8181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 26, 2016, 03:50:27 PM
That is almost an impossible deal to beat a gambling place in a medium or long distance
Lol no one can beat the gambling script if you think that you can beat it then goodluck to you anyone is needs luck to win in gambling website where we need it for the site to win evedy time we gonna make bets
thats right no one can defeat the house gambling has been built for earning money for the owner so script is always for the win its just sometimes we got some lucky but if we keep playing we still lose at the end.
8182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convince people to use Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2016, 03:21:08 PM
Being a worker abroad, I would just tell my friends that we can send the money to our families in our country using bitcoin. The fee will be lesser and we can send it anytime and anywhere. Aside from that, when we have extra money then we can buy bitcoin and hold it and then when the time comes that our family needed money again, may be its value already rise so we needed a lesser amount of bitcoin to send which means savings for us.

I agree

That would be easy to do but convincing them to actually use it may be really different. I was trying to look cool for my brother who is working abroad and told him to use bitcoin and he was like "bit what? no don't make me register to all those shit"  lol

maybe one day he'll realize i wasn't kidding when i said bitcoin is the future.
thats the first impression since they are not aware yet but allowing them to take time researching about the potentials of this coin  will make sure that they will enjoy it and will be convince to use it s well.
8183  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: September 25, 2016, 03:19:47 PM
As the title says, do you think that you're addicted to gambling? or you just don't realize that you're addicted Roll Eyes
If you ask me, i used to addicted to gambling but stopped after suffer big losses even though i'm still in profit.
Well im not addicted on any gambling website because i have control on my self even i got lots of bitcoin on my wallet i consider not to play gambling because i don't feel much safer in gambling where i could lose all my money in just a minute and im just earning it all the way/.
You are doing the right thing and for sure you would  not get addicted into gambling since you play seldom and  does have control on your funds and you are already aware on the risk involve in playing gambling.  For me  i dont really play gambling at all but ive tried some  dice then after that  I never play at all.
If you start your gambling with Dice game means, begining only you get to know how gambling will make people lose. BEcasue in Dice game losing chance is high. If you don't want to addict, and gambling and you still want to play gambling means play sports betting. Yes, it will not take much time to place a bet, and you will not get addict gambling. I do sports betting, but I am not addicted.
I think every casino games could make you addicted, even the one which needs skill to do it.
I've seen few people who addicted with sportsbook (casino) even though they have family and loan.
yes mate i also think whatever games for gambling are really addicted especially when you first taste the joy of winnings whatever it is the game keeps moving inside your mind making you thirsty and keep coming back but the next will be not favored to you and you will trying to think of some useful method or strategy but still losing and addiction will start from there i guess.

8185  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting My First Whole Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2016, 02:36:59 PM
Earning 1 btc is never easy if you are earning it only from signature campaign as it will take long time to achieve that amount but it is assured that you will have that amount in long run.
It's very easy if we our going to gambling website and bets high but make sure that you can earn profit every time you place a bet because if you always lose you gonna lose everything you have you gonna chase it all your lose and until you don't have nothing in your pocket signature campaign is good too but it will take year because you can earn 1 bitcoin.

If you say that we need to be careful in gambling then how can you say that its easy to make 1 btc in it? Its never easy to make 1 btc in gambling as to earn that amount you also need to play with higher amount.
gambling is to risky maybe for a person like me who just started to learn btc it will take some time before i can achieve 1btc without investing
but if i can achieved that i will really work hard and find all the possible ways.
8186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin will rise after Monero? on: September 14, 2016, 05:37:07 PM
Monero will rise for quite some time.

It is possible. But when the ZCash is listed, the price of the Monero could drop as the money will flow to ZCash.
8187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: September 03, 2016, 10:23:25 AM
By doing that, the hacker does not have to sell the stolen funds and still make a lot of money. That could be the reason for the ETC price drop.

Exactly, margin trading is where the real money laundering happens.

That is my main concerning about owning the ETC. The ETC can just be a cash machine for the hacker.
So the price will not rise much in the future.

But the hacker and his friends like that. He can make a lot of money out of it. Maybe more than $10 million.

They have about 3.6 million ETC. If they can trade a few rounds of the 3.6 million ETC, they can make more than 20 million.

