831  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 17, 2014, 01:37:04 AM
leaving everything at default and just changing to 211 your rig shuts down but does not with the default?

exactly

If so, try your Jupiter with 3 modules plugged in, if that works then you are just at the edge of your power supply.

Its a 1050W PSU so i dont expect it to be at the limit, yet. I suspect that the Seasonic is very sensitive when it comes to little power peaks and shuts itself down.

What PSU are known to work with those overclocked jupiters?

I'm using a 1000w seasonic plat. psu using 231 so mabye your psu is going out or can't handle the extra strain on 12v rail...you could also try taking out the pcie extender cables, I noticed a drop in input volts when i had those hooked up...have another psu to test it out? I haven't had an issue with mine for oc'in yet...

837  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: TheBat Miners Shop [KnC and BFL in Stock!] on: January 14, 2014, 12:13:46 AM
This guy seems to stink of the motatoys guy, which I just tagged with distrust for being extremely suspicious. This guy is also fresh registered, and looking to sell a crapton of highly sought-after expensive mining hardware. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same person

BUYER BEWARE

Do not send him any BTC or money without an approved escrow, unless you are meeting and trading face to face and can verify the hardware on the spot.

Hey guys. I am selling some mining merchandise that I have received in the past 6 months to a year. They have all been used and I have made my money so I am looking to sell them.

To buy PM me the following format:
Model:
Your Offer:
How you intend on paying: (I accept BTC, LTC, and if your trusted PayPal)

I will then PM you if i have any in stock and possibly a counteroffer.

I am debating wether or not to post my stocks or not.

I only sell to US, and I will use escrow if applicable.

Current Stock:
BFL Mini Rig: 3
KnC Jupiter 650GH/s: 2
KnC Saturn: 5

I agree, sent offer with escrow and no reply yet...we'll see how it goes..but i ain't hopeful lol
838  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 13, 2014, 01:36:13 AM
so, with my temps can i try "850.0 211" without much risks?

i run 231 on 4vrm and 211 on 8vrm(just started)

i run 231 on both 4 and 8 vrms modules both are fine
839  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Butterfly Labs Mini Rig 500GHs on: January 12, 2014, 09:08:34 PM
Cover those tracks quick....lmao!  Scammer exposure is becoming a spectator sport on here.

yes it is, but everyone is trying so hard to either scam or not to get scamed lol just sucks that you have to go thru all this to get some mining gear
840  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 12, 2014, 08:52:01 PM
Just two questions:
a) max temps ? 70-75-80 Celsius?
b) max watt and amp ?

Thanks  !  Cheesy

nobody knows, or you get misleading info from 2 ppl from knc...hno said nothing over 50a is safe n bit..something said 64a is safe..so up to you on who ya believe and i have no idea on safe max temps...but as always the cooler the better Smiley
