8201  Economy / Lending / Re: [W] Need a loan, have collateral on: February 28, 2018, 11:39:21 AM
I can do this for you. Escrow burden of the collateral is on you to decide, I have no problem with having escrow with aTriz or Lauda.

Let me know.
8202  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Requirement for Member Proposal on: February 28, 2018, 11:36:14 AM
Is there really a fool proof to out smarting people and systems?  If they farm to member level,  will they farm again to Full member? Trying to create a fool proof system is itself a cause for confusion. This merit system as it is,  is good enough. And it is working effectively. The effectiveness is the reason why you can notice these abuses. I am sure the moderators are watching.

If they farm to member and so on, they will gradually run out of the sMerits. All such farmed accounts at one time will run out of the sMerits thus there will be a time in future when this forum will have some Merit sources as the only people who would be able to give merits to others.

Thats pretty effective in my opinion.

Well, some of the merits you've received seem totally random and by those standards I should have gotten a few more merits for my posts, but sure, if you think so...
Some people may consider one post as constructive while others may not. Its their personal opinion obviously. Obvious random merit - if you feel its questionable then you can report them here. Be sure to explain why you believe that it is abuse of the merit system.

8203  Other / Meta / Re: Spamming scams now in every thread possible - great new tactic :( on: February 28, 2018, 11:30:20 AM
That guy is copy-pasting the same thread text into every post. The only way to combat this is to report the posts with the "nuke" as a comment for the moderators. They are already busy with the shitposting cleanup of this forum and hence they need some time to check everything before nuking the said account.

When you see such activity in future no need to make a thread about it. Simply report a single post as I said. Thats also what I do whenever I see such filth.
8204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: February 28, 2018, 11:25:42 AM
Although some casinos are following the rules and regulation that have been mentioned by the government, but still a lot of casinos are there who never follow the rules and you can see a lot of children who are underage but visit casinos constantly and play gambling there, they are really violating the rules and regulation, i government shout take serious step against such casinos.

LOL accepting children in gambling? Seriously I dont buy it dude. Thats too unrealistic if not totally false. There are strict rules in physical casinos. Again in online casinos everybody can sign up - but that also true in porn sites because teens lie about their age there as well.

Now considering the fact the governments in many countries are bullshit and not willing to regulate anything lets keep regulation out of the picture. The cops are more willing to let the casinos be as they are and accepting bribes everywhere on a monthly basis or so.
8205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: February 28, 2018, 11:20:04 AM
Some of the good effects are useless why would you gamble to make friends but yeah as you mentioned there are good effects and those effects is when someone get's addicted to gambling I only see gambling having negative effects I would never gamble again

People do end up making many friends in casinos. After all casinos are public places and often like minds meet there and they do like each other's company. Though in any physical casino its better to keep to yourself because you never know who is having what idea in mind. There many be robbers and scammers hiding behind nice looking faces that includes the women too. Grin

Even if they get addicted to gambling some people never stop gambling. Its just their addiction.
8206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitconnect Ponzi scheme... on: February 28, 2018, 11:08:40 AM
I'm so happy that I stoped a friend to invest 10k in Bitconnect. I don't understand how some guys didn't realized it is a scheme  Angry There were several investigations circulating on youtube

Rather there are many scammers on youtube promoting them via their referral links. If you go to any shitcoin pumper on youtube you will see their referral links everywhere and many of the were associated with bitconnect. Their job is to get people into the coin and  then act like a scapegoat in front of the followers when questioned about their loss once the site shuts down. Pretty nice way to act innocent and clear your name. After all the amount of brainwashing these scumbags do on youtube twitter and reddit is enough to keep the trust of their followers steel strong.

I dont understand why people have to be so lazy and not do any research before investing.
8207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining , Is it worth it? on: February 27, 2018, 01:10:49 PM
Bitcoin mining is extremely time and money consuming, if I were you, I'd rather invest into building or purchasing an Altcoin mining rig. Some examples are Ethereum or Equihash related coins, which currently are the most profitable for GPU mining.

