821  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much bitcoin cost in the end of 2017 on: October 29, 2017, 04:17:16 AM
Year by year bitcoin just prove its value and always stand on people believe....So this year is about to close. SO Guys what your opinion on price this year???

Honestly man, nobody knows right now.

The price could wind up even further by the time the end of the year comes. However i personally feel like the price is probably going to stay at probably the same level as right now or potentially a bit less than the current prices.

It will depend on how Segwit2x turns out, though.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin's future on: October 29, 2017, 04:12:58 AM
Litecoin was regarded as silver to Bitcoin. However, its performance is much worse than Bitcoin.

What's your view on Litecoin's future? Will it catch up or continue to underperform?

Litecoin has gotten pumped and right now is in the correction phase. So that is why right now it may seem like that it is underperforming. To me, litecoin is still the silver to bitcoin, not ethereum. It's just sentiments for old investors.

After this current dip i think the price will be driven up by the markets.

But how long this dip will last for i have no idea. Could be a whole year or more like last time.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people like investing in ICOs or would they want someone to do it for them? on: October 29, 2017, 04:04:04 AM
Just curious!
I enjoy investing but having a more knowledge person manage my money might be beneficial.

Why would you get someone else to invest in ICOs for you?

For one you're missing out on all the fun that ICO investing has. You feel accomplished when you actually profit from your own trading. Secondly, that person is probably going to biased and you're not investing in what you actually believe in, which could eventually actually result in a lesser profit.

UNless you want to invest in ICOs and you're in China, and you need somenoe as a proxy to invest for you.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you research the company before participating in a bounty? on: October 29, 2017, 04:01:22 AM
Just wondering if this is something everyone does, and what questions you need answered before you are comfortable participating (and actively promoting) an ICO?

Definitely, why would'nt you?

If you are participating in a bounty then you are essentially putting your time and effort out there in return of their project's stakes. This is pretty much the same as working for that company or whatever.

If you don't do research then you'd be in a pretty terrible situation where the tokens you get are worthless. Now you don't want that to happen.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem of nowadays ICOs on: October 29, 2017, 03:53:40 AM
Don't you think that the problem of ongoing and upcoming ICOs is not the quality of projects (certainly there are scam projects, but there are also a great deal of really working projects backed with technology) but the problem is in the quality of investors who don't really make their research and mostly even don't care do read anything about the project they are going to invests in. They are in rush to buy any altcoins because it seems to be an easy way to make money for them.. What do you think?
You are right mate! The fact remains that some investors are just too lazy to do research cause if they had, most of these scam ICOs would not even be plenty cause they will end up wasting resources conducting something that no one would even buy into except probably some few gullible ones and really it is annoying and I do not blame china for banning ICOs cause these investors are the ones to blame.

Exactly this.

If you're not even bothered to do some research before investing then you deserve to get scammed. Do your own due diligence - please. This is the rule of thumb for investing in anything, especially in ICOs which is very volatile and can get you scammed easily.

The quality of ICOs have indeed been dropping, but there are still hidden gems out there.
826  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I Invest in Bitminer.io? on: October 29, 2017, 03:51:55 AM
Dear friends,I have an account in Bitminer.io where 12 lac satoshi have accumulated. But I can't withdraw it due to free version. Now I want to upgrade it with 10 lac satoshi. But I don't know about this site is legit or not.So I need suggestion from you.

It's not legit. I'm assuming that you're talking about lakh(indian counting system), and it's a big sum of money(over $50 just to upgrade your account and get your money out of your account). Trust me don't do it.

If you do, you're just going to get scammed.

The site isn't legit, and isn't even a ponzi scheme imo. It's going to take your money, and run with it.
827  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sent BTC to bitmixer2 and it's been over 24 hours and still haven't forwarded on: October 29, 2017, 03:50:26 AM
I sent some BTC through bitmixer2 and it's been over 24 hours and still haven't forwarded to my other wallet.  I've used this before and it's worked multiple times in the past but i'm starting to worry because it doesn't usually take this long.

Could anyone help? Thanks

Unfortunately you did get ripped.

