821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: July 02, 2022, 08:05:59 PM
Trading can be a hectic endeavor must, especially for those who are not persistent in their trading journey, but those who put all their time and mind into trading will develop skills over time that makes them more stable in trading. So in conclusion trading is for the passive mindset and not for the laggy mindset.
Passive mindset sounds like a very negative word to me. I would rather replace the word passive with Patient mindset. I feel people who are more patient towards learning how to trade and then trading too will always succeed in the market. This is because they learn from their mistakes and develop skills over time. In trading learning from your past mistakes is the most important thing while developing a system. It's all about hit and trial until you develop a foolproof system that can actually fetch you some money. until this happens all of us are just doing hit and trial.
822  Local / India / Re: TDS on Cryptocurrencies [Explained] on: July 02, 2022, 08:02:08 PM
The worst part about TDS applicability put in by the government is that even if you are an individual who is not involved in any kind of business and profession and is just doing cryptos for investment or even fun has to deduct TDS while buying/ selling the coin and deposit it with the government. In case of exchanges it was easier as the burden to comply with all the statutory norms was on the shoulders of the government but in the case of individuals, it will be on people which will obviously reduce their enthusiasm to do crypto trading. I feel this law can be crypto killer in India.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready to embrace physical bitcoin? on: July 02, 2022, 07:55:41 PM
This makes no sense at all. The target of bitcoin was not only to cut down fiat but also to make transactions easier and less bulky. If eventually we are creating a physical coin that is going to contain bitcoin and we will have to carry it in order to make transactions it defeats the purpose of bitcoin itself. The question itself, therefore, is wrong. The question shouldn't be that is the world ready to embrace such a thing. Moreover, the problem that was there in 2013 will still persist as eventually, some private company will have to do this thing which means chances are it will have a lot of control over it's creation and usage.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: July 02, 2022, 07:38:25 PM
That's actually true, the big guns are using this as an opportunity to buy in big loads, they know that this price level might not sustain for a very long period of time and this can be used as a great opportunity to accumulate, just think of it the company which holds the largest reserve of BTC has average buying of 35k+ this means the price of 19k is way off from it and at least will double your money guaranteed, so why will someone miss this once in a lifetime opportunity, it will always only be the weak hands that will get crushed in all this and will face trouble and repent when their is the next bull run.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Irrelevance of Education in Nigeria. on: July 01, 2022, 05:47:27 PM
The adage (school na scam)by most Nigerian is becoming realistic.for a country to grow and develop,it most invest in is human capital.presently.universities, polytechnics and colleges are on strike.the educational system of the country is very poor.

Another problem is high unemployment rate: most graduate that are are qualified and ready to work, are not employed which is decrease the rate at which people go to school.
With the poor educational system of the country, skills acquisition and empowerment is also low which worsened the situation.
It's sad but a very big problem in developing/ underdeveloped economies especially in African countries like Nigeria that how their literacy rates are damn too low and people still Live in the third world. Problem with these countries is the vicious circle actually, you have to do either of two things first, either educate your population too much so that companies come into your country to trade or bring in companies to generate employment so that people see lucrative opportunities and study. This is the reason development of human capital takes a lot of time.
Their government should really be thinking up that way rather than on hurrying up theirselves on minding about band-aid solution on developing their economy. Some might be saying that this idea is considerable or ideal but its not. Lets say that education might not be necessary on some aspects or key areas but nothing beats out if a country does have lots of literate people who could possibly
able to do jobs which might those foreign investor might able to see and might built up some business which would really be a potential for helping in terms of development.
Its just a wrong mindset or solution if they would go switch up with that speaking of irrelevance of education.
Governments play a very vital role in all this. If the focus of the government is in the correct direction there is nothing that can stop the country from eventually developing. Mindset of the leaders of that country will eventually frame the mindset of the people of that country. If they are able to advertise that how education is critically important for everyone people would themselves pickup the pros of education and would plan their lives accordingly and this in longer term would develop in the economy.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: July 01, 2022, 05:43:18 PM
Many may wonder why the new bounty has stopped coming in. I think the current state of the market and the collapse of the BTC have reduced prices by about two-thirds.  So no one is going to bring any new project in the field with risk because not only BTC or BTC but also BNB and Ether have come down in price.  No and the boundary is not new so you wait for the new one to come forward if it becomes normal as before hopefully it will become normal as before.  Wait time. Hope BTC will come back like before. Thank you.
Obviously this happens every now and then, i have seen two bull cycles now, all the good bounties come during the bull run it's basically because people are so enthusiastic that even shitty projects go for a run therefore people earn a lot of money. During the bearish phase on the other hand it's only the very good projects that survive. This is why bounties will always be profitable only in the bull run.
827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: July 01, 2022, 05:40:18 PM
Look at Eth/Btc Chart. looks like it has found the bottom. i see a clear uptrend towards 0.08. In this case alts can be pumped too. so keep your eye on At Altcoins. This could bebthe start of a relief rally. but i dont think so that will be oump towards ATH. expecting just a relief rally only.
 Roll Eyes

