I believe they are trying to raise the difficulty in preparation for the coin's addition to Cryptsy, as that can raise its potential trading value on the exchange. And it appears that was a success, raising it from around 0.25 to 1.48 now. stevenlam is a respected member of the community and is only trying to help the future prospects of GlobalCoin. It's good to remember that someone with that much hashing power has paid for the privilege to mine any way they want, he could easily be running $25,000+ in mining equipment. Given the 600 block re-target, there was plenty of time to mine along with him (like I did) to pick up last-minute coins. a 3rd gaiboi comes in? Jesus man. you may be right, but even more likely is that they are driven by unrequited greed, thus my attempts to shame. Grow up Bitclock. You, steveelam, Rewt and the like are all the same. Thieving out for themselves, screw the community, types and no one is going to believe otherwise based on your actions. I'm a small time miner so I feel the pain when I jump on a low diff coin and it rises.... but I think you're going a little overboard. So what if Stevenlam and who ever else mine what ever they want? At least he was nice to hop back on and help re-adjust the difficulty. After some of your and other reactions here, I would have been hard pressed not to tell you guys to GFY and moved on... Great job on the launch everyone! Carry on! |

I like the 1st more as well, but there is something about that 2nd one that is amazing to me.
We need to get the Dev to integrate thelogo after final draft.

yeah some asholes attacking different alt coins, i recognised NBL.LKY and ELC was affected /will be again.
Didnt test the others so far.
Seems to be a bigger plan to disturb altcoins in general to spread dead coin feelings.