Bitmixer2 is probably not a legit mixing service. As warningsigns said, if you aren't sure of which service to use then do not just go onto some random site that you find on google and expect it to all work out for you.

Chipmixer is a good option to try out next time.
828  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🃏🃏 BitcoinGambling.info ^A New Site with crypto gambling information^ on: October 28, 2017, 08:36:11 AM
Nice list you've got there!

I think though you should probably incorporate sportsbooks into your site as well. Right now that is the most in demand topic that people need information on after the collapse of directbet which pretty much everyone had used.

I would also like to see some action videos where deposit/bet/withdrawals are all tested out live on camera.

But overall, keep it up!
829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big News From China on: October 28, 2017, 08:32:39 AM
Big news from china🔼

https://www.huobi.pro/zh-cn/notice_detail/?id=651. Huobi, one of the biggest crypto exchange in China, will resume its operation at 12:00, 26th, October (China Time)

We are excited to announce that Huobi Pro will support Tether(USDT) trading pairs. USDT deposit and withdrawal is available from 18:00 October 24th,2017(GMT+8). And BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT trading will start at 12:00 October 26th,2017(GMT+8).

Huge news here.

After the shut down of BTCChina i think that the Chinese buyers are still a bit shell shocked and to see one of the most popular exchanges in China to open up again must be a relief for them. With this relief will come more bitcoin buyers for sure.

Do not estimate the power of Chinese buyers, when huobi is back price could easily rise by $1k.
830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining if I have a tiny budget on: October 28, 2017, 08:31:10 AM
Hi guys
Like a lot of people here I am still new to the scene, I would like to know whats the most  preferred site to take out cloud mining contracts on? From what i can see the ROI seems to be around 6-8 months and then you start making profit.

There is a daily equipment maintenance fee on most of them, does that scale up ? Would that eventually become more than what I earn ?

Also how do payouts work on most of them? I have been looking at minergate, would it payout what i mined on a daily basis or does it need to reach a certain value like 0.001 BTC or something ?

I want to get into that, it seems like it could be profitable if you keep increasing the hashing power with some of your profit. I would only be able to spare $100 or less  for now.

Thanks for taking the time to help this noob.

Sorry mods, I saw this is the wrong thread after i Posted, you are welcome to delete this and ill post in the correct thread.
Still new here Smiley

Personally, i used to use genesis mining but it was not profitable like at all. My contract basically get ripped after a few months and i made around 60% of my initial investment and it was not a pleasant experience at all.

If you only have $100, i would actually suggest you investing it in an altcoin than cloud mining.

First off the minimum purchase for most is going to be more than 0.05 BTC. Secondly, transaction fees are going to take at least 3% each time you move your funds. Thirdly, it's just not worth it to cloud mine right now.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Site that tracks Airdrops. Do you know something like that? on: October 28, 2017, 06:04:56 AM
Yep, airdrops.wiki and airdropalert is what i use.

However i find that the most amounts of airdrops are all conducted on bitcointalk so if you look onto the altcoin announcement section you will see many announcement threads that are advertising their airdrops.

That will be the most complete list you'll get, since it is updated in real time and by the actual coin developers. Plus, you can find way more info than on airdrop list sites.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie question: What is an airdrop and are they worth participating in? on: October 28, 2017, 06:03:07 AM
I see people asking about airdrops all the time.

What are they and how do you figure out if one is worth participating in?

An airdrop is when you essentially claim free coins from showing that you participated in doing something like promoting the project or advertising their project in your signature and get rewarded, or prove that you have a certain amount of cryptocurrency to claim the new coin.

Is it worth your time? I mean, you have to weigh in your options. If you have nothing to do then sure.

But if it's an obvious scam with time consuming tasks, then don't do it.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta - Decentralized Token Exchange on: October 28, 2017, 05:59:36 AM
This exchange has definitely grew a lot since it first came out.

I would definitely try to reinvent the exchange interface though because it looks absolutely terrible to me right now. Other than that, though, tokens now can be traded in a decentralized way even if they do not have a big exchange to list them meaning more liquidity.

