821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin on: September 27, 2018, 03:43:50 AM
I am now confused, I want to ask you all, which one is better to buy altcoins or buy bitcoin, which can earn a lot, please give your answer

Bitcoin and altcoins have different usage. I see altcoins is often to used for investing on a certain project, for example ETH, many peoples use it for investing on ICO. But bitcoin is more like a currency, used to paying something either it is goods or items or services. I think it is better to know the purpose of your coin before you want to buy it.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this... on: September 26, 2018, 04:59:43 AM
When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this graph. What an outstanding performing asset. This is why people invest in Bitcoin, hold on to your seat belts!
 Wink
What are your thoughts for next 12 months?

Indeed, many peoples think bitcoin is 'dead' if the price of bitcoin falling greatly. The reality is, bitcoin just only being corrected from year to year, slowly to a higher price. Bitcoin is dead if no peoples use it anymore.
What about this year ? I think this year won't be different from past years, see you in the next bull market later.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers on the rampage again, 59M $ Stolen on: September 26, 2018, 04:28:55 AM
Japanese Exchange Zaif was reported to have suffered some security breach that resulted in about 59.7 M$ being stolen from the exchange. the hackers carted away with Bitcoin (5966), bitcoin cash and some Monacoin. It is not clear yet when or if customers will be fully reimbursed for the losses.
Zaif is operated by Tech Bureau Inc.under a regulated environment by Financial Service Agency- Japans foremost regulatory agency.
It is not likely that the market will react much to the hack ( or maybe it has already as we saw bitcoin slide to 6100 range and back up to 6400$ within an hour or this was caused by the CBOE future closure).
This brings to bear once again the need to never leave some substantial amount of exchanges.

No, it won't impacting the market with that amount of btc. In the first place, the hackers are not smart if they immediately dump the whole btc because it means they will get cheap. This kind of event makes me wonder if storing our coins in the exchange wallet is safe or not.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO prediction 2019 on: September 25, 2018, 07:02:29 AM
I think that in 2019 ICO will be still alive, ICO investors will be smarter and only join good ICO. No more lands for bad and scam ICO. 2018 is not a good year for investors because most of token dumped below ICO price. Do you think 2019 is a good year for ICO and all tokens pump after ICO like it was in 2017?

Yes, ICO will be still active in the future. We just need to create a legal company with a platform to listing companies who want to holding ICO.
If a new company want to holding ICO, they must submit their legal documents, about their location, team, project, etc, so the scam project won't be able to running ICO anymore. Later, the investors will only investing through the trusted platform.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: September 25, 2018, 06:46:31 AM
I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!

Do you mean you forgot your MEW password for decrypting your keystore / json file ?
I think there are some program that you can use for brute-forcing your password, as long you have your MEW keystore file.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you here for the right reasons on: September 25, 2018, 04:12:18 AM
Maybe its high time we worked out the reasons for still being here in the cryptosphere, pinpointing and exploring lucrative interconnected avenues through right research and education.

Everyone who joining crypto must be have reason, at least it is good or bad reason.
My reason for joining crypto is to spend my money well on some projects, means investing my money.
A high amount of research is required so we can choose what coin is worth to buy.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future payment methods of bitcoin and crypto on: September 24, 2018, 06:47:41 AM
I hope to discuss about the future payment methods of BTC and Crypto. Start accepting  bitcoin and crypto currency  payment today,Accept payment security without payment claim and avoid risk ,Send the bitcoin and crypto currency to your employees and customers.

There are many peoples who doesn't get familiar in using bitcoin as their payment currency, we must do the example for them.
Using crypto should be easier than using fiat currency because it just easy as you scan barcode using your mobile phone when you send coins.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: September 24, 2018, 04:31:25 AM
Emotional and mental aspects are commonly interrelated to each other. It commonly deals with our mind and heart. They can't be isolated and one can't remain solitary. In mental viewpoint, it really enable us to think whether it will be great or not. Your understanding will going to test your passionate angle. Bitcoin's impact is interdisciplinary, along these lines what we feel, will be what we think.

If your coin price has dropping too much, of course your emotion and mental will be changed.
Most peoples will go afraid if their investment dropping too much, that's why there are panic sellers.
We must control our emotion to not get carried by, and stay calm to analyze any kind of possibilities.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF, seems going to get approve this time.. on: September 24, 2018, 04:04:42 AM
Bitcoin ETF reached the US SEC office again. CBOE, VanEck and SolidX, the co-applicants this time, individually had faced rejection before. Still, the applicants and a lot of people having a close eye over this event, believe this time SEC’s stance could change. This application was not the first attempt to reach the SEC. It had been rejected before. The applicants too weren’t new to this.

