cough*)  Grin

I heard that Mexico has one of the toughest laws against illegal immigrants in the world. When Mexico is showing no leniency towards the illegal aliens in its territory, then why should the Mexican illegals should be given priority treatment?
8145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A GANG of women kidnapped a man and raped him for three days on: July 27, 2017, 01:38:25 AM
There is something  i don´t get here. If Rape is force someone doing something that person doenst want to. How can a guy get and maintain erections sevral times for three days? Did they forced it to take some kind of pill?

The article doesn't specify whether he had penetrative sex or not. Even if he had penetrative sex one or two times, I don't think that his penis stayed erect that many times. BTW, viagra is commonly available nowadays. So I won't be surprised even if it happened.
8146  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 27, 2017, 01:35:48 AM
You can't force a person to stay with the victim and it wouldn't be a good realtionship. I honestly don't know what to think about this.

In India, sometimes the rapists are let off if they agree to marry the victim. But in 90% of the cases, the married life ends up in failure, and the groom dumps his bride after a few months.
8147  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-25]World’s Largest Bitcoin Tumbling Service Announces Sudden Shutdown on: July 26, 2017, 11:37:57 AM
I'm pretty sure that a lot of customers was caught off guard and totally shock as he himself admitted that they are earning good profit but the business has to be shutdown. But I think that there are more apparent reasons (pressure from a government?)for the sudden closure of bitmixer. I hope that this is just temporary and I hope that other mixing services will not follow suit.

Services such as Bitcoin mixing are extremely risky, as anyone running such operations can be tried under law and imprisoned for extremely long prison sentences. So he did the right thing by closing down the website at the right time.
8148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This just in, Donald Trump is the man behind Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 26, 2017, 11:25:09 AM
Hahaha.. I haven't read such a great satire article for quite some time. BTW... Donald Trump can never create Bitcoin. Doing so requires a minimum amount of intelligence, which he seems to be lacking at.
8149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will President Trump build the wall? on: July 26, 2017, 11:22:05 AM
If he wants to keep the illegals out, then there is no need for any of this. Just allow the immigration authorities to deport these illegals without hassle and arrest anyone employing illegal aliens in the United States. The flow of undocumented immigrants will taper down by default.
8150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A GANG of women kidnapped a man and raped him for three days on: July 26, 2017, 11:20:04 AM
South Afrika has the highest rape rate in the world

I heard that Sweden is giving tough competition for South Africa recently. I had a quick search in Google, and some of the sources are already claiming that Sweden is the country with the highest rape rate in the world.
8151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oxford study claims Duterte paid trolls to promote or defend him online on: July 26, 2017, 11:17:29 AM
This was something that he could have avoided. There was no need to do this (if the report is indeed true), when his popularity ratings are at all time highs. I understand that the media is biased against him, but this was not the solution for that.
8152  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is russia arming the talibans? on: July 26, 2017, 07:35:12 AM
Is there any evidence to prove this? I don't know why the super-powers are doing this. The Americans and their allies arming the ISIS in Syria, and Russia arming the Taliban in Afghanistan. Where is this going to end?
8153  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 26, 2017, 06:58:23 AM
Volatility can be controlled by various measures, but if we do that, then it is not going to be good for BTC. Let the exchange rates decided by the supply-demand ratio. There are certain currencies such as the Saudi Riyal and the Hong Kong dollar, which are having fixed exchange rates. But we don't need such a system for Bitcoin.
8154  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 26, 2017, 06:55:01 AM
Check the date when this thread was created. It was created more than 2 years ago. After that, the exchange rates went up by almost 1,000%, and Bitcoin was able to gain millions of users. I have to say that Bitcoin is getting stronger by the day. It has proven the detractors wrong.
8155  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: July 26, 2017, 06:49:50 AM
i want to be rich too like other people but i know it will need time and smart work if i want to reach my goals. but i am sure that i am in the right way to go that. many of us wants to get rich but they don't know how to do that, but if they want to search job or at least they want to make something then they can get rich.

Follow these simple steps and you will be able to increase your wealth significantly in the near future:

1. Put a maximum limit on unproductive time (watching movies, playing computer games) every day.
2. Dedicate 30 minutes or 1 hour every day, to learn new things.
3. Don't be too greedy while making investments.
4. Learn from your past mistakes.
5. Don't lose hope.
8156  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 26, 2017, 06:46:20 AM
Yeah me too, signature campaign is a big help for us teenagers especially for the bounty campaign because for me it is helping me in my needs and I am being more independent because I can earn in my own and I can provide my need by myself only so for me now this is part time job but I think in the future I will go full time on this.

The advantage with signature campaign is that you don't need to spend a lot of time on it. My sig campaign requires just 50 posts per week, which can be covered if we browse the forum for one hour every day. That leaves enough time for studying and various leisure activities.
8157  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: July 24, 2017, 03:36:33 PM
100k bitcoin in 2022

Yeah.. it is possible. Even at $100,000 per coin, the market cap of Bitcoin will be lower than that of other currencies such as the United States Dollar and the Euro. Also, we need to remember that a large fraction (may be up to 15%) of the BTC market cap is "lost", since no one is having the private keys for those coins.
8158  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: July 24, 2017, 03:32:23 PM
When bitcoin reached its lowest at $1800 I took my chance and bought another portion. I didn't mind the issues regarding hardforks and I'm glad that I did. When the $2800 mark came I have never been excited in my life seeing those numbers in my account. It really is about how far do you take risks. And I advice you to hold on more to your bitcoins and never ever panic because btc have proven itself throughout the years and it will continue to do so.

Yes... Once the current campaign of extreme-FUD is over, Bitcoin is going to shoot up to the moon. We just needs to be patient. I know a lot of my friends, who dumped their coins recently. They are going to regret.
8159  Economy / Economics / Re: Valuation of Bitcoin hard forked coins; specifically BCC on: July 24, 2017, 03:29:51 PM
BCC is currently shown at a valuation of 0.2 BTC on viabtc's futures market. Is this an artificial valuation or indicative of the actual value of the hard-forked coin?

That is ridiculous. I don't think that BCC will ever become worth more than BTC0.02 (which is more than the current prices of Litecoin). And you can't trust ViaBTC, because if I am not wrong, they are one of the supporters of BCC.
8160  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 24, 2017, 03:23:05 PM
15-year olds should concentrate on their studies rather than bothering about earning money. BTW, along with the studies, if you can do 1-2 hours a day of part-time job, then there is nothing wrong in that. And signature campaigns are very suitable for such purposes.