It wasn't even a relief rally before prices have started to come down again. I think this time market will behave differently it will stay like this for some time so that the weak hands are fed up of the market and have no option than to leave the market. Only when a lot of people will leave the market you will start seeing some good pumps and until then big guns will accumulate all what these people have sold.
828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2022, 07:52:56 PM
What do you think will be the bottom for Bitcoin, from which it will begin to recover? Another question is whether now is the best time to invest or whether waiting for more dump is advisable.
Waiting for more dump in never advisable, but never waiting for another dump is foolish as well, the best way to stop this problem is find something in between which is averaging or dollar cost averaging, just keep on buying a certain percentage whenever the price falls a bit therefore you are accumulating and at the same time keeping a small backup to buy if the price drops even further. No one can really predict what the final bottom will be so this is the best strategy.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: June 30, 2022, 07:47:00 PM
I don't know which country are you talking about because as far as I know in my country, inflation has been there since past many years and so has been the wage increment as well. I am sure the rate of increment would have been slightly lower in developed economies however I don't think there would be any country where people aren't getting increments annually. Talking about inflation as a problem even deflation can be an equally big challenge if you study properly about deflationary spiral.
830  Local / India / Re: Tax on Crypto Trading as per New Tax Law - Explained on: June 30, 2022, 07:05:27 PM
@webtricks
You have explained well, but now it is more worse for buyers who need CA to calculate all these things. I hope the Govt will make it easier to pay tax than hiting a CA for small tax payers.
Every transaction means its more headache for every person.
I think you will always need a CA to calculate your taxes it will always be a value addition and you will be earning much more than what you are spending on it. Even if Government simplify the procedure a CA could still help you find ways to save tax.

I will cover the taxation on other incomes in the future threads.

Is this thread posted yet?
No, so far no such thread has been posted. But if you have any specific query please feel free to post it, me or webtricks will love to answer them.

832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators : Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! but... on: June 26, 2022, 08:26:55 PM
Speculators : "Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! yeah 100k coming soon  "....but it was 47k this March and 61k in 2021 ... so how the ..f..uck is bitcoin a winner ?

The only guys that won are speculators/traders that pumped and dumped and miners, the rest got wiped out ...

It starting to feel that "Bitcoin game" is a scam ...a big ponzi ...
See if you see the bitcoin market just like any other market and keep it on a scale of 3-4 years you will see that you have always been in profit and never in loss. It is obvious that currently price fluctuations, as well as manipulations, are way too high for Bitcoin markets but eventually this will come down. The winner is only the person who entered the market at the correct time and then HODLed his bitcoins or a person who is a very good trader and can make money in the market no matter what the type of market is. Weak hands always get wiped off as they do exactly the opposite of what should have been done in a certain situaton.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 26, 2022, 08:22:52 PM
~
With this format ODI could be died, and we will be able to have only these two formats which are good enough for staying in good shape Test matches and T-10 hopefully someone will give his own comments about this as well.
I am really happy to see T 10 as an entertainer as all the bowlers are taken for granted and the batsman keeps swinging the bat but i do not think that all the major teams will be taking on that. T20 is the best format for everyone who do not have time to enjoy the match, i do not want to see matches getting shorter and International teams playing that as it will be really hard to predict any matches.

India won the first match against Ireland pretty easily even though the match was reduced to 12 overs a side and this is the trend i am expecting in this series, unless Ireland proves otherwise Grin.

I was really not thinking that Ireland would be so easy to defeat especially in the t20 format where games can be very unpredictable. Maybe the match getting reduced to 12 over a side would have had an impact on the performance, as it's easier for a team like India to adapt in these situations. But anyway it's just two matches I am treating it more like 2- tour matches before the beginning of the actual fighting series against England which really would be a real test for the Indian team both in t20 as well as ODI series.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: June 26, 2022, 08:17:12 PM
I did some trading stunt recently that made me to marvel. And am beginning to see my trading skills as a force to reckon with, i studied the market during last last 2 years and have realised that floating with the market can earn you good profits that you can imagine. Take for example if you bought Bitcoin when the price dropped to 19k by now you will be making 30% profits so here is my strategy i hold alot of ustd>buy during the dip sell buy buy and buy again since am holding large ustd.
See what you are saying is common sense and no major secret. If you have to make money you have to buy during the dip and sell when the price goes up but this is what is basically very difficult. From what I have understood your strategy is that during this bear time one should wait for a dip and buy it and then wait for the recovery to sell it. But the problem here is when do you call that there is a dip? chances are that dip might immediately recover without giving you a chance to enter or even worse it might lead to further dump without any correction in this situation you get a really hard time because even the correction might be lesser than your token price.
835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Choose Wisely on: June 26, 2022, 01:55:49 PM
Breakfast/ Dinner with Elon Musk or 10BTC ?
 10Btc yes! yes! yes!
One breakfast or dinner with Musk isn't really worth 10 BTC trust me. If it could have been like spending 6 months with him it would have still made sense as you would have got that knowledge and experience staying with him for this much of time. But 1 dinner you won't even get enough knowledge for yourself in that time to earn those 10 BTC so undoubtedly the Bitcoins.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: Things are easy to understood now on: June 26, 2022, 01:50:26 PM
Its easy yes now the prices are up but if central banks and fed dont start printing MONEY again then all will fall down.
All those real estate unreal prices are so high only becouse big money been printed this was holding as the legs of the high prices but if they dont print asap all will fall also people need cash to pay their fuel energy and food prices those who got extra real estate some extra cars in family or gold stocks or crypto to get cash off course you sell some asssets but whos gona buy ? Off course prices going lower.