Why were the previous application rejected?

Read more: https://medium.com/coingape/bitcoin-etf-debate-why-sec-might-approve-the-cboes-bitcoin-etf-proposal-acad050effe3

How can you so sure about that ? what if they reject the ETF in this month, or keep delaying the decision ?
Im afraid that cryptocurrency price will going down and it will affecting the market price further in a bad way.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: September 23, 2018, 03:00:47 PM
Do we really need to submit our personal details to ICOs for buying the token or for participating in it's bounty and airdrop?
I always wonder why do we need to give our vital info to ICOs that most are not even likely to come on in crypto space and crypto is all about decentralization but submitting our info has made it look centralized to me.
There is no regulation in crypto yet so why should we give our details to unknow ico organizers, so claim to prevent some region in participating in the ico because of the country law but those ICOs comes from the same region and country that prevent their own citizen from participating, should we say they are using style to rob us or our details is being used for other purpose .
I think it's high time we all need to stop giving our details to ICOs if really the crypto is all about decentralized and their is no regulation in the world yet to really require such details, I will like to know everyone minds about the submission of our details in term of KYC .

If you want to investing anonymously, maybe you cannot do that because there are some ICO companies doesn't accept investors from a certain country, and that is why they need investors to submit their Identity data (KYC). For bounty and airdrop, i don't see any compulsion to participate in KYC.
If you a bounty hunter, you may avoid bounty program that requiring KYC to get your rewards.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: September 23, 2018, 02:39:28 PM
In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  Undecided

I highly doubt that because you can see now the ETH price has gone too low from the normal price.
ETH price was above $500 some months ago, and now above $200 only.
Seems like the number 1 of cryptocurrency will be always bitcoin, the market cap is far from the other coins.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are the advantages of altcoin ? on: September 23, 2018, 02:30:38 PM
For me, altcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of altcoin

The advantages of altcoins is, they have something that bitcoin doesn't have.
For example, in ETH there are smart contract, a features that can automate the token transferring to speed up the transactions process.
If you look at the other coins, they have unique trait that we can use to simplify the usage of cryptocurrency.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 22, 2018, 03:52:12 PM
This life is full of risks and indeed we are all taking part of it. No one knows Satoshi Nakamoto but people have invested in BTC. In our education we even take risk considering the fact that after school you might not get work.

Over the past months people have been complaining about the price of BTC and I think we should all know something very important. If you are a kind of person who is afraid to take risk. I saw some post talking of anxiety about btc investment and was like if you  can't take risks just leave the crypto world cos you might end up getting  Hypertension Grin.

Check this post out guys- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4706131.0
                                      https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4469252.0

Hope I am right guys? Any comments and suggestions.

You cannot invest with 0% risk on anything because there will be risks in any kind of investment.
Peoples said never invest more than you can afford to lose, this means there are risk that your money will not return.
What we can do is choosing the right project to invest to minimize our risk.
834  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the main reason for Bitcoin Price down? Will it stay for a long time? on: September 22, 2018, 03:44:25 PM
Lots of people are feeling very sick for bitcoin's price down. 2 Days ago, one of my known brothers texted me that he almost went for a heart attack! Because he invested all of his money on bitcoin and altcoins.Actually, I am feeling tensed too.
So, what do you think, What is the main reason for Bitcoin Price down? Will it stay for a long time?

Bitcoin price actually not that low. If you see the price of btc one year ago, it seems still lower than the current price.
lets wait and see what will be the cryptocurrency market condition at the end of this year. In the pasts, crypto usually rising at the end of year.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FedEx is investing and confident about Bitcoin on: September 22, 2018, 03:25:06 PM
So I recently read and article about FedEx Corporation is investing in blockchain. What do you think will be the effect of this in the crypto market? Do you think big companies will also follow what FedEx did?

If FedEx really invested their funds to the blockchain, then they must have planning something for the future.
There are many companies start to using crypto on their products, which is good for the crypto future.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy BItcoin or Litecoin on: September 21, 2018, 03:38:43 AM
Please don’t say 50 percent of each

BTC or Litecoin!

