821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some good, trusty casinos that support crypto as payment? on: September 24, 2023, 11:29:44 AM
I recently got into online gambling and would like to ask for some recommendations of trusty crypto casinos (and perhaps those to avoid Smiley ).

I don't know if this is a serious question but I assume it is since you are using a new account. But anyways you can check all active casinos on gambling section check this on this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 and try to read each casino thread then find what casino fits on what you are looking for. If you want to ask further question then create another thread so that it can easily to be seen and answered by other helpful members of this forum.
822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 23, 2023, 11:11:01 PM
While some months i've learned how to code Pine Script on Tradingview and backtest with it. But i can't get good results even if many combination of indicators.  Undecided  When i look at past data manually, it works smoothly but this data retrospective and indicators can't drawn in future.

In my opinion no. If we are really able to analyze the indicators well, then this will have a good effect too. However, TA does not guarantee that our trading will always be 100% successful. Because in the crypto market world, nothing is 100% certain.
However, having the ability to analyze indicators better will be much better than not having the ability to analyze and only using feeling when opening positions and taking profits. At least TA will help us decide several things when trading. If it is not currently producing results, maybe there is still something wrong in the settings or in the analysis. Not only that, fundamental analysis is also needed in this case to carry out the best strategy for trading.

Wrong perception of others that TA can give them a guarantee profit that's why they easily believe on people says that they are good on it then follow their released TA or worst buy a subscription with them. But they realize that it didn't work on their end that's why they get frustrated about the result. Maybe they should learn for theirselves to know about doing TA so that they can analyze each situation on their own and get high chances to gain from the trades they make.
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 23, 2023, 12:57:41 PM
I believe the main reason for that to end a bit later than what they anticipated was the fact that it wasn't clear what they wanted with the topic of it. When you do something like Halloween or Christmas or valentines day etc etc, you know there is a topic for it and it's clear what they want from us as well. But that August one that had to be extended wasn't clear at all and it was just august, that's it.
Halloween, Christmas and Valentines events are far from now but so discussions about them right now can go in to the air and be forgotten. I believe Roobet marketing team do remember about their past marketing programs around those special days and they will come back with similar or new programs to celebrate those days.

Rules can be changed by the team but with public announcement, it will not be big issue for participants. Events and marketing programs are enjoyable, not to feel headache about them.

No sense to talk about events that is far to happen since to many changes will be change depends on the decision of casino owner. So maybe its good to discuss the current event since from that we may have valid talks to create. Roobet is always updated with events so there's nothing to worry about that nor to be surprised since for sure they are one of the casino will held something cool to their community.

So for now maybe much good to anyone to discuss about what they can share about the art contest or their gambling result since for sure this one is more interesting to read by those legit gamblers.
824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 23, 2023, 11:54:16 AM
Maybe next year we can see on what trajectory are we going on since this is deciding factor especially that halving is incoming and this might be an important events where people wait since many think that hype will start and it can help bitcoin price will start to have a bull run.
That's the most awaited event that we're all excited to hear. Halving definitely is like the go signal of when the bull run will start. It may not come on an instant as based on the past cycles. But you get the thought of it that whenever it is there, it's like an automatic response and thought that bull run is coming in shortly.

For now the only thing we can do is to speculate on what will happen next year but same as other halving season effects we can expect that this will bring good pumps to bitcoin since that's what we see for the past halving effect and its been listed on history. So maybe now its a great opportunity for us to gain something especially when we want to risk and join the speculators to wait for something good to happen in that event.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 22, 2023, 11:29:24 PM
I think the major reason why most women engage in gambling is because of the kind of environment they happened to find themselves in. Money they said is not a gender based tool so when they see most men around them gamble and win at the end of the day, they'll want to get involved in that same thing the men are doing and getting financial returns.
Gambling does not have gender restrictions and in as much as more women feel okay in gambling, it's absolutely finefor them to get involved.
It is true that women have greater curiosity than men and when they (women) see lots of people (men) gambling, it is not impossible that they will do it because of that curiosity. There is less gambling among women than men and usually women gamble just to have fun because most women don't have a strategy or pattern to win at gambling. Therefore, let them gamble if they don't harm the people around them, maybe by gambling they can lighten the burden they carry a little in a day.
I think in this case curiosity is not the main thing when women want to gamble because in the end not all are like that and it doesn't even make sense when they gamble just because they are curious.
The problem of gambling does not see gender or anything because in the end everything can do but for this woman also actually I see that environmental factors and the closest people influence, which distinguishes and is considered a mistake in this case because of the impression of women who should not do things like this and it is considered negative but for me a sense of curiosity will arise when the environment that is lived in and the closest people do gambling so in this case whether it is a woman or a man all have that sense.

