821  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: January 28, 2019, 06:03:54 AM
Only one thing ive learned in this crypto market:
Never hodl your coins ,dont ask for higher price and big profit or else you will regret if the price will suddenly drop.
indeed, if we are not good at analyzing, but for those who have good fundamental techniques, certainly not afraid to hold coins that have the potential to have a good future. indeed, today many are frustrated because the prices have dropped dramatically, and therefore many have eroded their confidence

Certainly, this is the risky part of business we tend to hope for the bigger profit and so greed comes in. Well, this is the consequences of being risky which we also lose and all we can do is being wise enough especially what happens in 2018. Many definitely are losing last year that leaves a scars and probably make them to be more careful this year.
That is what we do tough. I mean we take the big risk to get the big reward. If I wanted to get small returns I would just put my money in the bank for savings interest, which is incredibly small and is probably less than the inflation so that doesn't make sense.

We go into crypto because we know in the end we can lose our money and most of us did in the 2018 calendar year but there is also always that chance of hitting big and making much more than the bank interest. So, that is the question you want to ask yourself, would you rather make a guaranteed small return or would you like to risk it all and get a huge return (maybe).

If the answer is I want to make sure my money doesn't get lost, then go invest into a bank savings account but if you don't care losing that money and want to see a big return, crypto is the place for it.
We keep taking big risks because we know that we can get more high returns from it. Those who brave persons are keep making investments due to their faith that they can grow their investments.
right. no ad knows for sure when the market will grow. but when there is an opportunity to invest at a low price, we use it as well as possible, because we believe the market will shine later

We cant predict this market of cryptos but we are confident that this market can grow brighter in the future because cryptos are verry useful in our daily lives  . many people buy it and some even make it as a business  although we must also choose wisely  . chose the coin that are more promising and avoid the ones that are not really worth to hold .
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: January 28, 2019, 05:23:43 AM
I really want to leave Russia! Please advise where I can buy real estate abroad in cryptocurrency. I really hope that I succeed. I want to go where it's warm and there are a lot of happy people. Really want to. Advise where can I move?
It is very possible to happen, we are currently using crypto in various daily needs and it is very likely that real estate buying transactions can use crypto. There are even people who use Bitcoin to buy a car. Everything will become a reality in the future and we all just have to wait until all of that happens. You just need to find someone who wants to sell it and you can give an option to buy it with crypto. That is an easy thing and all you have to do is communicate with that person.

Easy thing huh ?  Sites that sell huge items like house , cars , lots , etc... Are now verry rare but if ever you find one , that are only scam or seem to be shady   . thats because cryptos are not yet popular  but its possible to buy small items or inexpensive ones especially if its digital only  .

I suggest exchange your cryptos first and then buy the item because that is more easy and you can buy anything you want or anywhere you are   .
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with capital "B" and bitcoins with lowercase "b" on: January 27, 2019, 02:21:23 PM
When telling people what amounts to pay or receive I just type BTC instead of writing out bitcoin. I wish more people would use smaller units like mBTC, I know people refer to satoshis a lot though when talking in really small amounts.  Bitcoin should always be capitalized anyways because of how important it is in the world Smiley

Same here  . i dont type the whole actual word because i find too long and i feel too lazy to do it lol  . sometimes i used the word mbtc when i refer to smaller amounts of btc aside from the term satoshi  . we know the importance of btc and cryptos but its okay to use your own term or spellings because that didnt hurt the reputation of btc at all  . its up to the reader if he will understand it or not but google is their friend  .
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Social Media Outlets for Crypto on: January 27, 2019, 11:00:20 AM
What do you think is the best social media platform. That is more influential in Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency.

That is good for content creators to use? developers? Analysts? enthusiasts   . What is the one most important to journals in this industry? thanks

You don't have to look far Bitcointalk forum is the best media outlets for cryptocurrency any news I consider this as our Facebook, where you can get the best and the latest news about cryptocurrency and you can engage the community, to a very good discussions.

