821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 20, 2023, 02:10:06 PM
1. To cut your losses and increase your profit: You can conveniently do this by using stop loss or take profit adjustment or trailing stop but in gambling, is one straight end once you have gone on the bet, you either loss all you bet or win or you bet for.

2. A trader can adjust his risk appetite by reducing the lots size to suit his account and determine his appropriate leverage but in gambling, a bettor has to go with the odds provided for the gay. He can't reduce or increase it against the fixed odds.

3. Traders use analytical tools to determine what market price will be and wait for appropriate timing but gamblers play by the rules of casino.

Trading is not gambling. You require luck in gambling but you require work in trading.
Those who compare trading with gambling are actually unaware of what actual trading is and they probably only know about meme coins and buying and selling shit coins for profit which is obviously a gamble with your money because there is no research, no analysis and nothing that can actually let you know if you are going to get any profit or not because their price movements depend on community hype and that cannot be predicted.

Actual trading is done on cryptocurrencies that have organic growth and are volatile based on supply and demand and many other factors, people use charts, do research and analysis, watch for news and events that might affect the prices and place their trades based on that. Gambling is nothing more than a game of luck.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: June 19, 2023, 05:59:49 PM
true use case is also something crucial for every project same as fundamental as well in which gonna determine the demand.
even though there are some coin that could still thrive without this, but it's important to ensure that even in the future the coin will still have its place and its market capital
to be growing, usually though coin with most use case are those that derived from smart contract blockchain.
we all know ethereum is having infinite supply but it's still considered a good investment because the use case is there.
It's not just about the use cases and demand for the blockchain space. We should not forget that well-known smart contract platforms, such as BNB, ETH, also have a combustion mechanism that saves them from increased supply and inflation. Despite the fact that coins with the combustion mechanism also have a maximum supply, it allows them to retain their value well, even during market dumps.
Use case is still the most important thing among all and it will be be better if they team it up with a dedicated team. I already saw a lot of coins who have a burning mechanism but they are still dying. Just take a look at ETH. Its supply is huge and I think it was unlimited but the coin still manage to rise. It's because it is the first coin to have a smart contract functionality.

I think ETH don't also have a burning mechanism. While there are also coins who doesn't have a special use case and no burning mechanism but still manage to rise ( Doge coin for example ). It was possible because it was being shilled by a famous personality and that is none other than Elon Musk.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 19, 2023, 02:18:40 PM
In my opinion, The Bowler will rule in this match because England already in a very critical situation and Australian bowlers are doing good. So Bet Stokes and Bairstow have to play a vital role by making a good partnership. Australia and England both are playing effectively and I think Australia now has a bigger chance to win this match. As they already took the vital 5 wickets, So England's bowers have to put more effort in the next Innings.
And Now the Score is 196/5 for England.
England is struggling hard as the wickets keep falling at regular interval without much partnership being built between players. England have scored 215/7, with 3 wickets left England need another 150 runs to keep its hope of winning the match. Australia bowlers were in good form, Lyon and Cummins have took 3 wickets each. England declared the first innings, maybe if they've continued the first innings might've got little more runs. The match is going to be so close between the two, but we can't be sure who wins the match.
Today from the start of play Australia is having well control on the game and England is having pressure due to lost of quick wickets right now things completely out of way for the England team because we have injured Moeen Ali and Robinson at the crease with two veteran bowlers are left if Australia take these wickets quickly then surely they will be in pool position and take lead in this series.

Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon both take six wickets out of seven, with just Root and Stokes able to have some good runs on board for the home team look like Bazball thing gone in the wrong way for them in the first match of The Ashes.
824  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 19, 2023, 07:01:52 AM
Holders somehow don't panic when they don't have plans to make their 1BTC become 2BTC. The idea why some would panic is because they know what could happen in the next 2 to 3 weeks like BTC price could ge dip to $20K.
Well 1btc can never become 2btc. I say this for hodlers and investors alike. What happens or is obtainable is that, bitcoin value for your hodlings will always fluctuate based on market condition. Other than this, the much you could get to increasing the numeric value of your btc is by trading which goes both ways and by topping your portfolio by buying more btc.
Values will always go up and down but, your numeric value stays the same.
1 Bitcoin can always become 2 Bitcoin but only if you know how to do it, of course, it won't just become 2 Bitcoin if it's kept idle, that will only make its price go up and down as the market moves, but as a trader, if you know when to buy and when to sell a coin, you can turn your 1 Bitcoin to 2 in not much time. All it needs is the ability to read the charts and understand the movements of the market to act accordingly.

