Teslas are dope.  If you want to keep yourself from ever enjoying owning one because Elon decided to troll the crypto community, you're cutting off your nose to spite your face.  You don't have to like the guy, but him being a troll seems like a questionable reason to never own one of his products.  You'd think in this community his trolling would be appreciated, as everyone here seems to love drama.  I guess it's less funny when you're the ones being trolled...
8222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 20, 2021, 08:36:37 PM
The Suns vs Lakers series might provide some good gambling opportunities considering the Lakers are supposedly the underdog.  The Suns have struggled a great deal against teams with a lot of size this year, and the Lakers have A LOT of size now with Drummond.  I feel pretty good about betting the Lakers on this series, and maybe going big on game 1 with a Lakers victory.  I really don't think the Suns have a chance whatsoever (they're my home team Cry) and would be surprised if they take a single game against the defending champs.

Very cool product.  I wonder a bit how you were able to do it.  The laser engraving looks really clean.  Do you have any videos of the process that potential customers could watch?  It's great to see people bringing new products and methods to the forum that can be enjoyed by different types of Bitcoiners.  Thank you for sharing your product creation and best of luck to you with your sales on this forum.
8224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 20, 2021, 08:10:52 PM
I wouldn't want my tax dollars going towards incentives for getting vaccines.  Other than that I don't see a problem with it.  If people are willing to compromise themselves for a lotto ticket, they are free to do so.  Personally, I think this is a bit of a case of using people's ignorance to get them to do what you want.  Obviously the odds are bad that someone would win this, but I'm sure it isn't stopping people from trying to get their shot for a lotto ticket.  If you flash some money you can get people who are bad at math to do just about anything.

8226  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fact: You cannot be secure in Zionism but can be in other religions on: May 20, 2021, 07:04:38 AM
Blanket statements about any group of people (in this case a religion) are almost always foolish. I see this OP’s post as nothing out of the ordinary in that regard. I think a better statement would be that anyone could be secure in anything with the right mindset. Maybe try seeing things from a place of positivity instead of negativity.
8227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 20, 2021, 04:43:03 AM
I thought everyone was crazy thinking the Warriors will win this game but after that first quarter I had my doubts on if the Lakers could pull it off. LeBron James came through at the end though with the clutch three right in Stephen Curry’s face for the win. You could see Steph say some thing as he jumped to block the shot but I guess only him and LeBron will know what it was.
8228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB price on: May 20, 2021, 02:14:13 AM
It’s easy for everyone to say this is a purchasing opportunity, but BNB is a bit of a victim of it’s own success. Early holders are getting massive returns on a daily basis and that creates a lot of sustained downward pressure. In times of cashing out, it will no doubt be hit harder than some other comparable coins, but this is also why it will have potentially greater longer period returns in a healthy market.
8229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 20, 2021, 02:10:23 AM
Nice to see Memphis getting it done against the Spurs. I think their fall from the David Robinson days is finally complete. It was a long reign at the top of sports when it comes to winning, but they aren’t even a playoff team anymore after missing them twice in a row.

Glad we have Doris Burke doing the commentating. The end of this game was more exciting then it needed to be…

I (OgNasty) will humbly accept any free spot you have left available.  Looks to only be a few.

Thank you very much for putting on a free raffle.  It is beyond great to see people giving back to the Bitcoin community with free events like this that people can participate in.  I appreciate your effort here.  Now if you could just choose me for that silver coin, that'd be great.  Wink
8231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Latest FUD from Elon Musk: Tesla Has Diamond Hands on: May 19, 2021, 08:40:52 PM
Tesla might have Diamond Hands, but I'm guessing Elon bought himself a stack before Tesla did and just dumped it on the community.  Between this and his MASSIVE position in dogecoin before the pump, he's probably making billions of dollars and laughing at all the crypto folks.  I figured this would be OK so long as Tesla was accepting BTC and not selling it, but even that was just a ruse.  I guess you don't become the richest man in the world without manipulating the hell out of people for your own financial gain.

Bump for all those who just got Zhoutonged!

ZHOU TONGED - LOST FUNDZ

RIP to the leveraged traders. May your lesson never be learned so that future generations can enjoy the sounds of being Zhoutonged.

If you’ve never heard this song, you should. All traders should be forced to listen to every single word before being granted the ability to trade using leverage.

