Update:

Good News!  HashFast will be announcing Contact imminently.

Please check the HashFast Blog for more information.

What lousy PR. "Imminently" meaning more than 12 hours? Or you just wanted to create some useless traffic on their blog?
Yes, quite an annoying technique.

I must admit, you're not the only one annoyed.

Why would you be annoyed? You're the one that went out and announced that there was going to be an announcement.

well, i'm not as annoyed as you might want me to be.

it's just that they asked me to pre-announce yesterday afternoon with the expectation that they'd f/u within a short time period.  no biggie.  it's coming soon.

Hopefully DPR used an m-of-n method, or chose a truly random key/passcode to secure the wallet.
Ah yes, that would really help him in exchange for a lifetime in jail. And it will surely help his relations with his inmates, some of them who may get out of jail again, given that the only thing standing between them and potentially 80 million worth of assets is a little "convincing". Cheesy Cheesy

Btw, I guess you're short gold again cypher?

good intuition.  yep, back in.
8228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: October 09, 2013, 02:29:15 AM
The DPR fallout continues.

While some wealthy individuals have hopped on board, it's still too new of a system for most as yet. This is where they, having thus far remained largely dismissive of Bitcoin, will really start to take notice. If Bitcoin continues to protect such a large amount of wealth from confiscation and taxation, there will be inflow. Hopefully DPR used an m-of-n method, or chose a truly random key/passcode to secure the wallet.

At the same time, the enormous dam holding precious metals back is crumbling rapidly. Of course, the gains in monetary metals will be less than Bitcoin because of the greater potential from growth of the latter. Regardless, diversification is a wise strategy.

are you still advising ppl to lose money?

or to put simply

again im not into drugs, i just hate all of this false information and hype media brings to the negative side of things. either way by christmas i hope silk road references will disappear from media and the word silk road will only be used in reference to the sexual journey between a woman's legs. and to all the virgins out there, untill you have gone up the silk road, you won't know what i mean Cheesy

this is really good.

get to work Mr. President.

Any idea if these will be functional on p2pool?
I can answer that: Yes.

con, have you had a chance to work on the Sierra configuration yet?
I've only seen emulation hardware so far.

do you think there would be any significant differences btwn the Sierra and the BabyJet in regards to the controller software/cgminer?
It should not be dramatically different, and the one cgminer driver should run either of them fine based on how the microcontroller design has evolved.

one controller could/is be expected to drive/control a dozen or more Sierra's simultaneously.
