8181  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex started supporting native Segwit (bech32 - bc1) withdrawals. on: October 31, 2019, 04:39:07 AM
It's about time, perhaps Bitfinex is preparing for the expected bull run in 2020-2021?

Coinbase and Bitstamp next? So let's see if Binance will follow suit as well, and I agree that it will give Segwit address more adoption (which we all have been waiting for).
8182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 30, 2019, 10:18:39 PM
Tyson Fury keeping it real,

Quote
Perhaps obvious to most of us Tyson Fury has pointed out that there is no chance of himself and Anthony Joshua ever fighting should the latter lose his December 7th world heavyweight title rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr.

https://www.boxingscene.com/tyson-fury-no-joshua-fight-if-he-loses-andy-ruiz--143821

Again, lots of stake in this fight for both fighters, if Joshua win this one, then he has a chance to face the winner of Fury vs Wilder rematch, which has been in the talks until Ruiz derail that plan. But if Ruiz then definitely it will be an easy fight for either Fury and Wilder and I think both of them can defeat Ruiz easily.
8183  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: {Gabay}: Paano ba malalaman kung ilang merits na ang nakuha mo in last 120 days? on: October 30, 2019, 10:24:28 AM
^^ Mukhang hindi pa summation ang nakalagay sa bottom according to Vod,

I now show number of records on the bottom
still working on the summation.

Kaya kailangang i manual parin or kung gusto nyo i try ung tool ni DdmrDdmr.

The Merit Dashboard does that. Simply go to the "Received Merit" tab, and adjust the date range slider to the date interval required (i.e. between date x and date y), be it 120 days or other. By default it shows all history. Then enter the user name or user Id on the boxes on the right side of the screen.

You should see (data as of last Friday):
- the total amount of merits earned by the forum member in the timeframe (on the right side of the screen, under the name).
- the amount received per rank in that timeframe.
- a breakdown by month.
- a breakdown by day.
- a summary of the forum names that merited the profile, and amounts, in the timeframe.

To change the username or id, just click on the parameter box, press the "x’ to delete current parameter, and type in a new name.

Note that the software, Tableau Public will timeout after around four minutes of inactivity, so if that happens, the date range may need to be provided again.

You can also see (on the "Rankings" tab) the most merited profiles in a given timeframe and board.

8184  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / {Gabay}: Paano ba malalaman kung ilang merits na ang nakuha mo in last 120 days? on: October 30, 2019, 09:36:49 AM

https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=&from=&start=&end=&min=&max=

So magiging ganito ang kakalabasan dapat.

https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=Baofeng&from=&start=6/30/2019&end=&min=&max=

Tapos sa results makikita nyo sa may bandang huli ang ganito;

8185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019 over 40m cryptocurrency wallets have been created on: October 28, 2019, 06:05:22 AM
It's pretty obvious that around 2017 alone, I'm sure a lot of newbies started to find bitcoin or crypto in general that's why the statistics shoots up up to mid-year 2019.

But does the data offer has significance? I don't think so, it's just another numbers in the growing fields of data analysis in this ecosystem, how many wallets owe at least 1 BTC, 10 BTC or 100 BTC?
8187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoTalk started paying its users for posting. on: October 27, 2019, 09:10:18 AM
It is forbidden to offend other members of the forum.
This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read, and I've read blog posts by CSW.

Being offended is entirely subjective. Everyone in the world has a different set of things they are or are not offended by. Something that is completely mundane to me might be offensive to you, and vice versa. I'm offended by most altcoins.

So if I go on to that forum and say I am offended by altcoins, are they going to ban everyone talking about altcoins? Of course not, because the mods won't agree with me. But if I say I'm offended by someone using Nazi slogans, the mods will probably agree with me there and take action. Therefore, this rule gives the mods permission to delete any comment they like and ban any user they like under the guise of "causing offense to other users".

It is really subjective, and may I add if one member is running a project and there are bad reports about that project although not yet proven and you question the member who runs the project, in the hope that it will shed light and defend his project, instead he will go straight to the mod and ask to ban the member that question him, because he is offended by his questioning.
They should explain what it means by offending.

I agree that it is really subjective, and come to think of it, we are in a forum, of course everyone can voice out his/her opinion and it's up to the other party to be offended or not. Other's say that can offend someone, but majority thinks that nothing about that statement is offending, tit for tat. Again, this is a community, we can have endless discussions and debates and there could be trolls around too. So that rule is somewhat ridiculous, in my opinion.
8188  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Be vigilant of active scammers on YoBit posing as support. on: October 27, 2019, 05:41:39 AM
Same kind of message were shown from else in the same section but members claimed that this is from a clone site,so the same thing happened here?

