8221  Other / Meta / Re: account fullmember in read-only mode for more than 9 months. theymos not react on: October 09, 2018, 12:47:59 PM
I think the earlier you begin to make peace with the obvious fact that you most probably do not have even have an iota of chance of getting it back "just as the below quoted post from a Mod supposed" the better, and considering that users whose accounts never got banned, but only hacked then locked, and posses the appropriate requirements to unlock them are barely getting their accounts back makes it almost impossible to get it back.

The fact that your account was banned for distributing malware makes it unlikely that it will ever get recovered. So, yeah, just a heads up in case you're still hoping.

All that being said, I believe not getting the account back won't deter your relevance or the impact you can make on the forum. but I really do wish if there is ever any chance that you do get your account back.
8222  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 08, 2018, 02:11:46 PM
I don't think banks will become obsolete or neglected regardless of how much cryptocurrency becomes accepted in the future for certain reasons;

1. A huge percentage of the world still cannot or can barely use Internet banking facilities and features appropriately, how much more of a more complicated technology such as blockchain.
2. People will still need to make use of banks when cashing in on or buying their crypto assets
3. Cryptocurrency is more of an Investments structure due to its volatility (with no assurance on what the outcome would be), rather than a savings structure.
...and more so, should cryptocurrency be officially endorsed and accepted widely across the world, Integrating cryptocurrency into the present day banking system wouldn't be such a hard thing to do..
8223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: October 07, 2018, 02:48:06 PM
I'm against dumping of airdrop or bounty coins by hunters as it leaves real investors in difficult situation most times, but I do find it strategic to exchange them for BTC or ETH instantly sometimes and then wait for a day or two with the expectations of the coin falling deeper sometimes below 50-100% or maybe more in some instances, then I'll buy back with the initial BTC or ETH I traded it for, which means I'll be getting X1.5 - X3  of the initial coin I got from the distribution. Of course, I will then hold for a significant increase in value of the token.
8224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum vanish? on: October 06, 2018, 03:35:22 PM
I know that this year is quite odd when it comes to crypto curriences. My main concern is Ethereuem. I know that in almost year ago the max price was 1.200$. So i am really cheering for comeback on the some discent values..

Just as you've stated, It wasn't just only Ethereum that was affected by the bearish market, all coins got affected, maybe to different extent, Including Bitcoin, which was well over $17,000 earlier this year, but as the time of this post it is priced at $6560 and that's well over 150% decrease. The whole market is due for a significant change, and Ethereum will definitely bounce back.
8225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: October 05, 2018, 06:41:55 PM
Nice advise though but you cannot dictate bounty hunters to hold if the coin is already up for trading in an exchange. Bounty hunters work because they want to cash out right away after the distribution. Bounty tokens were not that huge so how can we tell they are the ones who were dumping? This is one of the misconceptions in todays day trade. They always blame bounty hunters as the one dumping and decreasing the value of a token.

My point exactly! I have witnessed quite a number of ICOs in which Bounty Hunters tokens are locked for a period of 2-3 Months or even more, but then the token price still drops drastically way before Hunters get their tokens, That made me come to a conclusion that the crypto sphere is full of manipulations, Imagine in some cases where about just 2-3% of the token supply or sold tokens are allotted to bounty hunters and then you find up to 15-20% of the same token supply in the first 24 hours trading volume on the exchange selling below the ico price, where does the remaining 17-18% come from ?, bounty hunters aren't always the ones behind the drastic decline of tokens value, though they do have their impact too, but hunters solely shouldn't be blamed.

8227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: October 04, 2018, 08:37:35 PM
Q4 prediction of bitcoin ?
I guess there will be an increase in bitcoin during this year's last quarter, It would be between $8,000 - $9000 in my prediction, although charts and historical data or prices are not real indications of what the price would be rather they are a mere form of reference speculation.

Time to by now ?
Since there are no limitations to what the price of a bitcoin could be, there is no wrong time to buy, sometimes can only be more strategic than the other.
8228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest all my savings in cryptocurrencies on: October 04, 2018, 06:11:29 PM
That is definitely not advisable, In crypto the more you invest the more you could gain but also the more you could end up losing. And there is a saying that don't invest what you can't  afford to lose. So, if you really know you can afford to lose all your savings then it could be worth giving it a shot, else you can minimise your investment in order not to have any inconveniences with you/or your family means of livelihood.

