821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will altcoins fly? on: March 11, 2024, 04:12:58 PM
Bitcoin price has almost reached $70k and Altcoins marketing also flying with Bitcoin including most of top altcoins. But as we know that, Bitcoin halving is on the way. So i expect correction in Bitcoin price as well as  the effect should be seen in altcoins market too but is that going to happened? Are we gonna have one more chance to buy altcoins with low price ? What do you think about this

On the other hand, with altcoins, there are some that haven't followed the upward trend of bitcoin, so perhaps this is the chance to buy undervalued altcoins that you like. However, it's still important to set stop loss orders, as the market's direction may change unexpectedly. Don't rely solely on market movements.

Top altcoins like Ethereum, are experiencing price pump now, because Bitcoin bull run is rubbing off on them, investors will be happy to to diversify their investment in reputable altcoins that has potentials to give returns on investment like Bitcoin, likelihood is that they'll keep increasing in price as the bull run progresses. If an investor wants to buy altcoins that their prices are still dipped now, then they can consider undervalued ones like you mentioned, hoping that they'll eventually pump and also bull in this season. Another option is to go for new projects, they can give 100x to 1000x profit on the short term, but it's a gamble, and you can lose all your capital, because most of them are scams.
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: March 11, 2024, 03:03:24 PM
It actually touched $72k as a new ATH just a few hours ago and suddenly dropped to $70k now it's recovering again.

$100k is too early I think we will see this price after the block halving not now maybe the next is going to break is $80k soon before the block halving.

Bitcoin price pump is really gaining momentum before the halving, very few people predicted that this much pump will happen in this period, so I won't be too surprised if I see it reach $100k, but I'll just be modest and predict it to reach atleast $80k before the halving. But if we're talking about the peak price in this bull run, I'll take my chances and predict it to reach all the way to $200k, the ETF and increased awareness and adoption of Bitcoin, can make this happen.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 11, 2024, 11:44:07 AM

Have you bought something that people feel is rather too expensive and that you could have purchased a lower version of it? What was your inexperience like after that?

I think that luxury is very good and if anyone can afford it then let them go for it, afterall they say that life is short and we should make the most of it while we can, but I also think that it'll be foolishness if someone is going for luxury items that they can not afford. If an average income earner wants to go for a luxury upgrade of their gadget because it'll add value to their work and make it more effective, then it'll make economic sense, but if they go for an upgrade that they can't afford because it's a trend, then again I'll still call it foolishness. In conclusion I think that people should live bellow their income, so that they can be able to have money to invest and save for the future, let them go for the luxury that they can afford.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 11, 2024, 09:36:13 AM

I don't really believe this dude because such grace has not even worked for me although some of my physical trader friends sometimes says they have more customers anytime I comes around their trading centres and they love having me around.

Does this really happen a reality or it is just some sorts of mental reasoning fellas?

I think that it's just a coincidence that he won the bet when you were with him, unless you'd visit him twice again and if the luck repeats, then you can proudly say that you're a luck influencer, if it doesn't happen that wey then it's merely a coincidence. Although if people makes profit when you're around them then it's possible that the probability of luck follows you, but don't take that to mean that people must win or gain when you're around them, because luck also happens when others are around winners too, except you have a supernatural presence or something like that. I think that gambling is luck and it can happen anytime, irrespective of who is present.
825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much pressure on the male child on: March 11, 2024, 08:34:59 AM
Man was created to work, and for him to get money to take care of his responsibilities he must engage himself in work that will provide the money, that's why it's said that there's no food for a lazy man. Too many expectations are imposed on men, when they get married and starts their own family, naturally their responsibilities becomes his, and the burden will become more pronounced if he doesn't have a source of income or if the money he earns is not enough to cater for the basic needs of his family, the stress can lead to health challenges like heart attack and stroke. This is why in this age it's very important to marry an industrious woman, who can also make money and support the man to take care of the family, because if the responsibilities of a family is left alone for a man who is an average income earner, it can lead to his untimely death.
826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When will you finally buy on: March 11, 2024, 07:27:45 AM
I was in Jef's, shoes when Bitcoin was created, I was skeptical too about it, especially because a Ponzi scheme that became very popular in my country, then that eventually scammed a lot of people, so people were naturally afraid and were likening Bitcoin to that Ponzi scheme. It's better late than never, I'm now a Bitcoin investor and this will be my first halving and bull run experience, and I'm looking forward to a massive ROI in this season. Many people are still being pessimistic about the reputation of Bitcoin, some feel like it can crash and vanish with people's funds, others are waiting when the price will dip to it's early days before they will invest, while the knowledgeable ones are keying into this decentralized asset that it's value will outlive all of us.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wise to Cash Out 3.5 ETH For Debt Payments on: March 11, 2024, 06:06:54 AM
Right now the markets are rising in our favours. Too bad the worlds markets are in FIAT.
Right now i wish to pay off some credit card debts i have. All in FIAT of course and yes i know i will have to pay tax on the capital gains.
Would i be making an ok choice to sell off some ETH right now to CAD to pay some debt off. as where markets are im in the position.
just wondering on the tax i have to pay, would i be paying more tax then what i will be writing off in credit card debt? thanks

It depends — if the debt does not need to be paid immediately or anytime soon, you might want to hold off a bit because right now, ETH prices are going off because of a potential ETH ETF approval. So if you sell now, you might end up losing out on some potential gains. On the other hand, if you need to pay off the debt as soon as possible, then by all means, you should do so.

