821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest for 2017 ? on: February 07, 2017, 06:15:25 PM
I would recommend investing in byteball as its a more complete crypto as compared to bitcoin using DAG technology  it allows you to  choose to have transactions visible or untraceable for privacy conscious users , and the availability of multisig means you can't be burnt in a deal which is a good security feature and it is not exclusive to monetary but other assets too.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: February 07, 2017, 02:43:43 PM
Not all games need analysis but when waging on sports events  I have to go through past games played, any injury concerns of the team and avoid leagues known for match fixing altogether to avoid any surprise results.
Believe it or not analyzing games in sports betting works 70% of the time!
823  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain FEE high ?????? on: February 07, 2017, 12:27:29 PM
GUYS about TAX FEE in blockchain  why is high 0.0015 BTC HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh
will make fee normal at normal ?

give me some advice : i change to XAPO or other wallet secured like Btc.com or i stay in blockchain ?

Knowing about the backlog of unconfirmed TXs  you will want to keep transaction fees even higher to avoid malleability if you want to see tx confirmations faster.

ADVICE: Blockchain.info isn't the problem so changing of wallets won't fix the problem unless you pay higher tx fees.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: February 07, 2017, 09:14:26 AM

Bitcoin without the altcoin is not good and it would never came so far without it for sure...
although alt coins are not necessary for bitcoin but still they are providing a little support to bitcoin. as most of the people like to invest their bitcoins in alt coins and for that reason i think alt coins are important for bitcoin.
You are totally wrong. Altcoin is very important since their dev know how to develop the coin with the new technology based on the blockchain system. Bitcoin is an origin and it is not as strong as other cryptos on the advance technology aspects. Therefore, with altcoin, Bitcoin can know its weakness and dev team will know how to fix Bitcoin appropriately

Altcoins are certainly a  good platform to try out new technologies like litecoin is doing with segwit if the tech works & doesn't centralize cryptos it might get adopted by bitcoin and altcoins make it difficult for regulators to have control of any cryptos for continued their existence.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: February 06, 2017, 08:38:07 PM
Bitcoins decentralization and open ledger makes it functional and being a parent crypto will continue seeing it as #1 and hopefully if the blocksize  issue is sorted out btc will keep being number #1 and not lose its userbase despite major companies around the world wanting to have their own cryptocurencies to challenge bitcoin and other known coins.

Thanks Yahoo and Byteball team payment has come through
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: February 06, 2017, 02:36:43 PM
I don't not use my bitcoins on a daily basis because I see them as an investment platform rewarding me in the long run...
Though I use my bitcoin visa debit card when I want to spend some as it gives me some protection from scammers and less complications of waiting for a transaction to confirm.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years? on: February 06, 2017, 11:30:25 AM
I would use it, no matter the stable price. Bitcoin volatility is very important to traders and all people who want to earn on Bitcoin price but I think that average Bitcoin users also uses it because of other advantages like independency from banks, because transactions are easy or maybe because they have some source of income in Bitcoins.
Longer period of stable price will not hurt bi, that is what I think.
I concur, for many bitcoiners (traders to be specific) fluctuation in price is how money is made and if bitcoin prices were to stabilize...maybe trading with other altcoins would  be a profitable choice in the long run afaik, but since bitcoin price can be easily manipulated by pumps and dumps thanks to its decentralized nature will stick to it for better or worse.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUPER BOWL - WHO YOU GOT? on: February 05, 2017, 11:50:57 PM
Bookies seem to favor New England Patriots and I thought this should have been weighed in at 50-50 chance...otherwise my money is on Patriots to get the Lombardi Trophy with Tom Brady to steer them to victory.. game on-good luck
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we stop putting money in ICO? on: February 05, 2017, 09:40:34 PM
Recent ICO scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1749935.0
Im sure that everyday we notice new ICO coins being created and some has an insane plans like for example $1 = 1 token LMAO!. My thoughts are if there purpose wasn't to scam but they do have the intention to collect the money all they can to secure their lives for a couple of years.

what are your thoughts?

For me, I can't. There are ICOS that has serious goal into development and success of their respective crypto. It's just that we can't really avoid to deal with that kind of fraud activity in the world of crypto. Also investors must now that kind of scam is present especially when investing in an ICO.