I agree when you say bitcointalk because that is the one that i will also recomend though i slightly disagree when you say facebook for crypto news .   im a long time facebook user and i noticed that most of their news are fake or plain hoax  .

Lately , crypto related contents are being restricted and removed from facebook  .

Many crypto based news out there that we can easily search but bitcointalk also provide it  so id rather stick with this forum  to avoid confusions .
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable? on: January 27, 2019, 10:04:41 AM
In addition, bitcoin mining will not last forever due to its limited amount.

That is not true. Bitcoin mining is an integral part of Bitcoin. It will continue forever, even after the subsidy goes to 0.

The guy above you means that mining wont last because the supply of btc is only limited to 21 million  but you are right mate even if the supply runs out mining wont still end because btc will still circulate  due to the reasons that people constantly buy and sell a btc  .

Btc itself isnt also consuming electricity . people only uses electricity when they turn on their gadgets and process a transactions  , as well as mining  .
826  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: January 27, 2019, 05:17:51 AM
it will be good, because there will no longer be bank interest. and if a deposit of money is put in crypto, it can actually be an investment asset because the value can go up, but it can also go down. but it will be more fun and more challenging.
right, therefore I want to save quality coins, so the possibility for the price to rise is greater. saving in a bank will certainly get interest that is smaller than inflation that occurs every time, so that the value of money will shrink if bought the same item

Saving money in bank has a small interest but the stability is there  and the security is also much better  . while in cryptos , the value of our money can decrease or increase depending on the mood of the whales   .

I guess diversifying your money on banks and in cryptos are a better way to earn and reduce the risk at the same time than going for one option .
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 27, 2019, 04:22:58 AM
For me, long term holding is not an idiocracy it was only the product of not having an option. As you will noticed, most of the long term hodlers are small investors only. They don't have any choice but to hodl because that small amount of money in their hands is all they hand thus cannot afford to lose it. Even some of them want to try trading, unfortunately, they still can't because their money might not be a good starting capital.

Quote

hodling is a choice  .  its an act of investing and many people choose this path because this is more safer and easier to do than trading or any other risky activities out there .

Quote
As you will noticed, most of the long term hodlers are small investors only.

alot of long term investors are average to rich people . few were only poor but its not a problem anymore because all who enters this scene are here to earn a profit  .

Quote

Its not because they dont have any choices but the main reason why they chose to hodl is because the current market situation is not really suitable for trading or selling .  its also a golden rule that we must only invest what we can afford to loose
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens? Like I do? on: January 26, 2019, 11:37:09 PM
Same thing can be said about bitcoin, in reality it is shit but there are still a lot of fools that are delusional.  Bitcoin is just as worthless as any of these other coins.

Lol are serious when you say this ? but maybe you are right because you arent the only one that said this to bitcoin . meanwhile , if btc is shit then iliquid/unliquid tokens are more shitter because you cant sell them for fortune  though they can be a good decoration inside your wallet just to show up your friends that you'v owned alot of cryptos  .
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Most Ridiculous Invention Ever Made on: January 26, 2019, 10:41:22 PM
If I am the owner of Western Union or Moneygram I would really say that its ridiculous, its killing the remittance business. Imagine if I am going to send $280 USD worth of BTC, it will cost me less than $0.50 but if I use Western Union, a $280 USD money transfer will cost $11. Imagine $11 versus $0.50. that's a difference of 2,100%

If you send a selfie to your friend, via e-mail system for e.g.  this is also cheap. Point? Sending Bitcoin is cheap because Bitcoin is just a series digits. Digits are mathematical abstraction, i.e. ownership of nothing and why would such transfer be expensive. But when you have to transfer the ownership of something, i.e. dollars - which are certificates of debt that have loans contracts, collaterals and banks behind them, then of course that transferring something like that is costly. It's pretty simple. You cannot compare sending digits and sending money.