See for altcoin mining there are the different protocols that support a specific coins or a group of coins. Mining them might be worth it if you think they are going to boom in future. You can always buy a GPU and mine ethereum with it or ethereum classic because both run the ethhash protocol. However keep in mind the power costs, pool costs and cooling costs.

For bitcoin mining though its almost impossible to get a good ROI in the current scenario. We dont have huge amount of land to make mining farm nor do we have enough rigs to get a decent ROI in a limited amount of time.
8208  Other / Meta / Re: Is the Merit System Generating Enough Merits? on: February 27, 2018, 01:05:26 PM
Anyway, dont be too Focus about merits  and  rankings. Be thankful if anybody Will give merits to your post.
Means every two minutes of your online time you are going to visit your profile page on bitcointalk to check how many new merit points you have got? Roll Eyes

Quote
If no one did it, Its okay, make  a better post next time.
And if you dont get merited on the second post?
Quote
IM not good in English as what they always say that you must be perfect in English to get some merits. But most of those have merited are using Links for average people like me to understand of what they are saying in their  quotes  for  no more further details.
Let me be clear here because I dont want to sound like a troll.

I can understand the situation the newbies and junior members are into because of the merit system. But that does not mean you will stop contributing to the forum.

The forum is for people to ask questions and learn about the crypto world. It is not supposed to be a rank-up warzone to get into high paying signature campaigns. So keep it to that.

If you have something to contribute then do so. Otherwise dont come to this forum.
8209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2018, 12:54:43 PM
I only use free money to make invest in Bitcoin and others digital asset, because cryptocurrency market so high fluctuacion and also there are other risk like hacking and theft in exchange or personal wallet. So make invest in all crypto with money willing to lose will be much better for psikilogis.

If you secure your wallet properly then the chances of theft are minimized. Not completely gone but minimized. Again if you are careful with what stuff you use on computer and the devices and how you maintain your computer security then you should be good. I would suggest a hardware wallet to use in case you feel that your computer may not be secure enough.

Fluctuations can be handled easily if you dont panic sell and hold during that period. Don even visit the reddit or twitter pages because those are filled with shills. Stay away from the exchange during days of red and stockup on other coins.
8210  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: February 27, 2018, 12:50:21 PM
It's possible that bitcoin will hit that price but nobody knows when that happen but if there is so much deman in bitcoin probably the price will be higher.

At this stage its pure speculation and it will remain speculation later on as well. People dont want their coins to lose their value so they are pumping it every where they can and hence this thread. Let it touch 50k USD who cares? We simply make money with it.

Based on the news, bitcoin might hit $50000 by the end of 2018. Is this possible? If so, what are the reasons?
I think this is unlikely, you will find it easy to reach $ 20,000 in 2017 but down 50% -60% in the first two months of 2018. To achieve that number of dreams is difficult. Towards Bitcoin, I do not think I should, but so much hope for it. We should learn about Altcoin as it has more potential for future growth than Bitcoin.

The price spike in 2017 later months may be considered as "unhealthy" in my opinon because there was a lot of positive FUD going on and we were not actually aware of what was going to happen. However market is stable now and such chances are low that 50k usd is going to be touched.

Again altcoins will never beat bitcoin. Take that for granted.
8211  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system is like a job promotion on: February 26, 2018, 05:50:16 PM
I read the OP title and I was like - Yeah and the Job is the signature campaigns - right?

Because thats what 99% of the people in this forum are obsessed about. Getting paid from signature campaigns and not giving a shit about the discussions on the forum.

