821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 08, 2019, 06:19:25 PM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins

I think Bitcoin has increase its value relative to altcoins. Its dominance becomes significant because it is compared to altcoins. Indeed bitcoin also needs altcoin to dominate the crypto market. Although the majority of altcoins  eventually die, I still think their presence helps in the stability of the crypto market
Yes, as the Op stated it is always necessary to find whether the altcoin or the project has the working product as well as the real life usage. This will keep up the project into usage generating more circulation to the respective altcoins. Going through coinmarketcap it is possible to find more and more projects with real life usage and good product, but there is no growth. Upon that every altcoins can't be expected to grow and reach high.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activies correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 08, 2019, 05:10:54 PM
There is nothing much as a change from the gambling houses based on the price moves of the bitcoin. Most of the time gamblers have things calculated in terms of USD and spends in the form of bitcoin. This makes them spend high on bear market and low volume of bitcoin while the market is bullish. Same as this will be the competition rewards from gambling houses. Very few gambling houses used to reduce the reward based on the market trend while majority adjust with reference to the trend of the market.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: Your favorite Youtube channels about finance and economics? on: October 08, 2019, 04:41:53 PM
I like to learn the things in my native languages so I only goes with native youtube channel where got three of my favourites and one is completely about cryptos and other two were relating common financial situation happenings. But one financial stock investment advisior goes against cryptos due to lack of knowledge about it still I like the other things from his channel.
Myself too the same, I prefer watching in my native language. In English we've got more channels to broadcast information related to cryptocurrencies. Earlier I was using those channels, and after a hard search found a channel where explanations were made on my own native language. Right now it has got very small number of subscribers around 18k.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 08, 2019, 04:18:40 PM
I know it is not secure to use public internet Cafe Computers for accessing the wallets and for transaction needs. At times I don't have any other option than just using it. I would like to know, is there any software available to record the input data entered while accessing the wallet. Recently one of my friend informed about such a way to know the private keys. Is there anyone here have any such experience.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB good to invest at price of 0.0019 BTC ? on: October 08, 2019, 12:34:57 AM
BNB is one among the coin that grew little by little and reached the top entries. From the early days to its current position it doesn't look like manipulated growth. It is grown through some tricks as it is the native token of the leading exchange preferred by each and every cryptocurrency user. This year through the IEO launch this got more circulation into the market as every IEO is launched pairing with BNB. As it is exchange backed with trust we can invest, some day it'll reach bigger price than the price at which we bought.
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market after Q3 and at the start of Q4 on: October 07, 2019, 11:58:07 PM
Q4 has begun and this might be the opportunity to buy bitcoin at a lower price. There is more positive hope for the year 2020, probably this time also we can expect the trend to be similar as the previous bull run. We need to be prepared to benefit at the right time. Last time when there was growth taking place, it was mentioned as bubble. Fearing this there prevailed some panic, further the growth once again got ignited in large scale as a wave. Let's hope something bigger this time.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto SPORTS Bookies 🏈 on: October 07, 2019, 11:33:16 PM
All time favourite for sports betting is directbet, and coming through the gambling websites that are providing service at present I prefer Sportsbet, Nitrogensports, cloudbet and each were used for different games as well as on requirement of different playing modes. Different websites have varied features that makes betting more easier and faster, and few have live betting while majority doesn't. Likewise many things were taken into consideration while choosing.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's bitcoin worst case scenario if Libra will be successful? on: October 07, 2019, 10:53:58 PM
I heard people saying it won't affect bitcoin at all, and others say it might destroy it

I wonder what's your opinion about it?

What can be the worst case when it comes to Libra and Bitcoin?
Libra is included in Altcoins. So, I don't think Libra will influence Bitcoin too much. We know that Libra will come with a good utility. But again, that is not a threat to Bitcoin.
Yes, already it is an altcoin. This will make influence around as a everywhere usable asset as Facebook has got its network being established all over the world. Apart from this it is a Stablecoin, and this too isn't a threat to the bitcoin. Most of the users who prefer bitcoin were to experience good earning out of its volatility.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The promise of Virtual currencies on: October 07, 2019, 06:42:55 PM
Virtual currency usage have been making a big change in the transaction that is taking place around the globe. From its day of very first usage to now the progress is very big. Though this hasn't got legal support in lot of countries, it has been growing big because of the technology that backs the virtual currency network.