Or yobit itself trying to scam people with these kind of tricks?

I doubt about Yobit themselves started this to trick people. I mean, I can understand that their reputation is already tainted here in this community. So there's no incentive for them to run this kind of scheme. It's just scammers trying to used that as a bait and hope that they can catch someone. Good thing that the OP has shared this otherwise many might fall for this trap, so kudos to the OP.
8189  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Anonymous Instant Crypto Exchange -> SwapFast.io on: October 27, 2019, 05:21:34 AM
Every government agencies around the world are working together to curb out crypto's anonymity. So I think you need to take that into considerations as you don't want your services to be targeted in the future. 8190  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 27, 2019, 04:56:34 AM
Experience makes us more calm and rational. Smart in making decisions too.
I'm also involved in Bitcoin from 2013 and since then Bitcoin went through different phases, many hard and good times. That is why it's funny for me to see people panicking becuse of few hundred dollars that price went down. Bitcoin has its own cycle that will always follow, don't forget that.

True, experience is always  the best teacher. I started bitcoin in the mid of 2015 and register here at  January 2016. Almost 4 years now and  had witness several  ups and downs. As you become familiar the movement, you become resilient and calm. Let the market move on its own and if you plan for long term, nothing to worry in my opinion.

Been here in 2017 and saw the peak in December that year and I would say that it's one of the greatest thing I've discovered since joining crypto-sphere. Yes, I did gain experienced in 2018, to be calm and not panic specially when we hit $3100. Now I've gained so much experienced that I didn't get excited unless I see new all-time-high again. Lots of ups and downs, but that's the nature of crypto, you have to be prepared for the worst situations.
8191  Local / Pamilihan / Re: {Babala}:Phishing email gamit ang Ledger Nano S/X on: October 27, 2019, 03:31:38 AM

Smiley

8192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dormant addresses are waking up? on: October 26, 2019, 10:23:54 PM
We will never know as bitcoin addresses doesn't have name attach to it. So we can speculation that the owner is a long term holder, or suddenly remembers his private key, or someone get ahold of an old desktop/laptop that contains a lot of bitcoin and was able to get the private key as well. That's the beauty of bitcoin though, the owner remains (psuedo) anonymous and it remains a mystery to all of us.
8193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]:Crawford vs. Kavaliauskas on: October 26, 2019, 03:06:39 PM
Talking about Manny's next fight is probably the one whos giving him a nice offer, it doesn't care about the belt cause they have them already and even Mayweather thinks of it rather than to seek big names.

Manny has one of the belt so he can either face another champion or defend it, simply as that.

Whatever it happens to Crawford and Kavliauskas fight, nothing to think that Manny could fight one of them but I think Spencer would have the possibilities.

It's beyond Manny's control now, it's the promoters job, but whatever or whoever wins this fight, It's not Manny's concern, besides, we all know that both of them are under Top Rank and Manny is on the other side of the fence now, under Al Haymon, so much likely Manny will face Spence, Danny Garcia or Porter.
8194  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Bakkt sets new all-time high in trading volume as Bitcoin price soars on: October 26, 2019, 11:33:47 AM
May bago na ulit record: 1183 traded contracts

https://twitter.com/BakktBot/status/1188034034527625218

UPDATE:

Brave v0.70 is out today, enabling ads for 20 more regions

Country list (from here): Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Israel, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Sweden, Singapore, Venezuela and South Africa

Code:
Brave is up to date
Version 0.70.121 Chromium: 78.0.3904.70 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Oh i love this work out by the way: https://www.facebook.com/boxingexposure/videos/408001270119823/ This wont be an easy one for Joshua.

That left-hook is a bit scary, damn.  Grin.

So it looks like Joshua takes a good sparring partner to replicate Ruiz speed, but based on the video this guy is just throwing straight left that's why it look really fast. They should tell Albon Pervizaj to try and throw left hooks so that Joshua can react to it as Ruiz has a potent left hook based on the video above.
8199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 25, 2019, 10:58:00 PM
Discipline for me in gambling means you have total control of yourself + logical thinking. How many of us lost when we can go exit and take our winning? And because of human nature, we tend to continue playing and think that we're invincible and continue to winning. But if you have control and your decision are not clouded then I think you will be 'successful' in the long run.
BITCOIN! on: October 25, 2019, 10:24:47 PM
Sorry but I have to disagree that China is the reason to the sudden pump ng bitcoin in the last 24 hours. According to their latest report, pang 11 isang position lang ang bitcoin sa kanila.

https://news.bitcoin.com/china-rankings-37-crypto-projects/

China’s Blockchain Dominance: Can the U.S. Catch Up?.