No its not a "Promotion" - I feel sick to even think of it like that. Only idiots like the OP can do so along with the shitposter mobgang. Merit is awarded to posts which are of quality and add to the discussions. Probably this is the nth time I have to repeat this in another "Merit in the title" thread and I am sure this is not going to be the last one.
8212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ebay and Litecoin coming together ? on: February 26, 2018, 01:25:47 PM
I think litepay will have a parter of this scale in the coming year no doubtZ I'm very bullish on litecoin for this year. They have too make giant company partnerships in the pipeline for it not to succeed

What is the source of this? Is the source credible enough? If not then this is simply another targeted FUD on this thread trying to pump litecoin. I ahve heard of litepay and I would say as long as bitcoin remains the biggest source of buying litecoin, litecoin will remain a second to bitcoin.

Now I know a bunch of shitposters (read brain-dead shills  Roll Eyes) will disagree and cuss me for saying this but its the truth which will obviously hurt and make you want to slit my throat but believe me its the truth and the last words.

@OP I would like to see the source of this news that eBay x Litecoin happy ending is happening  Grin LOL - Pics or it didnt happen  Grin Grin
8213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2018, 01:13:22 PM
Invest what you don't care to lose. If you invest more than you can afford to lose, it's not good for your own well-being when the market's on a bear run.
I agree with your first point. However one who is willing to invest in something like crypto should know the risks associated with the market. Now if you go the news and read them - there will be so much FUD around crypto that you will start lose your mind and would never invest in it.

Its better to do some research on crypto before investing. Even people can take advantage of the bull-run if they know what they are doing and thus end up making some money. I would suggest people to stock up on good coins when market is low even if it means putting in more money - because they will rise in future. However that does not mean that every coin out there is worth investing - do your analysis and research.
8214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways casinos cheat on: February 26, 2018, 01:09:35 PM
I think a lot of people are aware of this but most of them decided to keep on playing. Even in real casinos there’s still cheat and the only real winner are those casinos. Gambling is risky but its quiet more risk if you do it online cause its the syatem that works for it.

That is not a scam per se. Actually every gamble is a risk and people are aware of the risk before they set their bet. That is again unbiased by the provably fair system. Any player who loses money by betting cannot call the casino a scam because they risked their money and thus they are responsible for their loss and not the casino. Moreover you cannot sue the casino because they have ToS which is blindly accepted by the player before playing any game that will always save them from litigation.
8215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: February 26, 2018, 01:06:17 PM
I think the current price is stable, the market is recovering, and the price of bitcoin is growing steadily.

More and more people are joining the bitcoin investment, which is the biggest recognition of bitcoin.

Joining bitcoin investment is a wrong way to put it. Rather more people are investing in bitcoin and crypto for future returns. Bitcoin is not a bandwagon on which people can jump and earn money right away. The way of earning money by investing into bitcoin is by trading it and selling it from time to time when pumps happen above the buying price. The way you speak is making bitcoin look like a sell-out and a outright ponzi-like scheme.

I think this correction (falling) will last till middle of april. It is just whales manipulations. And even now we still can see 5K. But then, in the second half of the year, we'll have a crazy rally upstairs. But sell bitcoin now isn't smart decision. Because now we have great opportunity to buy cheap bitcoins.

Too long. March would probably see the whales move here to initiate a bull run though not at the same level as december 2017. It's right now quite steady between 10-9k at a given time with a few corrections.

This stability did break a bit during the last weekend. I am hoping more trading chances will happen this week.
8216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2018, 08:39:49 AM
There were no money that is fixed for you to invest in bitcoin or in other cryptocurrencies. Even a single 100 usd can make a difference but remember that it is always dependant on your strategy.

100USD in this market is not a very big amount considering the current market price of bitcoin. However for the altcoins it might be worth it. If you ask about bitcoin then I would suggest a minimum if 1000$ into bitcoin at 80-85k $ mark and sell at anything above 12k $ mark.

How much capital to invest in bitcoin, it depends on many people. Most of us hold different amounts of money. You rich you invest in many Bitcoin, I'm poor I invest in less bitcoin. But in my opinion, we should take extra funds to invest in bitcoins and not care about their current prices. Hold the bitcoin for long periods of time. I think we will succeed.