Now too this has been used as money, but this is limited. This needs to go mainstream, for the same to happen we need to wait with patience for years. This will continue to be the change of the traditional system as a new money as people have been moving towards digital ecosystem.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 71.2%, alts lagging behind on: October 04, 2019, 12:48:38 PM
The dominance level of bitcoin have fallen a little while ethereum have gained little more dominance in the market. Maybe this pattern of dominance in the market will continue with ethereum dominance increasing little by little while bitcoin drops creating some level of equivalence before the halving for the year 2020 takes place.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 04, 2019, 08:23:56 AM
South Africa won the first session without a doubt. Elgar and Faf both looking strong against spin, it was interesting to watch Faf's sweep shots against the Ashwin-Jadeja, it tells you how confident he is against the spin on another hand Elgar adjusted to the conditions beautifully but he needs to avoid aerial shots if he wants big 100, he was lucky few times.

For India its waiting game, Pitch still good to bat on, with an uneven bounce here and there, it can bring them wickets, and they need to capitalize those moments.

Yes.. so far it was good for South Africa. They made a remarkable recovery, after the horrific top order collapse they had yesterday. And this is the advantage you have, when you include world class players such as du Plessis and de Kock. Ashwin, who looked like a destroyer yesterday was looking very ordinary today. Still, South Africa needs another 67 runs to avoid follow on. They should be able to avoid it, as de Kock/Elgar is batting really well and Senuran Muthusamy is yet to come. And if they force India to bat for the second time, then the chances of a draw increases (with some help from the rain gods).
Elgar and De Cock takes the match with a perfect phase. After Du Plessis De Cock gives the perfect support to Elgar. This is how test cricket needs to be, because if the wickets have fallen continuous the match would have lost its essence. Now the current situation makes the cricket people watch it without coming to a conclusion about the match. De Cock has scored 38, soon we can see the half century from him.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: October 04, 2019, 06:07:39 AM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

The portfolio weighs good, because it consists of most leading altcoins. Every portfolio will be having certain percentage of bitcoin, here that is missing. In another way it also looks to be a right decision considering the price of bitcoin at the moment. If the thread statement is true you're risking big. I suggest to sell every investment if there is 10-25% growth. Further buy back the home and with the profit made invest for the future.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Is The Right Time To Trade Your Tokens on: October 04, 2019, 05:18:23 AM
That dialogue was okay tho. They were discussing about where is the best time to stop when both trading Bitcoin and Altcoin. This might work sometimes, but just remember this is cryptocurrency world and anything could happen unexpectedly.

And buy altcoins when the tokens are cheap.
But, the criteria of how cheap the altcoins are questionable and it's more of preference for the traders itself.
Buying the tokens when the price drops low is a good choice for trading, but the tokens we plan to purchase needs to be analyzed better. These days most of the tokens weren't growing high, good is to buy top listed altcoins which were low priced. At this moment my choice is to buy ethereum, BNB. Both will be growing good over the falling years.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: October 04, 2019, 04:34:53 AM
Less than three months for the year to end, now the price is close to $8200. If there happens a growth same as 2017 end we can expect the price to touch $15000 and not more than that. With the starting price for the year, what we've reached by now is big. This way we can term it an year we've reached the moon. 2020 is under hard expectations, and let's wait and watch the reality by 2020.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 02:55:34 AM
Don't go with such plans of loan. I'm a real time sufferer of the same. I started my business by getting loans, by that time I had around 0.75 btc. I could've sold that and started the business. When I started my business the price of bitcoin was above $16000. If I've sold at that price it was more than enough to set my business perfectly, but I believed it'll grow and kept hold buying loans to start the business.

