Just for the record, 253 is blade price matched. I have 65 GH worth I purchased for 250.

Is 253 BTC your offer then?

13ghz per blade seems a bit optimistic.  There is a reason 10gh is listed as the baseline for Blades. If everyone could easily get 13gh without risking damage, they would come preconfigured for that rate, and it would be the new baseline. Also, you aren't factoring in the amount of time you have to tinker with overclocks, voltage, setting up a host, managing multiple units, constructing some sort of housing, etc... For a lot of us here, this is no problem. For most people, it's a hassle and way above their head. There is a huge advantage in a self contained 67gh(71-73gh overclocked) unit.

In any case, I'm going to change this listing to auction format running side by side with the eBay auction. I'm assuming the ebay auction is going to end up much higher than the forum auction. eBay is loaded with non-paying buyers and scam artists so in the event the eBay buyer does not pay, I will turn to the highest forum bid. More info soon.

No its not my offer.

No its not optimistic, I have 5 running at 13. You press a fucking button and it runs at 13+, its not hard. The setup is actually much easier than on an Avalon. There is a reason 10 is listed as the baseline, because it has 2 operating modes. Some want to the option of using the slower oscillator to save power.

You're greedy, it will bite you in the ass one day.

I see, so you have no intention of paying what you think it's worth, you've just come to crap on the sale.

I think a couple of you are confusing greed with opportunity. Greed would be hoarding all of the food in my house while my family starves.  The market determines an in hand Avalon's price, not me. If a buyer wants this in hand device for less than it's worth, that makes them greedy. I took a risk investing in the device when bitcoins were worth $20 and I paid what it was worth then. It's worth much more now and I am taking the opportunity to cash out now, vs waiting to mine the coins over the next year.

Also, I've removed klrgoten's original bid at his request. Auction starting bid is still 275.

I've come to prevent you try to make money out of new buyers being taken advantage of. Just because something has a market value doesn't force me to buy it LOL.

There is no reason to have the voltages so high, 1.2 is is fine. Any more is just wasting power, creating more heat and reducing life span.

Also get a stratum proxy set up.

Really? You're selling 37 x's for a 200% premium on blades?

Without .2 is the old firmware.

How do you upgrade?

Not easily. Need specialist equipment.

Is there any way for me to work out lifetime earnings for each miner? I mean it records total shares, but if the effective pplns pps equivalent varies...
8207  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bentley GT continental (2004 ) registed sell for BITCOIN.. on: May 30, 2013, 03:55:00 PM
ship it  Smiley
I dont know the how the process working.....it will be very difficult for me to do it.

Comapnies exist purely to import/export cars. Effectively you drive it into a container, ship the container.

.....aaaaand the "x" is back.  My chips look like this:

Chip: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOxOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It came back when I switched pools and hit the restart button.  I am just gonna let it be and see if it goes away unless any of you can think of anything else.  So I'm guessing, not a big deal?  It's still hashing at the normal rate.  It's just annoying like a zit I want to pop.

I have one X as well. That means that the particular chip is not receiving sufficient voltage.!
As friedcat mentioned.. Unless you have 3 or more X, it should be a concern.. you can try resetting the board or may be increase the voltage of that power line.!

btw.. on the config page, does it have any version number in the footer..?

I was just going to post about this.  My first blade says "BE Blade Rev 0.2" but the blade with the "x" doesn't have anything (no version number) listed at the footer.  Why is that?  Do I need to upgrade the firmware somehow?

Same here.. my first blade which was brought in Auction 3 says "BE Blade Rev 0.2" but i have an "X" in this blade..
The second blade that i brought later (can say Auction 3.5) doesnot have anything on it.!

I also noticed something.. When my first blade (the one WITH BE Blade Rev 0.2) restarts, it goes on High Clock automatically..
However when the second blade restarts (the one WITHOUT BE Blade Rev 0.2), it goes into LOW clock even though it was running High clock before restart.
I have to manually switch the clock.

So there is some difference in both..!! Anyone advise / suggestions.?

Without .2 is the old firmware.

This is just stupid. Can we have a proper minimum increment. I bid 1.399 [1.4 - fee], only to get beaten by 1.400.

Sorry about that, I just like round numbers  Wink. We both lost that round anyway.

Yes, we both lost by 0.000001 btc. Thats 0.013 cents. This isn't an auction, its a minigame.

Has to be competitive with blades which equiv cost 300.

Cheesy One of those is mine. By blades have been running at 200% luck since I bought them [although 2 blocks = not very reliable data], enjoy my coins bitches.

EDIT: Is there any way I can see which of my workers actually found the block? I want to give it a sticker.

Hmm...surprisingly I -do- have it saving the worker ID of which worker found the block [thought I only kept User ID].  I'll see if I can squeeze it in somewhere (no promises).

Thanks. Also someone inboxed me some questions about merged mining and I didn't know the answers:

I tried doing research on merged mining using btcguild but didnot find much info. So i thought i will reach out to you.
I had a few questions regarding the same. Would appreciate if you could clarify them

Quote
1) If i do merged mining, will my BTC hash rate / shares decrease which inturn will decrease my BTC earnings.

2) Is it possible to carryout merged mining using stratum proxy.?

3) I understand that i need to connect to a different pool address and port. So if i do that, will i still be able to mine BTC using PPLNS.?

4) what are the other downsides (if any) of doing merged mining. I don't want to hamper / reduce the current BTC earnings.

5) Are there any additional fees associated with merged mining.

$6500 for 10GHs! (Shipped?)

Wow, I was not expecting that much of an expense... Cheaper than a GPU setup, Huh ...

10GHs = ~15x 7970's = $6000 (But still needs 3x mobo-setups... +$600, and 3500W of PSUs 5x750 +$250 -$50 {blade needs one too})
Total GPU setup = $6800... (Minus games 15x$25 = $375) = $6425 (And you can resell the cards and hardware, not so-much with the blades.)

PASS

You can push 12x 7970's to 10GHs... and save another $1400+, = $5025 for 10GHs (Only 2 mobo's and one less PSU) *Not wise to do... lol, it will be a 100% loss after one year.

... And still scrypt mine alt-coins, and play games. Tongue

Have fun paying that 3KW power bill compared to 80W, the heat and size of 3 full open case mining rigs.

So what you've concluded: 4% of the power consumption, same performance, 5% of the footprint.

Community chest.

I turned it off for an 8 hours - it hurts.
I tried reset it and it doesn't work.

Remember when you reset it it will go back to .254
