8201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO becoming main in decentralization on: April 02, 2021, 03:16:43 PM
I thought that there's something about decentralization that you're going to say. Well, he can make the system centralized if it's related to his business.
We as crypto people can choose whatever we want, if we're going to use his exchange or not, the cex or the dex that they have which isn't really a dex.
8202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 02, 2021, 11:39:17 AM
Count on Vic Manuel to attempt more three-pointers at Phoenix

If this will be successful, it's going ot be a more improve Vic Manuel.

I believe they are trying to make him like Justin Chua, a big man who can shoot 3s but haven't really seen Manuel making a lot of 3 points shots in his old team.
I think that it's going to be a good style if they'll improve Manuel's 3 point shooting. It's not enough if big guys are only under the ring but also if they can do outside shooting.

Probably the training for the Phoenix is for everyone, no exemption, every big man has to learn how to shoot 3s consistently so they are more dangerous, wat I admire most on the team is their defense, they have improve it already and I hope there will be more improvement in the season to come, if it will not be postponed due to the lockdown in some areas.
Let's all be positive that it will still going to continue despite the lockdown, seems that they have no choice to get into a bubble again. The cases are a lot reported today.
8203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie finding his way around crypto investment on: April 02, 2021, 11:00:03 AM
I keep feeling hesitated and crypto keeps growing, enough is enough, I'm new to this space and I'm looking into investing in altcoins, I have 1200$ in USDT right now and I can only take risk with 200$, I'm looking into vechain and harmony, looking forward to hear from people on here, are these two altcoins worth the risk? Can vechain hit 1$ in weeks??
$200 seems a good start for you to take the risk with those altcoins. Looks like you're only on that amount for a short term and check their charts but I doubt that Vechain will be $1 in weeks' time. The price is $0.09 and it will take time before seeing it go $1.
If you think that it's not yet late on Ethereum then buy it, it's going to show the next few days how volatile it is.
8204  Economy / Speculation / Re: JPMorgan sets Bitcoin Target to $130K Predicting Strong Institutional adop. on: April 02, 2021, 09:53:29 AM
It has been discussed long ago that it's easier to buy and own bitcoin than to buy and own gold. They're just realizing it later when the price has skyrocketed and IIRC, JP Morgan, and its owner was once shown that they don't like bitcoin but that's the agenda for which they've been accumulating already before the others did. $130k is just their prediction but it could go higher than that.
8205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: April 02, 2021, 09:10:44 AM
I guess it's a bad decision that jobless people make trading because this is risky of course right now if they don't have any jobs and possibly a source of money. If they are capable and knowledgeable why not? But the money matters. Some people have different responsibilities and only those extra money has the full capacity to overcome this trade. Trading depends on your capabilities even you have job or jobless.
Yes, it is not advisable for those jobless people to go trading just because they're jobless. But if there are traders that have a job and they think that they can manage themselves to go full trading, there's no problem with that and they understand what it should take them as they go full time in trading. I've heard stories that they don't really have to start with yet started with the little that they have until they've grown it and go to where they are right now.
8206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: April 02, 2021, 08:18:50 AM
I dont think ethereum can reach at that price. $100k is impossible in this cycle, maybe next cycle when bitcoin aim to reach $1million per BTC. My self prediction for ethereum is at $4k top for this cycle. Look at potentially marketcap and coin in circullation.
$100k is too high although Ethereum just reached $2k today, it has to break a lot of walls before going to $100k. That's one measure if we're going to talk about the possibility.
And also after the ETH 2.0, that's probably when Ethereum will break 6 digits and reach $10k first and so on and so forth. But what if after 2.0, that's the start of the bear market? we all don't know.
8207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: April 02, 2021, 07:53:04 AM
Ripple may not be preferred by the gambling sotes because I guess if a gambling site wants to add ripple then they need to get further licences and it applies to every centralized coins ( correct me if I am wrong).
They don't have to. There were casinos that have Ripple on their list, there's no list for such license, they only need to add just as how they've added the other coins on their supported/payment option.
8208  Economy / Speculation / Re: March has always been best month for BTC with 30% gains the last years on: April 02, 2021, 06:09:25 AM
You should have bought it a few months ago when it has dropped to $30k when everyone had thought that it will continue to plunge to $10k-20k but it didn't.
March has passed and that changed the perspective of everyone because many are still looking at the past years month of March.
Meron nga at yun yung EIP 1559.
8210  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Online Sabong Bayad Crypto? on: April 02, 2021, 04:08:13 AM