To my expectation the price grew and all of the sudden started to fall. Now I'm paying monthly $200 interest for the loan and the capital I bought hasn't decreased yet. It is getting close to two years since I've started to pay interest.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: October 04, 2019, 02:21:54 AM
I am a beginner gambler. when I win in gambling I will buy valuable items such as gold or I invest in companies that need funds.
but not all the gambling money I bought gold or I invested, but half of it I used for gambling capital again.
so that I am not in vain playing gambling when I get older will have a lot of gold savings.

If you want to secure your future then why just invest all the money you use in gambling into the things you've mentioned. Gambling is a game of luck so it's like you depend your future on it, you'll just invest for your future if you win on gambling. If you still want to gamble for enjoyment there are some sites that offers a free amount to play.
The attitude we’ve got in gambling is the “One time Big time” in which even the food for the table sometimes we gamble to make it bigger but in the end losing is the price

And the idea of small capital that can be a hundred or thousand time larger is what gambling becomes more attractive
Gambling is more attractive through the multiplication of the funds based on the luck and the strategies applied. Each and every gambler might have experienced higher number of losses than wins. In this case money management plays a very important role. One who has perfectly managed the less number of wins with perfect plan eliminate the loss, as well as makes money out of gambling.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Cryptocurrency? on: October 04, 2019, 01:16:41 AM
I read that bitcoin wasn't the first cryptocurrency in this business. There were other alternative coins that were created and established to serve a particular purpose. However, they all failed and are not in existence anymore. So for now, I can say bitcoin has been the first to stand and survive for quite a long time now.
absolutely right, because bitcoin is a decentralized currency and is the mother of every crypto. and everyone believes in bitcoin and becomes a decentralized payment tool that makes it easy for every businessman to make transactions. for me bitcoin is the first currency that has survived until now

We can't say that it is the mother, maybe Blockchain technology is the mother since it is the reason why there are a lot of crypto currencies nowadays. Bitcoin is the most popular since it is the crypto itself, without its technology, it will be included in many other failed digital currencies made in the past. Another thing is that it did not survive, it dominated the market.
Majority of the users have a thinking that bitcoin is the base or the first cryptocurrency to get used. From the very first quote of the thread it is clear that there are many attempts on this, while bitcoin is the one that was developed perfectly and got used much more than the other forms of cryptocurrencies. Also bitcoin came out of the blockchain technology, if not this too could've got faded as other forms of cryptocurrencies that were used prior to bitcoin.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: October 04, 2019, 12:22:48 AM
It's funny that many people think that gambling money is dirty but everyone is happy to receive money without asking where it came from. Lottery prizes are basically gambling money that everyone is happy to accept. Selecting a set of numbers and buying a ticket in the hope of winning, is the equivalent of wagering on the Roulette wheel.

People think so primarily because in order for one person to win at roulette, another person has to lose their money. Also, a lot of people suffering from ludomania, and lose the last money in the casino and the administration can not prevent them.
Also, casinos used to be controlled by criminal gangs who laundered their criminal money there. Probably the concept of "dirty money" went from that time.
When we talk about the dirty money, here we discussed about the laundered money out of criminal activities. When we take into calculation on this, it'll be very less compared to the corruption money which is truly the dirty money. Because it is people's money getting accumulated with a single person. So, if we think about dirty money and play, it is quite hard to spend on gambling, because every money in one way or other has little dirt.
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys ok if BTC ends in the 10k USD range at the end of 2019? on: October 03, 2019, 11:46:01 PM
The market of bitcoin is better than the starting months of the year. During the month of February and March speculations were completely negative stating that the price could fall off. Now the scenario is different, there is continued progress. Now for a short the price has fallen low to $10000. Even by the fall the market is resisting on the $8000 range making the price to stay strong and continue to move forward. Even if it ends by $10000 it is good considering the price of $3000.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 03, 2019, 11:23:56 PM
When there is growth this will be kept under surveillance, and the whales always try to find way to earn out of it in a simple way. This is the major reason for the market. We're into the early days of adoption on the real time businesses, maybe within few years of time this gets to be an alternate mainstream source.
Cryptocurrency has got lot to be done. In simple more things which are hidden behind the asset needs to be explored. This will boost you up to learn more about it. When you find more unique things automatically you'll be much interested towards using cryptocurrencies further.