What you basically need to do is sell the Bitcoin that you have (in this example, it's 1 Bitcoin) when the price is pretty high, for example, when price had hit $31k earlier, once it is sold, you now have $31k in stable coins, and when price of Bitcoin falls like it is at around $25k now, it may go to $20k as well, you buy when that happens, and then wait for it to go up again, or you can do DCA until it reaches the bottom and then sell when it goes high again. Repeat the same thing for about 2 or 3 times and you will have 2 Bitcoins or maybe even more.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Know the Next PEPE on: June 18, 2023, 04:36:59 PM
Finding the next pepe is easy just by buying all the memecoins that are circulating on the DEX market or on the CEX market,
if you want, then you succeed, but if not it will be difficult for you to do if you only buy a few memecoin.
of course if you do what I suggest it will be risky, so buy it with a capital of at least $ 10/memecoin.
That doesn't sound like a good idea to me considering there can hundreds of meme coins in DEXs and buying each one even with as low as $10 will cost you a lot of money and what if none of them manage to get the attention of the community and gain any value? Because we all know that meme coins depend on community hype to gain value and without that, they are nothing.

In my opinion, investing in meme coins in simply wasting your money, but still if someone wants to try their luck, they should do it on those which have already gained some popularity in the community and has the potential to grow exponentially in near future.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moving with fundamental news on: June 18, 2023, 04:02:23 PM
Every time we get some news based on crypto currency. So the news was the cause of the rise in price or fall of the price. The prediction of bitcoin price by various traders and sharing on forum also affect the price of bitcoin in the market. The demand in the bitcoin in the market will also had some effect of the bitcoin price. Some call of trading signals also become a cause for price change in certain coin.
It always happens that news affects the price of the crypto market, but the difference is that only true news can affect the price of Bitcoin, fake news that speculators try to use to influence the market will not have a very big impact because Bitcoin's fundamentals are very strong compared to other coins. Bitcoin is back to a price of $26,000 and in this month perhaps the best price is $27,500. And always believe in Bitcoin fundamentals that have been tested in many difficult situations because the news that appears is true or not but Bitcoin is bounce back again.
As long as Binance and Coinbase are fighting against SEC for the allegations against them, I doubt if Bitcoin and the overall market will have much recovering, small ups and downs are a part of it, but it won't be able to go up much, so I believe this is nothing more than a trap for those who might start buying because it will dip again very soon and those who buy right now will regret their decision most probably.

The bounce back will take some time and it probably won't happen this month considering there is only about two more weeks for the month to end and we are yet to know the verdict of the cases going on, so we should probably either just wait or do DCA if the price starts dropping again.
827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: June 17, 2023, 06:29:32 PM
in doing short-term trading, I think we are more inclined to use technical analysis than fundamental analysis, because we analyze the market every day. so it is not possible to use related fundamental analysis for long term. therefore every trader must be able to analyze chartists to find support and resistance to place transactions. and we certainly have to follow market movements more often. or we can place targets and stop losses and we can leave them.
Different types of strategy can be done once you are already familiar with how the market moves.

It's always depends from how you understand the situation and how you adjust with every market movements, same with other
trading industry, there are stiuation where you can buy when fear is dominating then sell when everyone are thinking that it
will pump for more, TA will give you hint and it's very useful if you know how to play it well.
The cryptocurrency market moves in 3 ways. And they are; Upward, Stable, and Downward. Once we know all these movements, we can also create 3 kinds of strategies for it. Crypto trading doesn't have a big difference from other trading markets. If there is one major difference that will only be volatility in crypto which are very high.

