I wanna see Kimoto more active in this thread  I agree, but I would bet real money he is working hard behind the scenes to make Megacoin a success. We already have the best web site, and by far the best wallet. My mind has been working overtime to imagine what Kimoto will come up with next... I can only say I haven't been this excited about anything in a long time. In the meantime difficulty is down to 3.8, and we are sitting on a huge pile of blocks. Looks like we are headed for another spike in profitability... The best time to mine Megacoin is when everyone else is mining something else, but I don't think most people have figured that out yet.  To me it's very impressive that Megacoin is sitting at #16 on http://coinmarketcap.com/But the thing is, I can see Megacoin challenging Litecoin at some point in the near future. Anyone else notice this site? http://megacoin.co/ Hmm, I wonder...  Try to keep the hype down, its great quietly picking up MEC at these bargain basement prices. |

Coding changes (ESPECIALLY MATH heavy stuff like crypto coins) take time. Takes time to figure out what to do in the first place, then test, and confirm - then release. If this is true - seems like a legit way to make money now ;p - Hell I've considered making a coin myself, but don't have the time to invest in such a risk (especially at this point with the tons of alt coins available) personally. Though you have pointed out an accusation towards the good Dr. I must say it is interesting...to say the least. What reply do you have to this Dr. ? |

dubious at best, though sprinkled with paranoia and a huge helping of fud.  There has been no indication that kim dotcom is associated with this coin. There is only tea leaves and conjecture. Kim dotcom is not one to hide behind curtains of assumption. He would be out infront, bellowing how this coin would beat all others. |

LOL, I would be pretty amazed if everyone on the Megcoin train hadn't already read this stuff, and seen all the videos on Youtube. Most of the bad press that Kim Dotcom receives comes from governments, not average people. In fact I would say he is a huge hero to most of us tech savvy, freedom loving people. Megacoin can be hyped, or slandered, but not controlled. It will rise or fall on it's own merit. My questions would be... If Megacoin is technically superior to other Crypto coins, why would it matter who is behind it's development? Even if we were fortunate enough that Kimoto is really Kim Dotcom, do you really think he is in this for the money? Here are my favorites. Even at 10 times the current price, this is chump change for someone like Kim Dotcom. So let's say he put a million of them aside, and Megacoin eventually hits $1. Even if Megacoin hit current Litecoin prices, I don't see someone like Kim Dotcom being interested in something like this. If he is, it sure isn't about the money... |