Maybe curiosity to what other people say to them about fun and possible earnings they can get playing on casino makes woman decide to play on a casino. Also peer pressure is additional factor convince them since sometimes friends activities can make us decide to play so that we can join to their activities then have fun with them. And this is not wrong or mistake decision they could think it will be only wrong if they became obsessive then get into addiction, but if they are doing fine and bet less just for fun then there's nothing wrong with the new activity they are participating on.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is nsa behind the creation of bitcoin? on: September 22, 2023, 12:01:40 PM
nic carter saying that the NSA is the one who created Bitcoin, so NSA is Satoshi Nakamoto? although this is just a theory, on the news they are showing evidence that it was the NSA who created Bitcoin what are your thoughts?
here is the link to the news:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/nic-carter-supports-bitcoin-invented-by-nsa-conspiracy-theory

Don't easily believe on what you read or see in internet since any article could deceive you. Satoshi's identity is a hot topic that's why many media sites create fake claims so that they can gather a lot of engagement and earn a lot of money from it. Just wait for someone or entities that can show a strong proof that can expose the real identity of the Bitcoin creator. Its a waste of energy to believe or engage with their claims if they cannot support it with strong evidence.

Am not really interested in anything related to the metaverse since I just feel that it's a big gimmick to be frank, but this is still a good option for gamblers who are interested in VR gambling online.

Poker could become a big hit on this platform if it's available and if there are minimal bugs/performance issues.

Can't blame you since to many people use that for just marketing but no actual product show that's why many think that this is just used for marketing stint. But bitcasino for sure can deliver that experience to their gamblers knowing that they are willing to adapt to the changes and create something new to reach more clients.

828  Economy / Reputation / Re: Looks like a phishing attack! Should we avoid them? on: September 21, 2023, 03:24:25 PM
I received this message a while ago, but came to know about it recently, I am not a crypto expert, but I do have some idea that this is some sort of phishing attack. But honestly, at first, I thought it was not, because the member has a copper account means he must have paid some amount to register the account. I came to know about copper membership from here ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198278.msg52972617#msg52972617 ). I thought he had paid some amount so he must be generic because he has spent money so why would he try to attack others using the same account? While can get banned after doing it?

I have learned a lot about this forum, and also learned a lot about crypto from it too. But I think we should all avoid these types of messages. But I thought I should have shared it here for confirmation purposes and to warn others about these types of scams. I hope I am not posting something that is already been discussed. TY

There's a link sent thru pm so I guess that person have evil plan to you and its good that you ignore him since no people will give you easy money thru pm so think so many times about link sent to you. Much better if you ignore all of it especially those unfamiliar links and entertain only the links where you know you engage with or sent to you by legitimate people. To many scams happened by clicking those dangerous link so don't let yourself included on their victim list.
829  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: September 21, 2023, 12:33:59 PM
The main reason why burning doesn't really change the price on short term is the fact that it was already at the team and it was already out of the market. This has been talked about before, if the team already has those tokens, then burning them or holding them doesn't change the market price, maybe psychologically you will feel better about it, but the end result is the same.

Buybacks are important in this case, they do make a change in the market if they ever do it, but the burning of the tokens that are in the holding? That doesn't really make a change on the short term. Long term it does, because it lowers the supply which would mean if the demand stays the same, with less supply, the price will gradually go up.

Burning BFG tokens on a monthly basis as it is now has no effect on the BFG price either in the short term or in the long term. Some calculations on this matter have been mentioned earlier in this thread. As for the buyback, it could really have some effect, but I doubt that the Betfury team has any plans for it since they have never mentioned it once.

No sense at all doing that if there's no demand created and even if they burn some excess token still many investors know already that there's no big effect will happen since they see it for so many times on other project.

Maybe buyback can do something but I think they will not waste any resources doing that since there's no assurance on their side that they can return back the funds they use to create a hype on their project.
830  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 21, 2023, 10:51:13 AM
Some are bullish already, let me say that dont get too excited as we are still in bearish. Reserved your joy once you see it really happening and right now position yourself if you are that confident that it will happen again. Expectation is really hurtful when it didnt happened.
Exactly.
It's okay to be bullish but don't get confident that we're already bullish on this part. The year has still got some months before we end as we go to the next year which is the halving. Just do what you can do silently like accumulating Bitcoin and buying your bias cryptos because you'll never know what will be the other coins that shall be brought up by the bull run as well.