We are free to apply some strategies we have on other trading markets. The one that you are telling there which is to buy when others are fearful are I think mainly used for investing and not really for trading. The crypto trading is unpredictable but doing a technical analysis can be a big help to us to have a better success rate.
828  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 17, 2023, 03:06:23 PM
The recent crisis at Binance, one of the world's largest crypto currency exchanges, has caused concern among investors and traders in the crypto market. Binance has been facing regulatory pressure from various countries, including United States, Japan and the United Kingdom, which has led to restrictions on its services in these regions. The impact of the Binance crisis on the crypto market is uncertain at this time. While some investors may be hesitant to continue trading on the platform, others may see this as an opportunity to invest in alternative exchanges or crypto currencies. The overall effect on the market will depend. on how quickly effectively Binance is able to address the regulatory concerns and restore investor confidence.
Traders from the countries where the regulatory pressure is coming from are probably not using the platform anymore or even if they are using it, they are obviously afraid of it shutting down services, but I believe even if they halt services for a certain country, they will obviously give some time to their users to withdraw their funds before they close down the platform for them which is one thing that might give traders some peace of mind.

Global traders of Binance are probably not afraid of anything yet apart from trading BNB because it has become highly volatile right from the day the news of SEC suing Binance came out and it has dropped significantly since then with no sign of going up any time soon.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: June 17, 2023, 06:31:20 AM
With DCA strategy, choosing the right coin to invest is very important. You can search for coins that have technological potential and are appreciated by the community. Some altcoin options can be ETH, XRP, BNB, ADA, DOT, ARB, SUI... depending on the level of research and evaluation of each person, we can decide to put our trust in them.
Besides, pay attention to the fact that the value of cryptocurrencies can fluctuate greatly in a day or a month, so you should make investment decisions based on long-term goals.
Well, the altcoins that you mentioned are all good and have the potential for growth if they are bought and kept for the long term, I personally think one shouldn't invest a lot of money in altcoins apart from ETH because that is the most trusted altcoins out there and the chances of things going wrong with it are very minimal, so it's better if someone invests a bigger chunk of their capital in ETH after Bitcoin and only buy other coins with small amounts to avoid taking too much risk.

And, with the case from SEC and everything going on with Binance, I wouldn't recommend buying BNB at this moment until things settle down and Binance comes out clean from all the accusations and stuff because BNB can move unpredictably for anything that might happen.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving effects, how long they will last? on: June 17, 2023, 05:21:10 AM
It's bull market trend. Really I much appreciated with you. There have 4 years that can change the trend. Hopefully I can say, it's the time to growing bitcoin again and again.
The current market is indeed very good for growing your portfolio by buying altcoins or bitcoin,
because we see that the price of both is currently at the bottom, it would be a shame if we just watched because the halving will also happen soon,
be patient 2024 is only a few months away.
We might not be at the bottom just yet, and no one really knows what the bottom price will be, we can only make predictions and speculate but the market can always go against us and prove us wrong, so we should simply act as per the market and how unpredictable it is instead of following our own instincts. Expert analyzers might give indications about the next moves of the market but even they are not sure about it.

I always recommend people willing to buy Bitcoin or altcoins in such situations to do DCA, keep buying at every price intervals when the market is going down because we can't know when the bottom is and we don't want to miss it as well, so it's better if we buy in portions instead of buying all at once.
831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found a trading strategy that blew my mind! on: June 16, 2023, 03:05:53 PM
Haha, you have no idea darling what’s in the trading and how it can change things for you in short time. Well the problem is either that could be correct trend or wrong trend and most of the time it’s the second one. Why? Because first trading has got no proper analysis when it comes to the crypto currencies. The volatility is the master player here and it can run down you at any moment. Recently I have been reading lot of trading related articles and posts on the forum and they are members since very long with extensive knowledge of trading. They themselves teach us how hard it is and how they have not found the sweet spot yet. So better to be alert while trading.
Maybe he does have some, because why will he know such things he is talking about? But if you mean about the loopholes he was asking, well there is no such thing as that. We ain't hacking a system here but to earn a good amount of money in trading will purely depends on our skills and knowledge.

Trading is a fast paced activity. It can make you or break you in a few seconds. It's highly risky but very rewarding. Cryptos are random but it does not mean, we can not make a proper analysis anymore. We still can of course and it helps us to have a better success rate when trading. Volatility is not a problem. It's our ally actually. The real enemy here is the manipulations and other problems which can occur unexpectedly.
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high will Bitcoin rise, or fall, in 2023? on: June 16, 2023, 08:31:10 AM
I can expect $45k to be the high in 2023, while $20k to be the low.
There is also a possibility that the Bitcoin price will increase towards the end of this year. Everyone knows that there will be a halving and all predictions are that the price will increase. Why wait for 2024 when there are such predictions? I think so too, and I think it would be good to act early. That's why I'm making small purchases now rather than waiting for 2024. When the 2024 halving arrives, we may regret not buying at the current price.
Well, doing DCA is always a good strategy when the market is down or is going down day by day, if one has enough funds at hand, they should keep buying at intervals and keep holding until the price reaches around its previous all-time high or reaches the target one has set in their mind for selling their Bitcoins, once that target is hit, they should go ahead and sell them and enjoy the profits.