If you're familiar with defi, I think there are some markets that you can provide ETH collateral and take out stables to pay off your debt. This way, you still have your ETH but have to deal with the borrow interest enforced by money markets like aave, etc.

Entering bull run is not a good time to sale a top altcoin that is sure to bull in this season, Ethereum, price has been quite dormant before now, but it has started appreciating and has the potential to double it's present price if it's ETF is approved. However peace of mind is very important, having a dept that is mounting pressure on you and you have a means to settle it, then let the person do it, but he should consider if it's possible to postpone the repayment a little while longer, or take another loan with a lesser interest rate to settle the dept. The aim of this is that the longer the Ethereum, remains with him, the better, because it'll keep pumping in the bull run, but if there's no other choice for him, then let him sale and gradually start to accumulate again.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think about this ponzi scheme ? on: March 10, 2024, 04:44:57 PM
Once you detect a ponzi scheme project, why still bother to analyze it?
I skip this kind of project right away and mind you, they are still growing and they are using a different strategy now to attract investors so be cautious when you are investing on a project that you are not familiar yet because it can be a ponzi scheme as well, better to invest on a established project already and be more safe.

Knowing very well that a project is a Ponzi scheme and yet you go ahead to invest in it is like dining with the devil, you might get the reward of greed, because you don't know when their evil portal will close and you will lose your investment capital. The only advantage of people who knows the criminality of Ponzi schemes and still goes ahead to invest in them is if they enter among the early investors, before many people will enter and the Ponzi will disappear, they must have received substantial ROI. Although I wouldn't advice any serious investors to put their money or refare people in Ponzi schemes because you don't know when they will vanish with investors funds.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there members here who do monthly investment in bitcoin ? on: March 10, 2024, 02:51:35 PM
Are there members here who do monthly investment in bitcoin irrespective of current prices ? This approach can be really helpful for majority of people like salaried people who get fixed monthly income and can allocate some part of it to bitcoin investment.

There you have it, every members echoing the same thing, and it's the undeniable truth, especially for average income earners, the best way to continuously accumulating Bitcoin and hodling it for a long term is through none other than DCA method. It's not easy for everyone to raise the money to buy 1 Bitcoin, at once, it's only buy making a budget for it from your income that you can diligently with discipline be able to continuously achieve the aim of progressive investment. This method is however not for people who don't have constant sources of income, or the unemployed.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech Layoffs on: March 10, 2024, 02:05:45 PM
AI might not have taken over the workforce yet, but technological advancements are making companies to need lesser workforce everyday, example is Fintech banks in my country, they don't have physical branches all over the country and they're having as much customers as the traditional banks that do. This online banks don't need physical branches, so they don't need a large workforce, technology has made it possible for them to have only one office and staff for the whole country. Machines can effectively be programmed do the works human workforce, they only need a few operators for them to carry out the task of a multitude of people.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 12:50:41 PM
More harm than good comes from sharing gambling wins, because people close to the gambler will believe that it's free money that the gambler didn't work for, therefore they're entitled to a share of it, and if that doesn't happen, he might be seen as an ungenerous person. But the gambler don't have a choice when it's a very huge win, because the gambling company will want to advertise the winner, so that people will see that they're reputable, in that case the identity of the winner will be made public, then everybody that he knows will feel entitled for a share of it. People who are not known by the winner will just envy and move on.
832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help trading. on: March 10, 2024, 10:53:59 AM

Please let me know what you think a beginner should know and where they can receive the knowledge that will help them become an expert, as well as how long it will take me to get the hang of the complete trading technique. Links are greatly appreciated.

Before embarking on this journey though you need to learn about risk management tool because trading is a speculative activity no matter how good you are on it. If I was to advice you I will say invest your money first on coins most preferable bitcoin and probably practice with Demo accounts

A newbie crypto trader must understand the undisputed truth that trading is hard and it's not a get rich quick scheme, so it's something that he must diligently learn before involving his capital, so like you pointed out, in the process of learning the newbie trader can first invest their money in Bitcoin, especially in this bull season, then start practicing with demo trading. If it's possible let him get an experienced mentor who can physically guide him, if not he can use the links that Bitmaxz, provided, they're very helpful for starters, and let him have a steady source of income, because it's easy for him to lose that $500 start up capital, without proper risk management tutoring.

