Oh great to know that KDB is already recovered but his price is still over 10. I thought his price would be lowered because he is out for like half of the season. Time to put him back I guess with Salah out of the equation. I got Alvarez captained as well, not really the best choice considering that they are playing against Newcastle but if he can score atleast 1 goal than that would be enough for decent double points There is no better choice at the moment- Son and Salah are unavailable, Bowen is injured, all of Manchester United's midfielders are garbage, Arsenal's midfielders are underperforming, and Liverpool's midfield is a collection of mids. KDB at £10m is still a steal in my opinion. He'll be up and running in no time. Price is influenced just by transfers in or transfers out. KDB price was never going down a lot since he was never really popular this season. If he was 70% owned before the injury we would have seen a lot of price drops.
At 9.8% ownership at the moment, pretty low. |

It seems like nothing shocking, just normal safety requirements? As you know, these lasers can damage the retina of the eye even from such a distance, there are many videos on YouTube where the beam of such lasers bursts balloons lined up in a row. I wonder if vuvuzelas will be banned? It seems that if you look at the map, Cote Divoire is located far from South Africa, but maybe these things are also popular there. ...Havertz, Pulisic, Werner strike me as the same category of player -- all broke through the ranks in Bundesliga as pretty damned good talents. All wanted by Liverpool, pursued for years, but finally opting for Chelsea, and then somehow regressing.
You're right about the other idiots, but I can make an exception for Pulisic: others were available for games and had plenty of time to improve, whereas Pulisic has fought with injuries throughout his career; he has the fire inside him, but his legs won't let him play. Werner and Havertz were only supposed to shine in the farmers league. Werner used to score 30 goals every season for fun before joining the EPL and scoring only 10 for us. |

Good question. For example in EURO, no matter who is playing and where, we always have full stadiums. Don't know how many fans are traveeling to support theirteams in Africa, but I guess that these countries closest to Ivory Cost will get biggest support. I just hope that vuvuzelas isn't big thing there  . He's not just a poor shot stopper, but he's also prone to errors. I am actually going with just the opposite. You need good defense to keep clean sheets but bad defense is actually perfect for GK to show his worth. It is much easier to be on goal when opponents are shooting at you every few minutes. Even if you concede few, you still make plenty of good saves and build a name for yourself. There is nothing harder for the goalkeeper than having to have to make one good save after doing nothing for 80 minutes. You screw that one up and there is no chance for redemption and you are never totally in the game. That's exactly my point! Onana gets 10 shots on target and concedes 8. De Gea and Krul are good examples of good shot stoppers; these guys faced an average of 7-9 shots on target and produced numerous saves. Pickford is the current good shot stopper in the league, and whether his side wins or loses, he always has a better game for himself. A keeper who helped keep Ajax defense the best for 3 years running, 33% clean sheets. Then goes to Italy and keeps 50% clean sheets. I only saw him properly vs City in CL final but he was confident with ball to feet, like all modern keepers. United needed to modernize their goalie, but they forgot Onana style needs defense like Ajax or Inter, or City or Liverpool. Give him Maguire and Dalot and Wan Bissaka who PANIC with ball, then he cannot keep his own composure. You right tho lol at this time, he is better DM than keeper thanks to United LOL Honestly, Ajax had some of the finest CB and DM and had over 84% total win, they were by far one of the most complete teams under ETH and any other goalie could have performed as well as Onana did because he didn't face as many shots on goal as he does now. De Gea competed for the Golden Glove for three consecutive seasons despite having Maguire and Lindelof in front of him without an actual DM. Manchester United's current defence is an upgrade compared to last season. Goalie job is to keep out what the defenders missed and not to pass the ball around, I'm not in for this modern ball playing goalie nonsense. Bravo started the whole shit and die off after two good season.

I don't think it is time for wildcard yet unless you are hit with plethora of injuries. This whole month we have 2 game weeks. Bowen out for three weeks would mean he actually missed one game.
I will probably just bench him and hope he gets back soon. That is why early transfers are bad. Loads of players brought Bowen and TAA this week and now they are out.
I got him as well; I had no idea we'd have a double cup week because I've never made a transfer two weeks before a game week before. I have no idea what to do with him, and with Nkunku out critically ill the only miracle I need now is for Nkunku to recover before the GW. If this happens, I can easily bench Bowen and switch to a 4-4-3 formation. Salah is still on the bench, which is an easy fix for KBD or money to swiftly get Halaand. @NotATether is a terrible captain idea. |

Football management has evolved since he was at Tottenham. Not to mention that when Conte was fired, Tottenham had the opportunity to bring him back but chose other available options (they got a better modern manager).
Before you talk about Poch's successes at Tottenham, keep in mind that he won nothing during the golden Tottenham era and nearly destroyed the team after three brilliant seasons.
Poch is not a bad coach, but he is not the manager for our young project since his player management is terrible. In your opinion who should be managing Chelsea now? I will take back either Mourinho or Conte easily - we need discipline and someone to install winning mentality into the players and the team and only Conte and Mourinho can do this in a Short term. But it's not gonna happen, our Owners want the "Yes Sir" manager so Conte and Mourinho are way out of their league. |