I agree with you that one shouldn't wait for the perfect time to buy because it is not possible to perfectly time the market for everyone even the ones who are big experts and claim to know almost every move of the market, even their predictions fail sometimes.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what happened to the market today? on: June 15, 2023, 12:10:24 PM
No need to shock with the market, all of this situation happen because of the problem between sec and binance.
Worst thing could be happen if Binance lose against SEC, it totally gonna drag our market into the ground.
Then we gonna see another crash, maybe the price of btc can jump back into 15k.
I wouldn't expect the market to crash so severely that the price of Bitcoin will hit $15k because even if Binance loses against SEC, that will only affect the US Branch of the exchange and there won't be issues with the global version. That's why, the dip won't be that big, but I do believe that it will drop at least to some extent because no matter what, it is still a part of it.

We won't be able to stop the market from reacting because there will always be panic sellers who wouldn't listen to your words in such situations and will sell their assets or simply keep spreading FUD all around causing others to panic as well.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: June 15, 2023, 11:35:01 AM
You are right that trading as a side hustle is profitable and those who totally depends on trading become more likely to face risks as if they don't get any  profit then it will become hard for them to continue trading. Trading should be considered as a part time job as it is very risky you don't know that in next step will you be a profitable trader or loss all your money so just put little money and continue your regular job with part time job as trading.
I think you are taking trading as gambling because I don't think that you can lose all your money in trading unless you are trading futures without knowledge and experience or trading tokens which are not worth trading at all, otherwise, if you gain some knowledge and experience and trade with caution and follow risk management techniques and practices, you shouldn't face many issues.

Trading can be a full-time gig if you understand how everything is done, all you need is good capital, enough knowledge, experience, and time, then focus on your trades and risk-management, you can earn good enough to live your life with ease if you can manage it well.
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 14, 2023, 08:23:04 PM
Meanwhile, in my opinion, the sentiment in June is still very bearish, because some bad news came such as Binance vs SEC,
Coinbase vs SEC and several exchanges that went bankrupt,
this is why good news like China which legalized cryptocurrencies still can't make the market bullish.
To be honest, I was already bearish about Bitcoin even before all this SEC targeting exchanges thing came to the surface, I knew that Bitcoin will go below $25k or maybe around $22k which we might see very soon, the price wasn't being able to hold itself above $27k before there wasn't much support or buying pressure from investors as everyone was expecting a further dip.

Now with all this bad news circulating in the market and retail investors panicking, I don't see it going up anytime soon until things settle down after all these cases are done with, if exchanges face defeat, we should expect the price to dip even further.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: June 13, 2023, 06:08:09 PM
If you just said Altcoins the context will be too broad, it could also mean the shitty altcoin too. For the top altcoins, I can say that I am still confident with most of them, they will sustain as long as the cryptomarket is still quite alive. And actually the bear market has some good impact too, people are more careful so those scammer will think twice before launching their shitty altcoin.
No matter what the condition of the market is, scammers are always going to try their luck, and most of the time, they succeed in luring more and more newbie investors into their projects and then they ask those new members to bring more members and that is how they create the network of hype in the community and we all know how excited we get when we hear about multiple x profits.