Yes its cheap . using online or the internet to send and recieve stuffs are more convinient and cheap  compare to the traditional systems  .  in the case of bitcoin , not all times we can send a transaction with a cheap cost because the fees are also dependent on its current value .

@nydiacaskey01 , if you are th owner local money remitance then you dont need to worry on crypto payments because many peeps will prefer your service as it is more easy and faster .  crypto are also hard to use to some peeps especially if they are older enough and not into the techy stuffs .
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung S10 Embedded with Cryptocurrency wallet on: January 26, 2019, 02:04:30 PM
I always welcome anything new to crypto and anything new that is related to crypto, and about this one, I am a litle confuses, cellphones gets lost and stolen almost everyday around the globe - will this one be a good idea to store crypto on a cellphone?

Phones nowadays are more smarter and they are now being built with concrete security patch  . theives can only dis-assemble the phone or chop chop it to sell but they cant bypass the code or even reformat it .

Anyways , i still found it interesting and this can greatly help the crypto to become more recognizable in public  . i just hope that they can also add a crypto support for lower  class phone and brands because people will go for cheaper ones .
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 26, 2019, 01:05:43 PM

Do you mean people that work outside and pay tax all the time are ignorant ? Yes they are maybe only if the leader of their country is corrupt but if you are sure that the president or the governant on your country is legit then your doing a good job because your helping your place to develop .  on crypto we arent paying a tax here but tx fees are more than just a tax so i think thats already enough .
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for bitcoin Price Drop? on: January 26, 2019, 10:33:06 AM
All what i am seeing is that you do not have a clue of what is really happening.

A drop related to ETF's? Hard Fork? Wow man, you seem to be very outdated, those topics are already old in here. Etf's are no longer affecting bitcoin price because there is not a good consistence on the price at the moment.

Take a look at the volume over the major bitcoin / fiat pairs on the most famous exchanges, the news are not affecting the price by the way that it used to happen before. (late 2016 - 2017)

maybe you are the one that is outdated .bitcoin etf is not yet approved and thats the maine reason on why theres no significant price movements  . other one is the news . news nowdays are purely hoax and dont have a solid evidence to back thier statement thats why people dont believe on it and that why thers no changes in the value's of cryptos  .

The main reason for the Bitcoin price drop is Etfs and hard fork and mining difficulty all these reason resulted to bitcoin drop hoping for recovery in second quarter  of 2019

as i said earlier  , theres no etf that happen yet  and theres no also hardfork for btc  .  the rumored fork last month is from eth although that also didnt happened because they postponed it  . mining isnt also difficult but actually it becomes easier because many miners are now resigning as their  job are not really profitable  anymore .
833  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: January 26, 2019, 08:40:04 AM
Most of the altcoins were run on their own blockchain and tokens use other coins blockchain for transaction is there any problem with it.The purpose of blockchain was security reasons not for the usage of crypto currencies.
I do agree with you about that blockchain is for the security purposes in which all the data transaction can easily be stored in a most efficient way and it also resist to modified all the data.

You guys are both correct and with that explanation we must really need a blockchain technology because it is important to us .   the only problem is that other company , organization and government will they also accept it ? some wants the traditional system because they can easily modify their data's and of course to do evil things but if they are already using blockchain , they know that they cant do these anymore .
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: January 26, 2019, 06:40:32 AM
daily trade actually is the best trading system for me , especially when the price like this , do good research and u will got good profit

I cant imagine how you guys earn from this kind of market .  sure you can buy coins at a low cost but its not really possible to trade them  .  day trade is bad now but long trade is i think more better   .

