8201  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: May 31, 2014, 06:36:31 AM
TO bitcoin information is time you let others know that uptown are not responsible are or organized with there sig campaign they dont come online everyday plus I didn't get paid for two weeks and I am on the list of uptown sigs
I know that there have been some problems, but not enough, yet, to change their position. I will keep an eye on it, of course.

Getting curious myself with the Ritz campaign retiring so maybe an asterisk in regards to possible issues with this present campaign might be helpful
Seems enough members in the particpating signature campaign are complaining about issues with them

8205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Twenty amazing secrets about bitcoin on: May 30, 2014, 09:45:58 AM

You can set a date to use bitcoin –the bitcoin must be used until their 18-year-old birthday or Christmas .

Recently ,the calculating ability to protect bitcoin network is 6000 times stronger than the group of mega computers from Fortune Global 500.

There was something I did know about Bitcoin in that wall nice
For example I did not know that the delay could be that long above my level on how the coding for that works and how to set the custom scripting still this is a neat collection of tidbits.
That and the ratio is now up to 6000 Times the top 500 super computers my goodness that is some sweet processing power.
Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on setting up your first miner it won't make to many Bitcoins but it is nice as a hobby tool to learn about Bitcoin
If you want to take a gander at how much you are likely to generate and factor in costs feel free to use a calculator like this one

I'm glad to hear that Butterfly Labs is getting the Subpeona it truly deserves and that someone was able to win a legal case to keep them accountable for their failure to deliver units on time, and for all the tricks and deceptions they have done.
Get them.

Imagine going to bed and waking up behind bars hello Internet Boot Camp away from your Electric Heroin
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-news/10591750/Chinas-internet-rehabs-highlighted-by-Web-Junkie-documentary.html

I was wondering if taking three months off the internet would drive people to madness.
Hearing that China has labeled heavy internet usage or internet addiction as a mental condition and clinical disorder and as a result a big threat to society.
I was surprised to hear of an internet boot camp and the extreme therapy methods there are over 400 of these camps exist.
Video included so should the Kids be the one who are blamed or the parents and if it were you how would you react to the lack of access to gadgets or technological devices.
Are they being victimized by the society you decide.

8212  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real reason? on: May 30, 2014, 08:16:11 AM
Big names have been adopting Bitcoin transactions due to coinbase such as Overstock and recently Dish Network
Giving Bitcoin to students at MIT definitely helps as well + Budweiser

I thought it was just a badly done joke to get people to be amazed
Or a good old Dogecoin meme
(Hmm Friedcat) Not Dog
Much Cat! ?

_
Great the weird part of my mind now imagines Friedcat as the Cat who doesn't pay much attention to us but is adorable and the Dog making a lot of noise and asking for attention in comparison.

8216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: May 30, 2014, 07:27:45 AM
Are you currently putting all your money into bitcoin?  If you say this, you show you believe it by your actions.  I am putting all my money into bitcoin - I see a possibility of $50-$100+ per coin this year.  Just think, once the "bankers" and hedge funds find out about this, we are going to the moon.  Once my bitcoins are $1,000+ I will be able to pay off my growing college loans and maybe get an apartment, and my first car Smiley

Putting your money where your mouth is means you are commendable
Since most of us here are more or less long term users of Bitcoin and think a google ceo mentioned 90% are holders 10% speculate we will remain the new wealthy elite.
Interesting, I've never heard that statistic before. Can anyone confirm this ?

I do agree though that the smart money is on holding, though. I'm all in and been holding for over a year and counting. No regrets so far.

I can partially confirm this for you its from a Forbes article so I consider it confirmable
I think it was a Google ceo quoting the guy since I recall reading that in an article a while back.
I can't remember where the original article is though but I believe it was based on this and the topic if I recall was about speculation services.

8217  Other / Off-topic / Re: Vintage computer gems on: May 30, 2014, 07:12:56 AM
I always enjoyed playing the fairies since I always had the indian druid guy and the Sprites which were attractive enough plus the Elves and their double attack.
FIRST UNIT I TOOK OUT unless they had a phoenix (Then Armageddon to All of them including my own troops lol)
Late game use a skilled hero with high magic skills and send it off to suicide attack with Armageddon + a cursed item if I had one.
Recall Armageddon worked on Phoenixs but not on Dragons
Since the quests changed your Castle depending on what scenario you were playing.
That reminded me of how random the cannon fire when attacking castles were.
The Paladins Clanging sound was cool weakest ultimate hero for its HP but fast if I was lucky I mean real lucky my favorite troop was GHOST followed by Genies the best counter to Ghosts.

Go sexy sprites Smiley

So who remembers this one there was also that tower game as well with wizards can't recall its name atm.

How the hell does one unsubscribe from a thread?

You click the unwatch button on the side then you are unsubscribed
How was that related to the previous question?
8219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Savings/CDs on: May 30, 2014, 06:45:40 AM
It's not paranoia, you've got some research to do on hyperinflation Wink

Well hopefully before that appears the smarter people will have moved the money out to a safe location.
Depends on the banking system used though
8220  Other / Archival / Re: remove on: May 30, 2014, 06:34:25 AM

this thread is going very slow, no one wants to win?

Think its just one of those threads where you run out of things to think up Tongue

Lets see

Bitcoin was made by a single person (Since we can't assume Satoshi's gender or how many people or if Satoshi = 1)