Nothing really happened and VB is embracing ETC now https://www.reddit.com/r/EthereumClassic/comments/50k0wr/vitalik_buterin_softens_on_etc_a_nonnegligible/

I mean it could just be that the way ETH doubles in mcap is by reaching parity with ETC. So everybody who believe in ETH should hedge.

Vitalik Buterin Softens On ETC: "A non-negligible minority that feel strongly [ETC]… am surprised by the level of [ETC] adoption… there are times when a split can increase total value… [ETC] is a positive value event… a version with their [BTC's] philosophy
8188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: August 17, 2016, 10:52:15 AM

It seems the DAO ETC will be returned to the original owners. So there will be 7 more million ETC on the market.

In that case, a dump is coming soon. Well good for me, I'll buy some more and add more to my current collection of ETC. Anyways, I'm still enjoying Ethereum Classic on altcoin trading!

The big dump will come after end of August when the DAO hacker can have access to the hacked 3.6 million ETC. That is quite big amount.

I heard the exact is September 2nd. Then it might take some time for him to mix and transfer to exchanges. So the dump will come a bit later.

So basically it is better to sell your ETC before September 2nd. It might be better to sell way before other people do.

I think so. It is possible that the ETC price will fall in the end of August. But if the ETC whales have enough money, the price might even rise.

It is very difficult to predict the ETC price. The ETC price depends on the action of several parties, the DAO hackers and the Ethereum Foundation.

To be safe, it is better to invest in the Ethereum ETH. The Ethereum Foundation support it 100%, so are many developers.
8189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: August 07, 2016, 07:38:53 AM
I've divested from ETC for now with an avg buy roughly at 150 avg sell 460. Actually back into ETH. Why?

ETC will need to deal with Coinbase and Bitfinex getting their coins as well as the attacker in three weeks. Finex and Coinbase users are likely moving to Poloniex and the sell walls there are already quite big. So I believe I'll have an reentry on ETC much lower. Should this occur ETH should increase in price.

So ye that's the strat

Would also add to this as Chris Ellis pointed out, this thing with the Dao has probably set back smart contract technology and ETH development by 6 months. That said I am not sure if investing in ETC is prudent for the industry as it is a lot of drama surrounding ETH and ETC when attention should be on building things. I have very conflicting thoughts about this.

That is right. Without the DAO hack, the Slock DAO will be historic. It will attract more attentions from business.

With the DAO hack, more people will hear about the Ethereum, that could be a publicity so the price will rise again.

Even though that is a bad publicity, that is still a publicity and attract some people to buy some Ethereum.

Since the DAO hack, there are more mainstream media report about the Ethrerum. The trading volume is also high.
8190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: July 19, 2016, 05:07:42 PM
I think the price of the bitcoin will be above $500 in the next 6 months to 12 months. It could even reach $900.
8191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: July 09, 2016, 12:52:20 PM
Well I agree with you man because the conversion sucks when it is below 500$ range. I think that it will be possible for it to go down below that if a really heavy dump will happen. I think it is possible but I hope that won't happen.

I do no think heavy dump will happen again. The price of bitcoin has already dropped from $790 to 500 and rose again.
8192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: June 25, 2016, 10:35:59 AM
..
I just can't understand how the price is going up.

The ICO "Scheme Coin" tokens are worthless and clearly over valued by a lot.
AND it was just hacked for fuck sakes !

And the price is going up ? WTF ?

Seriously i have no respect for you people in Crypto you make me sick.
I also think we have whales pumping it / walls etc making sure it does not drop down to much..

..let me know how that works out for ya LOL

whatever..

I've move some of my btc to ETH. Glad I've dumped the rest of what I got from the ICOs. Later i will buy back the DAOs I've also withdraw when the hack rumor started lol.
That was hilarious of me  Grin I think I've just helped DAO drop its price.

I think the DAO just has a few months life left. According to Stephan Tual, it will be closed. So if you want to buy, you have to be quick.
8193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: June 09, 2016, 06:08:25 AM
The problem is a lot of people here have been pessimists for a long time because of the big 2013 crash, so they are underrating the potential of Bitcoin's bull cycles. If only they knew we are going to go beyond 2000 this time..
Not only pessimists but looks they are traumatic with that tragedy would recur again if the price goes higher than $1000 but if they are not forgetting and try to push the price. how can they get back their money.