Well, if you don't want to spread half to them, then if there is something bad occurred in your coin, you will have a big loss.
Diversify is important because we don't know about the future. But if i must choose one, i will choose LTC because it is have a lower fee and we can use it as a currency with low fee.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Cryptocurrency Story. What Is yours? on: September 21, 2018, 03:32:14 AM
The Beginning
I discovered Cryptocurrencies in 2015 when I was between a rock and a tight place in life, I heard that there were money making opportunities online and I was determined to dive in ASAP and carve my niche, I didn't have any mentor, I didn't know of anybody who is actually making money online, all I had was Google search engine and while I was surfing the net, I stumbled on some bitcoin faucets, it was very hard work with very little pay but I persisted and did it for about a month before I got a job and had to quit fauceting. In the two months I fauceted, I earned about $40 worth of Bitcoin.

Fast Forward to 2016 when Bitcoin price rose to $20,000, I logged into my Blockchain wallet and my $40 has turned to $1600 and I knew right then and there that I was mistaken to have quit the fauceting hustle when I did but I knew it wasn't too late so I quit my job and decided to dedicate 100% of my time to Cryptocurrency.

My first real Foray into Cryptocurrency...
My first real Foray into Cryptocurrency was Cryptocurrency Trading, that was the period when every coin was pumping like crazy and I was able to increase my $120 investment into $320 in just a week, I was ecstatic. But almost immediately after, things started going downhill...

And Then Came Bounties...
The cryptocurrency market started losing money, from almost $1billion it started decreasing fast, I was an inexperienced trader with just a little capital and I had already quit my job to pursue a career in Cryptocurrency but I was stumped. I have never been a quitter and so I reverted back to old habits... Google  Grin

During my search for a way to earn cryptocurrency, I discovered airdrop and bounties and the rest like they say is history. Bounties has been a tremendous blessing to me, it made me stay sane and occupied in a bear market.

I have been a bounty hunter for Months now and I have never regretted any moment of it, ofcourse there are the ups and downs but it's part of the journey and I would never trade those experiences for anything because they only made me a better hunter and more focused on my goals.
I Believe in Cryptocurrency.
I believe in Blockchain.
I believe in Bounties.

This is my Cryptocurrency Experience, what is yours?

It was a good experience for you. Either become trader or bounty hunter, we can gain profit if we are keep doing it patiently.
But for bounty hunter, currently there are no really good ICO to make a decent income from it.
I prefer trading in this bearish market than doing some bounty activities.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: September 20, 2018, 04:24:45 AM
A lot of people are reaching a point where they are considering selling their coins. I would like to know, what your "panic" sell

point is?

I bought most of my coins at below $1000, so I am not worried at all about the drop in the price. I will never walk away from

Bitcoin losing any money, because I sold some bitcoins when the price reached $19,000 last year and made back all the

money that I invested. Some people bought at $19,000 last year, and I think many of them sold already. Do you have a point,

where you will push the "panic" button?

I doubt that it will go down much further, but if it does... where would you start selling your coins?

I guess i will panic if i see bitcoin reached price below the last year price. The current price is not too scary because it still above $6k, which is higher than the last year price (not on dec 2017 of course. But before btc hit $5k, i think i will sell my coin to cut my losses and i will buy it later when there is a sign of bullish market.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest for Bitcoin on: September 20, 2018, 03:56:20 AM
In the cryptocurrency market, there are two types of crypto. It's Bitcoin and shitcoin. All crypto are in motion and are dominated by bitcoins. The future of bitcoin is unpredictable, you should not trust any shitcoin, including ETH. I believe Bitcoin is a bubble, but
- "Just because a market is in a bubble does not mean it's going to die." Bitcoin has been through over half a dozen big bubbles and increased in price after each one "
If you are a long-term investor, the best way to minimize risk is to invest in bitcoin. As for shitcoin, you should only invest in short term
- "You can make money trading the momentum and hype in shitcoins, just do not invest long term"

Bitcoin has been called bubble for long time, but it is actually not true. If it was a bubble, it would not back to bubbling again because peoples would afraid to buy bitcoin again. But now, bitcoin users and holders is not fewer. Peoples keep buy and sell bitcoin in the market.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: September 20, 2018, 03:23:27 AM
Why shouldn’t we be concerned? Seems like everyone on here is extremely confident will see a bounce back to the December highs and then surpass them, but this dip/crash is now 5 months long. So I’m curious as to why so many of you are confident?

Personally i don't really believe about that because the dip market is staying too long on the bottom.
In the past years, crypto market have bullish market few times, but we don't really see that in this year. Maybe in 2019 crypto will recover.