On the other hand investing is the most preferable choice to do so far because we can buy coins and hodl them while waiting for the best price point .
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $10 million? on: January 26, 2019, 02:44:43 AM

To those who said its impossible  , well you are totally wrong because bitcoin actually have the potential to reach the said amount .  just wait for it to become recognized by many citezens and netizens then youl see that the value can slowly recover in an upward manner day by day until it gets to the point of no return  .  sooner or later the value can reach to millions and eventually it can climb up to 10 million for more few days .
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How good were you at understanding Bitcoin tech before investing in it? on: January 25, 2019, 10:15:08 PM

im just like the other's here . i only knew the basics on how bitcoin and blockchain works and on how to operate it but even if im slightly interesteed to learn its technical side , i still find it hard to understand it because i dont have an educational background on this kind of field  . im also busy on more other important stuffs so i cant dedicate enough time .  yet , we dont need to be good in bitcoin tech before we invest on it  .
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace? on: January 25, 2019, 01:44:11 PM
the cryptospace is filled with lots of speculators who from time to time try to speculate price of bitcoin or what willl happen to bitcoin. This has so far left so many heart broken and even lost so much money as when they thought bitcoin price will go up, it goes down. i think we should all stop speculating and just watch the market.

Speculators give an impact on the market and without them I don't think the market will be like today. After all, we don't know what will happen to prices in the future and that's why we can consider most traders are speculators. And if we just watch the market without doing anything, we will get nothing!

speculators or speculation doesnt give an impact to the market because we all know that they arent true  . there are verry simillar to predictions without a real solid evidence that it will occur . thats why many people ( including me ) wont easily believe on them .  much better if we can just watch the market without doing anything because that can give you peace of mind   . you will only act once the price is already moving in real time  .
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: received 500 free satoshi? on: January 25, 2019, 12:18:26 PM
A random selections coming from the owner of that project, same like with other post here, maybe its's a new way for promoting the project

thats an expensive way of promoting because he will only cost more fees than the actual amount he sent  and this kind of promotion is not super effective because 99 percent of people wont bother to track the address on where the coins were sent  .

how can we get a free satoshi

you can get free sats at a bitcoin faucet .

It seems that you may have forgotten that once upon a time, you've participated in their airdrop or something.
I am most certain that you've done something. Nowadays, nothing is free. How on earth will they be able to have the informations of your wallet? Did they randompicked it out of thin air

if its an airdrop then the payment should be a token or an altcoin .

sure there are . many free sites are offering free cryptos .

thats possible . there are address generator online that they can use or they can just enter any crypto addres randomly  .

i remeber last year i also recieve almost 0.009 btc on my wallet . maybe im just lucky that time  .
839  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 25, 2019, 09:20:01 AM
I think Bitcoin needs a miracle right now, it's true, because the current price is really worrying in the market, prices continue to decline every day, so I think Bitcoin needs a miracle to pump prices back to $5,000 again.
Miracle? miracle don't just happen like cause there must be something to trigger it before miracle come to manifestation. However,  don't think Bitcoin and other crypto currency need can any any form of miracle cause the correction last a year and it destroy something than to build. Therefore, I expected us to wait Q2 before seeking any better result in the market.

What trigger are you talking about ?  That wont happen if theres no miracle . we need it so that others people can change their mind and forget their doubts about btc .  if they will invest , the price of btc can skyrocket imediately  .

The rest are just actual work .  existing bitcoin users must also contribute in order to help btc to increase and we can only do it if we will all unite to not sell at a specific date  .
840  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: January 25, 2019, 07:01:30 AM

yes in future fiat would be replaced by crypto and i do believe by using crypto it would prevent money laundry and tax evasion. Goverments also will be much easier to track money of their people, i know its bad but i do think its also a good think.

No i totally disagree with your opinion buddy . we are already in the future but why do you think fiats are still here ?  Cryptos cant replace fiats because cryptos are only possible online and we cant use it if theres no internet  .

Money laundering is already temporary because on most payment method there is always a money laundering cases  .  now when using crypto , we will only increase the risks of it due to anonimity factor .

Lastly , you cant prevent tax evasion when you use crypto because you are actually evading tax when you use it as it is unregulated