If you are poor why are you even investing in bitcoin? Crypto is a risky place to invest in and thus you should focus on earning money rather than investing.  Extra funds you have should be stored for future use and not just invest. Rather extra funds should be kept for any emergency.

Again holding bitcoin for long has no good effect. Its better to sell at high and then buy more at the dip.
8217  Other / Meta / Re: Alternative for merit system on: February 25, 2018, 08:29:54 AM
hi,

we have so many problems about merit topic, also in Turkish part there is no merit resource. people started to keep them. i thought another system against this merit system and wanted to get your ideas about it, if it is possible or not.
There is exactly "zero" problem with the merit system. The problem is rooted to the users who shitpost to get paid. Only those people are the ones complaining about not getting merit.

People can apply as merit sources too. I am sure some people in your community might be willing to become a merit source. Theymos has made it public how to apply as merit source - maybe you did not read it yet.

Quote
there will be no merit system, but there may be a like button, at least for people who shares something, may understand if its usefull for others or not. but the main idea is after we get enough activity (in continuing activity system) for a new rank, we may ask votes from people at the same ranks with us and highers.
If you dont like the system, then please leave the forum. Or better make your own forum - what I have suggest several time to many shitposters. The problem is they never listen to this idea.
Quote
i think the biggest problem of the merit system is, higher ranks know much more than us so its so hard to find something thats usefull enough to get merit from them and lower ranks have no merit.
So I guess its clear to you that you need to up-your-game? You need to learn how to make constructive posts and not shitpost in order to get merit.

One of the reasons merit system was made for was to stop the non-sense idiot garbage vomitposts done by people in this forum. This is simply an indirect proof that its working as it was supposed to work.
8218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What else after this massive dip ? on: February 25, 2018, 08:22:28 AM
This massive dips is just a healthy correction, Buy now before it's too late. 2018 is indeed a lucky year to all the people in crypto space. If Lightning network release bull run will happen very soon.

Actually the "dip" has ended long back now. Bitcoin is now trading at around 9900USD and rallying between 8k and 10k USD. I dont understand why you believe 2018 to be a luck year while the Q4 of 2017 was actually the lucky (if you say so) part of the year.

Lightning Network is the next step after segwit if I am correct. It will reduce fees even more and thus the number of unconfirmed transactions will reduce. Lets see how that influences the market.
8219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: February 25, 2018, 08:16:40 AM
The price is a bit more stable because there are less rumours at the moment. As soon as speculation rises we will see big movements again in price.

Yes price is more stable now as you have rightly mentioned that due to lack of rumors which are randomly posted which leads to fluctuations.

I would advice you all to stop reading the reddit channels on bitcoin and crypto. They are full of shills and idiots who are into their own gains trying to pump every other shitcoin. Rumors are spread from there to all other social media platforms. They tend to bend the minds of the new people who are getting into crypto and drag their money to the wrong place.

I think at this time with the cheap price, if you want to get a nice profit, you can invest now in bitcoin, because the future price will be higher than the current price. So you will get many benefits.

What benefits are you going to get? I see this point being reiterated several times by shitposters. There is no benefit of buying btc - other than raising the price and trading profits when you sell.
8220  Economy / Lending / Re: how genuine is ICO Lending why have companies faltered and closed shop on: February 24, 2018, 09:34:39 AM
Few days back their was craze for companies offering 42 to 28 %  through lending platform.  but with the fall of big guns like BIT Connect, Davor Coin, BTE, BCC cash ,NEO Connect ,Ethconnect  etc investors are wary about ICOs offering lending program . want to have an idea why lending ICOs have  failed , were they scams or they failed on account of regulations

These were all scams or disguised ponzi/HYIP/MLM schemes. Everyone who invested early and got out early made some profits. There have been many youtubers who promoted them simply to drag newbies as their referrals into them as well. Those people are the lowest level of scum in this universe.

Anyway invest in these at your own risk. None of them are legit lending platforms.