We can't consider that we are in bullish right now since we are experiencing some dumps and a short pump movement so maybe this is just normal flow of crypto at the moment. Maybe next year we can see on what trajectory are we going on since this is deciding factor especially that halving is incoming and this might be an important events where people wait since many think that hype will start and it can help bitcoin price will start to have a bull run.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 20, 2023, 01:15:04 PM
Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

They may think that what we do is always good for them that's why we can see those kids exposed on such activity dealing to similar activities at early age that's why its good for us and to our child that we should not expose them on this kind of activity since they might develop a violent traits which we don't like to see from them. We must keep our our hobby as a secret and its up for them when they grow up to follow what we do if they found out but we make sure that they are properly guided so that we can make sure that everything on their side is so fine and no elements can harm them.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins? on: September 20, 2023, 12:09:29 PM
Perhaps I've always been a lone ranger, which sometimes makes me feel lonely. I'd like to connect with cryptocurrency investors from around the world and share our insights and experiences.
I would say that buying stuff like bitcoin and ethereum would be the smart way to go, and you would be able to find communities for traders on telegram to chat about it as well. Just go to telegram, write on the search bar "crypto trading group" or something and I am sure you will find a bunch of it. I get that it is not an organic way of finding people, you will be forcing it, but at the very least you will not be alone.

For newbies its really better.if they could just buy bitcoin and other top so they can practice there trading skills on this coins and they will not get worried about if they might be scam since this coins are giants in the market. But I may not recommend him to go to telegram since there are so many scammers there. Much better if he stays on trading discussion and altcoin boards since he can learn a lot there.

Better to stay with top assets and continue to study the market, it's not easy since even those coins can be shaken but along the way it will bounce compared with a pump and dump project which most of the time will dump and die after some time. You need to be precise in working on studying the project that you are buying. There are many available coins but only a few will survive, especially when bear season is ongoing. Take time and not to rush yourself in placing your investment.

there's always a good timing, just slow yourself and continue analysing the market and once you are already convinced that you are good to go, then invest the amount that you are willing to risk.

When we are in situation that there's high chance to gain its better to select those coins which have high chance to gain so its better to select those top coins rather than those altcoins which we don't know if there devs will do some good hyping methods to create noise while bull run is happening since its important to see which coin will get a hype when good events slowly occurring.
There's really a good timing on everything so we make sure not to mess around so that we will not missed any possibly chances to gain especially last bull run where many people missed the opportunity to gain since they are easily afraid for possible downfall that unexpectedly happen.
833  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 20, 2023, 10:20:35 AM
I am not saying there is another place where they put all their effort into, I am just saying they distribute it to many other places. This is why they only take a look at things that seems serious, like complaints and accusations which they have to find a middle ground and show they are a legit casino.

Well in fact alot of sites owner rarely put in any effort in bitcointalk anymore. You dont really see Stunna around anymore as well as wetsuit because they have someone to run the thread for them but in Rollbit's case I think Hhampuz probably will notify the owner if there is anything that they need to deal with so yeah. It doesnt actually matter that much even if they around though

Most of those casinos have assigned person to handle their campaigns that's why they don't see the need to became more active when they see that the person they hire is doing really fine here. But if there's issue come up most of the casino representative come up here and explain the situation about what happen on certain cases that's why we see some of them find out that they abuse the casino and some legitimate cases has been solve.

The bonus free spins are just recently added on the rules, started last May with the theme Roo Rock the Cosmos. This is due to the AI arts submitted of some users who joined this contest. Hence, it is added so the artists can show their work in progress as proof that it's not made through AI. Anyway yes, it's been a while since we last saw @so98nn participated on art contest with his pencil carving skills. Do you still have plan to join again?
They started to award more participants as much as possible and giving the free bonus is their way to appreciate the luck and real participants. There’s a lot of artist who skip the recent contest, I guess its because of the theme or maybe they there are just busy. Well, there’s a new art contest and I expect to see more participants this time as the theme is not that hard.
or maybe others are losing hopes because of how competitive partaking in ROobet
art contest nowadays as the participants is getting better and better and others looks professional artist looking at their works.
but even if how competitive or great the opponents , yet this is another challenge if you are a real artist to try your best beating  those better one.

Losing hope? I guess not since they can still showcase their talents to global community even if they didn't win on the contest. Maybe on that round many choose to rest because some confusion on the theme happened but maybe for this round we can see that many might participate again. The prizes given is still appealing so maybe there are still many talented people will  participate and try to get a place to win some amount on this contest. Its a big challenge to compete with those guys who always win in the contest and many participants will do all their best to be called a winner in this round.