8230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Reviews, trust them or NOT? on: October 03, 2018, 10:24:15 PM
ICO ratings and surveys in my opinion are platforms that should be used just to garner basic informations about a project, such as Token price, ICO timeline, Project roadmap, among other informations, but their ratings shouldn't be used as a basis for investment as it has been proven in recent times that these ratings can be influenced and manipulated. To me, they are more or less just like an index or database you can refer to just get to know what project is currently available after which investors should endeavor to make personal in depth research before investment in any project in order to avoid investing in a scam or an unworthy project.
8231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your HODL motivation on: October 03, 2018, 05:49:44 PM
I personally hold different coins for different reasons, Sometimes for investment, while other times It could be due to disappointment in the price of the coin. I'm currently holding quite a number TRX, and XLM which basically for investment and due complete belief in project. Nevertheless I also hold some other coins I got from bounties such as Verity, and Bethereum, seeing how those tokens price are abused by numerous dumping from bounty hunters (and maybe some private investors), I was somewhat forced to hold them, knowing fully well the potentials of these projects.
8232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: In 10 years 20$ will turn 100k on: October 02, 2018, 06:55:09 PM
10 years time in crypto currencies . 20$ will become at least 100k?
Rn I'm holding tron, and eos 20$ and ontology 10$ airdrop. I don't plan on moving it around cus its nothing to me. I'll wait it out 10 years.

In crypto anything can happen, It has happened  before with some coins and could definitely happen again in a matter of time, but instead of waiting around on these alone, I'd suggest you buy a little more of these coins if you can afford to overlook them for that period of 10 years, I think it would be worth the wait.
8233  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Bitcoin bullrun this year. on: October 02, 2018, 11:42:12 AM
A lot of people telling that there will be no Bitcoin bullrun this year. Do you think it is TRUE? I am worried because Bitcoins price might fall to the lowest this year.
Thinking Bitcoin price will fall to the lowest this year is speculative. People have different understanding, interpretation and opinion on what the market would be, but in crypto currency nothing is guaranteed, most especially not the price. In my own candid opinion, I think there is still enough time left in the year and we could be in for another massive increase in price or the so called bullrun come the end of the year.
8234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: October 02, 2018, 03:26:49 AM
Ethereum has suffered a huge decline and has barely recovered in price in these past months, Buying in Ethereum now is a very good idea because it is in a somewhat very low state and could get back up pretty soon, but selling your Bitcoin for Ethereum is definitely not advisable. Should feel the need to buy Ethereum, then perhaps you should diversify by selling a proportion of your bitcoin for Ethereum.
8235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: October 01, 2018, 05:24:13 PM
I don't think so. Some crypto will soon cease to exist since some of them will loose investors as their value go down. That is why you should be smart upon picking on which crypto you are going to keep on investing in. Bitcoin is most likely to survive since it is very powerful and it is the pioneer of cryptocurrency.
If a crypto coin value goes down, that doesn't mean it can't or will never get to recover. So far the project has a well adopted and working product, It would only be a matter of time for the coin to get back to the top in terms of value, As you'll see some tokens lose value drastically on hitting an exchange, most times due bounty hunters selling at almost any price, even some early private investors do cash in on the their 30-50% profits by selling at ICO price. But, after some weeks, maybe months or year you'll see the coin recover tremendously.
8236  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: October 01, 2018, 12:43:04 PM
Since two of most the important distinguishing features of Crypto currency are Anonymity and Decentralization, while Tax on the other hand needs to be imposed, regulated, monitored and centralized by an authority, these are two diverse phenomenon and doesn't complement each other. Taxes on crypto currency will bring about the crypto space losing the two afforementioned features which are its core intended and initial goals.
8237  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: September 29, 2018, 11:40:23 PM
Bitcoin will forever be anything but stability is out of the picture. Due to its decentralization and high volatility which is determined by the market, there is definitely no way for Bitcoin to be stable. That being said, for Bitcoin to ever attain stability then It will have to be Centralized and Governed by a party and as well its price will also need to be dictated by a specific party or product, and not determined by the market as the case currently is.
8238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: August 13, 2018, 02:44:04 AM
With ICO Airdrop these days, it is hard to differentiate between what is real and what is a scam project, or which project will be successful or which one wouldn't even reach it's soft cap, then fail eventually. While some that surpasses all phases of token sales after hitting an exchange losses value drastically in hours and might never recover over years. But there are still some few aidrops around that actually ends up worthing a while.
8239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now dying, what do you think? on: August 13, 2018, 02:30:40 AM
Now ETH is the lowest since the beginning of the year. What do you think of? ETH is experiencing a lot of problems and prices are falling dramatically. Should I sell my ETH?

Perhaps, ETH is indeed the lowest since the beginning of the year. But it's price was also high and very reasonable a few months ago at about $735 and was also over the $500 mark some weeks back. Selling now should be based on your interpretation of the market and what your expectations are. Are you trying to minimise your loss ? If yes, then IMO, ETH is currently at it's lowest price for the year, I think it can only get better. But if you bought your current ETH at a lower price, then fine, you can sell it. But still it is your decision to make.