Hopefully the product can be refined over time!
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to invest under 1$ (2017) which and why? on: October 28, 2017, 05:58:07 AM

You do NOT look at token price EVER.

Look at the total cap the individual token price is totally irrelevant.

Why do you care if the token is under a dollar? if the MC is huge?

Anyway best coins to invest are after you research yourself more are...

bitbay

others.

I know this is a relatively old reply but i would like to counter your argument.

IT's all psychological. People feel like that there is a lot more room for a 1 cent coin to go to 2 cents, than a $6000 bitcoin to go to $12000. That's just how it works - human psychology. For me i like to invest in tokens/coins that are in the $0.5 or less range.

Right now? Definitely dogecoin. Pump is coming very soon.
835  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Google Drive Unlimited 2$/Account ac.id new fresh on: October 28, 2017, 05:50:25 AM
Do you guarantee the account to work for lifetime(meaning that if the accounts fail to work, then you provide a refund, no matter how long it has been from the date of the purchase for the account)? Also this is for lifetime, not just for a month or two, right?

Also may i know how you are able to get such a good deal?

Is it illegal/grey hat in anyway?
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to invest under 1$ (2017) which and why? on: October 28, 2017, 03:44:59 AM
Bitshares and EOS are both under $1 right now and both projects run by the same big name - Dan Larimer. Sure he may be controversial but i feel like his coins gets pumped the most and right now, they are pretty stable in price.

Probably a good entry point.

Steem is just floating around the $1 mark as well, and they have a huge community. A pump is overdue.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think about Ethereum in like 5years? on: October 28, 2017, 03:42:47 AM
What do you think about Ethereum in like 5years?
Still existing as the dominent blockchain platform? Or disapeared?

Plz share your expectations Smiley

I actually expect the price to probably lose some value in the next 5 years before a big pump takes it to another all time high. Never been a big ethereum fan myself, and i feel like the markets are bullish now and that's the reason why ethereum is still so close to bitcoin's market cap.

When the ICO craze dies down a bit, ETH will suffer since it provides the platform for ICOs to run on.

That should be sometime in the next 5 years. I'm not saying ICOs are going to die forever, but a winter for ICOs may be coming soon.
838  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New secure wallet and mixer on: October 28, 2017, 03:37:28 AM
Hello.
There is a brandnew 100% secure and anonymous online wallet and mixer out there.
BTC Wallixer Wall(et) & (M)ixer
Just check out: http://2ovmq6sfab6u4ucr.onion/
Allways check taht you are using this url. There  will be fakes coming out soon.
For any support feel free to contact me here at bitcointalk.

Unless you start to be more professional about your project you virtually have no chance to take over the market from Chipmixer which is probably the largest and most popular bitcoin mixer around right now on bitcointalk.

As a starting point, i would suggest getting a professional to do thread design for you. Having just a few lines of text as your service ANN does not attract customers.

Also, please consider redesigning your site.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs CMT on: October 28, 2017, 03:34:01 AM
Just saw this article on facebook and it's written by the chief scientist of cybermiles.

https://medium.com/cybermiles/cmt-vs-eth-c7eea2b03632

Thoughts??? Planning on reading the whitepaper to what it's about.

Well it is obviously way too early.

They say that they are aiming for decentralizing the online market place which is not really what Ethereum's main selling point is. Right now ethereum is primarily used to issue tokens and conduct ICOs on, and this isn't a focus for cybermiles at the moment.

Plus, there is definitely a lot less recognition of cybermiles vs ETH, at least now.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ALT COIN EXCHANGES: What's your favorite? on: October 28, 2017, 03:31:05 AM
I am tired of all the exchanges, I want there to just be one central exchange. Which one do you guys think it should be?  Huh

Having one exchange as the place where you conduct all your trades and store all your coins is actually quite unwise.

Reason being that you are essentially giving them a monopoly over your money. If they go scam then there is absolutely nothing protecting you since you don't hold any private keys on your behalf. They are holding all your funds.

But i recommend using Bitfinex/Bittrex, both very good exchanges. But you do have to get verified.