8211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: April 01, 2021, 11:05:21 PM
LTC, DOGE, and TRX are the best options besides BTC or ETH...
transaction fees are really like 'raping' us especially ETH, that's really crazy. adopting other altcoins that are much more fee-friendly will be great for players and online casino owners so that neither party is harmed.
Withdrawing with BTC and ETH is like what many are avoiding these times. The prices are high and better to keep it rather than paying for the fees.
Those altcoins that you have mentioned are the total alternative coins that are really making their names as what they're described for being altcoins, just as in times like this when btc and eth transactions are expensive to pay.
8212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market cap COIN GEMS 2021 - share your best pick! on: April 01, 2021, 10:27:36 PM
I keep my eyes on these following potential gems that is somehow growing over the past few days these are AKOIN, COVIR and Student coin. Akoin is at the moment a bit low Marketcap same as the COVIR. However I seen a big potential for STUDENT COIN especially after reaching its hardcap in its on going ICO.
Akoin got some 3x after it was launched a few months ago. This isn't getting the news and the owner of this coin is obviously known who he is and will use his popularity to promote his coin.
But lately, I haven't heard a lot from this coin. Good luck though in investing on this coin but it's not that worth to invest on this coin IMHO.
8213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the institutional coin on: April 01, 2021, 10:02:15 PM
I see bitcoin becoming an institutional coin in the nearest future. institutions are beginning to buy bitcoins in billions of dollars.
It isn't just for institutions. It's for everybody and because everyone is free to purchase it, the institutions are joining us.

this will automatically reduce the amount of bitcoin in circulation thereby forcing up bitcoin price.
Limited supply, halving makes it scarce and that's what really is going to happen in the near future so save up for yourself while they're keeping it for themselves and their business.
8214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 01, 2021, 09:22:01 PM
That top prize is so much and good luck to everyone who will participate.

Seem like the website down.
I've checked the site and it's working on my end. Maybe it was down a few hours and then was fixed immediately by the team.
8215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 01, 2021, 08:05:13 PM
It's unfortunate that they are expecting a target of Php 640M last year but a pandemic happened:
https://www.philstar.com/sports/2020/02/01/1989554/pba-projects-income-p640-million

Huge target and I think that will be unrealistic if the set up is a bubble again.
Their sponsors were also badly hit by the pandemic and also catching up with the same situation. Too bad but it's understandable that everybody is dealing with the hardship made by the pandemic. But soon this shall pass and everything is going to come back normal again.
I'm sure that when things go back to normal, they will definitely watch a live match if it's already allowed.

It will take time, knowing how bad the economy has been hit by this pandemic. The leauge unable to collect their target and yes, if this same setup (bubble type) it's unrealistic to cover that amount.

But there's no other option if they  push this season, they'll be forced to use the same as last season. Better
than nothing though, we are all hoping for the best and for the season to start whatever setup the boards will use.
They also have the option to move the opening but that's probably not going to happen. They can always change their decision and put the best that they can.
If it's not possible, then they only have to tell and everyone will understand it. But I think, things have been set and we just have to wait what shall be the setup.
8216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tron ranked at #1744 on coinmarketcap... What happened? on: April 01, 2021, 10:53:17 AM
Probably a bug, I've just checked it and it's ranked #20 and even clicked on it and still, it shows #20. Not a big deal though and CMC usually has some issues with the ranking of some altcoins.

Anything unusual happening today could be a joke, so don't take it as too seriously wait for April 2.
Yeah, maybe because of April fools but it has been backed to #20 again.

Minimum ata P100.
8219  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 01, 2021, 09:15:15 AM

No choice din wla akong ID ngayon, kaya d pwd i-exchange ung ETH sa other currency for lower fees.

Smiley
8220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you want become Rich from HODL? HODL ETH! Read here for the reason!! on: March 31, 2021, 09:08:10 PM
If large companies are buying ETH, then they probably know something. Of course, an active purchase of ETH does not mean that its price can rise very high, since everything can end with simple manipulation in the market, but it can also be a signal that the price of ETH will continue to rise and may show another upward spurt by the end of 2021. I like ETH and I always hold a certain portion of ETH, as I believe that this crypto asset has not yet reached its full potential.
It's a signal that if the large companies are buying then everyone should be doing it. Just as today, you see ETH $1930 and likely to break $2k resistance.
But you're right that they won't hold forever and huge purchases will still be available on sale if they're on the profit. It's like playing around and making more money that's why the rich always wins.