And when it comes to being careful, these are the same people who usually invest in meme coins only with the hope that they might get more than 2x from the point they've bought, and that only happens if a meme coin has gained enough community hype before getting launched and after the launch as well.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 13, 2023, 03:26:29 PM
For now I haven't received any news regarding players who are really suitable for Real Madrid apart from Kane. it's just that Real Madrid are unlikely to go after Kane. But for next season, maybe Real Madrid will focus on pursuing Mbappe, who reportedly has only one year left on his contract at PSG and will not be renewed. so that next season Real Madrid will definitely want Mbappe no matter what.
Some of media has been speculate Real Madrid are withdraw from to gets Kane this because Tottenham aren't willing to negotiate about Kane price because Tottenham want not less than 100 millions but Real Madrid feel this price is too expensive especially to the player who only have 1 year remaining contract just like Kane so Real Madrid possibly will find another players and recently after Mbappe has decide not to extended his contract with PSG and i think Madrid should be pursuing him immediatelly because in my opinion only Mbappe who deserve to called as the replacement of Benzema and i know the price will be very expensive but i think it doesn't matter for Real Madrid because they are rich club and they have money
No doubt now Real Madrid is having some problem due to sudden exit of Benzema with Tottenham is also not going to negotiate about Harry Kane price with they are still with their demand and Real Madrid is not going to pay this all which mean now they are looking for any other player with Mbappé is now also in limelight with this news he is not going to extend his contract with PSG which is going to end 2024 so PSG will surely sell him immediately but Real Madrid president already announces they will not go with the current price of him so now things looking interesting how they will settle this all because without main striker they will be gone down like we have Liverpool in Premier League surely they need to fix this all before start of season for the better end and positive results.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2023, 02:35:43 PM
I doubt the news, Maybe he likes to leave, but as usual, he will not. Mbappe has been one of the major players in that PSG team. In important games where he does not play, we always see how PSG struggle because that his ability to make quick runs and score with just a touch will be missing in the game. With Messi now out of PSG and Neymar set to leave too, Mbappe knows there will be more responsibility for him. PSG will get new players in the transfer market, that can majorly play with him to win the champions league in PSG, he is not leaving.
If PSG decided to stop Mbappe this season then that is very big risk because if he decides to leave next season that will be on a free transfer which would cost the club a big fortune thus losing millions of Euros, the only way forward is Mbappe to give assurance to the club that he is staying with the club for a long term basis and ready to sign a new contract, however with some recent speculations of his purported move to Real Madrid is unsettling his club,  of course Real Madrid needed a striker to replace Benzema who had left the club while the club is already on the move to bid for  and sign Harry Kane, however I think Real Madrid will  give up on signing him for Mbappe.
Management is well aware about this all just because of this now they are talking directly with him about future and forcing him to extend his contract, or they will sell him immediately because contract is going to end 2024 which mean if he is not going to extend his contract then next year he can leave PSG as free agent and this could be big lost for them with Real Madrid is ready to take this advantage so most chances we will have all updates about this deal in next few days because they never want to lose him as free agent as they invested millions of Euros on him in last few years.

Many big stars already out of this squad so things looking tricky for the next season if he leaves immediately most chances he will extend his contract even this will be for the 2 or 3 years, but surely something like this going to happen in near future which could be good for the both parties.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: June 12, 2023, 04:58:20 PM
Crypto is a digital currency that comprises different coins. It's important that we understand how this coin works and which to invest in. How do we identify the best coin and the period to invest in these types of coins?
To invest in crypto we must know the science. It is important to learn about how cryptocurrencies work. This can help us determine which coins are good for investing.
You don't really need to know the technical sides of a cryptocurrency to be able to invest in it or to understand if it is good enough for your investment or not, you need to evaluate the project, the team, what the token has to offer, what the project is about, how social the project is and what is the interaction level of the audience with the project, these are some of the ways one can evaluate a project to see if it has got potential or not.

There are a lot of traders who don't have any technical knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrencies but they are successful traders, that is because they've learned the ways of trading and they know how to research a project and analyze it from top to bottom before investing in it.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 12, 2023, 03:46:05 PM
Take note, Casinos will ask or demand a KYC if there's a big winning involved, is this one of their ways to scam their players?
It is a debatable question, no matter how hard to accept this fact it is still one way for casinos to verify user identity. I personally don't deposit as much as the amount that can be subject for KYC verification and it is not safe to share personal documents with third-parties. The same idea is true for some crypto exchanges as well. Maybe they use this method to scam big winners since it is rare to see complaints about the casinos which block user accounts that lost big.
Some casinos will ask you for KYC even if you haven't deposited a lot of money because they might suspect that you are not who you might pretend to be, they sometimes do it after seeing one's betting pattern or maybe if someone is winning a lot especially in sports betting. Some casinos even ask you to complete your KYC right after you make a deposit only to make sure you don't do something.

What I believe in is that if a person doesn't trust a platform with their personal details and documents, they should simply not gamble with them and find a platform that they think is trustable and they won't have any issues even if they are asked to complete KYC verification at any given moment.