Win win situation indeed. Just put some money that is afford to lose. They can still get the advantage after analyzing that the coin will run for a longer period.
Stopping now just might deter a genuine project from taking off  and its a shame that some greedy individuals  are using this platform for personal gains and disappear in thin air when they get funded.
On the positive side of things investors will now have a better  approach of picking the right coins to invest in and  we shall also be able to smell a scam coin a mile away which won't allow such projects to take off.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: February 05, 2017, 08:31:54 PM
When I started I only knew that there are wallets, addresses, faucets and transactions. I did not know how anything works I thought of it only as free money from faucets. Then after a while, I found this forum and that there are signature campaigns. I was active here and gained a rank and I started monetizing my post, I also did tasks for other members and I still roll like that today.
Pretty much the same scenario I have under gone though I was redirected from this forum to other forums for side tasks to earn extra bitcoins which I miss because we earned more bitcoins back then when price was trading for less than $700.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Frustrates You Most When Using Bitcoin? on: February 05, 2017, 05:51:12 PM
One of the features of bitcoins is irreversible transactions which usually works against most bitcoin sellers as  simply trying to buy an item\service usually results in us getting to being easy targets with no trace of the scammer its so annoying.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 05, 2017, 02:31:03 PM
I think INTER will win match against JUVENTUS, because when they play against JUVE seems that are playing a World Cup final! So i'll not surprised if INTER win: i expext something like 2-1  Smiley
inter was able to beat Juventus while playing at home ground few months ago indeed there is possibility to inter win the match but for now it's different because Juventus playing for home matches and during this season Juventus almost have 100% win results for home matches so your pick is very risky because Juventus also not weak and i think JUventus can avenge their defeat
AFAIK there is no easy game in football though juventus are favorites to win this game with their impressive tactical formation  and will be hoping  to stretch their 27 game unbeaten run at home against inform Inter Milan. For these power houses a draw would a good result »» 1-1.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: February 05, 2017, 09:39:35 AM
Price does matter and if you are a miner or generally a seller it will motivate you to supply more bitcoins to the market to meet needs met but if there is over supply market gets flooded and price will drop.
Some say btc price controls altcoin price when it drops alts gain and when btc raises alts pull down.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins worth investing on: February 05, 2017, 06:33:41 AM
What is your opinion about ICN? Whether it is promising? Seems to me serious, and the entire dev team.
Now I have a little investment there, and I decided to wait until July no matter what happens. after that, I will think what to do next

Saying the truth there are many altcoins in the market than ever and it's hard to decide which one can be successful and which one can not, from the charts I see that many coins have their own pump and dump which most of the time is because of their developers or their team and sometimes it happens because of the bitcoin price.

There are many altcoins now actually that has a promising project. And If I only have  a lot of fund I will invest them one by one, But in reality I can't do it because you know don't have much fund to avail it, So I choose the best coin on which has the best project too, even the price is high I will keep buying on it, like WBB this coin has been here for a years and up to now the project was still in progress and the developer is also active.
Its quite difficult to pick the right altcoin to invest in with so many promising projects indeed because they might be over or undervalued but I believe purevidz has a good concept and strong developer team that people will easily buy in to keep it active and growing.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with SegWit support on: February 04, 2017, 09:51:12 PM
Did Litecoin really nees segwit or its a test for its big brother BTC ?
This should really be a test of segwit on ltc though non of the known altcoins experience transaction  malleability and will not be feasible for bitcoin to adopt it at the moment.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 04, 2017, 04:03:30 PM
Chesea 3-0 with Cesc Fabregas who thanks for the gift Cech!
Well Arsenal did score 1 goal but it was a chelsea dominant  match overall .
With this fantastic win, Chelsea has the premier league in his hands and is about 51% of Antonio Conte
Yup , wanted to see liverpool or arsenal at the top but they played some poor matches .
Hull City vs Liverpool: Bet to win on Liverpool
Less odds for Liverpool , I think going for over 1.5 goals would be a good pick  .
It was a good game for Chelsea and they are most likely to win the EPL with that performance. If they keep playing the way they did today, they will certainly win the title. Hull City have been playing good football recently and with such low odds on Liverpool I dont think it is worth it to bet on Liverpool ML. Better to stay clear from it.
After Arsenals thrashing, Chelsea are almost guaranteed to be Premier League Winners as they are now 12 points clear at the top with 14 games to play and there is no stopping Conte’s team now. The other top 3 positions is what's left to play for!
838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: February 04, 2017, 02:00:05 PM

There are times that we are having a hard time controlling our emotions especially when it already enters the intense or extreme one. It is a natural so sometimes we let it just happen. But there are ways I do like take a pause in betting so my emotions will cool down.
It is a natural feeling that we just let our feelings go. But, don't just let your emotion controls you, you might do something that you will regret for the rest of your life, just assure that you just let it out and do go beyond the limit or else you will lose for the rest of your life. As per me, one punch is enough.
Expressing your anger or emotion on a physical matter or method it would somehow help to ease the emotion you feel and even a single loud shout will do also as long you burst up those anger so that you wont do something wrong because same as you said you will do something that you will regret for the rest of your life.
I have seen people express their emotions by bursting with a loud shout, others prefer to eating something or just hit something  but what we do or say should not make us regret in the future.
And I confide in a friend or just sleep over my emotions to  easily calm me down as am the collected type .
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 04, 2017, 07:23:30 AM
Gambling was meant to be a recreational activity just like going to the park or playing golf but people get greedy along the way and think they can make  some easy money, but in the long run we are almost guaranteed to lose more money than we get to win, I guess gambling is WRONG because it destroys lives!
840  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: February 03, 2017, 10:32:10 PM
We have different kinds of  signature campaigns that can either be a mere service or altcoin  ICO, of which crowd funding for ICOs can be got from forum members here who have an understanding of cryptos... which is the right target and for social media campaigns these are more targeted at getting users to try out something new which is more of a gamble to owners of the sig as they try to increase their user base. But I think both should be run to be more effective and  get to the right audience.