834  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have I been Scammed?? on: March 10, 2024, 09:29:38 AM
The hand writing is just clear on the wall mate, you have been scammed. First all this investment and get a reward after some few days are clear Ponzi schemes. What they do is to start up well and pay the first set of individuals and this individual spread the word around and when more people come into it they rug pull or set another barrier like they just do now that to get some people block.

The 10 people you messaged on Telegram will definitely be a group of the scammers replying to you so you can pay for that TVN shit. Simple advice run with the money remain and forget about the already lost ones. For future reference no one likes you much on social media to give you a money milking investment.

The handwriting was crystal clear on the wall when he was promised a big reward in a few days if he invests in their project, nobody gives free money on the internet, they've got family and friends, except it's a Ponzi. So clearly they'll pay the early investors so they can advertise and rate them legit, and as investors increases, they'll give unrealistic conditions before they'll claim their reward and eventually they'll vanish. Let the OP minimize his lose and not contact the crony contact that was given to him, unless another phase of scam will continue from there.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analysis: Ethereum nears $4,000 amidst market rally on: March 10, 2024, 08:21:26 AM
I think Ethereum is the best Altcoin right now and looking at the current market potential, I think ETH will cross $4k, and even I think it will get to $6k.  I think this bullish will continue after the Ethereum ETF and makes Ethereum peak.  I think this is because investors think ETH is the second place for invest after Bitcoin, and as has happened in the past, the BTC bullish market is also be the ETH bullish.  Coupled with the issue of his ETF approval after Bitcoin, of course this makes investors even more confident to invest in ETH.  Surely that ETH has surpassed it’s last ATH, and this time it will set a new record for ETH journey.

There's no doubt that we're going to see an impressive Ethereum, bull run, analysts were speculating about the possibilities of it reaching $4k before the end of this month, I guess that has been settled. With Ethereum, ETF approval in the pipeline, I think that there's no doubt about it reaching $7k in this bull run, so it's not late for investors to start or continue buying it. Ethereum is second only to Bitcoin, and Bitcoin price is massively pumping now, although Ethereum, seems to be having a slow build up before now, if it's ETF is approved, we're going to see a massive progressive price pump, just like we're experiencing with Bitcoin now.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 09, 2024, 08:09:42 PM
A big lose for Drake, the bet was huge, anyways he's supper rich and I guess it's an amount that he can afford to loose, if not then he'll nurse the lose for quite a while and definitely move on. I'm sure that many people will bet against Joshua, winning that fight because they'll believe that Ngannou, will enter the fight to destroy Joshua, to redeem his image after losing to Tyson Fury, in his debut fight. Unfortunately he came short of glory and fell harder this time to a more experienced Anthony Joshua, I felt quite sad when the fight ended, I was hoping that he'd make a name for himself by winning Anthony Joshua.
837  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: No Invest in Bitcoin When U No Dey Do Anything. on: March 09, 2024, 03:03:04 PM

838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: March 09, 2024, 01:43:22 PM
In my opinion, the best altcoins to invest in currently include ETH, BNB, MATIC, SOLANA, and ADA because these 5 altcoins have the potential to produce satisfactory profits, especially in the current market conditions which are in a bullish phase. But all the decisions are up to you. My advice is to invest in altcoins that you believe in yourself because sometimes other people's choices may not necessarily match your wishes. Therefore, be wise in determining before making a decision.

The selected list of altcoins that you mentioned are safe to invest in, because they're in the list of top altcoins, unlike new projects and the ones that have not gained reputation in the crypto space, so in this bull run I'll advise any investor to minimize risks and buy %70 Bitcoin, %10 Ethereum, and split the rest among other top altcoins, they might not give you 1000x profit, but you're certain to get massive ROI from them. New projects have the potentials to give you 1000x profit on the short term, but you must understand that buying them is a gamble because they also have the potentials to vanish your investment capital. If you have the risk absorber to invest in them, by all means can go ahead.
839  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria is set to join BRICS in May 2024. on: March 09, 2024, 11:22:00 AM
I'm a Nigerian and I'm hearing this news for the first time in this thread, we the citizens of the country needs a quick solution to the constant depreciation of our local currency, naira, and if joining BRICS can bring the needed change then let it be. Although I don't think that joining BRICS is the the main solution to the inflation in the country, the government needs to address some pressing issues like making the country conducive for local and foreign businesses to flourish. Nigeria, imports more than it exports, they should provide basic amenities like constant electricity supply, tackle insecurity in northern Nigeria, and encourage local manufacturing, then the naira, will naturally start to appreciate and reclaim it's lost glory
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 09, 2024, 10:35:06 AM

It goes to show that the OP gambled the amount that he can afford to loose, that is the only reason why he will place bet and not be too anxious about the outcome, if he had staked a lot of money on the bet, he'll definitely be checking every time to see the progress of his bet. Although one aftermath of betting the amount that you can afford to loose, if you eventually wins that game, you might have a little regret that if you'd known that you'd have but more money in the bet, and it might make the gambler to subsequently be betting a little more than they can afford to loose. So to be a responsible gambler takes discipline and sticking to budget.