Long story short current economy is on the massive ammount of printed money it was holding all this up but now central banks dont print anymore and rate hikes so if we dont hear the news they will step in and print then we all know what happens.
See it will never be that central banks will go into a deflationary stage which means money supply will never go into negative it will always increase only. Excess money printing might get held for sometime in case of crisis but eventually it will resume once again. Prices therefore might get settled for once but they will not fall because of this instead they will fall due to lack of demand because of some other FUD.
837  Economy / Economics / Re: UK inflation hits new high of 9.1% as food and energy price surge persists on: June 25, 2022, 11:50:43 PM
9.1% is huge. Even for a developing economy such sort of inflation is huge while UK is a developed economy. This is clearly indicating how much pressure the economy is currently having after the recent Covid crisis followed by sanctions applied by them on Russia due to Ukraine crisis. 9.1% is even more than the annual increment which many employees get. I think this is a clear indication of a pending correction in the economy which might come in form of a crash.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: June 25, 2022, 10:38:36 PM
Hello I have thought of holding 4 particular currencies which includes BTC, ETH, BNB, UCT. But within me I feels I should trade with them to accumulate more of those currencies maybe before the bear will be finally over I would have ended up having much of them I engaged myself by trading.

I want to know if holding or trading will be more preferred. All suggestions are welcomed.

SOL, Near, Link and BTC ofcourse. These are my favourite 4, top coins with minimal risk and all 4 of them in completely different sectors which means if one project gets failed it is not at all correlated with other one's success. These sort of combinations are generally the best. And Sol and near are obviously going to be best blockhains in coming future with ChainLink too being one of the important asset of the crypto community as well. I think you can change BNB with something else as BNBs growth I feel won't be that exponential in coming future.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can fight inflation? on: June 25, 2022, 10:34:48 PM
The rising inflation is becoming a big problem and macroeconomic conditions are worsening.
I want to know if bitcoin can in help us to fight inflation
I came across this article, which says that the decentralised nature of bitcoin and the limited supply of bitcoin can actually help it to retain its value over longer time and thus it can actually help us mitigate inflation .

Can someone help me to understand this further

Link to the article:
https://guardian.ng/features/how-bitcoin-can-mitigate-inflation/
I think inflation as a problem is real and obviously there is no better solution for inflation than a deflationary currency, but I am curious even if bitcoin is implemented how will inflation go from our lives? Basically inflation is when the prices of the commodities are increasing thereby increasing the percentage of expenditure we do on a certain commodity. I think after bitcoin our percentage of expenditure would still remain the same as the price of the bitcoin will increase we will eventually get lesser income in our hands which too will be sort of an inflation in itself just something absolutely reverse. So how will this problem get solved?
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Cold Hard Facts Prove Bitcoin Rejoin Is A Scam! on: June 25, 2022, 04:33:18 PM
The keyword ‘Bitcoin Rejoin’ has risen recently as a new way to trade crypto passively.

When searching on the Internet, you may come across its different versions.

One may claim its advantage of using AI Algorithm to trade BTC, which can grow from 250 USD to 1 million USD in a short amount of time.

Others may introduce its automated trading system that will join CFD system in the future.

They would look different in domain name (URL), logo, and site appearance, but they all ask for the same exact initial deposit of 250 USD. Why is that? Why Bitcoin Rejoin is a Scam?

Read our article: What is Bitcoin Rejoin? 3 Cold Hard Facts

If a platform is selling you(an average retail investor) a bot which can multiply your money then it is certain that this is nothing but a scam. Because by simple logic if the company would be making so much money with the bot itself why will it need to sell the bot to make money? Or maybe it will go to a bigger institution to sell them the same bot and get big price for that. So it's a clear rule for life that such a thing will always be a scam.
