As Binance failed to prove it is safest exchange also there is less features compare to Kucoin . Kucoin gives revenue sharing for KCS token in exchange more over its also having IEO and other option compare to Binance Kucoin giving more option . What you guys think about binance alternative??
There is no guarantee that other exchange than binance won't be hacked. But if binance keep improving the security of their system, will it be more secure than before ? If it will be more secure, then we can use it without using other exchange. |

I think you can ask for help to the support in Poloniex exchange. Because on swap exchange like https://swap.online , you can see the address of bitcoin and USDT for deposit are same. if the address between btc and usdt are same, then there will be a chance to retrieve them. |

Project developers are in no risk at all ,the investors are the ones in total risk ,devs only have to tender a working project and ask people for funds ,who says ICO and IEO is not a favoured business? That's why we have many not working projects,fake ,scam and pump and dump projects in crypto space..I have make up my mind never to invest in fund raising projects anymore ,I can name 100s of coins with no ICO and No Premine that are doing very fine in this market condition ,they are just here for the fund raising
Did you investing on wrong projects ? There are many failed projects in ICO indeed. But how about IEO ? Do you think IEO is only a scam fund rising ? Investors will prefer to investing in IEO because it is held by a reliable platform such exchange. |

hey all... it's exactly one year now when market started downward movement due to which many bounty/ico companies were not able to list their token to any exchange. Some even did not bothered to send bounty reward token to bounty participants. I have more then 40 tokens that are not listed to any exchange. This situation forced many participants to stop working on bounty campaigns and find some other way to earn from crypto. What was the last bounty that paid you token and that tokens were listed on good exachange and you were able to earn 1-2 ETH / 0.1 to 0.2 BTC or any small amount.
It is a common thing that bounty campaign is not too worth anymore nowadays. Because many projects has failed, then the reward won't be worth, even below ICO price. I hope with the bull market sign appeared in the market, there will be more good projects launched. |

You are still lucky, your coin value is not falling more than 80%. I saw many coins were falling more than 80% after hyping. My suggestion is, always buying coin when it is not on the hype condition, because usually the coin will fall after hype over. If you buying when the value low, you will have higher chance to sell it higher later. |

Well, hacking cases in centralized exchanges are not impossible.
But at least, big exchange like Binance will take full responsible of what has happened.
Traders and investors in binance no need to panic, because their bitcoin will fully refund from Binance's SAFU.

Stop thinking about the price for a while and think about the technology and adoption what is happening just now! More and more people are involved in cryptocurrencies, bigger and bigger partnerships are made everyday, better and better news comes everyday and price? Still same? It shows that whales are cumulating why other people who care about the price are selling them their cryptocurrencies for cheap.
But most peoples are concern on the cryptocurrency price, i think it is because they are buying to selling it with higher price later. There are enough speculators in crypto sphere, buying and selling higher, but it should not like that. Cryptocurrency should be used not only for trading, but as a real currency in many transactions. |

And now what is your opinion about decentralized exchanges after this event? I think people will finally consider the DEXes more seriously.  I think Decentralized exchange won't guarantee that your coin will be safe if you using it. Phishing in DEX website is still possible to happening, so both centralized and decentralized exchange still not safe 100%. Binance hack case is the worst hacking case in this year i guess. |

I think as long as you buy a good coin with cheap price, you will be fine because when the bull comes you will be able to sell it higher.
DOGE is a good coin, many peoples using it to transfer other coins, using DOGE to avoid high fees across the exchanges.
Just buy it when it is on the low price, we won't get loss.

I have kin, pundix and xlm on my radar, but Im looking also ffor small cap coins. I already have some of nio, hbz, xspec. Which coins now are good to buy I want to invest some more.
But the problem is we don't know when will our coin and the entire market goes bull. The best thing to do is buying a good coin with a good project behind it, so we can holding it for long time without afraid of falling coin price, because the coin has a good use case. |

My own reasons why I think IEO is better than ICO
1)IEO projects are legits ,scam free but
i) don't always expect the IEO tokens to double after IEO instant sell out ,many are complaining about IEOs losing value I think this is possible and normal too
2) IEO is here to fix scam issues only don't expect that all IEO will be a success on the long run,they might still fail but far from scam like ICO projects
3) it's wise to do better research even if the IEO is launching on binance ,don't just invest because the IEO is from popular Exchanges because what the project is introducing might not even make lotta sense
With IEO, the team doesn't need to spend too much advertising to create awareness to investors. Although, some popular exchanges may required more budget to list IEO. The point no 3, usually peoples will prefer to join IEO from popular exchanges, because the exchange reputation is good. |

Why do new investors consider the IEO a scam / Should I invest in IEO?
The fact that IEO is a form of mobilization is very smart because it minimizes risks for investors. However, there are two big problems that are common in IEO: the number of tokens that are being held too much by some people, if the token floor will bring a good amount to them, if the token is reduced to the floor then they will quickly take a loss or sell out of the market but the big risk is to be in new investors. Therefore, for those who have lost their money in this market, they lose faith and consider it a fraud.

IEO is not a scam, it is a new shape of ICO in cryptocurrency. If the exchange who holding the IEO can limiting the investor's personal cap, then it will be better. There won't be any whale investors who can potentially dumping the coin after it distributed later. |

Seriously i can't believe that we have some newbies to junior members on here that are just here for bounties rewards ,most are I'm not against that but what surprised me is many these newbies don't bother to go through 'beginners and help ' thread ,why? How will you know what to do or not ? How will you even know more about how this forum works not to talk of how to avoid been scammed? Its really a bad idea and that's why many are getting there account blocked too. There are many things you guys can learn from the beginners thread ,just head there and check it out,that thread is helpful
I think it will be bad for them if they don't want to learn anything about cryptocurrency before participating in any bounty campaigns. Most of them will wrong choosing the project they want to join, and won't get any reward from it. Good bounties that really pay you the rewards are rare nowadays, im afraid newbies with minimum knowledge will find it. |

I've been tracking Decent(Dct) for a while. One of the first blockchain projects established in 2015. What are your thoughts? Anybody investing in or thinking of doing it? Good idea my friend, if we can see the proof of the raised funds, investors will be more confident. There were many bad ICO in the past, lied about the amount of raised funds. I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.
If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.
I guess it will be difficult to boost investor's confidence in crypto sphere. You will need to get back the trust from investors first, because many investors has lost their money in scam projects. We must ensure investors who want to investing their money on crypto, they won't lose because of scams anymore. |