How was your trading impacted by this latest dip? Did you get Zhoutonged?
8233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 19, 2021, 07:50:23 PM
Bets locked already.
Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors
Warriors +3.5. Just to make sure.
I'd risk it just being a fan of Steph Curry. Also to add some spice and excitement while watching the game. Over 218.5

Memphis Grizzlies or San Antonio Spurs? Spurs as underdogs.

Seems pretty risky betting against LeBron with Steph down so much of his backup. I like your over pick, but I think the Lakers are gonna bring this one home.

The real question is who does Charles Barkley think will win? Betting against his picks has been a sure thing the last few years.

Awesome pictures. Thank you for posting them. I’ve got another batch of orders going out tomorrow. Glad to see these coins getting snapped up lately. It takes a great deal of effort to generate so many consecutive public addresses and engrave them in such a small area. I’m glad to be able to do it and on such a pretty and valuable medium.
8235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 19, 2021, 11:23:24 AM
Hilarious that Charles Barkley guaranteed a Charlotte victory and they got stomped so badly by Indiana. His guarantee might as well be a kiss of death when it comes to predictions and NBA games. It’s hard to imagine that someone could have such a bad record even if you were just guessing. Charles Barkley is one of a kind. Always bet against his predictions.
8236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 19, 2021, 05:17:13 AM
BNB has a great user experience if you don’t mind the centralized aspect. When you compare fees and speed with Ethereum it isn’t even really comparable. Adding in finance using BNB For their users to pay fees and it seems like a pretty good investment to me. However, it has been taking a beating lately in the price department and it’s rise before that has a lot of people taking profits but I think the future could still be bright.
8237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 19, 2021, 05:14:20 AM
I thought both teams in that Boston versus Washington game shot pretty poorly. Especially the stars. With both teams field-goal percentage hovering around 40% I don’t think there’s too much to feel good about on this one. You can say it was their defense but it looked like a lot of sloppy shooting to me. I really wanted to see Russell Westbrook make a difference these playoffs but he still had a great season.

Would be great to see some examples of your work. It’s hard to judge someone’s skills without seeing their previous work. As others have stated this probably isn’t the best spot for offering your services, especially without a project to show. Try the services section and good luck!
8239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 18, 2021, 09:25:10 PM
I just don’t know if Curry can be enough. Even with AD and LeBron not at full strength. Plus, you KNOW nobody wants to avoid playing more games before the playoffs than LeBron. If he’s able, I expect we’ll see him play like we haven’t in many months. I don’t think golden state has any answer for Drummond either. If the Lakers can all play together well, the Warriors just don’t have the size to match up.
Lebron was down 3-1 against a 73 win warriors and still managed to win the championship with bunch of scrabs that became tanking team after he left, I do not get how in the world people are still underestimating lebron after all these years, it is seriously unbelievable.

I mean he has AD and very good role players around him now, sure not superb but they are still very good, I would prefer last years team over this years honestly but they are still very good, versus Warriors team missing Klay, how do you guys imagine Lakers could ever possibly lose to that? Lebron would never allow that, and AD is way too good to be stopped by any big Warriors have, the natural PF at warriors is Draymond and no matter how great he is, even during New Orleans days, AD cooked warriors, he is like their kryptonite and he will destroy them once again here as well.

He's rapidly approaching 40 years old and is coming off an injury without time to play himself back into shape, that's how.  I'll be the first in line to say LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time, but his reign isn't going to last forever.  He's already resulted to changing his game a great deal over the last two years as a result of losing a step, but he's still capable of greatness no doubt.  The LeBron that beat the 73 win Warriors isn't the same LeBron of today though.  It is clear he's slowing down and this last year has been a brutal one for him with nearly no time off and a serious ankle injury.  I am appreciating every game I get to see him play, because his days are numbered.  I do hope he can manage to build a strong enough team around him to win 2 more championships though.  I'd like to see him end up with as many as Michael Jordan when all is said and done.
8240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core wallet.dat restore shows wrong amount. on: May 18, 2021, 08:25:47 PM
Wallets like Electrum have the option in settings to not use change addresses. This helps make backup a lot more simple, but you give up a certain amount of financial privacy in doing so. Still, change addresses are a tricky thing for people to comprehend and I would advise new users who don’t comprehend the way change addresses work to take advantage of features that will keep your coins from ending up at change addresses. Even if you manage your change addresses properly, you’d have to constantly be backing them up in order to keep from losing your funds in the event of a hard drive crash.