People know what can happen with the price. The ATH back in 2013 is a good example of how things can go perfectly fine, while not long after that the price starts sinking making certain people lose a lot money very fast. People like these should stay far away from any kind of investment as they simply don't know when to enter the market. It's better for their own safety.

The high price in late 2013 is the result of price manipulation by the Mt Gox owner. That is not fine at all.
8194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: June 08, 2016, 06:26:11 PM
its already been hit to 500 and our next goal i think 600 price and another speculation will appear..
Very hard to predict but events are one of the tips that we will see that the price will increase..
You can't expect everything goes fast like that, we just had reached $500 for a weeks so i think we need to build up big wall like before so after halving the price will not crash to below $500.

Price is moving up now and we should be ready for surprises, and to be honest don't get surprised if  we see $600 price in next couple of months.
The value of Bitcoin is now rising indeed and that is nice because the most people with Bitcoin are already waiting for a higher value so that is nice, but it is still hard to predict for what will happen later.
And Bitcoin itself is also changing a lot so that is nice, but if you are selling it is the risk that you should take.

I think the bitcoin price will keep on rising after the halving. More people will be attracted to bitcoin and the price will rise.
I don't think the price will keep on rising, the price will stabilize after a huge rise. we might see price going up to $800.

The price will go up one step, it will then correct for some time and then go up one step. It will repeat.
8195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: May 26, 2016, 10:16:14 AM

If the block size is increased to 2MB before the halving, the price of bitcoin could be more than $500.

Not a priority factor if we are just targeting the $500 goal. It is really breachable even without that halving speculations of price rise. Look at what we are now after months of battling from the year's low of $360+.

Surely even without the block size issue resolved, we can reach the $500 price target.

If we have the block size increase in July, the $500 will be reached pretty easily as the price was low due to small block.
8196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: May 12, 2016, 07:49:10 PM
We will see this price very soon may be at the end of the month, and I don't think that we need to wait long enough  to see this price, as this price seems to be realistic now.

I think we will see the $500 price before July, the halving time. The price of bitcoin will rise gradually.
8197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: May 12, 2016, 03:35:40 PM
The bitcoin is going up to $500. But it will be a slow process. It might reach that level in the middle of June or early July.

I am happy with the price of $500 in June or July. It makes the bitcoin a stable currency and encourage its adoption.
8198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going Up to 500? on: April 28, 2016, 07:33:35 PM
I think the price will reach $500 within few weeks or less. so one should not sell now and wait for more rising to get more profit Grin
if the end of the month touched $450, the possibility of the next month we could see the price touched $500
we already touched $450 back in March and that didn't make us to move towards $500 so far this month.

I think the bitcoin price will reach $500 in May or June. if the price rises too fast, it will become a pump and dump.

It rose too fast. So the price dropped to $430 again. This process will repeat many times, then the price will rise.
8199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Affordable motherboard for GPU mining? on: April 13, 2016, 12:04:06 PM
16 Gig total ram is pretty cheap any more, can find it under $70 on Newegg even pushing faster ram speeds.

It's probably overkill for current mining, but can be nice to have it for later repurposing of the machine(s).

What is the benefit using 16 GB memory? I thought 4 GB is enough for all the coin mining so far.

there was a coin that was based on ram, not in the sense that you need ram to mine, but it was posible to mine only with big ass memory, like at least 16gb, or even 32

i forgot the name, but it does not matter anymore i think it's dead now...

What is the point of ram mining? I think the hard disk mining can use the unused the hard drive space.
8200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which PSU for 6x R9 390? on: April 05, 2016, 10:23:13 AM
Corsair CP-9020057-EU AX Serie AX1500i ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Titanium 1500Watt, Digital, Netzteil, EU
this one or the Lepa 1600w?
for 4x R9 390?

For 4x390, 1500W is enough.

1500W is even enough for 6x390 if you use the -100mV undervoltage. That will consumes about 220W each.

The 1500W power supplies are usually not single rail, so you have to distribute the power properly among the rails.

That is very important. If the power is not distributed properly and within the limits, the power supply will crash and the computer will restart.