Why newbies are more afraid of bear market than senior crypto users? Is it because they don't know that bull market will come up later?.

Because they always see the risk of  losing their money and they also don't know what to do when this situation exist that's the reason why they end up losing. But don't worry about thay we have this saying that experience is the best teacher so once they experience to many bearish and bullish market condition for sure they can learn on how to strategize their trades according to existing condition.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: September 17, 2023, 03:01:41 PM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses

Referral bonuses are not meant to become an income stream by themselves, at least not the refer a friend type that is most familiar to regular players, who are able to earn a little bit of extra cash on. The real money given out by casinos and bookmakers for referrals will come from "affiliate programs" that are usually not even linked to on their main website, but you'll find them when searching separately. That is how they draw in extra players from all sorts of different sources. The advertisers who run affiliate marketing campaigns are usually working on huge volumes of traffic and doing calculations of conversions where they might only make a few cents per thousand visitors, but if they can find enough it adds up to big profits.

I disagree, referral can be considered an income stream since it is a passive way of getting money through referrals.  This is one big reason why many gambling review site advertises their referral link.  They new that referral system when established would give them a continuous flow of income.

A referral system only becomes a waste when it is done half-heartedly or the person does not know the essentials and must do of a referral system.

It can be a good source of income if a person do this is so dedicated on sharing his referral links anywhere and can able to upgrade theirselves to maximize his possible exposure. This is what influencers done and they gather good amount of cash for their ref links, but if a person is lazy or to shy for promoting something maybe this will not be a good source of income to them since they will not get any good return for their slow action done to their personal links.
838  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitunix: KYC solution? on: September 17, 2023, 01:06:58 PM
Never heard that exchange and other also doesn't know about that exchange so you need to take extra measure if you are planning to provide the KYC ask especially for those new exchange since the possibilities mentioned on your thread might happen since there's a huge risk of anything especially our identity is so flexible and can use on any means.
That's why its important for us to consider the reputation of the exchange before partly take on their KYC process so that we may have some good assurance that this exchange is safe compare to other new exchange in the market.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: September 17, 2023, 12:03:41 PM
What you've mentioned happens. People never understand well about gambling. At the starting days the gamblers used to be lucky. I don't know how good this is happening around with the users. I've personally experienced it. If I've come out of it with the early stage win, then it could've been good for me. I didn't do it, but I kept gambling and end up losing everything. This is the reality with most of the users, when they realise everything could've got over and they're away from their lucky part. We need to understand well about gambling, if not what we could experience is massive losses.

Most people think that casinos are places to make money, but that's wrong, casinos are places to spend money. If they (gamblers) can't forget the money they spent at the casino then they will deposit again, again, and again. This is the beginning of their addiction to gambling.

I agree with you, that gamblers initially had a lot of luck and big wins. Whether the casino sets its algorithm like that or not, but after playing for longer, the losses keep coming. Do you have a gambling schedule? maybe once a week or would you gamble every day if you had the money?

Most people think that gambling can make money; they don't think it's bad. But what they see and think is that if they hit the jackpot with their small capital, they can get rich immediately. Their thinking is positive.

But they don't think that what often happens in gambling is that the gamblers lose. And most of them don't notice that they are already losing a lot when they play at the casino in the field of crypto gambling. So it is also a good habit that we should only gamble by scheduling when we have gambling here and also limiting the amount that the gambler gambles.

I'm not quite sure what you base your conclusions on. Any gambler who can at least a little analyze and calculate perfectly understands that in a gambling game losing is as natural as winning, but its probability is slightly higher, because gambling is a zero-sum game and if someone wins, someone must lose. In addition, gambling providers take a percentage for the organization of gambling space.

Do you really think that most gamblers do not understand such simple things?

Instead of focusing on other things which is not totally important maybe they should focus on developing theirselves so that they can control their sessions and can possibly limit the losing time and can take out something while they are lucky.

Gambling is not only about winning and losing since if we always think that losing is normal then why we keep playing if we know that we have high chance to lose? Experience develops our discipline so we must learn on our everyday experience.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: September 16, 2023, 10:17:15 PM
Actually I don't trust any altcoins in the market even if they are good and have good volume since I always consider the risk so that will always do precautionary measure to avoid losing. But if you say what altcoins we prefer to trade then most common answer with that is the top altcoin and less people will say new coins or tokens since its hard to deal with new since commonly scams happen on early phase.
That's the reason its better to trade coins which exist for long time to avoid big worries regarding on potential scamming.
