I dont think soo,i have been using coinbase regularily since a long time,alomost 2-3 years now and i am still using it and login almost every day in my coinbase account.I never experienced any issue with coinbase and i still trust coinbase despite these rumours.

You can invest some in bitcoins and ethereum,i think its best investement among all.i was quiet lucky that i invested a couple of months ago after which price increased a lot but still i will consider it a good investement.
